Segment: Tensions (Credit: Freeman/Cole/Senator)
Omega Effect VI has come and gone. As after any wrestling card, there were some who were feeling triumphant off a victory, and some who had just felt the sting of defeat. One of the latter men was Ryan Cole. He was sure that The Crucible was his chance to make an impact on the wrestling world, and get a step up to the ACW championship, but it did not happen. While he had come close, it was not to be, and who knew when another opportunity such as that would come? It is because of this that on this night, he isn’t in the best of moods. To make things worse, he has no match tonight and cannot even take out his frustrations on an opponent in the ring. Left to brood in his own anger, he is just searching for somebody to take it out on.
Then Jason Freeman walks in the door. Ryan Cole eyes with him with something like disgust.
Cole: Well, well if it isn't Jason Freeman! Nice of you to show up.
Freeman: What do you mean?
Cole: What do I mean? The first thing I did after Omega Effect was attempt to contact you…to discuss our plans from here on out.I deserve to be kept in the loop Jason. It’s a new ACW year, Omega Effect is over, and I THOUGHT we would discuss what to do going forward, but it seemed you weren't interested as you were unreachable for two weeks! I don't appreciate being ignored!
Freeman: Ah. I understand you're frustrated after your loss at Omega Effect but you see, unfortunately I cannot always be sitting there waiting for a call from Ryan Cole so that I can discuss plans with you whenever you see fit.
Cole: I only lost bec-. Never mind, where were you that was so important then Jason?
Freeman:I was quite…busy…over the break.
Cole: Busy? With WHAT? What do you possibly have to do? I had to recover from The Crucible and I still attempted to contact you! What is it!
The look on Freeman’s face right now is one that confuses Cole. For some reason, Freeman’s face is one of triumph. In fact, since coming in the door Freeman has seemed in a good mood, which is rare, and Cole had attributed it to his victory over BK London at Omega Effect. But there seemed to be something more there, as if Freeman had something up his sleeve (which, to be fair, he usually did.) This time seemed slightly different than most, though, this was the same triumph Ryan Cole had sensed from Freeman when Freeman was about to go forth with his plan to use his attack on BK London as a gateway to a world title shot. Cole’s suspicions seemed proved when Freeman finally answers his question. Freeman merely smirks, and answers ominously.
Freeman: You’ll see.
Cole: Lovely…the man of mysteries. Well, don’t you think that maybe I should be informed of some of your plans? I'm not just a lackey for you, that's not the way this works. What happened to us working together?
Freeman: We will. But this is a step I had to take on my own. Starting next week, I will be in great need of your assistance.
It is then that the Senator enters the room. Both men stop talking and look up at Phillips. Neither man seems too happy at his appearance. Ryan Cole has not even seen the Senator backstage since he allowed them to assault BK London, but he had been under the impression that the Senator would be taking a more active role in the group. But here he was, the first time in a month that Ryan Cole has even encountered him.
Cole: Oh, Fantastic. The surprises never stop. I'm honoured you decided to grace us with you presence, should I bow or curtsy?
Freeman: If you’re referring to the scarce presence of Phillips in our group to this date, then I must agree with your sentiments. But it seems that Phillips is a little too busy to help us out in the ring.
Senator: I see that your monumentous win at Omega Effect has not made you very much more pleasant. Well, nevertheless, I need to discuss something with you Freeman.
Cole: Now the rich boy is all we need, and we'll have our whole happy family together. You know what? If it weren’t for him I would have won the Crucible at Omega Effect! The only thing he contributed was being thrown off a ladder by me!
Freeman: I take it you aren’t too happy with Wellington’s presence. Well, I’m happy to inform you that you won’t have to worry anymore.
Cole: What?
Freeman: Well, as you saw, Wellington did not perform well at Omega Effect - losing two matches. And he has shown no interest in any group effort. While I believed that Wellington would be of assistance, I’ve deemed him now useless, and thus there is no need for him to hang around any longer. He proved to me that he was not what I was looking for. There are others who could be used much more effectively than he, and I have no intentions of stopping when momentum is on my side.
Cole: Oh, and where do you plan to find somebody else? Wrestlers good enough to be in the same group as me are few and far between.
Freeman: I already have.
Cole: You have? Where? How? Who?
Freeman: That you shall find out when everybody else does.
Cole: Ah, another secret from our glorious leader. Well, fine, I’ll play your game and find out tonight. What does it matter to me? I hope you picked somebody good this time, because Wellington wasn’t even in our league. You know what? I’m in no mood for this today, I’m out of here. This better be worth the suspense Freeman.
And he leaves, leaving Senator and Freeman alone. Freeman looks towards the door after Cole for a couple seconds, before turning back to the Senator. Freeman cocks his head to the side, and regards the Senator with waiting eyes. The Senator has stated that he has to discuss something, and Freeman is wondering whether that is a good thing or a bad thing.
Freeman: You were saying something?
Senator: I have found that I am ready to return to active competition. My match against Yoko Satoshi at Omega Effect, while I ultimately lost the match, it nevertheless has made me realize that I still have more matches left in my old body. Therefore once again, it seems I will be returning from retirement.
Freeman: Returning to the ring? Well, finally some good news. We may be needing you in the future.
Senator: That is why I have come to talk to you. As I have said before, while I am willing to plan with you, I do not think that you need my assistance in actually carrying out the work. You have done fine without me, and while the loss of Wellington puts us one down, you have already stated you have found another man. Everything seems to be going your way recently. You defeated BK London at Omega Effect - in a fine match, I must say - and I am sure you were happy to see Ryan Cole and Wellington take each other out of the Crucible just as you had hoped. Everything is going according to your plans, so what need to you have of me in the ring? I am sure Ryan Cole and whoever else you have found will do fine for you in any attacks you need to carry out.
Freeman: Yes, things have been going well, and that is going to continue tonight…however, that doesn’t mean that I will not be requiring more manpower in the future. You see, Phillips, here’s the problem. I don’t trust you, and the more time goes on, the less and less you seem to be committing to the group. That tells me that you really have no interest in furthering our goals. That tells me that I can’t even rely on you, and that I can’t trust you, and that possibly you shouldn’t even be here. Before your excuse was you wanted to watch from the sidelines and not get involved, but now that you will be wrestling again, I fail to see the excuse. If you are going to wrestle, you will be an active part of this group, because if you are not then you aren’t trying to make this a success.
Senator: I am returning to the ring to test myself physically, and see what I am still capable of. I have had a long career, and I am no longer interested in backing up grand schemes in the ring. It was clear that my role would be one of a strategist, which I am more than happy to assist you with, even with your sudden onset of hostility!
Freeman: You see, the problem is that’s just not good enough Phillips.
There is another tense staredown between the two, leaving the fans to wonder exactly why these two continue to remain allied together, when there clearly is no end to the bad blood. They have not liked each other for years, and nothing much has changed. Freeman is getting more than frustrated with this alliance, because he thought that together they would be extremely powerful, yet all he is getting is half of Steve Phillips. While the Senator’s brain is certainly sharp, and he has been an assistance in scheming, Freeman also wants the assistance of the ring veteran. The man who even at his old age can beat some of the best young ACW superstars around. It seems that until something changes between these two, this tension is going to continue, and who knows how long it will be until something breaks?
Senator: Enough. I understand that you did not want to tell Mr. Cole your plans for tonight, but I do wish to hear what you have been doing. I also noticed the lack of contact over the Omega Effect break, and if you were truly busy with something, what might it have been? And then there is the question of this mysterious new addition to the group, whom I am completely ignorant of...
Freeman: Hm. You know what? You’ll find out when Ryan Cole does. Maybe if you get a little more involved, I’ll consider keeping you a bit more informed. And as for the member to the group? Well you may find the choice interesting, but I have decided not to consult you, so you’re just going to have to deal with the consequences. Goodbye, Phillips. Perhaps by next week you’ll reconsider, and then we can talk again. Right now, I have plans to finalize.
