Ok, I think our writers need a bit more attention for their fine work around here. All too often, we'll put together a fine feud, match, or segment, only to have it seemingly go unnoticed by 90% of the people around here.
This topic will take a necessary step towards alleviating that problem.
The general rules are this: 1. You can either point out things that you saw and liked, and want others to see, much as I did with the Moment of the Show(which I'll be bringing back in the new year on a more consistent basis). 2.You can also post stuff here of your own if you want people to take special notice of it, but do try to be careful not to overuse these posts. 3. And thanks to BK, you can also generally give an overview of what you like about the individual styles of people, too.

Shawn: We've grown to be friends over the past year, and over the past year I have grown to look past the wall of italics (even though they have gone dramatically down since the introduction of Chance and Umeko) and I've grown to actually enjoy it. It's so different that mine, and I guess it's refreshing to read things from a different perspective. We've worked with like, one segment together in the past like what - two years? I hope we can do that again in the near future. Rattlesnake: Cocky son bitch. You were thinking about coming into ACW as a face, but now I can't even begin to believe how you were going to pull that off. You make me confident that with me returning as a face, you will step over as top heel and make people hate you as genuinely as they hate me. You're writing is amazing and you're always prepared, we need more people like you. Scott Andrews: Big fan of your character Scott. Over the past few months, I have watched you blossomed into a bonafide main eventer. You remind me of me about a year ago, and if you ever win the big one I know you're going to be a hit as champion. I love your dedication to ACW, and your creative mind. Kudo Yasuda: Truly a big fan of your character aswell. Ever since you have entered ACW and immediately took it by storm with you dedication to writing, I just have been drawn to your character. You have the ability to write great segments and even better matches, I would love to feud with you in the near future. You always have great ideas and with your vast knowledge of ACW I hope I could feud with you in the future. Latino: One of the more versatile writers on the roster. You can switch it up from making me truly believe in your character with a serious promo, or have my side splitting in laughter from your comical segments. While you have been here from the start, you are definitely one of the underrated writers in ACW IMO and I've enjoyed every time we tear it down in the ring. Jake Cheng: Oh Jakey boy. People may not know this, and you probably don't know either, but you are IMO one of the most creative minds in ACW. I know on several occassions when we were fishing for ideas for segments, you would just pop up with a classic one and we'd be saved. You are another underrated writer in ACW, sure sometimes your writing doesn't really showcase your real talent, but I know first hand if you really focus you can belt out some of the best promos/segments in ACW. Atomic Kitsune: What can I say that already hasn't been said? Arguably one of the best writers in ACW history. Your writing is so compelling and captivating. I love reading your segments and I really hope I can write like you one day. Starkweather: While you say your segments are constantly not read and overlooked, I can't help but read them to see what you've got up your sleeve. You are a great writer and I'm sure some of the other people on the roster, when they actually read your segments, will find that out too.

Since the majority of the good writers know they're good writers, I'll give props to those who may not realize their talents, or at least don't get praised for them often:
Jake: You rule. I can truly say I've never had any of my feuds go so smoothly as they have with you. We never argued about what should and shouldn't happen, and what you brought to the table was excellent. And when you do things individually, they generally make me laugh as well. Keep at it, Hebrew Hammerz for life.
Freeman: While there is room for improvement (much like with everyone else), your promos are all very creative and fun to read. If you work out the various kinks, you could be a terrific writer in no time. But stop asking questions. >.>
Scott: Holy snap, where did you learn to be human greatness? If I read your first promo of 2006 and then your last promo of 2006...it seems like two completely different people wrote it, and that's good. Your feud with Kudo was terrific, one of the best of last year. I'll be honest with you, I never really saw you as a main eventer/World Title contender, but now I'm almost confident you'll have the big one by the end of the year.

Heh, since we don't have any actual ACW programs up right now, BK did me a big favor, keeping this topic alive until we do.

I'll be posting the Moments of the Show in here from now on, along with the other stuff.
Now that I have the time, I can once again resume...[glow=red,2,300]The Senator's Moment of the Show![/glow]
An excellent conclusion to a well planned storyline. Biff came off perfect here, not too formal, but still a smart businessman.
And because it had to be done...
Moment #2 is a no-brainer if there ever was one. Welcome back, TNT:)

I have in my posesson a very long review for half of the show. I'd post it if I didn't not want to leave people out.
Starting with the next show, I'll pick out my favorite segments and give shorter reviews of others. Over.

This week, I'll start a new thing, the Match of the Week, appreciating high quality matches in the course of the week. This week's a no brainer: Non-Title Champ vs. Champ Match Chance Emmerson vs. Kudo Yasuda (Credit: Shawn) alphacw.proboards34.com/index.cgi?board=Mondaymassacre&action=display&thread=1168292722&page=2#1168294378Read it or weep, the intro alone is longer than some other feds average matches, and gives you some much needed insight into the competitors. The action itself moves fast, but is quite a lengthy, meaty read. This match went above and beyond what it had to do, and for that, it earns my first show of the week honors.
