I recently finished this and am posting it here for people's reference. If you find a mistake or have a match that I should add, please tell me so politely and I will add the match or correct the mistake. That is all. MATCHES LIST177,000 Thumbtacks Deathmatch:There are thumbtacks scattered all around the ring to the point where it is difficult to step anywhere without stepping onto a thumbtack. The goal is to pin or submit your opponent. Seen during the KOTDM tournament. Alcatraz Match:A match that has thus far been used only once, and will likely remain that way, this was a highly brutal match that featured Hunter and Latino. They fought in a prison where the goal of the match was to retrieve a key, knock your opponent senseless, and ultimately lock them into the cell. Asylum Match:This match has been used only once and was originated by Hunter. There are a select number of rings set up backstage, each one surrounded in plexiglass. These rings each have a different gimmick match to them (IE: Cage, First Blood, Tables) and have two people start out in each ring. When one person is eliminated, they must go to another ring and ultimately turn that match into a triple threat or a handicap match, depending on one’s allegiance. Used rarely and can be either a tag team or singles match. Backyard Rules Match:This match starts out in the parking lot and is falls count anywhere and has no ring to use. Weapons are provided and encouraged, and the only way to win is via pinfall or submission. Barbed Wire Boards and Barbed Wire 2x4 Match:A deathmatch where a pinfall must be made via the use of the aforementioned weapons. Seen during the KOTDM tournament. Barbed Wire No Ropes Match:In this barbaric match, the ropes are replaced with barbed wire and the participants use this as an advantage to be able to pin or submit their opponent. Originated by BK London. Barbed Wire Tables Match:The goal in this match is to pin or submit your opponent while using the tables around you as weapons. As a catch, these weapons are wrapped in barbed wire. This match has been used only once in ACW, but the barbed wire tables themselves have shown up in other matches. Blockbuster Match:A match that has taken place only once and featured Davey Marvel and Hunter fighting each other in one of many of ACW’s “joke” matches. They fought in a Blockbuster store where the objective was to use your surroundings to ultimately pin or submit your opponent. Boiler Room Match:This is a match that takes place in the ACW boiler room, and the only way to win this match is by being the first to leave the room via the only door that leads out of it. Bra and Panties Match:In this match, two women (hopefully) start fully clothed. The goal is to strip the other woman to her bra and panties to ultimately win the match. There have been many modifications made to it, and it has gone by other names in the past (Seductive Love Lingerie, for instance). Brass Knuckles on a Pole Match:The rules follow a normal match-up, except there is a pair of brass knuckles hanging from a pole in one of the turnbuckle corners. Competitors are encouraged to use the brass knuckles (and the pole, quite frankly) to further destroy their opponents. Used by RDK a majority of the time. Cage Match:This is a classic match that has been used in wrestling for years. The goal is to use the hellacious cage to your advantage and then climb out of the cage. Another way to win is to pin or submit your opponent in the cage. Certain variations allow only one of the stipulations, but more often both. Capture the Belt Match:In this match, the goal is to climb a 10-oot high ladder and grab the title. Then once the title is on the ground the participant without said title must do anything necessary to get that title. To win the match the person with the title must attempt to escape the 15-foot high steel cage that is encasing the competitors. If at any point one’s feet hit the arena floor outside the cage and one does not have the title, it results in an immediate disqualification. Caribbean Spider Net Match:The point of this match is, as per usual, to pin or submit your opponent. However, there is a barbed wire net outside the ring to help one achieve that goal. Seen during the KOTDM tournament, and then later in the same night featuring a bed of nails. Cell Block Tango Match:This match happened at Samhain ’05 and featured relatively simple rules: the ring is surrounded with a barbed wire cage, and the first person to escape or gain a fall over their opponent is declared the winner. Chain Match:Here, all standard match rules apply except the competitors are chained together by a long chain attached to their ankles with a shackle. Midway down the chain is another chain that can be taken off, which has a metal ball on the end to be used as a flail of some sort. There have been many variations of this match, including the hardcore chain match. Clash of Ideology Match:A match that happened once during a house show, there are no disqualifications and one can only win by making their opponent give up by submission, by knockout, or if the opponent admits at any point that their ideology is inferior. The ideologies represented in the first one were Communism (Joseph Harpo) and Capitalism (Kevin Fitsharris). Crucifixion Match:The goal of this match is to beat your opponent so senseless that you have enough time to lay him or her him against a cross or X (depending on the level of preferred blasphemy) and strap them to it. Once the person is fully and securely “crucified,” the match is over. Devil’s Night Wonder Crush Steel City Flying Nimbus Caribbean Glass Fans Bring the Weapons Hellspawn’s Goblet 2/3 Falls Deathmatch:alphacw.proboards34.com/index.cgi?board=PPV&action=display&thread=1100138268&page=3Reply #40. You figure it out. Doomsday Match:In this match, there is a 14-foot cage surrounding the ring. Surrounding this is a 16-foot octagon shaped cage. The point of the match is to climb to the top of the innermost cage and grab the object for the victory. Once this has happened, the match is over. Originated by Daredevil. Elements of Power Match:This complicated match served as the final match in the AK/Ridley feud that was seen leading up to Samhain ’04, and that would ultimately reveal a shocking secret. The general idea of the match is that there is a large structure around the ring, which will take too long to describe. There are four lanterns and four switches. The two competitors must hit the switches and simultaneously light the lanterns. Once all four lanterns are lit up, only then can a fall be counted. Escape the House Match:This match happened at Spring into Hell and has happened only once, perhaps due to the severe risks involved. Latino and BK London were placed in the attic of a particular house and were given a time limit to escape. The first to escape wins the match. However, if the time limit expires, the house is destroyed via explosives. Unfortunately for the two of them, the time limit did expire…with both of them still in the house.