And Freeman leaves the room, a little angrily. The Senator shakes his head. It seemed there was just no reasoning with Jason Freeman. But what of Jason Freeman’s plans? There seem to be two things that still need to be figured out. Number 1, who is this mystery addition to the group, and number 2, what exactly was Jason Freeman doing over the Omega Effect break? And what do both of those things mean for the future of ACW? Will those answers come tonight? Many impatient fans hope so, as they are not looking forward to waiting. But they are going to have to find out as soon as everybody else does.
Fade.

"Why You, Why Now" (Credit: Rattlesnake)
With his return official, everyone now knows what has been on Rattlesnake's mind for so long. If it wasn't evident before, it surely is now. With him being the mystery entrant in the Crucible match, Rattlesnake has set his sights on the one title that has eluded him in three attempts...the World Heavyweight Championship.
Plagued by failures, it's almost as if he would do anything to get his hands on that elusive title. But at what cost? What would the consequences be for such an action? It seems as if that one thing just showed up out of the blue as he departed Omega Effect.
Snake and Cobra don't exactly have the best history. Their personalities clash really badly. Their ideals are completely different. However, one thing's for sure, no matter what goal they have, they'll do just about anything to get it. It's true there are other similarities. But they aren't really pertinent for what is really at hand.
Snake and Cobra are like two sides of the same coin. Maybe a two-headed coin. Through the years, Snake and Cobra have had quite the internal battle. It's been more than just a back and forth contest. It's about dominance, control...freedom, the ability to show presence. Each of them has done that.
For the most part, the dominant one has been Rattlesnake. But that's not to say Cobra hasn't had his share of dominance. Being the more evil of the two, he's been able to emerge through his brilliance and ability to plan out just how to do it. But in the end, Snake perseveres. The only difference this time is Cobra wants to help Snake. While surprising, it's not entirely unheard of. But the one question that crosses Rattlesnake's mind is just "what is he planning this time?" as Cobra and helping just don't belong together.
Snake sits, pondering the encounter he never thought would have been possible.
Rattlesnake: Something just doesn't add up. After everything we've been through, he wants to help me. I don't get it. His motives don't make any sense. What could he possibly gain from this?
What could Cobra gain? Could he be lying in wait, looking for a chance to strike Snake when he least expects it? Could he just say he's going to help and do nothing? Could he be telling the truth, that he actually will help?
If he does help, what could he possibly want in return? Control? Maybe he wants to be out for good? This struggle has seemingly gone on long enough. Once it seemed to be nothing but a memory, Cobra managed to appear and be twice as bad.
Unforgiving, malice, deceitful...words synonymous with Cobra and yet, he's insistent on helping. Helping isn't in Cobra's repertoire.
Rattlesnake: What could it possibly be?
Cobra: Trying to comprehend it all?
Rattlesnake: Yeah, I am. It doesn't add up. After everything you've done, everything you've put me through, you're trying to be there for me.
Cobra laughs for a second.
Cobra: That's true. I am trying to be here for you. You look like you could use some help.
Rattlesnake: But every time you get involved with me, it doesn't end well!
Cobra: You're always looking at the bad aspects. Look at the good ones this time.
Rattlesnake: WHAT GOOD ONES?! There are no good aspects that could possibly come of this!
Cobra: Hey, relax. You're missing the bigger picture. You want what I want, but I'm not sure who wants it more. You seem to, but you choke when it comes down to it. I haven't had the opportunity. I want it. I want to show you that it's possible to become the ACW World Champion. I want to show you that you can get your hands on the one thing that will make your ACW existence mean something.
Snake quickly jumps on the defensive side of the situation with that comment. It's true though. When it comes down to it, it's always been Rattlesnake and not Cobra going for the World Championship. Not once has Cobra had his chance. But to say that Snake's ACW existence means nothing can't possibly be true.
Rattlesnake: Hey now. My existence in ACW has meant something. I found someone that I can care about.
Cobra: And her lesbian lover beat you in the ring. The lesbian lover that is much smaller than you are. Face facts, you've been beat by the same woman both times you faced her.
Rattlesnake: At least she didn't shove a bloody tampon in my mouth.
Cobra: Yes, but that's not the point.
Rattlesnake: Right. What is the point is that I was once a part of the greatest stable in ACW, the Senatorial Stable.
Cobra: And do you remember the power struggle at the end of your time there? Hunter and Senator wouldn't give you anything even though you were the leader.
Rattlesnake: I remember. But what about my win at Emperor of the Ring in 2006?
Cobra: What about the failed title shot against Chance Emmerson at Bloody Valentine 2007? You used your title shot then and failed miserably.
Rattlesnake: Well, I was once the International Champion and a Tag Team Champion. Not at the same time, but I held both of those titles.
Cobra: So? Want a fucking medal?
Rattlesnake: What the fuck is your problem then?
Cobra: You've become confused. Confused with the fact that you consider yourself a borderline legend, that you should be a Hall of Famer.
Rattlesnake: I should be. I've beaten most of the 2010 Hall of Fame class. I've had accolades that some of them never had. Just through sheer accomplishments, I should have been recognized. But I wasn't.
Cobra: And why was that?
Rattlesnake thought about that for a second. Just why was it like that? He thinks about it some more and eventually his eyes open a little wider.
Cobra: Figured it out?
Rattlesnake: Most of them are World Champions while the rest have shown dominance elsewhere.
Cobra: Exactly. Each of them was tenacious enough to get what they wanted. You, on the other hand, haven't. But that's not to say you haven't been tenacious at all by any means. You have been, just not to the scale that's needed.
Rattlesnake: And you can help me with that?
Cobra: Think about it for a second. I've done stuff to you for how long now?
Rattlesnake nods.
Rattlesnake: I see you're point. But don't think I trust you at this point. It's going to take a lot to convince me to trust you.
Cobra: I can't say I didn't expect that. But you'll see. You'll see. You won't be disappointed.
Rattlesnake: Why do I get the feeling this is going to be about as awkward as it is unnerving?
Who knows? Maybe this will work out just fine. Then again, maybe not. Nothing is certain as of now, but maybe someone will shed some light on this soon enough.

Match 3: Buddy Ghee vs Zachariah Sykes (Credit: Buddy Ghee)
Shining Star starts up to a chorus of cheers. Buddy Ghee bursts from the curtain at the horn sting, as he always does, and performs his fist-roll. He starts pointing at himself, pointing at others, shouting about how this is another win for him, hoping to get the crowd hyped up. He slides under the bottom rope and hops to one of the turnbuckles, where he raises his fists. He hops down to wait for his opponent.
The lights dim as a lone flute is overheard over the ACW Arena. After the flute is done, Immediate Music's "With Great Power" blasts over the speakers as Zachariah Sykes walks out from the back, head bowed down, holding The Cross in front of him. Disregarding the boos, he makes his way down to the ring and slides the Cross into the ring as he jumprs up onto the apron and climbs in. Sykes puts The Cross under the nearest turnbuckle and sheds his sleeveless jacket as he awaits for the match to begin. The referee checks the both of them for foreign objects, finding none, and signals for the match to begin
The two circle each other, Buddy looking a bit more nonchalant than Zachariah. The two lock up, but soon break apart, as neither one gained the upper hand. They lock up again, but have the same result. They circle around again before locking up, collar and elbow, once again. Zachariah is able to put Buddy in a side headlock, as Buddy grabs Zachariah's opposite shoulder, and sweeps his leg from under him. Zachariah breaks the hold, but maintains his balance, as Buddy gets him into a rear waist-lock. He then pushes him forward, into the ropes, and flips him over for a roll-up.
1!
Kickout. Zachariah runs to Buddy, but is met with an armdrag. Buddy goes for another pin.
1!
Kickout. Buddy picks Zachariah up, and Irish Whips him, only to drop down, trip Zachariah, and use his feet to throw him over. They both jump up, as Buddy hits Zachariah with yet another arm drag, and goes for a knee drop, which is dodged. Zachariah jumps to his feet, and hits the turnbuckle, leaping off for a missile dropkick which catches Buddy square in the face as he ascended to his feet. Buddy spins as he falls, and lands on his face.
Zachariah, now in control, decides to go for the arms so he can set up his patented Crucifixion. So, he locks in the Fujiwara Armbar. Wrenching back, practically rolling onto his other arm as he applies pressure, he wears down Buddy's arm. Buddy starts to raise his other hand. He turns it into a fist, and pounds it into the mat, as he raises his body, and Zachariah, to a standing position. However, Zachariah pulls him forward, slamming his head into the side of Buddy's, and causes him to fall back down.
