As a way to build up some hype and backstory to the reunion show, it might be a good idea to refresh/educate ourselves of our history within ACW, both in and out of character. There are a few names involved that I am unfamiliar with and would love to know more about them. There are also some involved that I would love to learn what I missed.
Only a simple and brief run-down of what you did and what your characters achieved during your tenure during the golden years. I know this may be more in-depth for some of you, but try to focus on the more significant moments.
I guess I'll start, as a guide as I noticed some mention that they had heard about Torak but didn't really know much about him;
25th November 2004 - Torak and Cordelia debut segment in ACW - I was placed straight into the Upper-Midcard after impressing the Mods with a detailed CV and RP samples
29th November 2004 - DQ'd in match vs RDK and 'fired' by Gingerdude for not having the "X-Factor"
December 2004 - Torak returned to disrupt a #1 contenders match for World Championship, causing a no-contest and subsequently leading to the epic 6-man title match at Winter Discontent
2005 - Entered into a feud with Latino which culminated in a St. Elmos Belt Match. Latino won. Torak then promptly disappeared - In reality, I had just been promoted to full-time hours so time was limited
January 2006 - A series of disturbing 'Home Videos' exhibiting Latino's home and personal life were scattered throughout the shows all month. A vindictive stalker was partially revealed in the final video before Torak returned (without Cordelia) to attack Latino at Ragnarok. This sparked the vicious personal feud between the two.
February 2006 - Justin Jehst, who had recently debuted as the plucky underdog, is violently attacked and kidnapped by Torak. He was held as a hostage and used as a mouthpiece for the increasingly deranged and disturbed Torak. He was eventually rescued by Latino.
16th February 2006 - I created, planned and put together the Domino Effect show, in which all segments (bar a couple from Kudo) were linked to one event and culminated with a clusterfuck in the ring. - I was prevented from actually posting the show due to severe computer problems, leading to the ACW meme: 'Torak = E-Slut'
Torak beat Senator in a match, my proudest win to date.
March 2006 - Torak kidnapped two ACW fans and held them hostage and tortured them for weeks. Their fate was never revealed. Torak continued to show more erratic and unnerving behaviour in his segments.
April 2006 - Torak beat Hitman for the right to enter 1st in the Fallen Heroes Rumble. Despite starting first, Torak made it to the final 3 before being eliminated by Latino, reigniting the fury that Torak had for Latino.
May 2006 - Latino and Torak became embroiled in increasingly violent confrontations until their feud culminated with a brutal real street fight which lasted the entire show. At 12,000+ words, it was the longest match in ACW history at the time (I don't know if that record has been broken)
June-July 2006 - Torak drifted from ridiculous story to ridiculous story. First being partnered in a comedy tag team with Hunter then was visited by his 'future self'. ACW management could find nothing else to do with Torak and so released him. - Kayfabe version: I earned another promotion at work and had more responsibilities to prioritize.
Torak's last match was, fittingly, against Rattlesnake - the man who had faced Torak in the first match of his career. Rattlesnake won the match.
Late 2009 - Cordelia returned to claim ACW had murdered Torak. She vowed to bring ACW down from the inside in retribution. She was joined by the Diverse Morality stable which included her Brother, Chris; Cyda White and Torak's brother Jack Veracious. - After about 3 months it hit me how difficult it was juggling the responsibility of writing with my personal life and submitted to the fact that I could not do it anymore.
So, there you have it. Torak (and friends) in a nutshell. This turned out to be longer than I expected so I'm sure most of you guys will be more detailed. Bring it on, I say. There is so much I want to know about everybody's history.
