“JUDAS” Credit: Thunderkiss & ? [He came back. He got run over. He comes back again. Oh yes, this is truly a script equal to one penned by some of Hollywood’s greatest. Move over, Spielberg. Move over, Nolan. Even you, Steven King, you better take note. In front of your eyes tonight folds one of the greatest stories ever told. Now is a good time to tell you that if you disagree you do not get your money back. One group that won’t be asking for a refund is the Kiss Army who are all in stitches the moment “God of Thunder” hits the sound system. Their roars of approval remind Thunderkiss why he has returned and he responds by showing his fans the ultimate form of gratitude by slapping them high fives and proudly displaying them to the world via camera. The second his music ceases, Thunderkiss pulls down his sunglasses far enough for his eyes to peek over, looks into the camera and proclaims - ] Thunderkiss: I live.Crowd: YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Thunderkiss: To all my soldiers in the Army thanks for your worry and concern, but as you can see, your leader is still among the land of the living, albeit a bit bruised and sore. Hey dudes, it’s gonna take a lot more than a measly old car to put a dent on this old body. I bend, but I sure as hell don’t break! Now if you were living under a rock for the past week, let me catch you up to speed. Last Monday Night I once again inked my name in the pages of the professional wrestling history books. You see, I was only back for under an hour before someone tried to take me out - a brand new world record! I have to say, I was honored that someone saw me as being so threatening and scary that they just couldn’t let me stick my foot into the ACW pool. Well kiddies, in case my manly presence here in this ring doesn’t infer that they failed, let me put it to ya’ another way. Not only did I stick my foot in the pool, THE POOL IS CLOSED DUE TO ...Kiss Army: AIDS! Thunderkiss: Let me take you all back to that moment in time. After having bringing the entire world to their knees like only I can, I decided to retreat and recharge my batteries. Out into the warm Summer air I ventured, drawing ever so closely to the Thundermoblie to take me home to a nice cold bed and a soft pair of tits.. And that’s when it happened. The deafening roar I heard was not from my fans as I first thought but instead an engine. Like a deer in the headlights I must have looked as he slammed his foot on the gas pedal and turned me into a human bowling pin. As I did all I could to slide my body out of the way, my eyes looked up and time just stood. Seriously. It was just like a movie where everything freezes, that is exactly how I remember what happened next. It was here that I saw him. I saw the man who apparently hated me so much that he wanted to not just take me out of wrestling, but out of life itself. Now Army, normally I would have kicked in this son of a bitches’ dressing room door and shown him what getting hit by a car REALLY feels like but ... I - I couldn’t. I have to give this man a chance to clarify himself; to redeem himself ... I just gotta know. You. Come on out ... it’s time to clear the air.“Fast” Eddie Edison: I expected him to come out here riding a tank with bazookas in both hands and instead the guy looks like he is going to break down in tears. What the hell is a matter with him? Did he try to stop the car with his head? Maxwell McNally: No, I can tell there is something more to the story than he is letting on. Who on God’s green Earth would be given such a reprieve from Thunderkiss? [The capacity crowd is just as perplexed by the demeanor of Thunderkiss as our veteran broadcasting team. Needless to say that when any normal person falls victim to a hit and run their disposition will be anything but sunny, but when it is Thunderkiss, you better sound the disaster alarm. Or at least this is what we thought. Instead we see a man standing in the middle of the ring appearing most dejected, so much so that he is fumbling over his words. Why? The passing of time quickly sheds light upon this mystery.]

The wait alone would feel like it lasted ages, as the sheer anticipation of everyone in attendance seemed to grow with each passing, hastened moment of silence. Of waiting. Of wondering why their leader, their god would give such an opportunity to anyone. Let alone anyone that hit him with a car. It wasn't until 'Beast of Blood' by Malice Mizer hit that many in attendance came to the realization of the severity of the situation. For those true followers of the Kiss Army, that understood who was about to walk through those curtains, this was treason.
The overwhelming shock would not silence those in attendance as Fallen Souls made his way out from the back, however. Thundering jeers and death threats were lavished on Kiss' former partner as he stood on the ramp, just looking on to TK in the ring. Not an expression on either of their faces. It was time.
FSX: It's been a long, long time...hasn't it?
Eighteen long months have passed since Fallen Souls had last been seen. Physically, one might imagine that time had stood still. Mentally, one could tell by the blank calmness upon his face that simply wasn't the case. Something had changed him, to the point of attempting to kill his old friend.
FSX: Some things never really change though, do they? For example...you haven't changed. Not even a little bit. You're still the undeniable, indescribable hero of your legion. Your Kiss Army.
The negative response of the crowd would shift for the moment to a roar of positive at the description of their leader. They believed it all as the one and only truth, but the look on TK's face would better describe the situation. This wasn't praise.
FSX: I'd love to say I understood it. I'd love to say I could comprehend why the people love you so much. Why they hang on your every word, and do your bidding. Why they'd give their lives for you to just glimpse at them. But I don't. I never did, and I never will. But I'm getting off topic...allow me to get back to the point. Buddy, I ran you down with my car on Monday night. And I would do it again.
The reaction in the arena jumps to the other side of the spectrum once again as this is announced, plain and simple. FSX ran down Thunderkiss. Hearing it out loud, and without a single doubt remaining in his mind, TK already seemed softened. Hurt.
FSX: I know you're all wondering why, and honestly I feel just a little bad about making you all wait so long. The answer is simple. Glory.
A quizzical expression is the first to appear rather vividly on TK's face at this point, rather confused by the turn of events. Hatred was a good reason to try to destroy someone, but under these circumstances...glory?
FSX: I did so much in my career, but no matter what I did it always seemed as if someone else was getting all the praise. Someone else was getting all of the attention. I've won five different titles in ACW. I've climbed mountains and overcame impossible odds to accomplish this. I've done what many considered inconceivable and defeated Sarin Rossi to win the World Title at the grandest stage of them all. To finally reach the pinnacle of the industry at Omega Effect. But even then, I was not allowed the same opportunity as others to celebrate. To truly enjoy my moment of glory.
Taking a moment to pause as the Kiss Army had a tendency to erupt in screams for blood and direct answers, Fallen would take the opportunity to continue his reasoning.
FSX: Even when I won the big one, at the biggest stage, against the biggest obstacle, with my career on the line, no one really cared. No one really gave the moment any mind. No one let me have my Heroes welcome. Despite all I went through, everyone I had to defeat, I was awarded no respect. I was given no legacy. I was still nothing but a shadow as someone else stood...as the hero.
Clicking in with the situation Thunderkiss appeared ready to react and interrupt the train of thought, before Fallen lifted a hand to silence him and continued
FSX: When I came back to compete with you, Kiss, it was because I wanted that final opportunity at stardom. That final chance to really be remembered. To really matter to the fans. When we won the Tag Titles, and everyone was cheering and showering us with praise I thought I'd reached that moment. That it finally had happened, after all those long years...but it hadn't. Not even for a moment was it my glory. No...I was just in the shadow again. In the background as the Kiss Army cheered on their lord and master. As everyone in the back congratulated their hero. I was still nothing to them. Nothing to be respected. Nothing to be remembered. I was simply there as Thunderkiss obtained another crowning achievement.
Another interruption of loud jeers and casual death threats gave another pause to the reasoning, as FSX finally allowed a smile to come to his face. This was the breaking point of years wasted. Years where he wasn't allowed any praise or recognition, and the overwhelming hatred he was receiving from the Kiss Army for what he'd done finally allowed his side of the story to be heard. To be listened too.
FSX: So I left. I thought I was over all of this, and I could finally move on with my life. But then I heard about the Hall of Fame ceremony. That the greatest of ACWs history were being enshrined for all eternity. To be remembered for the ages. I thought maybe, just maybe, I would finally be recognized. I would have my time in the sun...but no.
The smile quickly disappearing from his lips, his eyes would now lock on Thunderkiss. On the man who was enshrined for his legacy of entertainment.
