Returning from commercial break, the bell tolls and we're set for action. Freeman and Phenomenal come out of there respective corners and begin to circle each other. Freeman looks for an opening but Chris simply looks to assert himself by locking up with Freeman and then quickly switching to a side head lock gaining control at the start. Freeman tries to break free of the hold and does so by pushing Chris off and sending him into the ropes. Chris comes back and Freeman looks for a drop toe hold but Chris has it scouted and simply stops before dropping down and looking to grab hold of Freeman's ankle for the Victory Lock II submission normally used by Senator Steven Phillips.
Edison: “That'd be cruel irony, Chris Phenomenal beating Senator's compatriot in Ascendancy with his own submission hold.”
McNally: “You have to recall the time Chris spent training under Phillips though. You have to think Phillips imparted as much wisdom as possible onto Freeman but Chris is also likely to know exactly what sort of offence Senator and Freeman have put in place to face him.”
Freeman scrambles away as quickly as possible before Chris can get the hold in, but this doesn't stop Phenomenal from going right after him. Getting to his feet, Chris grabs hold of Jason by the belt loops on his faded jeans as he tries to scramble out of the ring, pulling him up to his feet Chris whips him into the corner and then goes charging in after, scoring with a corner clothesline. Freeman feels it and stumbles out of the corner slightly but Chris throws him back in before raising his hand into the air, looking at it for a moment, before coming in with a massive diagonal chop right to the chest of Freeman.
Freeman looks to get away from Chris but his attempts are futile and only result in a second, third, fourth and fifth chop before finally the referee gets involved, breaking the two up. Freeman tries to duck out of the ring and regain his composure, caught off guard by the aggressive onslaught from the oft-meticulous Chris Phenomenal, but Chris simply side steps Raymond Flemming, referee in charge this evening and pulls Freeman back to the center of the ring. Whipping Freeman across into the ropes, Chris connects with a stiff running elbow coming off the other side before hitting the other ropes and scoring with a senton splash across the chest of Freeman. Reaching back he hooks the leg and makes the cover.
...1 ...2
NO! Freeman slips the left shoulder out the back door breaking up the count.
McNally: “Chris Phenomenal has come out of the gate with authority here and looking at him, he seems more focused and less distanced than he has ever since he lost the ACW title to Danny Mainer.”
Edison: “Yes, but this is different than fighting some psychotic wack job Maxxy, this is the greatest prize in wrestling that we're fighting for. Alicia Kitsune, BK London, Chance Emmerson, the best in the world have always been the holder of the ACW World Heavyweight Title.”
Chris gets to his feet and keeps the offensive going, pulling Freeman up with him and dragging him towards the corner, before lifting him up onto the top turnbuckle in a seated position. He fires a big punch to the head, but Freeman shows life in blocking it and firing back with one of his own. The two men begin to exchange blows before finally Freeman throws himself backwards off the turnbuckle, using the ropes to maintain his balance and connecting with a kick to the unsuspecting jaw of Chris Phenomenal. Freeman begins to pull himself back into the ring and as Chris recovers, going back after Freeman is caught as Freeman takes Chris over the top rope with a headscissors take down and in the process slides back into the ring.
Chris doesn't seem hurt by the fall but as he turns around to get back into the ring he is caught by a soaring Jason Freeman who lands right across his chest and takes him down into the barricade with a cross body block. The wrestling purists applaud the move but the otherwise partisan crowd is split. Freeman takes a moment or two to compose himself before getting to his feet and grabbing hold of Chris Phenomenal and pulling him up to a single knee. Near the announce table, Freeman grabs hold of his title belt and holds it in front of the face of Chris for a moment, still trying to collect himself, before slapping the taste out of his mouth.
McNally: “An absolute blatant show of disrespect there by Jason Freeman.”
Edison: “He's the champion though Eddie. He's earned the right to do that by making it to the top of ACW.”
