"Disappointment" (Credit: Rattlesnake)
As the Night of Rematches comes to a close, one can't help but wonder just what else could happen tonight. A great set of matches followed by a stellar main event. It seems like nothing could ruin that moment. Or so the fans thought. "Blind" blares through the arena speakers as Rattlesnake walks from the back with Sarin by his side. He walks down the ramp to boos from the crowd. Rattlesnake scoffs as he walks by a bunch of fans giving him thumbs down and middle fingers. He slides into the ring and looks very pissed off. Sarin walks up the steps and enters through the ropes. Rattlesnake reaches down for a mic and paces around the ring.
Rattlesnake: You know, I was waiting for tonight. I had a match scheduled and I was going to come out here and I was going to kick someone's ass. But there was a contributing factor to the real reason why my match got canceled. By getting cheated out of the World Championship, the "powers-that-be" felt that placing me in a Steel Chair Symphony would be too...brutal with my mindset. So, for the sake of the person I was supposed to face, that match got canceled. I got left with nothing tonight. But that's not going to happen. Not tonight and especially not to me. So I'm demanding that someone come out to this ring right now!
Rattlesnake throws the mic down and waits. A minute goes by and nothing. Rattlesnake goes to check his watch when he gets his answer.
*GONG*
Rattlesnake looks up at the entrance ramp. He looks confused, like he doesn't know what's going on. He looks around the arena as the fans just start cheering for what he would think as no reason.
*GONG*
The second gong goes off. Rattlesnake turns to Sarin and lets her know to leave the ring. She gets out of the ring, but stays close to Rattlesnake.
*GON-*"OOOOOoOOOoooOOOOO LATINO!"
The beats of War's "Lowrider" begins to play as the lights dim down and a spotlight shines at the entrance. The crowd stands up and starts to cheer the former World Champion. Latino walks through the curtains and looks around with a smirk on his face as he slaps his chest slowly and with much ferocity. Latino walks down the entranceway occasionally looking left and right at the fans in the front row. They all erupt with cheers as he passes them by. He then jumps on the ring apron and holds up an arm, garnering another round of cheer from the crowd as he slips inside the ring.
Rattlesnake: What's going on here?!
Latino: You wanted a match? You got one.
Rattlesnake stands beside himself as Latino backs up into his corner.

The True Main Event: Rattlesnake vs. Latino (Credit: Snake/Latino)
As the Referee calls for the bell, the fans have clearly overcome the arena with a loud amount of cheers as Latino takes a brief second to flash the classic smile back to the crowd. He then walks into the middle of the ring as the fans continue to cheer. Within seconds, Latino is face to face with his opponent for the night as he looks up at the Rattlesnake himself. Snake makes a few choice words and Latino merely laughs them off. He looks left and right and then back at Snake as he starts muttering a few Spanish obscenities to his opponent. One fan breaks the two wrestlers’ concentration and lets his self be known as he yells out "HEY DON'T LET JBL GET TO YOU!" Snake glances back and yells back "I'm not JBL!" Rattlesnake charges at Latino but he ducks the first attack in the match. Latino waits for Snake to turn around and he throws a strong right that lands straight across his opponent's jaw. Snake throws a right of his own and Latino throws back until both men are in the midst of a storm of punches. They each lean back with each impact but don’t stop no matter the damage. Latino finally ducks a right and he runs for the ropes in front of him. He bounces off gaining some momentum and Snake comes straight at Latino with a big elbow to the side of the face. The blow hits the fan favorite hard as he stops right in his tracks. Latino stumbles back and forth for a few seconds and can't help but grab the side of his face that is feeling the pain. As he turns around, Snake doesn't stop the attack, clubbing Latino right in the back of the head. Latino stumbles a few steps back into the corner and Snake doesn't stop as he knees his unwelcome opponent in the gut.
He drives another knee attack but this time Latino learns from his mistake and catches the knee with his hands. The Hispanic wrestler drives an elbow of his back into the face of Rattlesnake as the fans let out a loud "YEEEAAAAA!" Latino throws another elbow attack that forces his opponent to take a few steps back. The former World Champion takes the chance as he jump up on the second turnbuckle and he springboards back with a Crossbody block that causes both men to slam into the ring mat. Latino quickly rolls off of Snake and quickly gives off a shimmy to the right and then another shimmy to the left that drives the fans wild. Latino quickly turns around to catch Snake as he stands back up and Latino immediately kicks Snake in the gut. He does so again and as Rattlesnake bends over, Latino puts him in position for the Three Shots. Latino looks side to side to the fans as they are eager to see this move performed once again. He tries to lift him up but the Rattlesnake is fighting back with ease. He uses his power to his advantage as Snake grabs Latino and throws him pulls out a Vertical Suplex of his own that hangs for a brief second until Latino is slammed down with an impact that shakes the ring.
Snake pulls Latino back onto his feet and whips him into the ropes. He bounces off and Snake goes for a shoulder block, but Latino dodges out of the way at the last second. He turns around and gives Rattlesnake a dropkick to the face that makes the big man stumble back a few steps. Latino then waits a few moments as measures the distance for his next move. Snake takes a firm stance only to a feel the sound of a loud WHACK as he's hit in the face with the classic Superkick to the face. Snake stumbles back and goes over the top rope as the fans let out a big pop. Latino slaps his chest with one hand and then charges straight towards his opponent, outside of the ring. He gains speed and momentum as he nears the ropes and then leaps over the top rope. Latino spins 360 degrees and then slams down into Rattlesnake with the Coqui’s Flight. The fans let out a big cheer, watching the move that hasn’t been done in months. They all stand up in surprise and shock as Latino's body comes down hard and crashes into his opponent. Both men hit the mat hard and the Referee leans over the ropes checking on both men.
The two men are laid out like a car crash as Latino slowly rolls over and Rattlesnake works himself towards the audience. The Referee starts his count as the fans begin to let themselves be known….
…..ONE………TWO……..