Buddy starts groaning in pain, attempting to reach the ropes. However, each time he feels they're closer, they just feel more out of reach. Buddy soon raises himself up again, in a standing position, yanks his arm from Zachariah, and delivers a sickening throat chop. Zachariah bends over, allowing Buddy to jump up and hit him with a scissor kick. He goes for the pin!
1!
2!
Zachariah kicks out. Buddy attempts to go for a Boston Crab, but Zachariah is able to twist him off as he puts it on. As they both rise to their feet, Zachariah grabs Buddy's arm, twists into a hammerlock, pops up from under his other arm, and twists to a clothesline, a move he calls Exodus 20.
1!
2!
Buddy kicks out. Zachariah gets Buddy into a sleeper hold. Buddy is already sitting, so there's nowhere to go. Buddy doesn't seem to be fighting out of it, so the referee decides to check if he's still conscious.
1!
Buddy isn't moving.
2!
Buddy's arm falls limply to his side.
3-
In standard wrestling logic, Buddy summons the strength to keep his arm up just before it falls to his side. He lifts himself off of the ground, standing up. However, Zachariah wrenches back, bringing him to his knees again. Buddy continues to summon the strength to find his feet, holds on to the top of Zachariah's head, and drops down in a jawbreaker. Buddy rolls over, shaking his head, trying to gain a sense of what's going on.
Zachariah is already up. He attempts to go straight for the sleeper, once again, but Buddy is able to duck out of the hold before it's locked in, grabs Zachariah's shoulder, wrap his arm around his own shoulders, and sweeps his leg out from under him. Buddy instantly rises to his feet and climbs the turnbuckle. Zachariah rises up, back to Buddy, as Buddy performs a Shooting Star Press, and ends it with a DDT. The Shining Star! Buddy goes for the cover!
1!
2!
3! Shining Star fills the arena as the crowd pops. Buddy raises, as the referee raises his arm. Buddy climbs out through the ropes, and makes his way back to the curtain, high-fiving anyone close enough to get one.

Mistake?[/b]
We cut to Ryan Cole, centre of the ring microphone in hand obviously getting ready to address the ACW crowd in another ego driven rant-
Cole: You guys just don’t get it do you?
Or maybe he won’t wait.
Cole: You should be thanking me. Thanking me for in such a short time changing the face of this company, For-...
He hesitates. And then shakes his head.
Cole: No. No. You’ve heard all that before. Let’s talk about something new. Something that happened at Omega Effect that hasn’t happened before, I’m talking about MY Omega Effect moment. You all saw it right you saw what I did?
The crowd react slightly remembering Omega Effect but not wanting to give Cole the gratification.
Cole: How about a replay huh?
The crowd cheers slightly more this time.
Cole: Let’s put it up!
Cole and the whole crowd turn towards the ‘tron and stare in anticipation for the clip and wait.
And wait.
And wait.
Cole: Hah.
The crowd turn back to Cole with a flurry of boos.
Cole: Seriously? Seriously? Buy the damn DVD.
Ryan Cole paces around the ring a smile spreading on his face.
Cole: Now for those of you how actually watched Omega Effect. You know what I did in the Crucible. From the top of the ladder I sent my “associate” Theodore Wellington from all the way up there, to all the way down here with the rest of you.
The crowd have a mixed reaction enjoying the idea of Wellington but still not wanting to praise Cole.
Cole: A Manebreaker from a ladder. That is it.
Cole looks to the crowd who seem confused about how to react to that.
Cole: Do I have to explain everything to you? I should never give you people any credit.
“FUCK YOU RYAN”
Cole: Y’know in the two weeks it’s been I’ve gotta say I almost missed that.
“FUCK YOU RYAN”
Cole: Fuck you guys too. But what I suppose I have to explain to you is that in case I needed to prove again that I’m the most uniquely talented wrestler in years then I suppose I have to lay it out for you. Usually after a wrestler loses a big, big time match like the Crucible they come out and they pander to you people and they say “I made one mistake, one mistake that prevented me from winning”. You ever seen that? Of course you have. But I’m not like that. You see I didn’t make a mistake. I did what I needed to do, I got my Omega Effect moment. I etched myself into this company’s history and that’s what I needed. That image is my foothold. And now I’m going to build and build upon that image burned in to your minds and make it so that there is no one, no thing in your mind but me.
The crowd who had been trying to interrupt the entire time now erupt into boos Cole goes to speak again but the crowd picks up the volume too prevent him from doing so.
Cole: I-
“FUCK YOU RYAN”
Ryan Cole simply shrugs and drops his mic mouthing the words “You know I’m right”. He rolls out of the ring and starts up the ramp yelling to the crowd “You know I’m right!” “I’m going to be the face of this industry”
“AND YOU CAN’T STOP ME!”

CLASH OF THE TI-... nevermind Credit: Danny Mainer/TJ Stood alone backstage, The Entertainment Champion and Crucible Winner TJ was seen just minding his own, not causing any trouble (though the fans went ballistic at the sight of him) when all of a sudden the booming voice of everyone’s favourite World Champion Danny Mainer could be heard off to the side just as TJ went to leave.[Danny Mainer l The Perfect Protagonist]: "'EY, TEEJ. TJ! TJ! TJ! Wait up buddy."The gargantuan TJ stopped dead in his tracks as the voice of the world heavyweight champion Danny Mainer rang in his ears. He turned casually to face the champ, aware now that he has total power over the young world champ.The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Buddy? That’s new. What’s up Champ? [Danny Mainer l The Perfect Protagonist]: "TJ, I wanted to talk to you about that Crucible contract."The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ You mean the one I won, the one that’s similar to the one you won last year? What is that to talk about? [Danny Mainer l The Perfect Protagonist]: "I want to give you some pointers and some things to think about regarding that title shot. Y'see, I won that thing before. Just like you I beat five other guys to scale that ladder, only difference is that I was surrounded by people that are bigger than me while you by far outsized everyone else in that match which gave you a big advantage meaning I had to fight way harder to win my shot but still.”Controversial? Ooooh, the crowd wince at that comment as Mainer put his foot in his mouth again as per usual.[Danny Mainer l The Perfect Protagonist]: ”Regardless, it doesn’t really matter. We both fought damn hard to get that title shot, a shot which we can use at ANY time we want but the question is, are you ready for the primetime? Do you really think that you can handle the pressure of being world champion? Honestly TJ, take a good long hard look at yourself right in the mirror and say to yourself, Am I What This Company Can Be Built On? Can I keep that title? I didn’t know until I cashed it in. Do you honestly think a big guy like you can keep this belt, keep the fans behind you and juggle the pressure of charity events and work and all other kinds of jazz while holding onto that title.”Silence, TJ stared blankly at Mainer like he was joking while Mainer had a deadpan serious expression in response, his body stiff.[Danny Mainer l The Perfect Protagonist]: ”Because from where I’m standing I’m not so sure. You’re stronger than an ox, Hell you could easily outdo me in a weightlifting contest but it’s not about who’s the strongest and who’s the baddest. It’s about keeping your wits sharp, your head on a swivel and not resting on your laurels when things go your way. It’s about making sure you know exactly what you have to do without resorting to cheap tactics to accomplish your goals. Knowing 100% what you plan to do, then execute it flawlessly without cheating or taking half-measures. You know what I’m saying chief?”The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Yea, I do. [Danny Mainer l The Perfect Protagonist]: ”I guess what I’m saying is, don’t be a bellend. Don’t ruin this for yourself. You’re bright, you’re brilliant and you have a great future for yourself. Don’t jeopardize your legacy by making your first title run start with the cheap-fuck of waiting for me or whoever will be the champion when you choose to cash in to be at their worst. For example, after a gruesome defence or after blind-siding them with a vicious attack. Don’t do that because you’ll truly underestimate how easy it is to lose this title and how hard you have to work to keep it around your waist. Cash this title in, give myself or whoever is calling the shots plenty of warning and start your run at the top the right way with a real classic five star match. I can guarantee that even if you lose that contest, your efforts in the war will be respected all over by the ACW fans and by management and another title shot will soon be in your hands again.”Mainer smiled amiably and put a hand on TJ’s shoulder.[Danny Mainer l The Perfect Protagonist]: ”And dude, if I happen to be the one that you cash in against make sure to give me some warning because you’re a good kid and I know for a fact that when we clash in that ring that it doesn’t matter if I win or you win, the fans are going to have a match of the year candidate and something to go home happy about. Alright dude?”TJ looked at Mainer, his smile a thin smirk as he knew exactly what he was going to do.The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Yea. Look, Mainer, what you did, give Chris that heads up, while Chris deserved to get that thing cashed in on him the moment he won the title, it was a respectable thing to do. There wasn’t any excuse either, you were the better man not only the night you used your contract, but also at Omega Effect. Don’t worry, whoever is the champ is, they will get a fair warning. Mainer beamed hopefully up at TJ, happy with this turnout.[Danny Mainer l The Perfect Protagonist]: ”You’re a good man Teej, I knew-“The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Mainer, it’s not knowing when you are about to die, but what you do before then. It’s not know when I’m fighting for the world title, it what I do before then. I’ll admit, I’m a good guy, but I don’t need to break the rules to break someone. I’m the biggest guy on the roster and I’m the strongest. When I’m on my game, no one is going to beat me, only the greats will be able to walk away with the loss, the rest will be rolled out. And that’s to people who are don’t piss me off. Mainer’s face dropped but from the look on his face a fraction of a second later you could tell that the proverbial light bulb appeared above his head.[Danny Mainer l The Perfect Protagonist]: ”Well then Teej, why don’t you come to my wedding tonight? It’ll be out at ringside and it’d be nice to see you there. Hell, I’m sure there’d be a cute bridesmaid or two to hit on. In all seriousness, my fiancé has some fucking hot friends. You up for it?”The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Hot women, free food, all you need is some TVs with the Phils on and I’m in heaven. Yea, I’ll be there. With that, Mainer and TJ uneasily shook hands before going their separate ways as the screen went to black.