McNally: “Yes, but Chris Phenomenal is a former champion and lest I remind you, the man who eliminated Jason Freeman last to win Fallen Heroes this year.”
Edison: “Yes, and that was also the last time he won a match Eddie.”
The insult though serves the opposite purpose intended by Jason Freeman, instead simply firing Chris Phenomenal up. Surging forward like a linebacker, Chris wraps his arms around Freeman and drives him right into the ring apron back first as the referee count reaches seven on the outside. Chris pauses for a moment, looks directly into the eyes of Jason Freeman before spitting right in his face and sliding back into the ring pulling Freeman with him. Freeman looks across at Chris and the two begin to brawl in and around the rope, neither man able to get to a solid base before being taken down by the other, the match delving into a straight up fight until Raymond Flemming jumps in and takes a few licks in order to get the men separated.

This only lasts for a moment though before the two come together collar and elbow, looking to exert there will on each other. Both men have the same idea though and stick their thumb in the eye of the other, causing them to pull apart and clutch their respective faces for a moment as referee Raymond Flemming looks on in confusion.
McNally: “We've got a pair of one eyed pirates in the ring.”
Edison: “I don't think that's exactly what you want to say Maxxy.”
McNally: “No it is, hopping around with ...”
Edison: “Look it up on Urban Dictionary after the show Max.”
Both men recover their vision at the same time and have the same move in mind, likely from the hours spent in the gym with Phillips. Phenomenal has the strength advantage and his clothesline packs a little more punch, taking Freeman down to the canvas before he can feel the full effects of Freeman's shot. Immediately Chris jumps onto him in a full mount and begins to wail away with fisticuffs until Raymond Flemming breaks that up too. Freeman gets no reprieve though as again, Chris sidesteps Raymond, grabs Jason and whips him into the turnbuckle before turning flipping him over with a big back body drop, and then goes right into a seated head lock, looking to constrict the air ways of Freeman.
Jason tries to fight his way out of the hold, eventually making it to the side. He has a few tricks up his sleeve and instead of trying to get to his feet, takes the single upright leg of Chris Phenomenal out with his own then rolls back into the hold, pulling Chris into a quick gogoplata. The crowd marks for the escapery of Freeman as Chris quickly realizes that letting go of his hold is the only way to break free of Freeman's. He does so, but shows that Freeman isn't the only one who has benefited from the submission training of Senator, backing out of the shin choke, before flipping the right leg of Freeman over, forcing him onto his stomach and immediately into the Tax Cut, the single leg crab hold. Chris isn't done there though as the free leg outside of the hold works as a weapon itself, stamping the head of Freeman whom otherwise has nowhere to go. The headstamps attract the attention of Raymond Flemming who once again is forced to use the threat of disqualification against Chris Phenomenal.
McNally: “This is like watching Senator wrestle himself.”
Edison: “It's great, isn't it. A great match that he always brings to the ring without the scent of Grecian formula.”
McNally: “I don't think he'd be too happy to hear you say that about him?”
Edison: “What's the old man going to do, bring his walker down to the ring?”
McNally: “It wouldn't surprise me if in thirty years he did something like that.”
Edison: “Thirty Years! If you think I'll be sitting here next to you in thirty years you're out of your mind.”
Chris is back on the offensive, having switched from the tax cut to flinging Freeman into the ropes and nearly taking his head off with a clothesline having turned the ACW Champion inside out. Looking down, he can see the title a mere second away as he lines Jason Freeman up, his right hand already balled up into a fist, ready to connect with a Superman Punch. As Freeman gets to his feet groggily, the high impact nature of the match already taking a toll on his body, Chris springs into action, looking for the knockout blow. It arrives a moment too late though as Freeman ducks out of the way and as Chris turns around he is caught by a knee to the sternum and then headdrive STO from Jason Freeman, who quickly makes the cover.

