Three Rounds of Five Minutes each with 30 seconds rest between rounds
Win by Submission, Knockout, Disqualification, or Decision
Three Judges seated at ringside make the decision based on their trained opinions and a point based system, decisions can be challenged to a higher ACW board if a competitor suspects bias or incompetence on part of the majority decision
For an illegal tactic, the ref issues a verbal warning for the first time, and forces a break, for the second one, sends the offender to their corner and issues a yellow card, for the third, disqualifies the offender with a red card, which is debatable by the ringside judges within 1 minute of the card's issue
No outside interference is allowed, anyone breaking this rule will be suspended immediatly from ACW pending review

Well...I was thinking along the lines of using ACW trained staff(referees) to judge the MMA match, but I suppose you could step in as the third judge if the fight is allowed.

Thirty-second rest period in between each round, isn't it?
Just wondering. Since Ridley's predominantly a shootfighter, if we start up an MMA tournament or something, I'll definitely get in it.

Thanks, I forgot to put the rest time in, yep, it is 30 seconds:) As for the tournament idea, I would love to start one, currently, I am going to try the MMA fight concept out on Fallout vs. DNA, but a tournament would be a great idea, especially if the last round culminates at a PPV.

Shade, are you not retired? I hope I can get a tournament cleared in the near future, it probably will have to be after the next PPV, timewise.

I will add this though, it will most likely be invitation only, with a possible qualifying match or two, depending on how many slots I can have.

People with established MMA backgrounds here would first be considered, and then I would most likely consider those who could make a good case for being in a MMA tournament.
So just to say, I would look at any applications filed in this topic, or in a pm, but I would not guarantee a spot for anyone, I am thinking of organizing a small board to plan this out more.