Match 4: TJ vs Jason Freeman (Credit: Freeman)
The crowd is very hot for this match, as it is a big one indeed. At Omega Effect both of these men greatly elevated their careers. Jason Freeman defeated BK London in BK’s final match, and TJ managed to not only defend his championship but win a chance for the world title. Since both of these stars were elevated just two weeks prior, to see them standing face to face has the makings for quite a match. The power of TJ vs the cunning of Jason Freeman. Who would manage to take the victory? There is a big match feel here tonight as the two stare each other down.
TJ makes the first move, coming forward and grabbing at Freeman, but Freeman slips to the side and begins to try to hit some elbows on the big TJ. TJ isn’t too fazed, and he returns a big right hand that connects right to Freeman, and makes Freeman draw back, almost sending him to the floor. Freeman straightens up only to be clotheslined down by the big man to great cheers from the crowd. Freeman backs into the corner, trying to create some distance between him and TJ, realizing that a direct onslaught is not going to work. Freeman approaches cautiously again, and lets TJ once more make the first move, trying to sneak behind him, but TJ elbows Freeman, and as Freeman staggers back, TJ grabs him scoop slamming him to the floor to a great reaction from the crowd. TJ backs up and hits a nice leg drop on Jason Freeman, getting an early advantage as he drops to a cover that Freeman easily kicks out of.
McNally: Freeman is most deadly when he’s in control, but it’s going to be hard for him to get in control this time. TJ is a big opponent, and Freeman wrestles more effectively against guys his own size. I’m not so sure he can defeat him.
Edison: But Freeman is cunning, and if he gets the chance to strike he can get an advantage and hold it. I give Freeman five minutes before he gets back in this thing.
Tj knows he’s gotten the advantage, and he’s feeling it, as he hears the crowd cheering for him. If he could defeat Jason Freeman tonight in just a matter of minutes, he knows it would do wonders for him, especially off of the momentum he has from Omega Effect. As Jason Freeman stands up, TJ lifts him into the air for a military press slam, and attempts to walk him to the ropes, intending to toss him out of the ring! Freeman comes to life, however, and escapes TJ’s grip, landing on the apron. TJ turns around, attempting to throw a clothesline to Freeman, but Freeman ducks under it. As TJ turns once more, Freeman leans back tossing his legs up, and hits a nice kick to TJ over the top rope, that sends TJ staggering towards the middle of the ring, and as Freeman enters the ropes, he runs forward hitting a running bicycle kick that sends TJ to the ground.
The crowd boos, as Freeman now instantly pounces on TJ and goes directly for the leg, a body part Freeman is very talented at working over. For the next minutes of the match, Freeman continues to work on the leg of TJ, with stomps, and other such moves. TJ continues to try to get to his feet, but Freeman somehow manages to keep him down, and then Freeman puts TJ’s leg over the bottom rope, jumping off the middle rope and coming down on it. Freeman covers TJ but only gets one.
Freeman, not wanting to lose this momentum, and wanting to stop the big man before he can regain momentum, waits eagerly for TJ to make his way to his feet. When he does, Freeman comes forward grabbing TJ and trying to hit his lifting complete shot. TJ is heavy though, and is able to hit some shots to make Freeman lose his grip. TJ comes forward, but freeman grabs him once more, and he abandons the lift, instead giving TJ a complete shot right to the second turnbuckle pad! This sends TJ to the ground, and Freeman covers again, once again getting a two.
McNally: Freeman needs to try to get the win now. He is smaller than TJ, and if TJ can regain momentum it’s going to hurt.
Edison: Well, I told you Freeman would get in control, and he has! Freeman has more than just a brain, he defeated BK London at Omega Effect cleanly!
Freeman decides to go for an early finish, and he backs up, waiting as TJ starts to get to his knees, Freeman nods his head, TJ doing exactly what he wanted him to do, before running forward for the shining axe kick! But Freeman had done just what TJ wanted…given him time to get his breath back, and given him an opening! As Freeman runs forward TJ explodes off the ground and gives Freeman a shoulder block that nearly sends him across the ring to thunderous applause! Freeman tries to get up, clutching his chest where he had been hit, and finds himself spun around by TJ, who grabs him and hits him with the Impact Bomb! 1 . . . 2 . . . And Freeman kicks out.

TJ gets up motioning him up again, ready to get another win. Freeman gets up, and TJ runs forward with the spear, but Freeman gets out of the way, and TJ goes into the turnbuckle. Freeman bounces off the ropes, and runs forward, only for TJ to jump up and hit a leg lariat, sending him down to the ground again! TJ drops down for another cover. 1 . . . 2 . . Freeman kicks out once more. TJ isn’t frustrated. He knows he’s in control right now, and he raises his hand into the air, ready to go for the finish with a Soulbuster. Freeman gets up, and TJ gets him around the throat, and lifts him up, but Freeman jumps as well, giving himself enough momentum to get behind TJ. Freeman grabs TJ by the head, and slams the back of TJ’s head into the turnbuckle pad twice, before grabbing TJ in a full nelson, and as TJ falls groggily from the head into the turnbuckle, Freeman turns him into a faceplant, connecting with his full nelson faceplant, and going for a cover. 1 . . 2 . . . And TJ kicks out. This has been an impressive match thus far for both superstars. As expected, TJ has hit impressive power moves, and Freeman has hit impressive counters and managed to do some damage to TJ’s legs. Freeman goes back to the legs of TJ, and hits some stomps on him once more, keeping him down for a while. He then goes up to try to pull TJ to his feet, putting him in position for his lifting inverted final cut! But TJ pushes Freeman back, and Freeman bounces off the ropes into a knee. TJ then grabs Freeman for a suplex! He completes the suplex, and takes him up for another one, and then attempts to hit a DDT…but Freeman snaps to life and runs forward, driving TJ towards the turnbuckle, and then kicking the hurt leg of TJ, to drive TJ down. After this, Freeman begins to hit some punches to the head of TJ.
Edison: The genius of Freeman’s style is how he is able to utilize the injuries he has inflicted on his opponents during the match! That was amazing how he used that hurt leg to his advantage!