Fallen Heroes Grand Battle Royale:
This epic 30 man over-the-top-rope match happened at the end of the Fallen Heroes PPV and will continue to be its finish for many years to come. It is a general over-the-top-rope battle royale, where people must be thrown over the top rope and have their feet hit the ground to be eliminated. The last man standing is declared the winner.
Falls Count Anywhere Match:
A match with normal rules (though it can be varied to allow foreign objects), but one can pin or submit their opponent anywhere. And I do mean anywhere (See: Samhain ’04).
Fans Bring the Weapons Deathmatch:
A unique match where competitors are encouraged to use weapons to pin or submit their opponent. In this particular case, however, these weapons are brought by the fans, just as the names suggests, offering up many obscure opportunities for violence.
First Blood Match:
In this match, the competitors are told to do anything necessary to make their opponent bleed. The first person to make their opponent bleed is declared the winner.
Four Corners of Pain Match:
This match has been used twice (both times featuring Bob and Yoko) and generally features four different obstacles in each corner of the ring. These obstacles vary from the highly violent to the highly painful, though often they are both. Using these obstacles, one must submit or pin their opponent.
Fun in the Sun Match:
The ring is scattered with random summer/beach related objects that can be used to help score a pinfall or submission, the ultimate goal of the match.
Gauntlet Match:
In this match, two competitors start in the ring and fight. Once one is eliminated, another enters the ring. This cycles continues until only one is left standing.
Glass House of Pain Match:
In this match, there is a cage surrounding the ring and there are many lighttube related structures and objects scattered around. There is also one pane of glass put in each corner of the ring. The goal is to pin or submit your opponent while using these objects to your advantage. Seen during the KOTDM tournament.
Handcuff Match:
This match is very similar to a chain match, but the key difference is that competitors are handcuffed to each other instead of chained. The same rules for winning apply.
Hardcore Match:
This match can be won by pinfall or submission, but unlike in a no disqualification match, weapons are actually encouraged and placed around the ring for the enjoyment of the fans and competitors. These matches are generally falls count anywhere as well.
Hardcore Haven Match:
This match has been used only once in ACW (and will hopefully never be used again) and was created by Hunter. To begin, the competitors use all of the weapons scattered around the ring to their advantage, so that they can knock out their opponent. When they see the advantage, they must set up a ladder and climb the ladder fifteen feet to get to a “rest area” 15 feet above the ground. This “rest area” is generally just a board that goes three feet into the center of the ring and is attached to the 30-foot tall cage that surrounds the ring itself. Competitors must then climb the side of the cage and shimmy over to the center where they must retrieve whatever is hanging in the center.
Hardcore Havoc Match:
This match was featured on the 2004 Warfare after Halloween, and was used to celebrate that exact Halloween spirit. It was a 12 person hardcore match that abided by normal hardcore rules (AKA: Halloween Hardcore Match).
Hardcore Payphone Match:
This match has happened only three times, was created by Hunter and Daredevil, and is considered by many to be ACW’s greatest “joke match” (many = me and DD). In the first chapter, the match was a simple pin or submission match where random phone related objects where scattered around the ring and encouraged to be used as weapons. The second installment saw the same rules, except this time the turnbuckles were payphone and instead of ropes this match features telephone cords. The third and (so far) final part of this series featured Hunter and Daredevil engaging in fisticuffs in an abandoned train station littered with miscellaneous objects.