No! CP kicks out with relative ease after the two count, sending Freeman off of him for a moment before the current champion goes right back at him. Picking Phenomenal up Freeman whips him across the ring and on the rebound scores with a leg lariat taking the big man down to the ground who rolls to the outside of the rin. From there he goes towards the top ropes as those supporting him, the liberals in attendance, cheer him on. Chris slowly gets to his feet but once he does, he is immediately taken to ground by a somersaulting Freeman, who connects with the Freeflight sending Chris Phenomenal face first into the ring post. Freeman wastes no time in throwing Chris into the ring and then hooking the leg for the cover.

NO! Chris Phenomenal doesn't kick out but referee Raymond Flemming turns around and sees the feet of Jason Freeman on the ropes and immediately waves off the fall and gets in his face, admonishing him for the blatant cheating. The diatribe gives Chris Phenomenal a chance to gather himself as he groggily stumbles to his feet.
Edison: “Let 'em fight Raymond!”
McNally: “He's just doing his job and making sure that this match ends in a clean finish. The last thing we want to see is this match go down as Ireland vs. France with both sides claiming they should go to the World Cup.”
Edison: “Yeah, and look at how good the French performed there.”
McNally: “I usually refrain from getting involved with stereotypes, but could that have at all been because they are, well, French?”
Edison: “Touche”
Chris has seemed to regain his wits as Raymond finally backs away. Chris retreats to the center of the ring and Freeman follows him. The two lock up collar and elbow before Freeman looks to take control, switching to the back of Chris Phenomenal and running him into the ropes, before falling back rolling him up as again Raymond Flemming is forced to slide into position for the count.
...1 ...2 ...
NO! Again, Chris isn't able to kick out but Raymond breaks the count at two pointing at the fist full of tights Jason Freeman is holding. Again Freeman gets to his feet incredulous at what has happened, protesting once again that he should be the still regining champion. Chris gets to his feet and seeing the predicament Freeman is in, waits before stamping his foot on the canvas. Freeman reacts to it, turning around and Chris springs into action, his loaded fist flying forward and connecting ... unluckily with RAF who drops like a sack of hammers. Chris looks down at RAF for a moment, something resembling compassion in his eyes, something absent from Chris Phenomenal since his interactions with Dan White over a year ago. This fleeting moment costs Chris though as he turns around right to swift kick to the testicles by Jason Freeman.
McNally: “Damn that Freeman!”
Edison: “What a smart move there taking advantage of RAF's predicament.”
McNally: “Yes, but is that really how we want our title matches decided?”
McNally's assessment isn't quite correct as Freeman rolls out of the ring and heads towards Phillip Jones, motioning for him to get out of the way and grabs his chair at ringside, before folding it back up and heading towards the ring. Chris has moved to the center of the ring and is on one knee as Freeman slides in. He looks up at Freeman and shakes his head before Freeman gives him a little wink and blasts him in the head with the steel chair.
Chris doesn't drop out however, instead only falling to both knees on the ground. Freeman looks stunned, but shakes it off quickly as he swings the chair a second time which causes Chris to sway, but he isn't out cold, simply down on all fours. Freeman shakes his head at the stubbornness of Chris Phenomenal before raising the chair over head for the third time and bringing it down across the skull of Chris. This time Chris drops to the canvas as Freeman pitches the chair out of the ring and looks at RAF, now stirring in the corner. Walking over, Freeman hauls him over before rolling Chris onto his back and covering him as McNally makes the long, exaggerated, count.
...1 ... ... ...
McNally: “Damn that Freeman! What a lousy way to end Fan Appreciation Night!”
...2 ... ... ...
Edison: “I don't think he really cares about the fans to be honest. It's all about the gold.”

...3!!!
NO! Jason Freeman is incredulous as he looks down and sees Chris Phenomenal's shoulder off the canvas. Ignoring RAF, Freeman gets to his feet and looks down at Chris. What seems like an hour passes before Chris starts to get up, first to two knees, then too one and that is when Freeman charges, scoring with the Shining Axe Kick that knocks Chris flat on the canvas. Freeman is quick to cover and hooks the leg for the count.