FSX: Once again, it was all about Thunderkiss. It was your crowning achievement. And the cherry on top of it all? You didn't even mention me in your fucking speech! You didn't even spare two words to thank me for being there. For being a part of your career. For being a supporting member in one of your glorious achievements. I wasn't even worth that much! I just couldn't take it anymore. It was all too much to handle.
Removing his gaze from Kiss as he looked rather hurt himself, Fallen would turn away from him for the moment. It would provide the perfect opportunity if TK wanted to strike...but that simply wasn't on his mind at the moment. He was in a spell of the reasoning for the attack that almost ended him.
FSX: So when I saw you were coming back, yet again, to try and reclaim your 'rightful place' as World Champion? I couldn't let that happen. I couldn't let such a piece of shit be called a hero of everyone again. So I got in my car, and took action. But low and behold, it seems I've failed again. He lives, ladies and gentlemen! Your glorious hero walks among us!
Raising his hands to applaud as garbage was being tossed within striking distance of him, Fallen could only laugh and quickly turn back to the man he nearly killed. Everyone hated him for it, and he was lavishing in it all!
FSX: Buddy...oh, my buddy. I'm very sorry it had to come to this, but you left me absolutely no choice as you can see. You had to be stopped, and the people had to see just how wrong they've been. After all, you're a Hall of Famer. Yet I've been in ACW longer then you, I've achieved more then you in my time here, and I was always better then you. Yet you're the one asking for justice? No. You don't deserve it. You deserved to be hit by that car, and you deserved to never set foot in that ring again. Where's my justice?! Where's my moment in the sun?!
Almost reaching a frenzy in rage as memories flooded back of times he had been overlooked. Forgotten for his talents and simply expected to blend in to the background. It was all too much...but this time he wouldn't let it control him. Taking in a breathe, he would look to Thunderkiss once more. To finish it.
FSX: To put it simply, you deserved it Aiden...and nothing more.
As FSX finished his statement he simply dropped the mic and turned around, finished with the situation as he made his way to the back to the sound of boos and cries for redemption. For revenge. They wouldn't be answered, however, as TK stood in the ring a broken man.
[There is no witty response, no comedic banter. Last Monday he was clipped by a thousand pounds of steel rushing at him at over sixty miles an hour. Compared to this, that didn’t hurt a bit. Out of all the shots he has taken over the years, this ranks as being one of the most hurtful and it didn’t even take a fist to do it. Mustering all the strength he has left in his body, Thunderkiss lifts the microphone from the canvas and screams into it to ensure that his “buddy” will hear his last declaration.]
Thunderkiss: I ain’t gonna fight you, man. I ain’t gonna do it.
[And from afar, a response is given ... ]
FSX: Sometimes in life you don’t get what you want, Kiss. I know that better than anyone.
[END]

Main Event[/u] World Heavyweight Championship: Novgorod Enclosure Match Danny Mainer (c) vs. Jason Freeman (Credit: Freeman/Mainer)
The ACW fans are on their feet…it is almost time for the championship matchup…the cage has been lying above the ring all night, and finally it is time or it to descend.
“Ugly” by The Exies hits the speakers, the theme song of the challenger tonight – Jason Freeman. As he walks from beyond the curtain, his eyes are set and determined. They are fixed upon the ring, ready to take on whatever he may have to face inside of that cage. The Novgorod Enclosure. The fans instantly begin to show their disapproval of the number 1 contender, but he pays them no mind. If there was ever a time to block out the fans it was tonight. This was his night. He walks down the ramp slowly eyeing the ring. He walks up the steps and inside. In just a few moments everybody inside is going to be cut off from the world outside. No way Ascendancy is going to assist him tonight.
He looks around and then leans against the ropes, waiting for Mainer’s music to hit the speakers. The fans are anticipating that as well as they begin to chant Mainer’s name, starting softly, and then growing louder and louder.
McNally: The crowd’s already anxious for Danny Mainer tonight!
Edison: That’s for sure!
McNally: And Jason Freeman looks as determined as I’ve ever seen him.
Edison: This could be his night!
And then it’s time for the moment everybody’s been waiting for. “A Tout Le Monde”, by Megadeth, an unfamiliar theme for Danny Mainer, hits the speakers. Apparently, tonight is important enough to warrant some new music. The fans still mark out all the same, and as the ACW champion walks out from behind the curtains, he gets one of the biggest pops of his career. Perhaps it’s the fact that he will finally get to destroy Jason Freeman tonight. Perhaps it is because his career is on the line. But he has to smile as he hears the sound. He makes his way down the ramp. He has waited for this moment just as much as Jason Freeman has. The chance for revenge.
As he walks up the steps, he gives his championship belt to the referee, who as per procedure, holds it up into the air. Danny Mainer then looks across at Jason Freeman. The time has come.
McNally: The champion Danny Mainer looks confident tonight! He's waited for this for a LONG time.
Edison: And these fans are ready to cheer him on!
McNally: Well folks, as the cage comes down...there's no turning back!
The Novgorod Enclosure does indeed begin to lower. The massive structure - its top wrapped in barbed wire - lands on the apron, and now the two combatants are officially locked inside. The momentousness of the occasion strikes the fans and they stand up and begin to cheer, as they wait for that bell to ring.

The music cuts out, and now both men are in the ring. The time has come. For two months, Danny Mainer has waited for this moment. After having his life ruined and losing Caitlynn, he has wanted revenge. He has been unable to attain it throughout the entire summer. But now he is locked in a cage with Jason Freeman himself, and there would be no revenge. The moment he has dreamed about for two months has finally arrived, as he looks across the ring at his opponent just waiting for the bell to ring. But Jason Freeman has waited for this moment as well - for four years in fact. The chance to win the world heavyweight championship. He had not been accounting for the match type change, that had been a last minute issue. But it has not shaken his confidence any.
McNally: You can literally feel the tension in the air as these two men stare at each other. We’ve been waiting to see this match for two months and it’s finally arrived!
Edison: And inside the...what’s it called again? The Novgorod Enclosure?
McNally: An unusual name based on Danny Mainer’s Russian career.
Edison: Who cares about the name…look at all the barbed wire! There’s no way Freeman’s getting help tonight!
McNally: That’s right. With Mainer getting the match type changed, he has accounted for Ascendency. It will come down to just Freeman and Mainer. The fury of Danny Mainer vs the cunning of Jason Freeman. And we have to remember that a lot is on the line tonight. Jason Freeman is fighting for the championship that he has sought after for years. But Danny Mainer fights to save his career. It could go either way, but in this match, I’d have to give the advantage to Danny Mainer. Two months of fury is going to erupt here, and in this structure that’s going to be an advantage.
The referee moves out of the way of the two, and they look into each other’s eyes. Freeman looks around the structure, getting a feel for the surroundings. Danny Mainer doesn’t move his eyes from Freeman. Danny Mainer even manages a smile as he waits for the bell to ring. The fans begin to chant Mainer’s name, just waiting for that bell to ring. And finally it does….
Ding Ding Ding!
And the fans erupt as Danny Mainer charges forward tackling Freeman to the ground and going wild with punches to the face! Danny Mainer’s smile has become a grimace of fury, and his eyes bulge out with what is almost insanity. He has been waiting for this moment for too long and it’s finally here, and with each strike he lets all of that anger out. Freeman attempts to block the shots, but there is no way he is going to get a shot in himself, as Mainer is too into it. The fans go CRAZY, erupting at the chance to see Freeman getting what’s been coming to him for months. Freeman is able to block the shots, but some manage to connect, and they just keep coming. Freeman manages to roll Mainer off of him, and then gets a shot or two in on his own, but Mainer is able to get Freeman back down, and Mainer continues exploding forth with shots, as Freeman attempts to get off the ground. This has become a straight up fight, not a wrestling match yet.