Heaven and Hell Match
This match was a 6 woman tag team match, where one team represented heaven and the other hell. It was fought in two rings, each ring representing one of the places previously mentioned. Standard rules apply.
Hell in a Cell Match:
A classic match in wrestling, this match features the ring being surrounded by a large cell. There is just enough room to be able to maneuver your way outside the ring and use any objects you can find to your advantage, as well as the cell. The goal is to pin or submit your opponent in the ring.
Hell in a Cell Evolved Match:
This match has happened only once and was voted the best match of 2004. It featured six competitors, two rings, and one large ass cell. The winner can be decided either by pinfall or submission.
Hell in a Cell Iron Man Match:
This match is another HIAC variation and has also been used only once. In this variation, we are treated to a general HIAC match, except the match is on a time limit and whoever scores the most falls by this time limit is declared the winner.
Hell's Kitchen Match:
A match that happened once between Angelo Giovanni and Daredevil, the two competitors are locked up in a restaurant-style kitchen, and neither are permitted to leave. They are then encouraged to use all of their surrounding objects to secure the pinfall or submission.
High Impact Table Match:
Like a normal tables match, except the only way to win is to put your opponent through a table from a height of ten feet or more. Seen during the KOTDM tournament.
House of Mirrors Match:
In this modified cage match, the only way to win is to escape the cage. However, there are mirrors propped onto the sides of the cage for added confusion (and violence).
I Quit Match:
This is a generally violent match, where the match ends only if one of the competitors says “I Quit” due to the severe beating they have received.
Industrial Revolution Match:
Arguably one of the most violent ACW matches ever, it has happened only once and was originated by Ridley (IE: it will never happen again). There was a large modified cell placed around the ring, and the match was fought under hardcore and falls count anywhere rules. Ridley, the then TV Champ, had to pin one of his opponents (either White Rose or Skurai) whereas the challengers had to pin Ridley and Ridley alone. The match could’ve happened a second time at Omega Effect 2005, but Ridley and Rose decided not to do so.
[Insert Something of Value] vs. Mask Match
This match has been used only twice, with the two objects in question being hair and the Entertainment title. In the match, the goal was to pin or submit your opponent, and the loser would have to relinquish whatever it was they were putting on the line (hair, mask, title, etc).

Iron Man Match:
This is a match that is set with a time limit, and whoever scores the most falls by the time limit is declared the winner. Has many variations.
Japanese Elements Match:
This match saw BladeSeika and Davey Marvel face each other in an interesting match-up. Each ring post had a kendo stick with a Japanese lantern attached to it. There were four sets of ropes, each representing the elements: one set was lit on fire, another was covered in glass (representing water), another was electrified, and the final one was wrapped in thorns. The goal of the match was to use these objects to your advantage and ultimately score a pinfall or submission.
Ladder Match:
In this match, something is hung by a wire from the ceiling (generally a title, but it has been other objects in the past). The only way to win this match is to retrieve whatever object it is that’s hanging from the ceiling. And how would one accomplish this task? Why by climbing a ladder, of course!
Last Man Standing Match:
In this match, anything goes and the general goal is to beat your opponent senseless to the point where they cannot rise to their feet for a count of ten. This match was used for when Hunter and RDK met at Winter Discontent 2005 for the World Title, and was later voted best match of 2005 (you knew that already, didn’t you?)
Leather and Lace Deathmatch:
This was an epic match that happened at Fallen Heroes and saw the White Rose battling Ridley. There is a general no disqualification rule for this match, but the way to win for each competitor is different. Whereas Rose had to submit Ridley, Ridley had to pin Rose without resorting to any strikes, rope breaks, or weapons.
Leather Strap Match:
In this match, competitors are joined by the wrist via a leather strap. The first person to consecutively touch all four ring corners is declared the winner.
Legalized Murder Match:
This match has been used only once, and it was for a specific reason. This match will likely never be used again…unless it’s really necessary. The only way to win is…erm…yes. Come now, you know the rules…
Lighttube Casket Deathmatch:
In this match, the only way to win is to place one’s opponent into the lighttube casket and then destroy it. Seen during the KOTDM tournament.
Lil’ Shop of Horrors Match:
This is a four-tiered steel cage that was used in the finale of the King of the Deathmatch tournament between Ridley and Atomic Kitsune. The goal was to use this cage to your advantage while simultaneously attempting to escape the cage or pin or submit your opponent.
