You know I never had a problem with the calc system. I just thought that if I wrote a lot that I would probably end up winning, which is what usually happened.
I was never too concerned about wins and loses because I believe every single story that I was involved in had set results that didn't even needs calcs to apply to. It was always something like "Okay, we're gonna do a 3 month thing: I'll win the first one, some sort of DQ on the second and you win the third then we'll move on."
The only time that I was concerned about the calcs was when FSX and Thunderkiss fought Me and Mark. We wanted to win so bad and I think we did(?) I don't really remember. But honestly that could've been a conspiracy against Ken at the time anyway.

Goddamnit the feud between the Untouchables and the Senatorial Stable between December 2005-April 2006 was some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen. Literally between January and March every single title were held by nobody else but someone in either stable. A proper Cold War-style feud as well, because although we'd fight in singles competition and stuff there was never the great big standoff between the two stables.
Untouchables comprised of me, Davey Marvel, Jake Cheng, Jonny Spade, Tornado (to become Jack Jefferson), Mr. Red and Wyvern, briefly. The Senatorial Stable of the time comprised of Senator, Hunter, Santiago, Scott Andrews, NBK, Rena, FSX and had a union with the R-3 (Kudo, Bre Double T and Jearus).
Wondrous times. The SS had more star power and probably ultimately won out in the feud (well they lasted the test of time, so yeah they did win), but it was really fun. Plus we won stable of the year in 2005 and then only didn't get nominated in 2006 cos Hunter ran that Awards Show (and I got kicked off the committee for doing what I do). That's probably the greatest conspiracy this place has seen.

Still, it is nice to say that when it came time for the ACW HOF, I was on that committee and a certain name came up that had credentials that should have made them a lock. When the name popped up, it was rejected because you can have all the credentials you want, but you gotta earn them. Screwing people left and right was not forgotten.

Goddammit I found them but all the links are dead. Freeman you must have them saved. I believe in you. You mean the Rep and Freeman show ones? The ones that everyone was on at the beginning and then that got ignored so people could yell at me more? <_< Not saying what was said about Mainer was right, but just that everybody seems to have some very selective memory about the rest of the podcasts and my role in it.

I would definitely be up for a reunion show. Could possibly be an opportunity to finally tie up all the Torak/Diverse Morality stuff that was left at a loose end.
Hell, I'd even be interested in a monthly, quarterly or yearly reunion/programme.
If it were to happen, who would be in and, more importantly who would definitely be out?

Truth be told I think most of us are fine with not doing this anymore, but I think the interest is there if we did a yearly reunion type show. If something like this is done, you have to give people time to sign up and do their stuff, and I am talking about months here because that is what type of priority it would be for most. I think we should make a sign up post and give people a month to sign up. Then we get a final name list and have people book their own matches. Those who don't would be assigned.

Perhaps I can shed some light on the subject regarding me. There isn't much to tell from my end. I do appreciate the kind words and the show of respect towards me. The whole thing with Wyvern, even though it is as y'all have said, I don't hold any grudges or any resentment to the mods at the time. Was I upset that I didn't win? Of course. Nobody likes to lose a big match like that. In all honesty, that was my closest chance to winning the title.
I didn't voice my opinion very often. I probably should have here. What's done is done, can't go back and change it. Looking back though...had I said anything, would it have looked like I was bitching to try and get my way or trying to correct an injustice? I cannot say one way or the other.
After that...well...I had trouble trying to stay active. But I wasn't completely honest back then and I'll set the record straight now.
I could have been active. I just lost the drive to roleplay. I wanted to work harder, but the more I tried, the harder it became. Everybody needs time to recharge their batteries and regain the motivation and the drive to do better. It became increasingly difficult as the years went by, being a part of this fed. I would fall off the face of the internet world for months at a time. I was working a lot, so that kept my mind on other things. I did have some personal drama that really fucked with my mind. I recently had a repeat of that a year ago. But there's the truth after all this time. I never took the responsibility of my actions then, but I'm taking them now. As good as you all viewed me as...I'm not the best of people, but I'm also not the worst.
Regarding boosting points for Flower Power...that's not accurate. Sarin and Yoko wanted that angle with me. They felt it was a way to help boost me up in calcs to help me get the World Title, like with others Yoko helped along the way. But, as stated in the last paragraph, I lost my drive. I did what I could though. There was a match that Yoko wanted in the final show and it was to be against me. We'd been talking about it for days. We even planned out who was going to win that final match, but the match never happened. I don't think it ever will either and I'm fine with that, but I can say that we were planning for the streak to end. We figured what a way to close out our feud and have something memorable happen all at the same time. Cause honestly, the streak ending would have been remembered by those reading it for a long time, because it would have been one of those moments that would just blow your mind.
Aside from all that, I've been enjoying life as best I can. I joined up with a gaming community and I stream games every now and then. I've been playing Final Fantasy XIV for the last...oh...15 or 16 months and I've enjoyed every minute of it. If any of you play and are on Cactuar, feel free to add me. My in-game name is Francis Drake. I've also been working, but that's pretty much a given.
I do miss being around here and I should try to be a bit more active...and I do mean that.