Freeman manages to roll away from Mainer, and uses the ropes to get to his feet. His instinct is to turn towards the outside of the ring, no doubt thinking about exiting the ring to perhaps either buy time for Mainer to cool down, or try to use Mainer’s fury against him. But then he realizes the cage, and knows that is not going to be happening. He ducks under Mainer’s punch however, and bounces off the opposite ropes, attempting to clothesline him to the ground. Mainer dodges, and as Freeman comes back, Mainer merely elbows him right in the jaw, dropping Freeman to the ground! The fans continue to chant Mainer’s name, Mainer getting his biggest pop in a long time.
Edison: Ouch! I can feel this from here!
McNally: Things are not looking good for Jason Freeman…and this may be the first time in months Freeman has began to get what’s been coming to him.
Freeman gets up clutching his jaw, that last shot hurting him. As he stands, Mainer drops him to the ground with a huge punch, Freeman stands up once more, and turns right into another shot which brings him back to the floor! A third time Freeman gets up, and Mainer tries to drop him once more but Freeman throws himself backwards, dropping to the ground, and ending up in the lower turnbuckle in a sitting position. Once again the cage restricts him…he can’t leave the ring, and there is now nowhere to go. Mainer comes forward, and begins once more hitting shot after shot at Freeman’s face, as Freeman sits on that bottom turnbuckle. The referee attempts to pull Mainer away by instinct, but there is nothing he can do. There are no rules in this match and Danny Mainer cannot be stopped. Finally Danny Mainer puts his foot against Freeman’s face, and pushes the side of Freeman’s head against the steel cage. He rubs it left and then right, Freeman trying to push away from the sides to stop his head from scraping against the steel. Mainer suddenly removes his foot and gets down into Freeman’s face, and begins yelling. The camera does not pick up exactly what the words are, but after watching the past two months, it is easy to imagine. Suddenly Mainer grabs Freeman and yanks him to his feet.
Freeman attempts to escape the grip, but Mainer grabs him by the back of the head, brings him forward, and slams his head into the side of the steel cage! The fans erupt as Freeman smashes into it, making him fall backwards to the ground clutching his head! Mainer stands there, staring down at Freeman. Since this match began, Mainer has not changed his face. He has been a picture of fury, and he has not taken his focus away from Jason Freeman. This perhaps may be the most vicious the fans have seen Danny Mainer, at least in recent times. He has not taken one second to look to the crowd or taunt his opponent. He usually showboats constantly, but not tonight. He has been completely focused on punishing Freeman. Freeman manages to stand once more, and Mainer grabs him again, this time slamming his head into the cage wall even harder! Freeman stands up by grabbing the ropes, and attempts to turn around to face Mainer, but Mainer grabs Freeman again and this time doesn’t let Freeman fall, slamming his head into the cage once, twice, three times, four times, FIVE times. And then finally grabbing Freeman and beginning to scrape Freeman’s head against the cage as if it was a cheese grater.

Freeman tries to struggle, but with an opponent as furious as Danny Mainer is right now, there is no overpowering him. Mainer’s face almost quivers with the effort as he puts all his strength into letting that cage wall tear at Freeman’s face, before finally he lets Freeman fall to the ground. Freeman rolls over onto his stomach clutching his head. As the camera zooms in on the fallen Freeman, it gets a picture of his forehead, and it seems that already blood has entered this match. At the moment, it isn’t much, just a small trickle from the forehead. The cut, however, has clearly been made, and will only worsen from here.
McNally: Freeman’s already bleeding! This has been a savage beatdown!
Edison: I kind of feel bad for Freeman!
McNally: Well, I can’t say I share your sentiments. And I think you’d be hard-pressed to find many fans in here who do. I may be impartial, but I can’t help thinking that Freeman may have had this coming for a very long time, and I think most people would agree.
And now once more, Danny waits for Freeman to get to his feet. Freeman does so slowly, getting to one knee, and then starting to stand, and as he turns he throws a punch at Mainer that connects! Freeman hits another, but then suddenly finds himself kneed in the chest. He bends over, as Mainer stands back, and now gives a swift stiff kick right to the chest. Freeman grabs his chest and backs up, as Mainer grabs him by the arm, backing him into the ropes, and irish whipping him across the ring! Freeman hits the ropes, and on the rebound, Mainer sidesteps and grabs Freeman’s head, and uses all of Freeman’s momentum to push him once more into the steel cage face first! The cage practically shakes as Freeman hits it, and he backs up into the ring, nowhere to escape to. Nowhere to go. And now the blood is beginning to flow just a little more freely, still nothing excessive, but worsening all the same.
Mainer comes forward once more, and hits another stiff kick to the ribs of Freeman. Freeman bends over, and Mainer hits a stiff kick to the side of the head, and Freeman drops again. Mainer has cooled down a little it seems, that initial flurry of punches now turning into calculated kicks. But still, the furious anger remains, and he clearly is enjoying punishing Freeman. Freeman gets to his knees, and Mainer comes forward kicking Freeman in the ribs, causing him to roll over. Mainer grabs Freeman’s arm, and drops down, attempting to apply an armbar! Freeman tries to wrench his arm out of Mainer’s grip, but Mainer locks it in before he gets the chance! Freeman grimaces in pain, as Mainer attempts to wrench Freeman’s arm right out of its socket, and with no rope breaks Freeman is going to have to counter the move. There is no way he is going to submit here. Mainer knows that, but he is just continuing to punish Freeman as best as he can. Freeman manages to inch his way towards the ropes. He can’t break the hold, but he can use the ropes to help himself get to his feet, and that’s what he begins to do as he manages to get up to his feet, and Mainer lets go. Suddenly Mainer hits an outside kick to the thigh, followed by a kick to the stomach, and then a discus palm slap that connects perfectly, already hitting the Made Hand! That last shot has really met its mark, and Freeman groggily falls backwards against the ropes, slowly rebounding forward seeming out on his feet.
Suddenly, Mainer grabs Freeman holding him up in position for the Royal Flush! The fans erupt as Mainer holds Freeman on his shoulders, taking a moment to imagine driving his knee straight through Freeman’s skull! Suddenly Freeman slides off Mainer’s shoulders, Mainer turns around and Freeman jumps, driving his leg backwards over his head and connecting hard into the skull of Danny Mainer! Danny Mainer sinks to the ground – this may be the first shot he’s taken all match, but it hits his mark perfectly. Freeman lies on his back, as Mainer lies on his stomach. Mainer rolls over, stunned, not expecting that kick at all. Freeman attempts to stand, to capitalize on his new advantage.
McNally: How did Freeman get the strength for that?!
Edison: That was one good kick!
Freeman manages to struggle to his feet, groggy from all the shots he’s taken this match, as Mainer stands up holding his head. Freeman holds the ropes to steady himself…and as Mainer turns, Freeman charges forward, putting all his energy into a double front dropkick that connects so hard Mainer flies backwards smashing his back into the steel cage! The whiplash drives Mainer to the ground, and perhaps this was the momentum shift that Freeman needed. However Freeman himself is currently in no shape to mount a comeback. The blood is continuing to flow, and he has used all his energy to hit these two big moves. Luckily, however, he has bought himself time. Up until this point, the match had been completely one-sided.

Freeman gets onto his knees, and looks over at Mainer, who is beginning to get up. Freeman snarls, and goes over to Mainer, mounting him and beginning to nail some shots to his face, a bit of revenge for the first part of this match. Freeman is determined to inflict as much damage on Mainer as Mainer had previously inflicted on him. Mainer may have used up a lot of energy in the first half of the match, for he is unable to counter many of Freeman’s vicious blows. Mainer rolls over, and Freeman then stands, goes over to the ropes, springboards onto the second rope, and turns in the air, coming down with a double stomp right to Mainer’s leg! Mainer grabs his leg in pain, and this makes Freeman’s eyes gleam. Freeman suddenly stumbles, still trying to recover from the onslaught he has suffered, but he manages to steady himself, knowing that it’s now or never. If he can’t capitalize right here, he may never get the chance. He grabs Mainer’s leg, and pushes it against the cage wall, before pulling his leg back and kicking Mainer’s leg right against the steel!
