Sure Wellington posts feedback now...let's see him do it next week! Whose feedback is on every show? Mine...Freeman Feedback
One more week before the anniversary show, so yay for that! And for all the feedbacks I make fun of, know I actually really appreciate all the other feedbacks that people do very very much. That’s my disclaimer if people actually get angry at my comments to their feedbacks <_<
What We All Waited For (Wellington) – This segment title must be about FREEMAN FEEDBACK, since that’s what we’re all waiting for right? THE BEST FEEDBACK IN ACW HISTORY?! Yeah, I thought so. Nice of Wellington to write his segment all about it. Wait WTF? I just read this segment and there was nothing about my feedback. What is it then that we all waited for? Ah well, obviously this was a mistitled segment that was supposed to be about my feedback, but I forgive you TW. Anyways, this segment was good in that it built to later, but in my opinion there was too much time spent on the actual recap part. I would have liked more on him talking about tonight rather than talking about the past with the clips. It was still fine though. I really liked him about to say “your Entertainment champion” but instead changed it, saying “I won’t be ‘your’ anything.” That was a cool little line.
RCW? (Ryan Cole) – The colors are back. Apparently, according to Ryan Cole they were never supposed to be gone in the first place. Good. I liked the RCW thing. I feel that (and it might just be me) something was a bit off in this segment. I don’t know exactly what it was. Maybe it was he spent too much time on the remembering thing, which I know is your gimmick, but I think it came on a little too strong here maybe or something? I dunno. Still a Ryan Cole fan though.
Unexpected Appearance (BK London) – Who the heck is this guy? Probably some no name. BK is great at advancing storylines, and this was short, sweet, and to the point…and made me really look forward to seeing what will happen with him later (besides the part that includes me, of course <_<.) Nice to see BK writing, and I liked his lines with Kevin.
Road Rage: Episode 1 (Danny Mainer) – Remember The Simpsons: Road Rage? It was basically crazy taxi with the Simpsons. Anyways, I didn’t love this much. It was fine, it just seemed kind of pointless, but Mainer likes giving himself weird side storylines. Who knows? Maybe it will go somewhere, and surprise me. I guess the point is just Mainer, as it said in the first few quotes, looking for some people to be friends with or something. I dunno.
The Grand Opening of the Carnival (Panther) – Panther loses points for taking a shot at me in here <_<. Or at least I think it was a shot. It had my name though, at least, and he didn’t pay for the rights. Okay, so let’s see, we’ve got Panther here in a new character. First of all, the elitist in me MUST tell you to check your grammar. Especially with “to” which you used “too” for throughout most of the segment. I mean, it happened like fifteen times or so, so I would watch that, as yeah it’s a picky complaint, but for me at least it takes me out of the segment to see it. But here’s the good news. This was probably the best thing I’ve seen from Panther. I don’t know how much I love the character, as it would be hard to keep it from seeming cheesy or cliché, but as for the segment itself, I thought it came off really well, and was a definite improvement from the stuff Panther had been doing before. So I was impressed. I don’t know how the character will work out for you, but if you like it, all the power to you, and if you can make it work, go for it. This was good. I look forward to seeing how you do with this in the future.
Some Unnamed Segment by Criminal (Criminal) – It’s smart for Criminal to build himself up a bit, before returning to competition, as it will allow him to get some momentum before he has to compete again, so as a writer he’s making the right choice. As a reader, though, I would rather see Criminal back in the arena doing segments with other wrestlers. I see why he’s doing what he’s doing though. It’s just you can only do segments like these for so long, IMO.
Doggy style (Theodore Wellington) – Who is Emma again? I don’t even remember. Anyways, wasn’t Trish Stratus forced to bark once or something? It reminded me of that. But in any case it still worked and made sense in context. I like wellington’s stuff, I’ve said it before, but it’s definitely his best character. Nice stuff from him, and could totally see him winning the ET belt tonight. Or well, I saw the result already, but would have said that had I not seen it <_<.
