So since I've left ACW I've moved back to ny state. I've changed jobs but have learned a lot more about building websites. It can be stressful but still enjoyable. I'm engaged and looking to buy instead of renting.
I'm also thinking of starting my own company...I just need to find the right idea and passion for it. Sometimes I look back at when I helped start ACW and realized I had so much passion for it and enjoyment. It's tough to find that spark again but I'm hoping to find it again.

Congrats on the engagement. I think for me, the spark is coming back. I've joined up with some friends and a gaming community that casts on iNSTAGIB.tv and they have an e-fed. It has 3 rosters, uses WWE '12 (soon to be WWE '13), makes use of the promo system, uses a dice-roll system for certain shows/events and other stuff. It has a free roster and the two main rosters are subscription-based. I recently joined the free one to give it a try. If I like how it goes, I can fork over the $20 for a full year. If I don't like it too much, I haven't lost anything. Anyone that wants to check it out, let me know and I'll post the link to the casting page and the e-fed page.

Start a wrestling promotion.

I graduated with a Bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering, and found a job doing some programming for a finance company.
Freeman, if you dislike the discussions its going to be hard to keep a job in all honesty, a lot of times I'm called on to do something theoretical like write a regular expression or something, and if that doesn't interest you, you probably won't be too motivated on the job. That's not to say that all CS guys are serious, I see the exact opposite on a daily basis. Just the other day someone was audibly listening to Epic Rap Battles of history...in a finance office XD.
Though, I don't know how you feel about hardware, but if CS isn't cutting it for you, maybe try something along the lines of electrical engineering? It's more hands on, that is a lot less talk about abstract things and a lot more doing something. Just something to consider.

Well I hope so...I feel like I'm kind of a lost cause. I really am not interested in much besides video games, TV shows, and pro wrestling. Im kind of shallow and pathetic for that I suppose <_<. I enjoyed high school but in college mostly I just like the psych and humanities courses which in the long run considering Im a CS major isnt that useful. I think Im just going to have to accept that my good days are over and now life's going to beat the hell out of me >_>

Let see, when ACW closed, I was entering my second semester of my freshman year at Temple University, I was enjoying college and doing well in school, my teachers were nice and I had a gig lined up for the following semester at the school run radio doing late night sports stuff.
And then I took off the rose color glasses I was given when I got to Temple. I started to see the classes they made me take because I had to take them before I took classes that actually affect my future, had nothing to do with my career. One class was how to analyze a political campaign from start to end. Another was knowing the day to day history of America. That is great stuff to know, but as a sports broadcaster, in an interview, the guy will not ask me to break down Mitt Romney's campaign so far or what happen on April 26th 1924. So I stopped going to those classes through withdrawment. The college life also wasn't as great as it started to become just like high school for me: I'm playing peacemaker between two people fighting for dumb ass reasons. And I was told due to my 2.8 GPA, I wouldn't be allowed a show during the next semester, yet my friend who had a 2.5 GPA was.
Top it all off, I became ineligible for a few loans that the school helped me get so I had to go through a third discover student loans who sent the money to Temple, but Temple said they never got it and for three months after the deadline for tuition they got it, saying they never checked my file prior the day after the deadline that they received the money before it, keeping the extra 750 dollars of charges for late tuition and the hold on my schedule. I dropped out the next day after they told me.
A buddy hooked me up with a job at a cemetery where I make good money for a 20 year old, combined with weekends at the grocery store, I make a good amount in a week. I found a trade school for broadcasting that was recommended to me by a few programming directors I met while in school, I'm going there in Novemember and hopefully after that I start my career as a sports radio DJ.

Where am I?
Let's see, two year varsity starter on the men's volleyball team at my university, Financial Model Developer and Systems Integration Analyst for an energy company (basically I make VorteX look useless while still giving him a job - I'm charitable like that), Dean's list the past two years academically, and Vice President of the Student Union because it means I drink for free.
There's other shit but I think it'd just make VorteX and Freeman look like even bigger wastes of space when they realize I did that along with everything else. Needless to say - Danny Mainer's very proud of me and I imagine Mr. White can figure out what it is by trolling facebook.