Edison: Freeman seems to be trying to take out the leg here!
McNally: Well, it isn’t a bad idea. Freeman has taken a beating already, and so he’s going to have to slow Mainer down to keep up with him.
Mainer grasps his leg but he’s already getting to a standing position, as Freeman waits for him. When Mainer finally gets to his feet, Freeman goes to grab him, but Mainer isn’t ready to lose his advantage that easily! Mainer throws a nice kick at Freeman, which connects, and then Mainer goes for a punch, but Freeman sidesteps it and grabs Mainer, lifting him up for the lifting complete shot! Instead however, of bringing Mainer into the ground, Freeman allows Mainer to fall in such a way that he ends up slamming Mainer’s face right into the steel! Mainer seems to be down, and Freeman has finally gotten the solid advantage with that impactful move. Freeman, unlike Mainer, just wants to win this match. Punishing his opponent is merely a bonus. He rolls Mainer over, and goes for the first cover of the match thus far. 1 . . . 2 . . . Mainer kicks out. It’s going to take a lot more than that to finish Mainer off in this one. This has just begun.
McNally: A pretty resourceful move from Jason Freeman!
Edison: Yeah, I can’t believe he managed to take the advantage away from Mainer!
McNally: But the question is for how long?
Freeman comes to his feet, looking around at the cage walls, obviously trying to think of how he could use them to his advantage. The blood continues to trickle down his bruised face, results of the earlier onslaught. Freeman drops down to the mat and again goes towards that leg of Danny Mainer. As soon as he grabs it, however, Mainer gets his other leg up and kicks Freeman hard in the face. The fans cheer as Freeman stumbles backwards. Mainer gets up to his feet, and Freeman shakes out the cobwebs before charging forward! Mainer leapfrogs over Freeman, and Freeman has to grab the ropes to stop himself from hitting the steel once more. Mainer bounces off the opposite ropes, and as Freeman turns around Mainer leaps into the air and gives one of the quickest, stiffest, dropkicks that any ACW fan has ever seen as he smashes Freeman’s head against the cage wall!
Freeman drops down falling against the turnbuckle, completely stunned, and now Mainer approaches him, his momentum back. Mainer sticks his boot in Freeman’s face, and begins kicking Freeman’s head once more against the steel wall! The fans erupt, as they witness the cut on Freeman’s head clearly widening, as the blood flow now intensifies. Mainer waits a couple moments before backing off and charging forward with one more low dropkick, once more bringing Freeman’s head into the steel. Freeman seemed to be out from the first dropkick, and now he sinks to the floor barely moving at all. Mainer for his part takes a few minutes to breathe, as this burst of energy has taken its toll.
McNally: I don’t know how Freeman can possibly continue this match after all the shots he’s already taken to the head….that first dropkick looked like it could have seriously done a number on him.
Edison: And while Freeman has only hit a few moves in this match, he’s been sure to make them count…you can see Mainer’s already been affected.
Mainer drags Freeman into the middle of the ring, and drops down rolling him over. Perhaps Mainer goes for the cover, maybe not so much to actually get the win just yet, but to see exactly how much Freeman still has in him. 1 . . . 2 . . . And Freeman kicks out. It seems that he is not yet done after all. Mainer stands up once more, and finally takes note of the crowd. He looks to them for a second, and takes in the sounds of thousands of people chanting his name. Perhaps the moment reminds him of just how much is on the line tonight. This unforgettable experience – being loved and supported by fans all over the world – may very well end tonight if he allows himself to slip. His whole career is on the line. He turns back towards Jason Freeman, who has crawled over to the turnbuckle and is beginning to stand up.
Mainer walks over to Freeman, and as Freeman leans against the corner, Mainer stands on the second rope, holding his fist into the air. The fans cheer as they realize they are about to see Freeman punished by one of the classic spots in wrestling. The 10 punches from the turnbuckle. They chant along as Mainer punches Freeman, each shot harder than the last, and each shot meant to widen that cut that has already allowed blood to pour down most of Freeman’s face by this point. Mainer has to be careful however, as the barbed wire is just above his head. “1!” “2!” “3!” “4!” “5!” “6!” “7!” And suddenly as Mainer goes for eight, Freeman ducks out of the turnbuckle, through Mainer’s legs, and turns around grabbing Mainer. Before Mainer can react Freeman puts a foot on the rope and thrusts upward, and manages to push Mainer up right into the barbed wire! Mainer quickly gets his arms up to try and protect his face, and for a second he remains tangled in it as the fans gasp in shock. Mainer goes free a second later, and tumbles down to the mat.
Edison: DANNY MAINER JUST WENT RIGHT INTO ALL OF THAT BARBED WIRE!
McNally: I hope the camera gets a better look at him. That could have been bad!

The camera does zoom in…and luckily it is the back of Mainer’s neck, and his arms that have had the most damage done by the wire. His forehead as well, now trickles some blood. While it is not a pretty sight, it could have been much much worse.
McNally: Mainer could have just lost an eye!
Edison: I have a feeling that’s not how he thought the barbed wire was going to be used when he asked for this match…
Freeman manages a grin through his bloody face as he sees Mainer hit the ground, and he sees that his opponent is now bleeding as well. Freeman waits a couple seconds as Mainer – stunned – gets to his feet, and Freeman then grabs him in a full nelson tightly. Freeman swings Mainer to one side, smashing his head into the cage, before swinging him back the other way into a faceplant. Freeman goes forward, rolls Mainer over, and attempts the cover. 1 . . 2 . . . And Mainer kicks out. Freeman takes a minute to regroup before he gets to his feet once more. That last shot into the steel has opened up Mainer’s cut slightly more as well. Still, Freeman is clearly bleeding the most out of the two. Mainer attempts to crawl up to his feet, and Freeman gives him some space. He waits, and waits, until Mainer finally leans against the cell, before running forward clotheslining Mainer into the steel. Mainer collapses to the ground, and Freeman drops down, and puts Mainer in the cobra clutch crossface! He yanks with all his might, yelling as he puts everything he has into stretching Mainer and breaking him in two. Mainer is in pain right now, quite obviously, and though he tries to escape the move, he is unable. Freeman, however, stops it on his own accord, as he pulls Mainer over, and rests his head on the bottom rope. Freeman then once again springboards to the second rope, turns, and kicks Mainer’s head into the cage.
Edison: Both these guys obviously thought up some good ways to use this cage…and to hurt each other.
McNally: And if this keeps up, neither man will be able to do much due to blood loss. Especially Freeman, look how much he’s bleeding now!
Freeman’s cut has worsened over the course of the match, that’s for sure. He walks over to Mainer and slowly and methodically begins to stomp on the fallen champion. Mainer rolls over, and attempts to get up, but Freeman is able to keep him down with relative ease at this point. He has taken control, and Mainer is going to need a big move to reverse the flow of the match right now. Perhaps sensing that he is weakening the longer the match goes on, Freeman looks down, and then looks up to the crowd. His face is clear. He is going to try to end this thing. Right now. He waits patiently for Mainer to get to his knee. When he does, Freeman finally runs forward. He looks for the shining axe kick, but Mainer throws himself out of the way! Mainer stumbles to his feet, and Freeman comes forward. Mainer ducks down and Freeman misses a punch. Mainer grabs Freeman as if for a german suplex, and throws Freeman backward into the cage! Mainer lets go as Freeman falls forward to his knees…Mainer has bought himself a couple of seconds, and as soon as Freeman gets up Mainer charges forward clotheslining him back down! Freeman gets up and finds himself knocked down once more. Mainer then hits a few palm strikes before spinning with a discus knife edge chop! Freeman clutches his chest and Mainer bounces off the ropes with a nice knee smash, before bouncing off the ropes from a different angle and hitting a bulldog, completing the Slutbuster! Mainer gets to his feet and yells, the fans on their feet. Mainer has retaken control of this match, and Freeman is about to find out what that means for him.