McNally: No one can deny he’s got intelligence, but it is going to take a lot to get TJ down for good.
And TJ then stands up quickly, lifting Freeman up for a powerbomb! The crowd erupts, as TJ slams Freeman down on his back and goes for the pin, still holding Freeman’s legs… 1 . . 2 . . . Kick out just barely by Freeman!
McNally: You see?
Edison: Ok that was a pretty nice counter.
Freeman is lifted up by TJ once more, and TJ once again grabs Freeman by the throat, looking for the soulbuster, but this time Freeman drops down, grabbing the leg of TJ and yanking up, quickly transitiong into a half crab as TJ falls to the ground, and now Freeman yanks the leg of TJ, as TJ attempts to crawl to the ropes, to break the hold. The fans cheer TJ on, and he gets closer and closer before finally reaching the ropes! Freeman holds on for as long as possible before the referee forces him to break once and for all, and he backs away from TJ. Freeman snarls, as he had hoped he could cause a submission, but it was not to be. He then waits for TJ to get up once more, and as TJ does, Freeman approaches forward, but before he does he makes what looks like some kind of…signal? For a second it seemed Freeman was motioning towards the backstage area. But perhaps it was just nothing. Freeman begins to punch the head of TJ, as TJ struggles to get back to his feet…and then like lightning, TJ lifts Freeman up in fireman’s carry position looking for perhaps the P.O.D! It is then that a hooded figure runs forward and jumps onto the apron!
McNally: Wait…who’s that?
Edison: I don’t know…but TJ’s going to find out!
TJ realizes that since Freeman has some allies, this could be one of them, though it’s impossible to tell with the hood. TJ drops Freeman to the ground, and comes forward trying to punch the man off the apron, but the man jumps down (landing next to a woman who has accompanied him to the ring) before TJ gets the chance. TJ points at him yelling for a second, when suddenly Freeman strikes from behind rolling up TJ and grabbing the ropes with one hand. 1 . . 2 . . 3!!!
Phillip: Here is your winner, Jason Freeman!
The crowd showers Freeman with boos, as that close contest is now over because of some less-than-honorable means. TJ quickly gets up angrily, but Freeman has exited the ring. TJ considers getting some retribution, but he decides against it...exiting the ring. At the very least, Freeman cannot say he got a clean victory, and TJ is not about to waste his energy as angry as he is. It just isn't worth it. As TJ exits, the show goes to commercial

Post-match Segment: A New Recruit (Credit: Freeman/ ) The camera fades back in after the commercial to show Jason Freeman standing in the ring, breathing a bit heavily after what was a tough match. TJ has already left the ring-side area, and the crowd is booing Freeman for his win by distraction. Freeman doesn't care. A win is a win for him, and all that he knows is that in the record books it will say Jason Freeman def. TJ. He waits for the crowd to quiet down before he speaks.Freeman: I have a very important announcement to make. As all of you fans know, I have been assembling a powerful group. This group is going to be the key to dominating ACW. We are going to take over the company from top to bottom, and fight our ways to the top. Of course, the most important part of running a group is finding the weak links and eliminating them. Unfortunately, Theodore Wellington was not ready to make the cut, and I realized I had made a rare mistake in allowing him to join, and so he has been promptly ejected. Do not think though, that I have not found somebody to replace him with. The man in the hood enters the ring, and the fans begin to scrutinize him, trying to figure out who that is under the hood. It is hard to tell just from the physique, but they eagerly await finding out who it is they are going to get to boo. Is this the new member to Jason Freeman’s group? Freeman motions to the man, who comes closer, as Jason Freeman points to himFreeman: This man right here is going to be the final link to complete this group. Jason Freeman. “The Senator” Steve Phillips. Ryan Cole. And--- The man pulls the hood down to reveal---. . . . . . . . . . . . . Freeman: Jon Taylor. The fans are shocked at the face of the returning Taylor. One of the most controversial superstars in ACW history, and one who had made an instant impact on his debut. If Jon Taylor has truly allied himself with Jason Freeman and his group, it seems that a powerful force has indeed been created.Freeman: A man that I know is exactly what I am looking for. A man whose attitude and drive to get to the top are something I respect. A man who will stop at nothing to succeed. Together, the four of us are going to dominate. Jon Taylor grabs the mic, and addresses the fans for the first time in a long time. He begins with one simple word..Jon Taylor: Boo.He pauses to smirk as the entire audience return Taylor's greeting with as much hostility as possible.Jon Taylor: So much for a heroes return, I guess. Well I'm glad to say I didn't miss you people either! Why, I think that has to be just about the greatest part of leaving ACW. Not having to deal with your dumbasses every single frecking week! Don't like that? Well it's the truth! Something you people very rarely listen too. Yep, it seems as though not much has changed since my last tenure here 2 years ago. Back then I did my very best to do what your Jesus would have done and lead you blind people to the truth, and predictably you did all you could to resist my stable, The Second Coming. We were there for YOU people and YOU were too stupid to see it!
Well, that's all in history now and isn't important. Nope. The reason I have returned is for one reason only...to put something right. To make everyone acknowledge my legacy in this business and to make you people finally see the truth that you've shielded yourself from for as long as the business has been alive. You see, folks, it's NO coincidence that after I left, ACW quite literally skydived in popularity and old Gingertwat was forced to sell up and do a runner before anyone could catch him. No, there's a reason that ACW is now operating out of dumps like this....The crowd heavily boos, Taylor turns to his girlfriend and they gloat as Freeman tries to remain looking like he is the mastermind of this all.Jon Taylor: It's because I left. The reason ACW was so successful back in 2008 wasn't because of Thunderkiss, Sarin, Fallen Souls, Ryan Cooper, Thunder Train and so...it was because of ME. My two International Title reigns set the bar SO high that no one could reach it. That's why I had to vacate the title you see, because no one had a hope of winning it. Well, ACW's been crying for me to return ever since. It needs someone like me to keep it going...whether you people like it or not if I didn't return ACW had 6 months left in it if it was lucky!
Well luckily for EVERYONE I'm back, and oh boy Jon Taylor is here to stay. Whether you like it or not, over the next few weeks and months you're going to see just what happens I get tired of being overlooked for so long. I mean come on, Danny frecking Mainer is the World Champion. Christ, if that doesn't say the company is in dire need of help I don't know what will? Anyway, keep your eyes peeled and your ears open because come next week Jon Taylor will back to doing what he does best - bringing the truth to those of you who refuse to believe it.As Taylor finishes he leaves his words to hang for a second before letting the microphone drop to the floor. He grins widely before leading Daphne and Freeman to the other side of the ring where they exit as "Revolution Begins" by Arch Enemy kicks in. They head towards the backstage to loud boos and jeers from all around.
Fade out.

Every match on the card has already occured, but the main event of the evening is still yet to come. The fans look to thering which is being clearly set up for what is yet to come. The wedding of Danny Mainer to his soon-to-be-wife Caitlynn. Perhaps the moment that will solidify the changes that Danny Mainer has gone through as a person over the past few months. Tonight he will be married, and as the fans have come to accept and root for Mainer, they are ready to see him take this step, and support him all the way. It wasn't possible to have a better set of wedding guests.
McNally: Well, folks, we are just seconds away from what is sure to be a very special moment. Danny Mainer and Caitlynn will be married live on Monday Night Warfare.
Edison: I'd rather have another match...
McNally: Hey, you don't get to see a wedding every day!
As the crew continues to prepare the ring for something other than a wrestling match, suddenly the titantron blinks to life. The fans expect to perhaps see Danny Mainer, with some last-minute message to the crowd before he walks down the aisle (which in this case is a wrestling ramp...) but that is not what they get. On screen is the face of Trace Birmingham! Surprisingly, absence seems to make the heart grow fonder, as there are some surprising cheers throughout the arena, as Trace's bizarre personality seems to at least be entertaining to some of the ACW fans.
Trace does not look happy, and as the ring crew sets up the match, the crowd watches as the camera zooms out to show both Trace and Greg.
Trace: What do you MEAN Mainer's having a wedding....
Greg: He’s been talking about it on-screen for a while! What’s the difference?
