Rose comes forward, and she sees that Latino is clutching his right knee and calf, having evidently landed awkwardly. Rose’s face is pure malevolence as she attacks the joint with the chair, causing Latino to cry out in pain; 2,3,4 times she cracks the steel against bone, all thoughts of Ridley’s request erased from her mind. Once she is happy that Latino is incapacitated, Rose rolls him back into the ring near the post; Latino tries to crawl away but Rose is too quick for him and she locks in her turnbuckle figure four, adding incredible pressure to Latino’s already badly injured knee. Latino howls and yells all the insults he can think of, but Rose just seems to enjoy herself all the more. Eventually Rose gets bored, and retrieving the second chair she determines to finish the fight once and for all. As she does so, however, she does not see Latino roll himself to the other side of the ring and retrieve the first chair……
Rose returns to the ring to find Latino, incredibly, standing unsupported; he is held aloft by pure willpower alone. The crowd is absolutely going insane as the pair face each other, both bloodied and bruised; then, at almost exactly the same second, they swing their chairs at one another. The crowd literally screams as the pair score direct hits on each other’s head; the double shot makes a sickening sound, and both Rose and Latino collapse to the mat. Everything seems to stop dead, and no – one is sure what to do; then from the back comes RDK, running to the ring. He gives Rose a cursory glance, then starts laying into the helpless Latino; the crowd roars angrily, and their cries are a clarion call to Bladeshadow, who flies down the ramp and sets about RDK. No sooner has Blade arrived, however, than he finds himself in a many – on – 1 with RDK and a number of druids, who burst out of the crowd; Blade is in trouble but the snowball effect is kicking in as Double – oh four and Gingerdude rush to join the melee. The ring is in chaos as Latino and Rose start to come around; on the stage, the Chairman appears with a squadron of heels in tow, and they storm the ring. Before half of them arrive however, the face side of the locker – room commits itself to the battle, and the crowd is treated to the never – before seen sight of almost the entire roster engaged in a mass scrap.
V3: Jesus, it’s all kicking off here……
V3 doesn’t get much further as Kain runs in and attacks both him and PDogg.
PDogg: Oh you want some do you? Well mister, you just got more than you can handle!
PDogg and V3 abandon the announce position and go into battle against Kain, the fight heading out into the audience.
The fighting rages all over and spills out into the crowd; Rey and El Loco make an early start on Monkey and Tyd on the stage, throwing one another against the set and causing pieces to fall off. The area around and behind the announcers desk is the setting for a Yoko – GWD practice run, as Yoko whirls her croquet mallet to send opponents soaring all over the place. A little way into the crowd, Kain is still taking on V3 and PDogg, and their battle merges with one between BK and Spider. On another front, Fury rips into whoever is in range; he goes to slam Gingerbread Man on to the security barrier, but his opponent from earlier in the show, Kross, steps in and the two fight one another just as hard as they did in their previous match. The fighting is extraordinary, and in the centre of it all Rose beams with pleasure, crushing Latino with her dragon sleeper and feeling his breaths become weaker and more laboured with every second………<br>
And then suddenly, the lights flare and then fail; the crowd goes berserk and everyone waits for the arrival of the one person missing thus far from the battle……….
…….but there are no gongs and no more druids; instead, the darkness is shattered by a blast of light from the headlights of a car, and an ear splitting horn blast heralds the arrival of a vehicle that somehow looks familiar, and yet is not……….
With the arena still dark, the lowrider pulls forward, forcing the wrestlers on the ramp to dive into the crowd as it passes. The driver slams on the breaks, and the group of people in the ring parts so that Rose is caught in the headlights glare. No – one knows what is going on – not the Chairman, not RDK, not Gingerdude, and a hush descends on both roster and crowd as the door of the lowrider swings open, and a figure steps out. The person approaches the ring from the side, so that they cannot be seen clearly; they climb up, and pause just outside the halo of the lights.
Mystery Person: Excuse me, miss……….
Rose looks over at the figure; she is annoyed at the interruption.
Rose: Are you talking to me?
Mystery Person: That’s right. Is your name Alexandra Kaesar?
Rose is still applying the dragon sleeper to Latino, but she is a little taken aback by the person’s knowledge of her name…
Rose: Wha……how do you know my name? Who are you?
The mystery person steps forward into the light; Rose doesn’t recognise him, but a number of roster members do, as do the crowd, and a huge surge of noise fills the arena………..