Mainer grabs Freeman and holds him tightly, pointing to his knee, about to go for the Straight Flush! Perhaps sensing this, Freeman snaps to life and shoves Mainer away. Perhaps there is still too much in Freeman to hit his finisher, but Freeman is unable to capitalize because when Mainer rebounds he merely jumps and hits a kick right to Freeman’s head! The fans once again hit their feet, watching Mainer hit some of his signature offense! Mainer holds Freeman in Muay Thai Clinch, hitting five rapid knees to the head, before going for the superkick to complete the Russian Roulette. Freeman catches the kick however…only for Mainer to jump up and hit an enzuigiri! Freeman sinks down, as Mainer begins to climb up the turnbuckle.
McNally: Danny Mainer showing some of his signature offense here, and the crowd is loving it!
Edison: How is he able to show so much energy after all the shots these two have taken tonight?
Freeman is on his knees, and is attempting to get to his feet. Danny Mainer points to the crowd, letting them know that this one is for them. Mainer is ready to jump onto Freeman, before Freeman runs forward, springboards off the second rope and jumps up with an amazing mule kick that connects right with Mainer! Freeman rolls forward out of the kick, gets to his feet, and instantly stumbles right back down to the ground as Mainer slouches on the turnbuckle, falling out of a standing position but still on the top rope. The crowd can’t help but be a little impressed at Freeman’s ability to hit such a big move with all the blood he’s been losing. Freeman stands up, and makes his way over to the turnbuckle, and begins to climb it. Mainer is still seemingly out on his feet, as Freeman begins to try to turn Mainer around to face the cage. Finally, he succeeds, and begins to grab Mainer in position for a dragon suplex…the fans begin to rumble…Freeman is going for a move that he has barely used in his career…a move that once defeated “The Senator” Steve Phillips in one of Freeman’s first major victories!
He is just ready to jump when Mainer begins to struggle. Mainer reaches back and hits Freeman with a nice elbow, and then Mainer grabs Freeman from behind him and pushes Freeman’s face into the cage wall! Freeman is now the one that is struggling to stand, and keep his balance on the top rope. Mainer grabs Freeman and begins to rapidly smash Freeman’s face into that cage! Once! Twice! Three times! Four times! FIVE times…and on the fifth one, Freeman falls backwards into the middle of the ring, facing the ceiling. Mainer looks to the crowd, and then leaps off with a nice moonsault that connects perfectly! Mainer remains on Freeman, not even having to move to make the cover. 1 . . . 2 . . .

3-NO! Freeman gets the shoulder up at the very last second!
McNally: I thought that was it! I really thought that that one was it!
Edison: So did I!!
McNally: Remember though, the match doesn’t end when the pin is made. The superstar still needs to escape this structure afterwards.
Mainer can’t believe that this one wasn’t over either…he rolls over and begins to get to his feet. Freeman at his side attempts to do the same. Both men are bleeding, but Freeman much worse than Mainer. Those last shots into the cage seem to have done it - Freeman is now wearing the crimson mask. Both men are up, and now Mainer strikes Freeman, who stumbles backwards, before coming forward and striking Mainer. They both give each other all they have, their fury reawakened. Both men have taken punishment in this match, and neither one is willing to give in. The fans go wild as the shots fly, the two men trying to use up as much energy as they can right now to get the advantage, both men feeling a surge of adrenaline as they know that whoever gets the next major move may be able to win the match and the championship. Freeman hits a hard chop to Mainer, who hits a hard kick to Freeman. Freeman returns with a kick of his own, hitting Mainer in the head…Mainer stumbles back, but then kicks FREEMAN in the head. The two both nearly fall to the ground, but somehow they stay up. Freeman hits a knee to Mainer, and then pulls him in. Freeman lifts Mainer onto his shoulders as if going for a snake eyes, and before Mainer can react Freeman runs forward ramming Mainer’s head into the cage like Mainer was a battering ram!
Mainer falls off Freeman’s shoulders, and Freeman grabs Mainer. With a yell, Freeman drives Mainer’s face into the steel over and over and over again, intending to knock him out right here! Freeman then grabs Mainer, and attempts to get him with the lifting inverted final cut! Mainer, however, does not allow himself to be lifted up. Mainer somehow has the strength to elbow Freeman in the gut multiple times, and lift him up onto his shoulders, once again perhaps going for the Royal Flush! Freeman struggles, however, and Mainer spins himself around, slamming Freeman’s head right against the steel cage! This allows Freeman to go limp for a second, and Mainer attempts to bring him towards the middle of the ring. Somehow, however, Freeman seems to have grabbed the cage! Perhaps fighting unconsciousness after that hard shot into the steel, Freeman still maintains his grip, knowing in the back of his head despite all the pain that if he lets go right now he may lose this thing. Mainer yanks, but Freeman’s hold is tight, and suddenly Freeman begins to elbow Mainer as hard as he can, rapidly driving his elbow into Mainer’s skull, until Mainer weakens, and Freeman is able to get his feet on the floor.
Freeman backs up a couple steps – trying as hard as he can to not allow himself to fall down here – and then runs forward with a bicycle kick! Mainer dodges, somehow, and Freeman stumbles forward, nearly losing his balance. As Freeman turns Mainer jumps for a tornado DDT! He spins around but Freeman holds tight and catches him. Before Freeman can capitalize however, Mainer stretches his feet out and kick off of the steel wall, using that for the extra momentum to continue spinning around Freeman and plant him with the tornado DDT! Freeman hits the ground hard and bounces up to a sitting position before falling back down as Mainer goes for the cover! 1 . . . 2 . . . 3-NO! Freeman just barely manages to get the shoulder up, as Mainer doesn’t even have the strength at the moment to get off of Freeman. The two men lie on the ground, as the fans continue to cheer on Danny Mainer who once again was almost able to put Freeman away. Eventually Mainer tries to crawl to his feet, and Freeman tries to crawl away to get himself some space. Mainer is on his feet first, and he goes over to Freeman before Freeman is able to stand. He grabs him, and then propels him once more face first right into the steel cage. This cage has been used numerous times throughout this match…and that is not going to stop.
McNally: Every time one of these men hits that unforgiving steel it takes more and more out of them.
Edison: Yeah, this match isn’t even about length….they’ve done so many high-impact moves to each other they might as well have been wrestling for an hour. They’ve taken everything out, and it’s only a matter of time before one of them doesn’t have anything left.
If Mainer wanted revenge in this match, he certainly had gotten his wish. The camera zooms in to show the state of Jason Freeman right now, and it’s a condition that many people have wanted to see him in for months. His face is completely red, blood covering him from all of these shots into the steel. The blood has even gone down onto his chest. These injuries are going to be hurting for quite a while, and may take quite the physical toll on him for a while. He may be lucky if he doesn’t have a concussion or some other head injury from all of the times his head has shot into that steel. If he can manage to come out on top of this match, it would be quite impressive indeed. Danny Mainer, of course, is not in much a better state, but it is clear that the brunt of the damage in this match has been taken by Freeman himself.
Mainer now pulls Freeman to his feet, attempting to put him away possibly. Mainer grabs Freeman, lifting him up in position for a vertical suplex! Mainer holds it there for as long as he can, hoping that the stalling suplex mixed with the blood loss will make Freeman unable to fight back at all. Freeman however, is resourceful. As he comes close enough to the cage, Freeman manages to get his legs to touch the cage, and then pushes off. He comes down into a standing position, and quickly grabs Mainer, slamming the back of his head into the cage as hard as he can. Mainer grabs his head and sinks down, and as he stands Freeman bounces off the ropes and hits a PERFECT bicycle kick, which (similar to Mainer’s dropkick earlier) kicks Mainer’s head right into the steel! Mainer falls to the ground…Freeman falls as well, but he makes sure that he lands right on top of Mainer…the referee comes down for the pin. 1 . . . 2 . . .

