I'd agree with you about The Wall, actually. Queen II is possibly the most underrated album of all time, it utterly rapes any other Queen album that ever existed, even Night At The Opera (which IMO is only Queen's 5th best album). But then Queen were never really about albums as such, so I'll agree that Floyd had stronger albums. I'm just not a fan of concept albums. At all. And as for the case for Oasis. Well, they're the best band to have formed in the past 30 years perhaps, and if you deny the fact that at minimum they're one of the best bands Britain has seen in the past 30 years, then you're being ignorant

March of the Black Queen > anything Pink Floyd have ever done. I'm basing that in my vastly superior Music knowledge and taste. You, sir, have earned the world's first "HA! x3" The Wall as a stand alone album defeats every piece of music ever created in general, much less what Queen has done. Your knowledge is non-existant because you don't listen to every genre (and even if you claim you do, I doubt you listen to obscure ones, so your knowledge of that would obviously be non-existant). And your taste...wait, you like Oasis. I kinda win by default. Just noticed this now. You say that, but Queen alone have covered every main genre apart from hiphop/rap anyways. So take that! You only say that because you're Hunter's bitch. You know what Dan, fuck off for that. Just because I like Hunter's work when no one else seemingly does, doesnt make me his bitch. And also, thanks for assuming that I cant form my own opinions. Before I even starting coming to ACW, I have liked Floyd more then Queen. Quit being a fucking asshat just because people have a different opinion from yours. And yeah, that was going to far. But like you're the only person who openly expresses himself as a mark to anyone, nobody in the fed exposes themself as a mark to another person like that. Not slating you, but it makes you an easy target >_> But seriously, I apologise for my comment. It was out of order. AND, I'm not going to argue on the board anymore whilst intoxicated.

Hunter... The whole "I listen to more music than you so my opinion matters more" thing isn't really helping your "I'm not elitist" case. It's not really being elitist, because I'm not saying "my opinion matters more." Dan is. I never claim to have a superior opinion, everyone just always assumes that's what I'm saying. All I ever say is "I listen to more music than you," sans the last part of what you wrote. So yeah. And I'm rather certain, Daniel, that Queen has not covered EVERY genre outside of rap. I don't recall much metal (although Death on Two Legs was a sort of flirtation with it), country, or techno from them. However, I'll give you that Oasis was one of the more important bands to form within the last thirty years. Not the best, since that's a matter of opinion. Radiohead was better, in my opinion.

A lot of Queen's stuff is metal, you just have to search deeper to find it. "Tie Your Mother Down" and "Hammer To Fall" show this. I'll accept that Pink Floyd wrote songs better, I just find Queen's massive diversity and talent (there's no denying Mercury and May and amongst the best at what they do) to be a better product. And for the record, Black Queen is a song, not an album.

I know that, I just used the Wall as an example because I treat it as one very, very long song. And I agree, May's a good guitarist, and anyone who doesn't think that Mercury is one of the best singers in the world is fucking tone deaf. However, a lot of Queen's stuff is not metal, it's more akin to hard rock, or at best, "early metal." And...yeah, I think we're done.

Yeah, ok. But metal isn't even my favourite genre, never has been. So umm. Yeah.
Criticism writing-wise? >_>
