This board has been made for the benifit of us all. As writers we all have flaws. I, for one, suck at grammer somettimes and I cannot write conversations very well. Through the use of constructive criticism we can improve the quality of our writing and the overall quality of our fed.

As we can all tell now, the true purpose of this board is for people to fish for complements on their work from the Bizarro show:)

The purpose of this board should be for people to use it more often, and give criticisms instead of ignoring new users who post here for advice/feedback on their work, honestly. That goes for the more hardened members who wanted feedback on their work and got barely any serious responses in return too.

If you want my advice, I'd rather have you come to AIM or MSN and ask me instead of doing it in front of the entire fed.

My opinion of this board is that you shouldn't have to beg for feedback.

I think we should all start doing what Dan's been doing and Steele too sometimes, going through the show making notes on stuff...it's always good to see something about yourself even if it's just a small sentence.
If I wasnt usually like two shows behind Id do it too and when I catch up I will

I agree. I used to do it all the time and sometimes it helped the shows... sometimes it just caused problems with the "brutally honest" moments.

But the "brutally honest" moments can shape us up to be better in the future. If I was writing an angle and I got criticism saying that it was one of my weaker moments and very few people were interested, I'd be a bit hurt, but I'd have incentive to work on that and do something that people are interested in. That's not to say you go "hey man your work sucks" though. And you have to remember that some people take criticism differently. As a journalist I take it with a pinch of salt.