Locker Room Brawl:
In an epic feud for control of their locker room, Bre Double T and Scott Andrews decided to solve their problems through the use of this match. The goal was to throw your opponent out of the locker room and close the door completely, ending up being the only person left in the locker room.
Loser Leaves Town Match:
Though not a frequent match, the stipulation is simple: you lose, you relinquish your job.
Lumberjack Match:
In this match, competitors battle to attempt to secure a pinfall or submission. However, if they are thrown to the outside of the ring, there will be a host of other people to either hurt them more or to help them back into the ring, depending on the circumstances.
Lumberjack Glass Rave Match:
A match that has been used only once, it featured the Bob and Amo Show taking on the team of Hunter and Cage. This was a normal lumberjack match, except the use of lighttubes was highly encouraged.
Mayhem at the Mall Match:
This match has happened once and only once, and will likely remain that way due to the awesomeness of the first. Skurai and Kain were unleashed in a local mall for the enjoyment of all, as it was arguably ACW’s first pure “joke” match. The goal was to pin or submit your opponent by any means necessary.
Mixed Sins Match:
In this match, the ring is set up with a diverse range of torturing tools such as handcuffs, shackles and whips. To top it all off, the ring is surrounded with a barbed wire cage. The first person to be knocked out wins the match.
MMA Match:
Due to the severe confusion the rules of this match provide me with, I shall copy and paste them as Senator described them in one match: “The following contest is a Mixed Martial Arts match, with three rounds of five minutes each with 30 seconds rest between rounds. The participants can win by submission, knockout, disqualification, or decision. Three Judges seated at ringside make the decision based on their trained opinions and a point based system, decisions can be challenged to a higher ACW board if a competitor suspects bias or incompetence on part of the majority decision. For an illegal tactic, the ref issues a verbal warning for the first time, and forces a break, for the second one, sends the offender to their corner and issues a yellow card, for the third, disqualifies the offender with a red card, which is debatable by the ringside judges within 1 minute of the card's issue. No outside interference is allowed, anyone breaking this rule will be suspended immediately from ACW pending review.” If you figured it out, I commend you.
No Disqualification Match:
Though similar to a hardcore match, these matches are different. In a hardcore match, weapons are encouraged whereas in a no disqualification match they are not encouraged, nor are they discouraged. It also provides convenient heel tactics such as low blows and run ins…yet so does a hardcore match. You know what, screw it, they’re different. But then there’s no holds barred…damn it, they’re all somehow different! And I’m not gonna write something for no holds barred when it just means no DQs!
Parental Punishment Match:
This was a series of matches that happened between RDK and his father, Valmont. Through means that I unfortunately could not find (thus someone can correct me here), Valmont had a severe advantage over his son. However, both times RDK was somehow able to pin his father.
Pink Slip on a Pole Match:
This match occurred only once, and it occurred at Omega Effect 2005 between Gooey Garth and Jonny Spade (then known as JonnyG). The first person to retrieve the pink slip hanging on the pole was declared the winner…but simultaneously, the loser must give up their job with ACW.
Poco Loco Extreme Match:
It happened once back when the Poco Locos were together, and now that they're gone, the likeliness it returns is low. The match begins as a ladder match, with the object being to retrieve the metal baseball bat that hangs above the ring. A cage is then lowered over the ring, and the first man to propel his opponent through the cage is declared the winner, and elimination cannot be done by throwing someone OVER the cage.
Posing Contest:
Though perhaps not a classic example of a “match”, it has been highly featured in the ghost of ACW’s past. In this contest, the person to do the best pose in the available time is declared the winner.
Pure Rules Match:
This is a pure rules match, as seen in Ring Of Honor and as copied by Wyvern and used here. Each wrestler has three rope breaks to stop submission holds and pinfalls during the match. After a wrestler exhausts his rope breaks, submission and pin attempts under the ropes are considered legal. There are no closed-fist punches to the face allowed in a pure match, only open-handed slaps or chops to the face are allowed. Punches to other parts of the body (save for low-blows) are permitted. A wrestler is subject to a twenty count by the referee if the wrestler goes to the floor. Victory is obviously secured by submission or pinfall.

Russian Chain Match:
This match is very similar to a leather strap match, except the competitors are secured together via chain instead of leather strap. Victory is achieved via pinfall.
St. Elmo’s Belt Match
This is a modification of the chain match, where the two competitors (in this case Latino and Torak) are strapped to each other via the waist. The same rules still apply as in a normal chain match.
