The build was so awful I had no expectations at all but that show was awesome!
I loved it. That main event was amazing and I marked out SO HARD at the ending.
Only thing I didn't like was Taker/Wyatt

Next time Steve, follow your own advice. Last night was McMahon giving himself one last, final, sloppy blowjob.

I love the dramatic music in that video WM was fine, it exceeded my expectations but my expectations were extremely low. Nothing stood out to me other than Sting being buried and Seth cashing in, which to me is by far the best WM ever

Let it be known that this is all "shame on me" for actually thinking they would give this man a proper send off. I just never imaged Vince still holding onto a major grudge like this 15 years later against a guy who never badmouthed WWE, and instead just worked to make a living. The outcome is what it is, but it was the commentary during the match, commentary that is still piped in through headsets via Vince, that really drew my ire. JBL was relentless, which is his job, but even Cole piled on.
I cannot wait to find out as time passes if he knew this was the outcome all along. Something tells me he did not and expected a grand sendoff and heard about the match result at the last minute. His demeanor during the intro was of a man who did not want to be there.
I do not know what type of contract he signed, but if he is obligated to wrestle elsewhere, I expect him to go to TNA for a final proper send off. A big part of me thinks he regrets ruining his legend of being the only major guy to not step foot in a WWE ring - all for what turned out to be a sham.
Wyatt losing was also horseshit. If it were not for the MitB cash in at the end, this Mania would have sucked.
I am telling anyone who reads this, as we watched the conversation of how we need another major competing federation kept coming up again and again. The WWE is too stacked and so many guys are not getting their limelight as a result. Vince can blow his load over what happened, but I sure damn well regret that there is no more WCW. I sure damn well regret that TNA never went anywhere. I sure damn well regret we are stuck with no other major options - and I bet a ton of the boys in the back do, too.
Competition is good for the consumer, the workers and it worked wonders in the 90's. I sure hope it happens again sometime.

This Mania would never have sucked, it was an awesome Mania with or without the Cash-in
Yes Wyatt losing sucked and the match also sucked so that made me mad.
But besides that?
Great opening ladder match Rollins/Orton was awesome as well (that RKO at the end was mind-blowing. A thing of beauty)
Sting/HHH...well we're going to have to agree to disagree here because as somebody who never watched WCW and only watched TNA I've never liked Sting, and I've never enjoyed a Sting match. I did however, enjoy this match, so I give props to WWE for booking it in an entertaining way instead of having just a standard match between the two. As for the result, I don't mind it. HHH has more to offer than Sting does to me, and this gives HHH a lot of credibility back. HHH spent last year jobbing to Bryan and the Shield, this win makes it so he can look like a threat in the future and not just say that he hasn't won a match in two years. HHH has been tearing it up for two years now as an amazing heel so I'm happy he got a win even if it was unexpected, and wouldn't sit so well with fans of Sting.
Divas match was good
Cena/Rusev was awesome. I loved Rusev in this match, he looked badass the entire time. Sure he lost, but that was expected, and he came out looking so strong.
Wyatt/Taker did indeed suck
Reigns/Lesnar was phenomenal, one of the best Mania main events, the crowd was into every single move, this match was just awesome...then the ending put it over the top. But even without the cash-in I loved this match and both men's performance.
It's very rare for a WM to have only one bad moment and that was Wyatt/Taker. The rest was awesome. A very good 8/10 or 8.5/10. On par with last year's almost

Wyatt wasn't going to win and it makes sense that he didn't. WWE has built up Brock as this crazy dominant character and having Wyatt win would have cheapened Brock's victory as well as make Taker look worthless.

Which is why they should just never have done the match in the first place, because honestly no matter which way you book it nobody wins as neither could afford to lose. And the only other reason to book it would be to have an amazing feud with their similar characters or to have an awesome match, and we got neither, so really the whole thing was a pointless affair that had no upside possible.

While we're talking about Bray Wyatt, has this guy ever won a meaningful feud? He lost to Cena, he lost to Taker, I know he beat Bryan at RR14 but the whole point of that feud was for Bray to make Bryan turn and join the Wyatt family and it didn't happen, has he ever won ANYTHING meaningful? He beat Ambrose because of a Looney Tunes style exploding TV and that's really it.

Wyatts beat Shield I think every time they fought. He beat Jericho, and also he beat Ambrose not just in that match, but also on Raw in the blowoff ambulance match (also cleanly)
