Senatorial Feedback commences....now!

SEGMENT TITLE: Trial By Fire
(Credit: Scorpion, CP)
Excellent read here, reminded me a bit of one of the latter episodes of 24's final season, and the athmosphere was really well done. And don't think I missed that white rose at the end, very cryptic stuff here, and while the sheer density of the writing might turn some readers away, they'll be missing out on some of the best stuff in ACW.
SEGMENT 1
Credit: Danny Mainer
Mr. Mainer with the original titles:) One can only wonder where his character goes when he's not on television, but it was good to see Danny show up here.
Segment: Dissapointment (Credit: Freeman)
The back and forth segs between the main eventers was a nice touch, Freeman came across as extremely cold and calculating here.
Segment: Nothin' you can do
Credit: Jon Taylor
Taylor's as crazy as ever, even in this short offering.
Oh, Thank Heaven
Seth Chambers
Interesting seg by the new guy, who appears to picture himself as superior to anyone in the industry...one can only wonder what to expect from an individual with that sort of a mindset. Anyone who's never read the short story the last line was quoted from should do so, btw.
Freeman/Taylor
A superior seg to Taylor's shorter one, and seeing Taylor get the best of Freeman in their verbal jousting was a nice touch, reminding us how he can hold his own in the manipulations game.
Laron/Thiago
Both segs are what you'll expect from the two goofballs, nuff said:) BIG upset from the two, over CP, as well, but then again, CP isn't exactly racking up the wins at this time... Also, even a car can be armbarred!
Backstabber (CP and Big Frank)
BIG FRANK. I need only to sum this seg up with one hilarious quote:
Frank: Yes, and now look at where you are. Losing to two people who can’t even speak English.
Ramble Ramble Money
Dan White
Welcome to the team, Mr. White!! Always been a Royles fan, as you well know, and it was nice seeing them going about the logic of why Dan didn't jump into the tag match earlier in the month.
Segment: Re-acquaintance, Parts 1-2-3 (Credit: Freeman)
Phil? Who the heck is Phil? Well, he's Freeman's old trainer, and as we progress, he is a bit of a crochety old man, the anti-Tim Dwight, if you will. But then again, if Jason Freeman was your prime student, well, who could blame a man? And true to form, Freeman is nasty and vindictive! Who would have guessed? Well, in any case, I really enjoyed these segs, as they didn't result in some stupid cliched heart attack or physical violence, and I can see Freeman wanting to go off and do that, we even see a bit of his insecurity at the end, very nice touch for this show.
Segment 2
Credit: Danny Mainer
The best of the Mainer segs on this show, Hawthorne comes off as a heartless son of a gun, that's for sure.
New Beginnings
written, casted, directed & edited by Claude LeBatard
Frenchie returns! And can't get out of his limo, hah!
"Claude: Which reminds me Maurice, where is your french accent!? I demand you use ze french accent in my presence as a mark of honour for my ‘ome country!"
This is going to be a fun run:)
Segment: Capital Preparation
(Credit: Senator)
Ok, yeah, it's my own seg, but I did want to mention a few things about this one, which I'm rather proud of. I didn't even intend to write this, but I realized I had no Senatorial segs on this show, so I postponed the posting of the event to put this together. It ended up going from being a slapdash effort to something I became totally engrossed in. Hopefully, the rest of you enjoyed it, too.
Main Event: Danny Mainer and TJ vs Jason Freeman and Jon Taylor
Not a match, but it sure sets up the main event of SDS nicely!
The End (CP and Scorpion)
Heckova twist here at the end of the show, and I'll admit CP got me with his little bungee trick, albeit, not as bad as he did Scorpion, within the seg.
“THUNDERKISS RETURNS”
Credit: Thunderkiss
THIS IS HOW TO CLOSE A SHOW! The TK hype train is back on track, jack! Nobody does this thing better than TK, and this seg just reminds me what our shows are missing when he's not writing for them with this sort of enthusiasm.
That said, for shame, with that horrendous plan, and double shame on the Kiss Army for actually going along with it, even if it might go against their own personal interests!