Fan: Get up Latino! ………..THREE………
Latino grabs a hold of the ring apron as he slowly pulls himself up. Meanwhile behind him Rattlesnake is doing the same with the help from the audience barrier. A few fans close to him start chanting “LATINO! LATINO! LATINO!” over and over. He grabs one of the fan’s drink and throws it right into his face. Latino climbs up onto the apron and then leaps off at his opponent with an Axe Handle smash to the face, but Snake quickly backs up and hits Latino with a shoulder block that nearly takes the air out of the former World Champion.
………FOUR!............FIVE!............SIX!.....
Latino is forced back to his feet and Rattlesnake roughly whips him into the steel post. The fans can’t help but let out a loud “OOOOOOOOO” as his head cracks against the post. As Latino rolls into the middle of the ring, Snake slides into the ring before the Ref can utter another word. He starts to get up as Latino himself is standing backing, grabbing the side of his head that’s throbbing in pain. Just as he looks up Snake comes at him and grabs him by the throat. In one quick motion he lifts him up a couple feet from the mat and then slams Latino deep into the middle of the ring with the chokeslam. Latino’s body practically jumps an inch in the air from the impact and then slams back down. Rattlesnake quickly goes for the first cover of the night as he pins Latino’s arms down. The Referee slides onto the ring mat and starts the count…….ONE………….TW- kickout by the Latino One as the fans let out a loud cheer. Snake looks around the ring with a look of discuss. He stands up and mockingly slaps his chest and then spits down at his opponent.
The spit runs down Latino’s face as he in a daze slowly wipes it off of his face. He rolls onto his stomach and forces himself up to one knee as the moments pass on by. Rattlesnake watches with a grin. He reaches down and pulls Latino up to his feet by his hair and throws a punch. Latino stumbles back but then comes forward with a punch of his own. Snake takes a few steps back near the corner. Latino runs at his opponent and leaps at him with a splash. Snake catches him and quickly lifts him. He holds Latino up for a brief second and then finishes off the counter with the Snake Eyes. Latino snaps back like a drunken Scott Hall selling the Stunner. He falls back as Snake grabs the ropes, pulling himself back onto his feet. The fans are now chanting louder than ever “LATINO! LATINO! LATINO!” over and over again as the Referee checks on the named wrestler. Snake pushes the Referee out of the way and Latino takes the chance to give his opponent’s knee a stiff kick. The blow takes Rattlesnake by surprise and knocks him down to one knee. Latino rolls backwards and just as he gets to his feet lunges forward and within the blink of and eye pulls off the Switchblade Cut. Snake slams into the mat and he’s rolled onto his back as this time Latino takes the chance to make a cover. The Referee once again makes the count…..ONE……..TWO….. and Snake kicks out as the fans let out a loud range of boos.
Latino gets back to his feet and starts to stalk Rattlesnake. Rattlesnake gets to his feet only to get locked into the La Puta Driver. But due to Rattlesnake's sheer weight and height advantage, Latino can't finish off the move. Rattlesnake uses his strength and runs backwards into the turnbuckle. This causes Latino to break his hold on Rattlesnake. Rattlesnake takes the advantage and through some slithery moves, manages to set Latino up for the Snakebite. Rattlesnake looks around at the crowd and smirks as he sets it off. Unbeknownst to Rattlesnake, Latino was anticipating this. Latino shifts his weight and twirls in front of Rattlesnake and takes him down with an earth-shaking Tornado DDT. Both men are down from exhaustion and the referee, who wants to see how far this match will go without his intervention, reluctantly counts again.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Sarin urges Rattlesnake to get up.