...1 ... ...2 ... ...3!!!
This time there is no sign of movement as Jason Freeman rolls off of Chris Phenomenal and Phillip Jones grabs his microphone.
Jones: “Ladies and Gentleman, your winner and still ACW World Heavyweight Champion, Jason Freeman!!!

The Aftermath (Big Frank, Cross, CP) Phillip Jones: Here is your winner and STILL ACW World Heavyweight Champion, Jason Freeman! Edison: And Freeman has outlasted Phenomenal to retain the championship! McNally: Cashing in on a shot he robbed none the less, TJ won that shot not Phenomenal! Edison: : Possession is 9/10ths of the law, and like it or not he was in possession of the title shot, albeit in a losing effort. As the referee raises Freeman’s hand Frank Washington and Cross make a bee line for the ring as Freeman quickly takes his championship belt and rolls out of the ring, wanting no part of either member of the Dogs of War after a grueling title defense. Cross poses on the turnbuckle, taunting Freeman to get back in the ring however its no avail as Freeman soon exits backstage. Phenomenal starts to stir on the mat and motions for a mic. CP: You think I’m done with you Freeman? As long as you’re holding my ACW World Championship this is far from over! I’ve vowed to reclaim the belt and re-establish my dominance, and the dominance of the Dogs of War! The crowd boos at Phenomenal’s remarks which seem to irritate the now former #1 contender. CP is about to continue his rant, however both Frank and Cross start to circle him like sharks who have just sensed blood in the water. Phenomenal realizes what’s happening but before he can defend himself both Washington and Cross start throwing a barrage of punches at him. Phenomenal tries to fend them off however the combined efforts of Cross and Washington prove to be too much as the punches bring the big man down to the mat. McNally: What the…Edison: The Dogs of War are attacking Phenomenal like a pack of wolves! Washington and Cross start stomping a mud hole into Phenomenal as he’s unable to defend himself. Frank then tells Cross to pick him up as Frank runs up against the ropes and hits Phenomenal with an enziguri. Cross not wanting to give Phenomenal even a moment’s reprieve catches him in an inverted DDT before he can hit the mat. Frank then rolls under the ring rope and walks over to the time keeper and grabs a mic from ringside. Frank is heard laughing to himself as he walks back up the ring steps as Cross grins sinisterly at the fallen CP.Frank Washington: What’s the matter Chris? Frank re-enters the ring now, going in between the middle and top ropes mic still in hand as a dazed Chris Phenomenal looks over at Frank, a sense of shock can be seen in his eyes having just been double crossed.Frank Washington: Did you think we’d be content to serving as your lackeys as you selfishly tried to cash in on a World Title shot for yourself? Pick him up! Frank points over to the fallen CP as Cross picks him up, holding him in a full nelson lock as CP tries to wiggle free, however Cross increases the pressure making it impossible for him to break free.Frank Washington: Did you forget just who the hell I am? Frank takes the mic and hits Chris square in the forehead, the mic picking up the audible sounds the hit caused upon impact as Cross lets go with Chris dropping back to the mat as his forehead begins to bleed. Frank kneels down next to CP mic in hand as he speaks down to himFrank Washington: Does the name ‘Revolutionary Turncoat’ ring a bell?! I’ve made a living looking out for Number One and doing whatever it takes to further my own career, what made you think that I would remain loyal to you or TJ because we have history, that we all came from the ECF? You’re still the same punk that walked into my office back in Stamford looking for a job as a wrestler to get your first big break, absorbed in himself buying his own bullshit.