Trace: I mean…I get here to the arena, and like…I find out Mainer’s getting married? I didn’t even get invited! Why didn’t he invite ME?
Greg: Why…WOULD he invite you?
Trace: Well…I mean…I dunno. You know, when two people are like…fierce competitors they kinda form a bond thing right? Like…you know, I beat him for his championship in that battle royal and stuff.
Greg rolls his eyes and sighs.
Greg: Right, how could I forget...champ.
Trace: And after all the fighting we did in that battle royal you’d think he’d like want me to go, right? I love weddings!
Greg: Do you often get invited to them?
Trace: Well…no…but they’re weddings, ya know? Ya gotta love ‘em. People get married and stuff! Til’ death do us part and all that other stuff. I think I got a bone to pick with Mainer. Maybe he just forgot to send me an invite?
Greg: I’m sure that’s it. It just slipped his mind.
Trace: Well that’s not really fair….
He looks into the camera
Trace: Hey is this thing on? Am I on TV? Right now?
Greg: I guess so…
Trace: Oh! Hey…er…Danny Mainer I know you’re probably like listening and stuff, so…like…I know you forgot to invite me to your wedding but I’m here to say I forgive you as long as you invite me, and---
Voice from Offstage: Hey, you gotta get off the air, the ring’s all set up, it’s time for the wedding!
Trace: Oh yeah? Well, ha! I’m not getting off this TV screen until I get invited! There will BE no wedding until I get invited! IM THE ACW CHAMPION AND BEST WRESTLER GUY EVER, TRACE BIRMINGHAM, AND I'M NOT GETTING OFF THIS SCREEN! And there’s nothing anyone can---
Voice from Offstage: Oh, just cut him off…
Trace: Hey, you can’t---
And just like that the titantron flicks black, and the fans look back towards the ring, and see it’s all set up. They give a cheer as it’s time for the wedding to begin!

FOR WHOM THE WEDDING BELLS TOLL Credit: Danny Mainer When we returned from the break after the main event we were tuned into one of the most spectacular ring set-ups in ACW history, that of a traditional wrestling wedding. Glorious white linens everywhere, a big white arch coated in beautiful floral decorations serving as the true venue of what was about to take place. The uniting of Danny Mainer and Caitlynn Dufraisne, where a beautiful woman would swear her own life away to the man of her dreams and the hero of millions across the world would swear his own life to the one woman he wanted more than any other of the people he could have in this world. Danny Mainer and Caitlynn Dufraisne had chosen each other and now to conclude this Warfare as we return from the break we are rejoined into the wedding. The initial hymns are over and most of the ACW roster, staff and combatant are sat amongst the solid rows of chairs along the entrance ramp facing the ring.
The crowd was going wild for this emotional display as Danny Mainer stood elegantly in his tuxedo next to his blushing bride well Caitlynn wore only the finest white and pink silk gown, a true fairytale dress fit for Danny Mainer’s perfect princess to the knight in shining armour that he was. Children were happy to see their hero Danny with the girl of his dreams, an inspiration to themselves and their own crushes and the men were happy to see one of the best wrestlers in the world finally marry the woman of his dreams just like they have or inevitable will. Finally, women across the world however were sobbing into their pillows knowing that the heartthrob was officially tying the knot and being locked away for good. Caitlynn notably looked absolutely stunning, far from the fat post-natal depression mess that Danny cheated on she’d regained her slender figure and her dress fit her absolutely perfectly.
There was no way this wedding could’ve been better for anyone involved, it was absolutely perfect.Father Winters: “Now that that’s over with. Mr. Mainer, I’d like you to say a few words.” Danny Mainer: ”Okay!”Father Winters: “I, Daniel Mainer take thee Caitlynn Francesca Dufraisne to be my lawfully wedded wife.” Danny Mainer: ”I, Daniel Mainer take thee Caitlynn Francesca Dufraisne to be my lawfully wedded wife.”Father Winters: “To have and to hold from this day forth.” Danny Mainer: ”To have and to hold from this day forth.”Father Winters: “For richer for poorer.” Danny Mainer: ”For richer, for poorer.”Father Winters: “In sickness and in health.” Danny Mainer: ”In sickness and in health.”Father Winters: “To love and to cherish from this day forth until death do us part.” Danny Mainer: ”To love and to cherish from this day forth until death do us part.”Father Winters: “Give her the ring, sir.” Mainer did so and pressed the ring onto Caitlynn’s finger who has a result, giggled sweetly as it was now her turn.Father Winters: “I, Caitlynn Francesca Dufraisne take you Daniel Mainer to be my lawfully wedded husband.” Caitlynn Dufraisne: “I, Caitlynn Francesca Dufraisne take you Danny Mainer to be my lawfully wedded husband.” [Father Winters: “To have and to hold from this day forth.” Father Winters: “For richer, for poorer.” Caitlynn Dufraisne: “For richer, for poorer.” Father Winters: “In sickness and in health.” Caitlynn Dufraisne: “In sickness and in health.” Father Winters: “To love and to cherish from this day forth until death do us part.” Caitlynn Dufraisne: “To love and to cherish from this day forth until death do us part.” Father Winters: “Daniel, do you take Caitlynn to be your lawfully wedded wife?” Danny Mainer: ”I do.”Father Winters: “Caitlynn, do you take Danny to be your lawfully wedded husband?” Caitlynn Dufraisne: “I do.” Father Winters: “Well then. Before I declare thee man and wife, would there be anyone who would object to the union of this couple?” : I’m sorry to interrupt, but if you would just halt the proceedings for one moment…I have an objection.

The crowd instantly begins to boo with venom, as they instantly recognize the voice of the man speaking. It is none other than Jason Freeman, the man who at Omega Effect attained the biggest win of his career, by defeating BK London cleanly in a singles match. At the pay-per-view, Freeman had perhaps won some respect from the crowd, but as usual, the next night that turns back to an even more intense hatred. Why is Jason Freeman out here, considering that the situation has nothing to do with him? One thing everybody knows is that when Jason Freeman appears it is seldom a good thing, and this cannot bode well. The fans have flocked to Danny Mainer as of late, and they want to see tonight go by without a hitch. Well here is what is sure to be a hitch.