FOUR!
Both Rattlesnake and Latino start to show some signs of life as they slowly start to get up.
FIVE!
SIX!
Latino gets to one knee while Rattlesnake reaches for the ropes to pull himself up.
SEVEN!
EIGHT!
NINE!
Just before the ten, Latino reaches his feet while Rattlesnake pulls himself up at the same time. They both stare at each other as the fans just erupt with cheers for both Latino and Rattlesnake. They take a second to look around and that prompts the crowd to cheer louder. Rattlesnake and Latino focus their sights back on each other. Both physically drained, they know they have to do whatever it takes to take their opponent down. It's time for the showdown to finally commence.
Rattlesnake and Latino walks to the center of the ring and just start slugging each other with hard right hands. Latino, Snake, Latino, Snake, Latino, Snake, Latino, Snake, Latino, Snake. Neither man trying to let the other one take the advantage. Snake, Latino, Snake, Latino, Snake, Snake, Snake. Rattlesnake finally gets it and swoops behind a dazed Latino and hits a Rolling German Suplex, followed by a second and followed by a third, completing a tri-fecta Poisonous Venom. But before the referee can make the count, Latino escapes the bridge. Somehow, out of sheer adrenaline, as Rattlesnake gets to his feet, he's met with a kick to the stomach. Latino grabs Rattlesnake and sets him up for the Three Shots again. This time, Latino lifts him up and nails the first one. With a swift twist, Latino stands up and hits the second one. With another twist, Latino gets up and plants Rattlesnake with the third one. The crowd goes wild. Latino watches Rattlesnake get to his feet. As Rattlesnake turns around, Latino springboards off the top rope and latches onto Rattlesnake for a Hurricanrana. Unfortunately, Rattlesnake had this move scouted and uses Latino's own momentum to slam him down to the mat with a tremendous Sit-down Powerbomb. Rattlesnake goes to cover and the referee counts. ONE.....TWO.....THR-NO! Latino gets the shoulder up and Rattlesnake huffs as he begins to get irritated now.
Rattlesnake stands up and picks Latino up. With some of his remaining strength, Rattlesnake whips Latino into the ropes. But, uncharacteristically, Rattlesnake waits for Latino to bounce off the other side before he charges toward Latino. Rattlesnake goes to hit a running Yakuza Kick, but Latino manages to duck at the last second. The referee, on the other hand, couldn't duck in time and gets colostomized with Rattlesnake's boot. The kick knocks him into the turnbuckle and drops him like a sack of bricks. Latino turns around and lunges toward Rattlesnake. He catches this out of the corner of his eye and as Latino reaches him, Rattlesnake grabs the top rope and drops, causing Latino to go over the top rope and land on the outside. Rattlesnake slides out of the ring and walks over to the timekeeper's table. He shoves the timekeeper out of the way and grabs a steel chair. Rattlesnake walks over to Latino and stalks him. As Latino reaches his feet and turns around, Rattlesnake nails him over the top of his head with a sickening thud from the steel chair.
The referee starts to stir as Rattlesnake grabs Latino by his hair and pulls him up. He slides Latino into the ring and follows him. Rattlesnake goes for a quick cover as the fans boo. The referee notices the cover and slowly counts. ONE..........................TWO..........................THRE-NO! Latino manages to get the shoulder up. Rattlesnake pounds the mat in frustration. Rattlesnake stands up and watches Latino. Latino slowly gets to his feet. He turns around to see Rattlesnake running into the ropes. As he bounces off and runs back toward Latino, Latino grins and levels Rattlesnake with the Machete. The fans cheer as the sudden change in momentum. The sight of the Machete means only one thing. Latino points to the turnbuckle and slowly climbs it. At the top, Latino sticks part of his finger in his mouth and then holds it in the air as if he was checking the direction of the wind. Latino grins and then leaps off with the Frog Splash. Rattlesnake starts to stir and moves at the last second. Unfortunately, Latino's aim was a little off due to ring rust but Rattlesnake moved right into the Frog Splash. Latino manages to maintain a cover on Rattlesnake as the referee hits the mat and counts. ONE...........TWO...........THREE! The referee calls for the bell as the fans erupt with cheers.
Philip: Here is your winner, LAAAAAAATIIIIIIINNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Exhaustedly, Latino staggers to his feet and raises his arm in victory. He looks down at Rattlesnake as Sarin climbs into the ring to check on him. Her concerned look shows more of her feelings for the big guy. Latino leaves the ring, but keeps an eye on Rattlesnake. With a little help from Sarin, Rattlesnake gets to his feet and watches Latino exit to the back.
Even on this Night of Rematches, everyone knows that eventually a rematch of this match will take place. So that would make that event the Night of Rematches for the Night of Rematches or something like that.
So the night is finally done.
What will transpire from this?
The only way to find out is to tune into Meltdown.
The show fades to black.
End show? Yes. End Show.

I like the whole Sparta thing...although more direct references should be made I think. Anyway, pretty good show..haven't had a chance to read through all of the matches yet due to their length and my short PC reading span (I can read a book for hours, but this screen gives me a headache >_<).

The ending was great. I love unexpected stuff and seeing Latino back in the ring with Snake was total win.

Nice show, but why Mike has to use Final Draft I have no idea.