3-NO! Mainer gets the shoulder up, about as close to the three count as somebody could possibly go.
McNally: How is it possible these guys still have more?!
Edison: Well, I’m not so sure Freeman does! I think that might have been his last chance at getting the win, because I think the blood loss is finally beginning to stop him.
McNally: One would think that it would have to be!
That is indeed true. Freeman’s eyes have changed. They appear almost glazed over. It’s possible that that last bicycle kick was the last major move he would be able to make in this match.
Freeman is astonished by the fact that despite him slamming Mainer's head into a steel cage more times than he really wants to count at this moment and then hitting him with a Bicycle Kick the world's heavyweight champion can still keep fighting on through all of this pain. Mainer lies on the floor centre of the ring with his face a canvas of crimson, blood everywhere as Freeman can at least take pride in totally rearranging the champs facial features. The dark hairs of Mainer's beard are saturated with his own blood making him look like a redhead now. Freeman drags Mainer off the floor unsympathetic to his groaning of pain and delivers a quick scoop slam just to regain momentum lost from deciding what to do. Freeman then slaps on a Rear Chinlock for good measure.
Edison: “Look at Mainer, his face is a mess. I think this'll be the first time anyone ever in the history of wrestling ever has tapped out from a chinlock!”
McNally: “The Chinlock might not be world renowned for it's match ending capabilities Edison but you musn't underestimate it. It may not finish fights but it sure as Hell hurries up the process.”
Edison: “Definitely not if Mainer just sits there and takes it. I thought this guy could outwrestle Senator!”
You thought right Eddie. Mainer flicks up his boot catching Freeman in the head. Ordinarily this wouldn't faze the challenger but given that he's lost way more blood than Mainer has it sends him staggering back uncontrollably towards the ropes. Mainer rolls onto his front, slams his hands into the ground and pushes up to his feet to build some energy. As Freeman runs back to stop Mainer before he gets any momentum he receives a huge shin kick to the chest, the powerful leg of Mainer crashing into the challenger. Freeman flies backwards again and goes face-first into the cage. Freeman bounces off but Mainer is quick to follow up the assault hooking Freeman before he can fall and dropping him hard with a back suplex as the adrenaline starts to flow.
McNally: “Wow! This is intense. The champion is coming back now, against all odds and you have to wonder what is going through his mind right now?”
Edison: “Fight or flight, Maxy. Mainer wins or loses his career, that's exactly what happens!”
Mainer throws his arms up to the live audience to get them cheering and chanting as Freeman lies in the centre of the ring. It's time to start laying the foundations for the finale as Freeman staggers to his feet slowly. He stumbles and drops to one knee but then regains his posture and stands up. Freeman turns to face Mainer who is already waiting for him to deliver a brutish slap open hand bitch slap right across the chops. Spit flies across the ring as the crowd go “OOOH!” at the impact. Mainer starts the proceedings with a stiff kick to the thigh followed by a boot to the stomach, a shin kick to the chest and a swinging side elbow to the face as Mainer unleashes a flurrying furious combos of brutal muay thai strikes.
McNally: “Oh my, Mainer is giving Mr. Freeman a run for his money here with that beautiful series of martial arts strikes!”
Freeman swings a big right hand back at Mainer but Mainer catches the wrist and hits a Double Elbow Slash, forward then back to bring a lot of mouth blood out of the challenger. Mainer then takes Freeman to the mat with a big time High Angle Snapmare Takeover putting Freeman on the floor. With a stamp to the chest of the challenger, Mainer then takes to the ropes to hit a Springboard Back Elbow drop right to the chest. The crowd increase in pitch as Mainer now has this match completely in his control. Mainer cups his ear with one hand ala The Hulkster to gauge more of a reaction out. They respond in kind, their cheers and cries echoing enough to make the walls bleed as Mainer re-energizes off of crowd participation.
Edison: “WOAAAH! The building is starting to shake Maxy! The building is starting to shaaaaake!”
McNally: “Ladies and gentlemen we are reaching FEVER pitch here. This match is getting competitive but it seems now that Danny Mainer has all the momentum in the world to win this one! Come on kid, you can do it!”
Mainer points to the sky with enthusiasm as now it's his turn to do some serious damage. Slapping his chest as Freeman groggily starts to lift his shoulders off the ground Mainer walks towards the cage door corner. He raises a fist in the air and turns as Freeman gets up to one knee now. With a bellowing war cry Mainer thunders across the ring and with a big jump cracks a flying Muay Thai knee with THE FLATLINER! or at least he would if Freeman didn't barrel to the side in the nick of time. Mainer lands on one knee only to get NAILED across the head with a SHINING AXE KICK! With speed so fast it'll make your head hurt, Mainer's head bounces off the mat like a basketball on a gym floor. Mainer lies in a pool of his own dribble on the mat as Freeman cackles with madness seeing the end in sight. The crowd cheers Freeman if only for the amazing speed transaction that just occurred. The crowd turn to boo again when Freeman rolls Mainer onto his back and hooks both legs.
McNally: “UHOH! If this is a three count Jason Freeman can escape the cage!”
ONE!
TWO!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO! KICKOUT!Edison: “NO! Mainer kicks out. And Freeman can't believe his eyes!” Freeman starts clawing at his own hair and screaming at the referee. He simply can't believe that Mainer despite losing at least a pint of blood has just kicked out of his finishing manoeuvre. This simply would not do, no no no sir! Mainer sits up, still delirious not even aware he's just kicked out of one of the most potent finishing moves in the game. Freeman grabs Mainer by his shaved head and hauls ass taking him off the mat. Pushing him back up against the cage he throws Mainer across the ring with an Irish Whip sending him crashing to the mat with a shoulder block on the return. Freeman then runs to one side and delivers a sliding dropkick straight to the back of the downed Mainer with one boot connecting to the neck. Mainer spasms and rolls around in pain as Freeman takes control of the match for good. McNally: “This isn't looking good now, Mainer may have kicked out but he's still delirious. Freeman is in COMPLETE control, he is focused and running the show and he damn sure knows it. Freeman doesn't get any more dangerous than when he's certain in the knowledge he has total domination.” Freeman bounces to his feet and shakes the grogginess out of his head. He wipes the blood out of his eyes then looks at Mainer who isn't moving yet. He grabs Mainer by his head with one hand and looks out to the audience then drags him off the mat. Freeman slams a boot into Mainer's stomach hunching him over before dropping him with a big time European Uppercut. Mainer then attempts the Spicy Drop Invented Firemans Carry Pancake. He drags Mainer to the centre of the ring on his shoulders and this the full impact, his head bouncing off the mat. ONE!
TWO!
