JBL called him worse for years. Why would he get fired for that?

I dont buy the choking thing either, simply because I think they probably rehearsed each and every part of that segment, and the director of the show obviously kept the camera on the image of him being strangled. I doubt they rehearsed the segment. I think they were given directions to do something and they did it. If they did rehearse it, Danielson would've definitely know NOT to choke Roberts with his tie.

Maybe not reheased, per se, but walked through each and every step. Roberts must have been in on the attack, just like security and the ref.
Though maybe that would be a closer reason; the choke wasn't bad because of the PG thing but because Robert's hadn't agreed to it before hand and felt Danielson crossed a line?
EDIT: Reading online that apparently the sponsers are the ones with the problem now :/ They thought the segment was too violent and Bryan got picked out. God damn it.

To be honest, I hope he gets cut. He just destroyed Cena, he'd be a hero on the indies when he returned.

Hmm, this is weird. Cena has never been anything but a company man but then today tweets the following....
"I am very upset to hear about the release of bryan danielson. Social networks were formed so people would have a voice, and an opinon. I Know you all have your own, theories and whatnot. I respect that. I have never asked any of you to feel a certaint way about me. But Bryan left a lasting impression on the wwe universe in a very short time, and although it came at my expense, I agree with the majority Of you who are caught off guard by this choice. I know I'm not exactly appreciated by all, nor do I care to be, but I believe what I believe. I would like bryan to come back to the wwe. I would like to sign your petition to bring him back. I was taught to stand up for what I beileve in. I tried and failed, so I could Use some help. Tell me how to sign and I will. If for nothing else, to at least have a chance to have a match with him after what was done I know that seems a bit more fair. Give me a chance to have a fair match with him, and give him yet another chance to prove that he does Belong with us. Sorry for the long message, I know I am probally way out of line, I am sorry if I have offended anyone. But like me or not That is what Hustle. Loyalty. And most importantly Respect means to me. Enjoy game 5."

Really if Cena says something publicly about something inside the company, you know it's a big fucking deal

I heard Cena's getting some heat for that comment

Cena is no more getting heat for it than I am.
It's a stunt to try and get Cena over with the net fans, capitalising on the contraversy surrounding the release. You think Cena of all people would blast the company if he hadn't been given permission?

If you call that blasting, then I'd like to see what you called Kennedy's rant after getting fired.
That's a mild statement saying, "Look, what they did was wrong, I tried to talk them into rehiring him, but they weren't hearing it. I want to help you, the fans, get them to listen and rehire him. I would love to work with the guy, I know you may not like me, and if that's the case, I don't care, but this is something we care about."
That's what I saw.

Why Jericho rocks...
John Cena is wrong for pandering to all of you hypocrites via Twitter. All of you sycophantic germ incubators need to accept the FACT, that Danielson has been released from the WWE. Danielson will never amount to anything in the world of Professional Wrestling. Wade Barret deserves all of the spotlight, not this "American Dragon" loser. Petition about WADE BARRET! No, in fact, you people should petition to put me in a world title match, because I am the best in the world at what I do. Do you understand what I am saying to you, right now?

The way I see it is that Cena's not blasting the company, but simply the decision to fire him which was forced upon by the apparently "don't do anything Benoit"-esque rule.
But if it's a work, eff WWE lol

And where did you get that Jericho quote from?

Ben-oit? You mean that glitched character that appeared in a tonne of SmackDown games?
Oh I get the reference. When he says "Don't do anything Benoit-esque" he means don't fuck up on a massive repetitive scale like Yukes did.

Huh, the Jericho post was on the PWB where someone said it was on his Twitter. I checked and it wasn't <_< Guess I should check the sources before I post from now on.
Anyway, can that Raw put an end to the "It's a work" nonsense <_< I will say I hate the fact I'l miss the PPV this weekend given the brilliant NXT stuff :/