If hatred is exuded by the fans, then Mainer’s face is one of loathing (after the initial shock leaves him). He does not know what Freeman is coming out here for, but he knows that it is not to wish him congratulations. Mainer does not want to go the rest of his life looking back on his wedding night, and being forced to remember an unwanted appearence by Jason Freeman. As Freeman walks out from behind the curtain, microphone in hand, Mainer clenches his fists.Danny Mainer: ”Who do you think you are Freeman?! WHO IN THE HELL do you think you are interrupting the most important night of my life. I don’t know why you’re here but I suggest you shift your ass BACK out through that curtain or God only knows that I will hurt you to untold levels if you don’t leave right now.”. Freeman: Oh, Mainer, Mainer…I don’t doubt you wouldn’t want me out here right now, but I wouldn’t be here if it was not of the utmost importance. And while you may not be interested in what I have to say, I’m afraid to say your woman – Caitlynn, was it? – might be. It is, after all, information that I think she would like to have before she marries the man it concerns. Now Mainer’s face is one of confusion, trying to think of what perhaps Freeman could even possibly be talking about. He's getting some ominous vibes however, from the way Freeman is speaking. Caitlynn’s face is one of confusion as well, but perhaps confusion isn’t the right word. It’s almost one of...suspicion perhaps? She turns to glance at Mainer, as if hoping he is going to tell her exactly what Freeman is talking about. From Freeman's tone at least, she can gather that it doesn't sound like good news. Freeman makes his way slowly down the ramp, his calculating eyes focused on the two in the ring, before he stops in the middle of the ramp, raising the microphone once more.Caitlynn: What is he talking about? Danny Mainer: ”I have no idea baby.”Freeman: The act of marriage. It is a beautiful thing, isn’t it? Two souls locked together for all eternity. Just a very touching ceremony, and as I watched it backstage I just couldn’t help but get emotional… The idea of Jason Freeman getting emotional at a wedding is a comical one, and it is hard to imagine him really being touched by anything. His sarcasm is blatant, and Mainer does not like where this is going. Freeman is too confident right now…as many have felt across from Jason Freeman since his return, Mainer feels like Freeman is eyeing him like he believes that Mainer is a mouse, and he is a cat who has just trapped his prey. But what could Freeman POSSIBLY have to say that would make him this confident. Mainer was sure that there was nothing Freeman could do to affect this ceremony, nor did he know why Freeman would even want to. Mainer knows that Freeman is enjoying this, and he is ready for him to just get to the point - sick of waiting to find out exactly what Freeman is trying to do. Before he can raise the microphone to tell him so, however, Freeman continues on his own.Freeman: But, unfortunately…there was something that weighed heavily on my heart. Yes…you may not know this but I can be quite the humanitarian at times. I may be willing to do anything to get to the top of the company - may have abandoned my morals - but I don’t think anything could kill the chivalry in me. And the fact of the matter is, knowing what I know I could not allow a lovely woman such as Caitlynn to bind herself forever to a man like Danny Mainer. Caitlynn: What is this? What does he mean “knowing” what he “knows”? Danny Mainer: ”Oh dear God. Trust me Caitlynn, it’s probably nothing. Freeman has always been all sizzle and no steak.”Freeman was opening his mouth to speak, but when he hears Mainer he narrows his eyes. He looks down deep in thought for a second, before looking up at Mainer with eyes that seem slightly amused.Freeman: Have you ever seen an insect in a sink Mainer? Danny Mainer: ”I’m looking at the most wretched insect right now.”Freeman: It is a pathetic sight, really…The insect is trapped. He walks into a sink, and finds himself in a situation he cannot get out of. He continues to try to run up the walls and out of it, but it is impossible, and he keeps finding himself slipping back down the slope to the middle. You see, he knows he's trapped, but he feels the need to keep trying. Unfortunately, there is no escape. His desperate attempts are so futile that they are both comical and sad at the same time. Danny Mainer: ”Did somebody swap your psychosis medicine with ecstasy again Freeman? I have no idea what in God’s name you’re talking about.”Freeman: Well it’s just that your desperate attempts at denial and escape reminded me of that just now, and I was slightly amused. But, unfortunately, this is no time for analogies - no matter how fitting - and I must apologize. Now, this is a painful situation even for me, and as I know how you must be feeling right now Mainer, let’s just stop pretending. Should we just cut down to the chase? Caitlynn, I’m sorry you have to see this, but if the production crew in the back would please put the evidence up on the titantron? Before Mainer can wonder what Freeman means by “evidence”, all of a sudden the titantron flashes to life, and the crowd gasps at the sight on the screen. It is a picture. A picture of Danny Mainer. It seems to be taken from outside, through a window, but everything can be seen quite clearly, and it is obvious that this is no fake. That is certainly Danny Mainer himself. Wrapped in nothing but a towel, and standing right next to ACW’s interviewer, Charlotte King. Freeman watches the ring, as Danny Mainer’s eyes widen as he sees the damning image on the screen in front of him…and he hears the mumble of the crowd. Everybody in the crowd had recently believed Danny Mainer to be a changed man, and they had gotten behind him. But if this was a real picture, which it seemed to be, did that mean Mainer hadn’t changed at all? That he was the same guy he was before? The crowd seems confused, not knowing what to think, and Mainer knows exactly what’s going through their heads…but he has not yet dared to look at Caitlynn.
When he does, he sees the look on her face, and she seems to still be reacting to the image in front of her. She had truly believed Mainer to be a new man, and there was the evidence to the contrary right on the titantron. Her eyes tell a story of many emotions. Shock, horror, sadness, anger…all at one time…but then it seems to be the anger that wins out.Caitlynn: NNo... n-n-n-... no. It... of all the low down, dirty things you could’ve done to me... HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!Mainer opens his mouth to defend himself, but the shock of the situation has taken him by surprise, and while he knows the truth of what that picture was, he knows how bad it looks to everybody in the arena. And he knows what Caitlynn must be thinking.Danny Mainer: ”Baby, no! I-, it’s not what it looks like I fucking swear! My shower broke and I needed to clean up, I swear to God you’ve got this ALL wrong.”Caitlynn still regards Mainer with shocked eyes, despite his excuses. Through all this commotion, Jason Freeman has watched, saying nothing. But now he holds the microphone up again, and turns his eyes towards Caitlynn, his amused sarcasm from before mostly gone, as he regards her with his intense eyes, as he begins to speak slowly and methodically.Freeman: Now, now…can you really pretend to act surprised? You knew this was going to happen. You’ve known since the beginning. You told Danny Mainer that you believed he was a new man, but did you really? This is more painful to you because you KNEW that Mainer was nothing but a lying scumbag. An unfaithful rodent. But you WANTED to believe things were different. Didn’t you? You hoped that things were different, but deep in your heart you knew. A tiger can never change his stripes. Danny Mainer: ”You’re gonna’ believe Freeman over me? I... Jesus, CAITLYNN, it WASN’T me just PLEASE baby listen to me. This isn’t right, I promise you! I didn’t do it! My shower was broke”Freeman: Yes, there is always an excuse. Well…perhaps you shouldn’t blame him. Danny Mainer is who he is…but if you expect him to change, I hope you realize you are going to be out of luck. Suddenly the shock of the situation begins to fade for Mainer. Through all the explanations he’s been trying to give, and all the effort he’s been putting through to try to let Caitlynn see the truth, he has forgotten about what has made this happen in the first place. And now he realizes what has happened. Jason Freeman is going to screw up the most important night of his life…the man he can’t stand. He has worked so hard to show Caitlynn he’s a new man, to let her see that he has changed. All he’s worked for, to win Caitlynn back, to win over these fans, Freeman is going to destroy it one move. And suddenly he feels one of the most intense feelings of rage he has ever experienced in his life. His chest starts to heave violently up and down as his breathing increases and his heart begins to pound like a jackhammer, the blood circulating in his ears as he drops to his knees.Danny Mainer: ”Jason... Jason Freeman... Jason... Jason... Jason just... Jason Freeman...”YOU SON OF A BIIIIIIITCH! And at the same time Caitlynn recovers from the shock of the situation as well. The man in front of her, her fiancé, hadn’t changed. He was the same man he was before! And she is filled with a rage that equals Mainer’s, and she suddenly drives her foot up and nails Mainer right in the worst place a man can be kicked. Mainer’s eyes widen, as he sinks down to the ground, and Caitlynn looks down on him with anger. The camera does not show it, but some of the fans in the front row see the look on Freeman’s eyes as he views the scene in front of him. The perverse triumphant gleam. And then Freeman is backing up, his part done. Jason Freeman makes his way out of the curtain, perhaps getting far away from the arena.
Caitlynn looks down on Danny Mainer, her face filled with both hurt and disgust. She storms out of the ring, and marches up the ramp, going backstage soon after Freeman. This leaves Danny Mainer, clutching himself and grimacing from the pain, as he crawls his way on the ground towards the ropes, watching the most important woman in his life disappear behind the curtain.Edison: “In one fell swoop... Mainer’s happiest moment and his darkest hour happened mere seconds apart... look at him.” Mainer dropped to his knees, a broken and shattered soul as the crowd went deadpan quiet unsure what to make of the situation. Danny Mainer leant back, staring straight at the spotlights hanging from the rafters above before screaming his own heart out in a primal roar that could be heard amongst the heavens. Tears streamed out of his eyes as his wedding audience had quickly made their departure leaving Mainer alone in the arena, Mainer’s clasped to his face and as the screen came to a close we were left with that one image of a battered and broken soul pouring his own heart and soul across the mat in a display of nothing more than pure, tangible tears. His eyes soon went red, his voice hoarse and as the screen went to black we were left to wonder if what Freeman had said was true or if there was more to this than meets the eyes.End Show.

You know you love it....the first post-Omega Effect VI---
Freeman Feedback
This is a special show because I – Jason Freeman – posted it! I posted it once before, but this is my first time as an official poster for the summer! Alright! Also, this was the first show of the new ACW year, as Omega Effect VI is now behind us. Awesome. With a bunch of interesting stuff in store, it promised to be a great show but was it? I skimmed through as I posted but now I read in full! Alright!