KICKOUT!Freeman is surprised still that he Mainer once again kicked out of the Inverted Firemans Carry Pancake but lives with it. He drags Mainer to his feet and delivers a thunderous slap across the face to make a statement. This alertens the bloodied up Mainer as Freeman attempts a Stalling Neckbreaker but gets shoved off by the champion. Freeman doesn't stop though, he keeps running towards the ropes as Mainer twirls around and by the time Freeman has come back he's already in the air for a Running Bicycle Kick but Mainer darts underneath the leg much to Freeman's frustration. Freeman whirls around and out of nowhere Mainer leaps up and grabs Freeman's head, the crowd go nuts knowing exactly what's to come as Mainer nails The Straight Flush! Freeman's skull cracks off the knee and he bounces rolling onto his back in an unconscious stupor. The fans are stunned, Mainer's stunned, Freeman's incapacitated and the world is saved yet again. McNally: “In the name of our Lord, that was incredible speed! Mainer has it! This is over! Get the pin Mainer! Save your damn career!” Edison: “No... no for once Maxy I think I'm seeing more than you do. I think Mainer's got something planned here. Just hush down and watch, alright? Trust me on this.” McNally: “Okay but-” Edison: “Sh!” Edison and McNally watch intently as Mainer crawls up to one knee with Freeman unconscious in the centre of the ring, his head pointed towards one turnbuckle and his feet pointed towards the opposing one. Mainer places a hand on Freeman's chest and the referee slides to make the count but Mainer stops and turns to face the turn buckle. Mainer smiles and the crowd go wild as they know EXACTLY what the world's heavyweight champion has planned. He scales the turnbuckle, step by step until finally he stands tall atop the cage his head perilously close to the razor wire. He stumbles a little as he stands up straight but ultimately has no trouble as Jason Freeman lies flat-out, face up on the mat with nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, no Ascendancy to bail him out. It's time for Mainer to extract his most glorious revenge. The fans are singing along already. It's over. Edison: “Uhoh! Dave Mustaine will be raking in royalties somewhere right now!” McNally: “This is it!” “A TOUT LE MONDE! A TOUT MES AMIS! JE VOIS AIME! JE DROIR PARTIR! THESE ARE THE LAST WORDS, I'LL EVER SPEAK! AND THEY'LL SET ME FREE!” Despite all the agony, all the suffering that Jason Freeman has put him through in the last few weeks nothing quite compares as to getting his sweet revenge right now. Despite his face looking like a chopping board and blood dribbling out of every patch of skin across his body he can still weakly bring himself to smile as the crowd chant and cheer for him. Finally, the eagle takes flight and lands perfectly with the A Tout Le Monde Frog Splash connecting perfectly. Mainer bounces on the landing and rolls to the side of Freeman as Freeman screams in agony, the move executed flawlessly. Cameras flashed everywhere as Mainer lay to one side of Freeman with barely the blood in him to lift his arm and drape it over his challenger. Using every last bit of strength in him he lifts himself off the mat and makes the cover making sure to hook the leg for good measure. McNally: “A TOUT LE MONDE! A TOUT LE MONDE! A TOUT LE MONDE! By Lord what an impact! That's like a Flying Fortress bomber being shot out of the sky and crashing right on top of you, there's no survival! Mainer just needs to capitalize and make the cover so that cage door can open!” Edison:ONE!

THREE!
With that, the referee outside by the cage door gets to work on the difficult task of removing not one but three padlocks and a chain from around the door. It's a lengthy procedure indeed but already RAF on the outside has one padlock off which clunks to the floor noisily as he throws it to one side. Like a safe cracker in some bizarre bank heist, RAF feverishly works to get the job done even though neither man is in any condition to crawl his way out the cage. A few moments later and the second padlock is off as well as the chain. The job is almost done as Mainer now falls off of Freeman and lands face-first onto the mat in a puddle of his own saliva yet again. Mainer slowly tries to push his way to his feet while Freeman remains lifeless. Mainer pushes up onto all fours as he watches the cage door come open as the crowd cheer and egg on the champion to escape.
McNally: “Come on Mainer! Climb out the cage, go, GO, GO! Beat Jason Freeman, keep the title and your career and create your legacy! Come on Dan, you can do it!”
Edison: “Just... just watch Max.”
Mainer on all fours simply doesn't have the energy to even crawl out the cage as Freeman shows absolutely no inclination towards the idea of moving. Mainer shakes his shaved head from side to side trying to clear out the psychological cobwebs. It's all smooth sailing now, he just has to put one hand forward and then the next. Crawl, like a baby. Simple as. Mainer starts a slow crawl but only gets about three steps before his arms can't support his weight and he crashes onto his own face. Gritting his teeth, he slams a fist into the ground and realizes his best bet to do this is to get onto his legs which are his strongest muscles. He can collapse to the mat when he's outside, right? He slowly forces his way up to a kneeling position as the crowd chant and scream his name. RAF watches carefully awaiting Mainer to escape the cage and this hellish match as now Mainer comes within moments of regaining his belt.
Edison: “He's nearly escaped the cage, just a few more steps Maxy and he's outta' there. Pay attention.”
McNally: “He's so close he can taste escape! Hurry!”

Mainer finally using every single ounce of desperation in his brain forces himself to his feet. It takes all the effort in the world but he gets there and despite being barely able to see through sweat and blood he can see the cage door in front of him. The crowd continue to boom their support as Mainer sees the prize in front of him. Only half the right to go right? It's so close that he can sense it sizzling his tonsils and he takes baby-steps staggering towards the cage door. Finally as Mainer approaches the turnbuckle he smiles again knowing that this match is his but in his mind something flashes. Thoughts, a hurricane of thoughts snaps into his frontal cortex and he stops dead in his tracks to the bewilderment of the fans.
McNally: “Why has he stopped?!”
Edison: “I told you... watch.”
Mainer's pause lasts about four seconds which is four seconds too long as Freeman has not only made his way to his feet but is now on his fourth or fifth wind from this brutal cage match. With a fore-arm to the back of the head Mainer falls face first into the turnbuckle and yells in pain. Freeman wastes no time as he then hooks it up for those that didn't stop believing. The Journey's End connects and Mainer's head springs up off the mat in pure impact. It's amazing that Freeman can even lift Mainer but then desperation does amazing things. Once the impact is connected, Freeman claws his way out underneath the bottom rope like the worm he is and quickly scrabbles and scratches his way down the steps. Wanting to leave the cage on his feet, Freeman pushes himself up to his feet slowly but surely as Mainer lies flat-out on the mat inside the ring with the crowd booing hysterically. Freeman now standing straight on the stairs smirking at his hating audience he takes one last look back at Mainer who an incredibly eery way is now sat up.
McNally: “This is over! I can't bare to watch, Mainer is about to get retired in the Novgorod Enclosure! Mainer's amazingly sat up but he knows that he do anything about it.”
Edison: “Look at his face though Maxy? No emotion. He's not angry, nor sad he's about to get retired. Yes, he's moments away from having his career ended but something tells me that there's more to this than meets the eye. I think something made Mainer hesitate and that same thing is why he's showing no emotion.”
McNally: “You don't mean?”
Edison: “Yeah, I mean.”
Rightfully said, Mainer has no expression on his face. He looks almost at ease. He's by no means happy by this but he looks more focused than ever. He's not delirious, in fact he's in complete control of his own actions right now which makes him siitting all the more eery. Freeman simply ahakes his head as he crashes out onto the ma outside the ring. Mainer does the same, his head meeting the mat as soon as RAF calls for the bell.
Jones: “The winner of this match and NEWWWWWWWWW Alpha Championship World Heavyweight Champion.... JASON FREEMAAAAAAAAN!”

Edison: “That's it, that's the match. Like Jason or hate him, you have to give him props. He didn't screw Mainer over, he didn't break the rules. Sure he did many underhanded things on the road here but the Jason Freeman that we see now is the same Jason Freeman that beat Alicia Laureano at Omega Effect V and the same Jason Freeman that beat BK London at Omega Effect VI. Freeman was in the zone and as a result... well.”
Jones: “As a result of Danny Mainer's actions prior to the match and a stipulation introduced by Chairman Hawthorne, I must also announce that as a result of this match Danny Mainer must LEAVE ACW forever!”
The crowd boo this even more than they do the announcement that Jason Freeman is the champion. They can barely believe their eyes, Hell, Jason can barely believe his ears. He's just retired one of the longest running veterans in wrestling today. This is gonna' be one for him to brag about for many months to come. “Ugly” by The Exies hits the soundsystem and Freeman having been awarded the gold by RAF quickly makes his departure up the ramp raising his arms and celebrating. The cage slowly gets raised up as EMT's contemplate whether they should go do something about Mainer or not. Once the music of Freeman has died down, Mainer slowly wriggles to his feet. He struggles but by God he finally gets there. With the cage suspended above the ring, Phillip Jones already knows to slide Mainer a microphone but despite that cue Mainer doesn't need it. A tear rolls down his cheek as he sees everone on in the building give him a standing ovation. Cheers and cries of joy, “You're our Champ” chants breaking out. It's a heart-warming finale.