Senatorial Stipulations Match:
This match has happened only once, but both of the original competitors (Hunter and the Senator) have stated that they wouldn’t mind doing the match again with different people (Senator more so than Hunter). In this match, the goal is to score two consecutive falls of a different type (IE: pinfall followed by submission, count-out followed by pinfall). If a competitor scores a pinfall, and then the other scores a pinfall, then the first must go back to square one and attempt to score another two in succession. There are no foreign objects or cheap shots allowed, and the extra referees at ringside will make sure of that. Whoever violates these rules will get, as the Senator so delicately put, Orton'd.
Singapore Cane Match:
A general hardcore match where the most prominently featured weapon is a Singapore cane. The objective is to pin or submit your opponent.
Skyscraper of Hell Match:
This is yet another one of the “one time only” matches, and it featured Bladeshadow and Pdogg fighting for the World Championship. There was a three-story cage set up in the ring, with the entrance to each story being opened every 20 minutes. The two fought under no DQ rules and the overall goal was to make it to the top of the roof and climb up a 20-foot flagpole and retrieve the title that was hanging on it, though for this match Blade’s fiancée Raye was also hung. After a grueling match, Blade came out on top and retrieved both his title and fiancée.
Snowball Fight:
In this diva match, the first person to hit your opponent 10 times with a snowball is declared the winner.
Steel Chair Symphony Match:
This match was originated by TNT and had him face Latino and RDK in two separate matches, both of very good quality. It is generally a no DQ and no count-out match that goes for one fall, but the key difference is that steel chairs are highly encouraged.
Street Fight:
Though it’s similar to a hardcore match, it’s not…somehow. The general idea is to pin your opponent through any means necessary, and places more emphasis on strikes and fighting over wrestling. Because believe it or not, you'll find more actual wrestling in a hardcore match than a street fight.
Submission Match:
This is a normal match where the only way to win is to make your opponent submit.
Tables Match:
In this match, the only way for one to win is to send their opponent through a table by any means necessary. This has been modified in many manners, but the tag team variation remains the most frequent.
Tag Team Turmoil Match:
Two tag teams start in the ring and battle until one has come out victorious. Then, another team enters and fights the winners of the previous match. This cycle continues again and again until one team is left standing.
Taipei Deathmatch:
In this match, tape is rolled onto the hands of the competitors and they must then place their hands into a barrel of broken glass. After this, the goal is to pin or submit your opponent. Seen during the KOTDM tournament.
Terror in the Zoo Match:
This match was another one of ACW’s trademark “joke” matches. It was very similar to Mayhem at the Mall, but it featured the two competitors (Wolf and Predator) facing each other in the zoo.
Three Strikes And You’re Out Match:
This match was the finale of the early 2005 feud between BK London and RDK. The goal of the match was to score a pinfall, submission, and knockout (in that order) onto the opponent to win the match.
TLC Match:
This match is generally a ladder match, but it features more emphasis on tables and chairs to be used in the match itself.
Tomb of Pain Match:
This featured Daredevil facing Jack McCarty in a 20 by 20 by 20 foot “tomb”. The only way to win the match was to escape the tomb by climbing through a hole in the ceiling. And the only way to get to this hole was via a ladder that is in the center of the tomb itself.
Two/Three Falls Match:
This match is generally followed through normal rules, but it has been modified to support other rules. The first person to score two falls of any type wins the match.
Two/Three Lighttube Tables Deathmatch:
To win this match, you must put your opponent through two of the tables to be victorious. Seen during the KOTDM tournament.
TXC Match:
This is basically an ultimate X match, but chairs and tables are thrown in for good measure. Was used only once at Bloody Valentine 2005.
Ultimate X Match:
In this match, there are poles coming up from each of the turnbuckle corners. Then there are ropes that connect each pole to the pole opposite it, so that the shape from the top looks like an X. In the center an object is hung, and the objective is to use the ropes to shimmy over to the object and retrieve it.
Unlucky 13 Match:
A deathmatch where the goal is to staple 13 dollar bills to any part of your opponent by way of the staple gun found in the center of the ring. Seen during the KOTDM tournament.
Vibrator on a Pole Match:
…well I was told to do EVERYTHING. You figure out the rules for yourself…

That's not a chain match. Chain match is a chain connecting to the feet by a shackle, and midway down the chain is another chain that can be taken off, which has a metal ball on the end to be used as a flail of some sort. I've drawn a diagram.