Buddying Up (TJ/Buddy Ghee) – XD. Buddy’s ending line was great. I liked the segment, but would have liked more personality from Buddy himself, who mostly gave short answers. I would have liked this better having seen more from Buddy in here, but still it was effective I suppose. It just seemed obvious that I dunno…maybe Buddy didn’t edit it much, or what…I dunno. It just seemed to be something lacking from his character. Didn’t have the spark it usually does.
Shoot Yourself in the Foot (XS3) – No I will NOT shoot myself in the foot THANK YOU VERY MUCH XS3!!!! I love when XS3 does segments like this, and this brought back memories of some of his more passionate promos he did when he challenged for Jake Steele’s world titles, not in content, but just in the emotion of them. So yes, I really liked this. Of course Hawthorne has a hard decision to make…if XS3 can’t beat his opponent he gets a world title shot, but if he loses then he’s gone? Wow…try to make sense of THAT one Hawthorne. XD
A Lack of Communication (Buddy Ghee) – Again, I feel more could have been done here. Again, Buddy seemed to have lost a bit of spark he usually has in all of his segments. I also think that while a dog collar match could be brutal, with the chain and all, I don’t think it should be treated as if it’s the most hardcore match in the history of the world, with Hawthorne considering not sanctioning it. Anyways though, Buddy Ghee definitely seems off this show. Cmon Buddy, I want my old Buddy back! <_<. Probably just an off night.
The Story of a Meng and a Soul (TJ) – Personally, I don’t love this storyline, can’t say why exactly. It’s not just that it doesn’t involve wrestling (I’m pointing this out because I also complained about Mainer’s, and Criminal’s non-wrestling stories this show) because I have liked non-wrestling stories before. Hunter had amazing ones, and even Jake Cheng I remember had a decently interesting one. I dunno, for some reason, I’m just not getting that into it. So while there is nothing to complain about with this segment, I just I dunno. Whatever. Maybe I’ll like it more as time goes on.
The End (Xavier and XS3) – A pretty standard way to set a PPV match, but it’s not so bad as long as not too many feuds do it. As this is really the only one it’s fine. Not exactly the most exciting way to set an Omega Effect feud, but that’s okay, they still have two weeks to heat things up. It’s like Jake Steele vs XS3 once more without Jake Steele! Anyways, standard feud, but it works, and I want to see where this is going. I hope we get a lot more from XS3 in the future, as since his return I feel he’s done less than he could have, and I want to see more from him like his segment earlier tonight!
Public Service Announcement (Wellington) – What’s there to say? Wayde’s there, but Wellington is better than Wayde. Anyways, Rookie Rumble should be interesting.
Surprise (Red) – The final sentence of this segment was “He disappears backstage as the crowd is half laughing and half stunned at what happened.” That pretty much sums up my reaction to this segment. XD. WTF was that? Awesome to have Red back again, confused at the way it happened though. Once again, XD. I really have no idea what to say to this one. I am pretty speechless.
The Sapling of Eternal Sorrow (Scorpion) – Scorpion you have to answer me. HOW IN GOD’S NAME DO YOU THINK OF WHAT TO WRITE WEEKLY? I mean I can’t imagine how you think of all these essays to write week in and week out. I mean, where do you get this stuff from <_<. Every week I’m like “No way Scorpion will be able to find something ELSE to rant about in detail” but you always do somehow. You impress me every week <_<. Anyways, you know the deal. Scorpion’s awesome, should try to be in some cool feud. Impressive as always.
See You Next Week (BK/CP) – Great great segment, nice job to both. Intense. Can’t wait till next week, this really made me look forward to their match!
A King’s Ransom (CP/Mainer) – I dunno…too far for me. This is what always happens with CP/Mainer. I think they aren’t doing enough, I want them to heat it up. They do, I think they go too far. I’ll just say good job, and be satisfied with it at an intense level then a weaker one. So yeah, I dunno. I do look forward to their match at OE. I feel like things were slightly stronger going into Fallen Heroes, then now. I want to see more from the both. I also don’t think, now thinking about it, that CP has really done enough with his Fallen Heroes winner thing, it seems like he’s ignoring it. I dunno, whatever.
Good show folks, looking forward to our ACW ANNIVERSARY.