You’re a nobody Chris, a megalomaniac trying to hang onto what little glory you once had hiding behind his “Dogs of War” because deep down inside, you know you can’t stand on your own. You made the same mistake that your brother did; he thought I would be content to sit in the background as a part of The Revolution, that I would just play second fiddle as he led his “crusade” against Devastation Inc. He made the mistake of becoming content, not knowing that someone who he thought was “one of his own” would even dare think of turning on him. And in the blink of an eye I made an example out of him when he least expected it, just like you. We’re not your lapdogs, minions, or “comrades” and I’ll be damned if either one of us help you achieve your “dominance” by being your errand boys. As far as I’m concerned the only thing you’ve had “dominance” in lately is getting your ass handed to you. Cross and I both joined ACW to make an impact and we’ve formed a pact, a pact that you simply don’t belong in Chris. Frank then motions to Cross once more to pick him up as Frank hits Phenomenal with the Superkick as Cross carries the momentum into a german suplex.McNally: I never was a fan of Chris Phenomenal, but this is a disgusting display. Edison: This is great what’s wrong with you? Big Frank and Cross are laying down the law! McNally: Settle it in the ring, they don’t have to blindside him like a pack of wolves! Edison: If you have such a problem with it why don’t you stop them? Personally I think this mutiny shows what Big Frank and Cross aren’t here to bullshit. Frank looks over to Cross and hands him the mic as he puts a stomp on Chris for good measure.Cross: First TJ and now you Chris have both seen firsthand the might of the Demon. I’m here for two reasons, and that’s to cause pain and to show my dominance. I’ve broken bones, ended careers, and left people broken in a puddle of their own blood and misery on the MMA circuit, and soon ACW will bare witness to the destructive potential of a Demon such as myself. People may hate or frown upon me be it the way I dress or how I look, I refuse to follow the norm like a flock of sheep and parasites that have become what you call society. Darkness is fast approaching and if this Demon has anything to say about it ACW will soon be shrouded in the darkness, while the ring becomes a flowing river of blood. Cross kneels down, covering his hands gleefully in Phemonenal’s blood, wearing it as a badge of honour and the display that himself and Frank have caused. Frank picks up Phenomenal as Cross hits him with the Fall From Grace. Frank then smirks at his former fallen ally as he locks in the Black Halo. Chris gasping for air tries to reach out for the ropes or some form of escape but after a moment Chris passes out, his body becoming limp, almost lifeless. Frank then releases the hold, as both Frank and Cross stand over him tall, both coated in his blood as the camera fades to black.Fade Out

Segment: Revelations (Credit: ?/Ascendancy)
The fans in the arena start to stand up, assuming that the show must be over after the previous segment, and ready to beat the traffic...when suddenly the titantron comes to life. The cameras cut to the backstage now where the various members of the Ascendancy are seen gathering in their locker room. The mood is jovial and light, obviously a strong feeling of delight at the fact that Jason Freeman has retained the ACW World Heavyweight Championship. The men are laughing and jovially speaking with one another as they appear to be packing their belongings and are preparing to depart for the evening.
Senator: A magnificent performance tonight, if I dare say so myself, Mr. Freeman! You are showing everyone what a true world champion is supposed to be.
Cole: I second that notion! You went out there and took care of Chris Phenomenal like it was nothing, like that’s a surprise. That guy couldn’t take out The Scorpion and we took care of his goofy ass last week!
Freeman: Indeed. Well, it's as I said. Ascendancy is just showing why we RULE this company now and why there’s not a damn thing anyone can do about it. Tonight was just the first in what will be a long list of title defenses.
Senator: You are indeed correct. Such a victory will not only be a boon to your records, but for your own morale as well, defeating such a formidable former champion as Mr. Phenomenal.
Freeman: As you know, I don't need a confidence boost, I know I'm good.
Cole: Wait a minute guys, what about Dominic? I haven’t seen him since earlier tonight.
Freeman: Well, why would you? You gave him the night off. More than likely he's at a bar or something. Just call his cell.
Cole nods and quickly opens his athletic bag. After digging for a few seconds he finds his cell phone and quickly dials Dominic’s number. He holds the phone to his ear, but gets a look of confusion on his face and drops the phone back into the bag after only a few seconds.