Putting it All in Perspective (TJ) – I really liked this, and thought it was the perfect thing for TJ to do after Omega Effect. He had a huge night, as he won the Crucible, and I’m happy TJ is making it seem big. I forget who won last year, but I don’t remember them really using it well (though I could be wrong) and TJ is already making it seem big. It is true that TJ made a huge step at the pay-per-view and he acknowledge it well, and the beginning talking about getting into the pro wrestling business and having to break the glass ceiling was a great way to start. I liked how he simply ran down the opponents he beat, making sure he says again that he won, and then ended it by hyping his match tonight. A very effective segment, where everything seemed important. Mostly Im able to comment more on angle based segments, but for a solely promo based segment, this was very good.
Star Gentle Uterus (Yoko) – Yoko has always been good at dialogue, though not much happened here. The return to the Rena angle (I think it’s a return…I don’t remember) seemed very abrupt though, as it has been a very long time and I forgot the whole Ringleader thing. It just seemed to come out of nowhere, but I will give it time, and see where this goes. I don’t know if Rena is coming back but it’d be great if that happened. Anyways though, hard to judge from just this, but in any case it’s great to see Yoko writing.
Road Rage (Danny Mainer) – I’m not a big fan of this biker gang angle thing…I guess Mainer is going for a bunch of NPC’s he can use as backup or something, which isn’t a bad idea. It’s been done before. Kudo did it once with some group of people, and I did it myself with the Freeman Fan Club. I think that’s what Mainer is going for here – to add a group of NPC’s to his promo. They certainly are true Mainer NPC’s…I just don’t really like the angle as I haven’t really found it particularly interesting, and it just sorta felt a little useless to me. I’ve liked a lot of Mainer’s stuff for the most part recently besides this angle.
Some Unnamed segment by Ivan Boiawdoiawudoiuzo (Ivan Baodoialqwhfhz) – GAH!!! THAT…THAT…THAT HORRIBLE BLUE TEXT! People need to stop using that <_<. I don’t like the Belgrade Bruiser nickname because it reminds me way too much of Kozlov as the Moscow Mauler. There wasn’t really much here to comment on but I still liked it, and found it a pretty effective way to debut a new guy if not the most interesting one. Sure, it wasn’t really original, but it works. The big intimidating guy revealing himself after being talked up by the smaller manager. I dunno, he came across as a fierce dominant guy, and hopefully he will be one.
[Some Unnamed Segment by a Mystery Guy who is Jon Taylor (Jon Taylor) – It’s hard to judge much by here. Obviously he was trying to make it so you wouldn’t know who it was, and thus had I read it without knowing I probably would have been very interested. I hope some people were indeed interested to see Taylor back though! Alas, I did know, and so a lot of the good parts of this segment had no effect on me. It doesn’t come across as well without the mystery. Regardless, it served its purpose perfectly. Establish that there is somebody coming back – somebody who has wrestled before in the company – and apparently had a decently high position in it. It just builds up intrigue for later, which is always great on a show, so a great idea to do this segment when Taylor just as easily could have waited to show up when he interfered in the Freeman/TJ match.
Another Unnamed segment by Ivan Boriojeaoirjoz (Ivan Borehaihdz) – Well, that’s certainly a short segment. It’s hard to actually give feedback when the segment is probably shorter than the feedback is going to be, but I suppose it worked for what Ivan wanted it to. So now, I thought his debut was pretty solid in that it established him as a monster type guy, but still felt that a little more could have been done with it, as there could have possibly been a bit more depth to the situation. I dunno, it’s just that right now it seems like he’s just any monster heel. But I dunno, we’ll see how he does once he is on the show a bit more.
Destiny Awaits (Mr. Red) – Another Mr. Red appearance! It’s an interesting angle because Red has been here for so long and has not achieved too much. So as a heel that has finally decided he isn’t going to be pushed around anymore, it could work. It is sort of what I did with Freeman at least in 2008 when I changed his character a lot. Anyways, I know Red sort of just shows up and writes sometimes, and then disappears. If Red could get more time to write though, this angle could work. As it is now, it’s hard to build any momentum, as he just comes out, cuts a promo, leaves, and then nothing happens about it. If he can get segments every week, and have a feud though, then it possibly could work. I think a feud is necessary to pull this angle off though. Cmon Red, go for it! Get a feud!
Seed (Danny Mainer) – WHOAMG, I wonder where this is going! It worked well to set up later on (Though I didn’t see this until after I had done my part of the final segment, and possibly would have changed the description of the picture since it didn’t really match up.) Well, whatever. Still, it worked to set up for later on, and I liked it because of that.
Return of Thiago back to ACW returning soon (Thiago) – Not exactly long and detailed, but Thiago isn’t Sen’s main character either, and it is supposed to be that way. I like anything with Thiago in it. In this one I especially liked the armbar to the pic carcass. Trace better beware, because Thiago Gracie is after him! I want to see more random armbars on people backstage though!
The Loser Returns Victorious (Senator) – Hey it’s the real Senator! And he is returning to the active roster! Finally! This is great news, as Senator always delivers with great feuds and angles, and finally he will be writing again and competing actively! Of course I would like to take partial responsibility for it . But anyways, nice little segment to have Senator come to the ring and announced that he is coming out of retirement (for like the tenth time.) I can’t wait to see what exactly Senator does in the future, and I hope I see him in a great angle. Besides the one with the stable of course.
Why You, Why Now (Snake) – As I said, while I don’t like alter ego storylines, Rattlesnake does it the best. I like that it seems like Snake is buckling down and is actually going to be a serious contender for the title belt. I can’t say exactly what it is, but this segment really made me want to see Snake in a title feud, and then when it happens, I will be very interested to see it. So I liked this, and I like the storyline Snake has going for him. Snake has always been great, but has never pulled it off when it counted, and has also had very inconsistent returns. I am HOPING this return is going to be a good one, because it has all the makings of a great one. I definitely can’t wait to see where Snake is going, and I can’t wait to see the inevitable feud where Snake gets to challenge for the ACW championship, whenever it actually happens. Once again, nice to see him back around.
Mistake? (Ryan Cole) – You know when I said some of Ryan Cole’s stuff works great and some of it falls a little flat and comes off as awkward? Well this one was definitely one of the great ones. I don’t know what it is, but when Ryan Cole is on he’s on, and this was a great segment. I loved everything he was saying, and I especially loved the paragraph about the image of him doing his finisher to Wellington off the ladder being his foothold, etc, and all he said about it. The segment was effective, gave him some good heel lines, and showed off his character well, without verging into going too far with the remembering stuff to ruin it. This was the perfect amount. Just a great segment, showing that we will be seeing great things from Ryan Cole.
Clash of the Ti-…Nevermind (TJ/Mainer) – Well this wasn’t exactly what I expected, when I saw there was a segment between the current champ and the Crucible winner. Anyways, I liked that. It was different than you would expect. I liked Mainer having to have that little line about how he had a harder time winning it than TJ did, because it makes it so that while Mainer is a face, he is still Danny Mainer. It makes you wonder whether or not Mainer’s good-hearted speech was just an effort to get TJ not to cash it in on him when HE is at his weakest? After all, it would be in Mainer’s best interest if TJ gave him warning. I’m not sure if Mainer was going for that or not, but either way it came off well, and did a lot for TJ, as I felt it fit well for him to be determined to do it fairly, confident in his abilities to win. And I liked the ending with Mainer inviting TJ to the wedding. If these two did feud, it’d be interesting to see if this “friendship” type thing kept up.
And that’s the show as far as feedback goes, as after that they both involve me. Too bad the CP segment and Buddy Ghee segment were not added to the show. And no Scorpion either. Or Dan White. Well, whatever. I felt like this show, while the same length as those before OE, came off very well because what was there was extremely good, and if everybody was to write next week we’d have an amazing show on our hands. The seeds are planted for a very interesting summer, and it’s great to see everybody doing well. I hope we get some interesting feuds…I remember in chat before OE, people were talking about their feuds and they all sounded very interesting to see moving forward, and the things I know of sounds good. I’m expecting a very good improvement coming in ACW in the future but everybody needs to contribute, so I hope for a big show next show!