McNally: “Danny maybe leaving now but these fans are sure as Hell giving him a send off!”
Edison: “You bet, and believe me that man right there Danny Mainer has earned every second of his successes and the send off they're giving him now.”
Mainer facing one side of the crowd drops to his knees and bows, worshipping the audience before him multiple times as he kisses the ground in a display of appreciation to his fans. He turns 90 degrees to the right and does the same again, bowing over and over again but this time slamming a fist into the ground to control his tears. Mainer isn't crying over the ending of his career but how great these fans are being. How understanding. Mainer turns another 90 degrees and worships the other side of the crowd causing everyone to get louder and louder, the lions roar of the audience reaching a deafening point. Mainer finally turns to the titantron side of the crowd and watches himself worship the crowd on the titantron. “A Tout Le Monde” hits again as Danny Mainer says goodbye to the ACW audience for a final time, rolling out underneath the bottom rope milking this moment for every last second he can as the screen fades to black.

Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Standing at the back exit of the ACW arena, Danny Mainer is now cleaned up and somewhat stable though he might be high on pain killers. It doesn't matter, the King of Vegas and ACW's perfect protagonist holds his Motorola RAZR to his ear making a phone call that will depending on what happens determines his future. Danny sighs heavily knowing that it's a late hour to call but the person he's calling has to pick up. Everything sprawls on a pin right now. It's do or die..
Female Voice: “Hello? Who is this?”
Daniel Masterson: “Hello.”
Caitlynn Dufraisne: “Who is this and how did you get this number?”
Daniel Masterson: “Baby, it's me.”
Caitlynn Dufraisne: “D-... Danny? Is that you? I told you not to call me any more.”
Daniel Masterson: “You'd be amazed what I'm capable of. I know you were watching Seven Deadly Sins tonight.”
Caitlynn Dufraisne: “I-... what do you want Dan?”
Daniel Masterson: “Were you watching?”
Caitlynn Dufraisne: “Ye... yes. Why? Just because your career is over doesn't mean I'm going to roll over and take you back..”
Daniel Masterson: “Y'know, if anyone on any other night had ended my career I would've been upset and furiously looking for any contractual loophole in the book to try and worm my way back in to the business but no. Not now. I realized something these past few weeks y'know Caitlynn. All of my success, my wealth, my fame is great. Really it is. I'm still on the payroll 'til the end of the year for 400 thou, I'm not exactly strapped for cash right now. It's great. All of that is great and everything,. You reap what you sow, I've spent my entire life working towards buidling my career and earning more money but there's a problem with that. All my life I've put other things before the one person that I thought would always be there for me no matter what. I guess Murphy's Law comes back to bite me in the ass though huh? The one time you're certain of something it all goes to pot.”
Caitlynn Dufraisne: “What're you talking about Mainer? You're not making any sense, I-”
Daniel Masterson: “Lemme finish Caitlynn. I've put everything in my life before the person that means more to me than my life itsself. The reason I fight every day of my life, put my own body through Hell and ultimately? It was the reason I hesitated in the cage. That was a hesitation of contemplation. Is it worth fighting the fight when the one thing, the one person I care about more than anything else. The one person that I do all this for is sleeping alone in my bed believing that I broke her heart once again? Is it worth it? I never cheated on you after I proposed. I was completely faithful whether you believe that or not. It doesn't matter now, it's useless now.
Brief pause.
Daniel Masterson: The point is, I couldn't let that go to rest and if giving up my wrestling career and everything else I love in life just to put you first for once is the cost of that then it's a price I was not only willing to pay but it's a price I have paid and wouldn't change it for the world. I love you Caitlynn Dufraisne, I want to be with you and only you for the rest of my life. No exceptions. I swore my loyalties to you when I proposed. I swore my loyalties when I won that title and dedicated my victory to you. Please, Caitlynn. I would travel the world and back just to see you smile one more time, there is nothing in this life I wouldn't give to see you smile just one more time like the old times. Like back when we were kids. I hesitated inside that cage because I realized that even with all my successes if I don't have the woman I love by my side to enjoy it with then it's not worth anything..”
Caitlynn Dufraisne: -choked up- “Danny... I...”
Daniel Masterson: “I can understand if you don't wanna talk to me ever again. I'm a disgusting lecherous man and I've done vile, torturous things that've hurt you. If my sacrifice isn't good enough for you then fine. It's a cross I'm willing to bare, I know I didn't deserve a second chance in the first place but-”
Caitlynn Dufraisne: “Dan just... be quiet for a minute.”
SIlence. This carries for a few seconds as Mainer's ear burns intently against the phone.
Caitlynn Dufraisne: “Dan... aght-awlkwdklwe.”
Daniel Masterson: “Say that again, you're breaking up.”
Caitlynn Dufraisne: “I said the keys are under the door mat. Wake me up when you get home.”
Daniel Masterson: “Alright mama bear, I'll see you soon. I love you.”
Caitlynn Dufraisne: “I love you too papa bear.”
Dialling tone. Mainer stops and heads for the fire escape doors. He's dressed in jeans and an open button shirt, the blood has been cleaned off him and he now has a big-ass plaster on his head with blood trickling out. He shouldn't be allowed to drive in this condition but he probably will. Mainer takes a step out into the night and looks back at the hallowed halls of his old employer and smiles fondly as memories flood his mind.
Danny Mainer remembers the beginning of his career in ACW with The Paragon of Chaos and the late Ross Lambert, getting slammed through plate glass by XS3 at his first Omega Effect.
Danny Mainer remembers leaving to run GWF and then coming back sometime later to join Entourage finding success as the International Champion by beating Fallen Souls.
Danny Mainer remembers losing the title to Jon Taylor and regaining it again by beating Dan White & Jake Cheng in a triple threat.
Danny Mainer remembers defeating Jake Cheng in a best of three match at his second Omega Effect to retain the International Championship.
Danny Mainer remembers becoming The Psycho Butcher and the careers and lives he ruined in his blood-thirsty war against ACW's upper-echelon including slitting Thunderkiss's throat and destroying Phenomenal's last memories of his true love.
Danny Mainer remembers destroying Chris Phenomenal mentally and having a gunfight with him on the roof of the ACW building.
Danny Mainer remembers winning The Crucible and disappearing for the best part of a year only to have his contract stolen.
Danny Mainer remembers getting it back and using it fair and square to take the title from Chris Phenomenal at Fallen Heroes.
Danny Mainer remembers defending that title against his arch-nemesis Chris Phenomenl at Omega Effect and retaining it in front of his hometown fans, his family and his friends.
Danny Mainer remembers the buzz he felt whether it be as loved by the fans or hated by them to hear them roar as he stepped out of the curtain.
Danny Mainer will always remember ACW, just like they will always remember him. As he takes the final steps of his career out of the fire escape and into the cold night sky we close a chapter in not just the book of Danny Mainer but in the book of ACW. We say goodbye to a man that forever proved that no matter what the odds, you can always strive to be better than the next guy and with enough determination anything is possible.
Thank you.
Fade.
End Show.

First apologies, again for my lacklustre showing. It hopefully shan't happen again.
Onto the show, it was great. A big win for Buddy Ghee, making it three PPV in a row for him. He appears primed to make a big run. Same goes for Cole after putting Wellington down ... who I hope has just been suffering from the start of term blues. Great work from Thiago and Laron, who are in many ways the highlight of the show. TK is incredible as always and from what I've heard FSX is a major addition to the roster, welcome back amigo.
Congrats go to Freeman on the win, and to Danny for a great reign. I can honestly say that I'm so proud of you dude, not just for it but for real life.
I'll add more once it goes up, and again, I'm sorry ACW. Newsletter tomorrow.