Cole: That’s weird…the line is dead. Dominic never turns his phone off because I might need him for something.
Senator: I am sure it’s nothing Ryan. I am sure that…
Suddenly, The Senator gets cut off when the door to the locker room slams open! All three men ready themselves for a fight, but are confused to see a young local stagehand standing in the doorway. The young man is beet red in the face and sweating profusely, as if he just sprinted to the locker room.
Stagehand: Mr. Freeman! Mr. Cole! Mr. Phillips! Come quick! You have to follow me!
Senator: Hold on one second young man! Just who do you think you are to barge into the world champion’s locker room like this!?
Stagehand: I’m sorry sir, but it’s an emergency! You have to come now!
The men slowly look at one another and seemingly come to a consensus as they drop their things and follow the stagehand out into the hall. The young man leads them down the hallway, running so fast the Ascendancy has to greatly accelerate in order to keep up. Finally, the young man stops at a plain white door with the word “STORAGE” written on the front nameplate. He frantically begins pointing at the door before speaking again in an excited tone.
Stagehand: In there! It’s in there sir!
Freeman quickly kicks the door open and speaks once again as the Ascendancy moves into the storage room.
Freeman: Who do you think you are to ask the world champ to…
Freeman suddenly stops cold and goes dead silent when he sees the contents of the room in front of him. Cole and Senator quickly follow suit, but both are also stopped cold by the horrific sight that the room provides them.
Senator: Dear lord…
The small room is nearly completely covered in what appears to be blood. The sticky red fluid is oozing all over the floor, splattered on the walls, and some even rests on the ceiling. However, more impactful is the sight on the floor of the room. Lying near the center of the room is the brutally beaten body of Dominic Campbell. The man looks as if he’s been attacked by some wild animal, with his entire body covered in blood. The blood is so thick is has matted the hair to his head, while the awkward angle of his body indicates the strong possibility of broken bones. Dominic is completely unconscious and barely breathing, obviously having been this way for some time.
Cole: Dominic…what the hell…
Senator: Gentlemen, this explains why we couldn’t get in touch with him…
The Senator quickly holds up a smashed cellular phone, obviously the one belonging to Dominic himself. Cole takes the phone at looks at with a look of sadness on his face. Even the vicious and powerful members of the Ascendancy are seemingly moved by the brutality of what lies before them. However, while Cole and Senator get quiet at the sight, Freeman acts very differently. The champion becomes completely enraged, kicking at various boxes in the room and screaming at the top of his lungs.
Freeman: SON OF A BITCH! SOMEBODY IS GOING TO PAY FOR THIS! IT WAS PHENOMENAL WASN’T IT!? IT HAD TO BE THAT WORTHLESS BASTARD! NOBODY ELSE WOULD DARE DO THIS!!!
Cole: Oh my God…it can’t be…
Freeman appears to be too busy ranting to notice what Cole sees, so Cole quickly grabs him and points towards his left. Freeman yells at Cole to let him be, but suddenly falls dead silent when he sees what Cole is pointing at. Freeman’s eyes grow wide with surprise and he simply stares forward with his mouth gaping wide open, as if in complete and utter shock. Cole looks in the same direction with a similar look on his face, causing confusion from The Senator.
Senator: Gentlemen, what in the world has come over you…
Upon turning to look, even the calm and collected Senator shows his complete shock as his eyes grow wide. Near the unconscious Dominic’s head rests a large wooden crate on the floor; however the cause for this shock rests on top of the wood. Resting on top of the crate…is a single white rose! The cameras slowly fade out now as the last image captured is that of Jason Freeman, his eyes wide with shock, standing stunned at the pale white flower…
END OF SHOW

Just a quick note to thank you all for putting up with my late posting of this show, it'll not happen again(especially with our usual show posters in place), and also to tell people to check out the main event and Buddy Ghee's work for this show, all of which are extremely well done. It's a shorter show, but there's good stuff to find here.
