Go Time in DallasChris Phenomenal and Laron Xavier
Five minutes.
Five minutes until the biggest matches of Chris Phenomenal’s life and they come on the heels of one another. First, Danny Mainer, a personal rivalry that at times has seemed to be on the back burner, but deep down everyone can tell their’s pure and utter loathing. After that, both a safety net and potentially history. Should happenstance favor Danny Mainer on this evening, the Fallen Heroes Battle Royal serves as a second chance for him to punch his ticket to the main event. The more likely situation however would be a history making one, first, Chris Phenomenal beating Danny Mainer to retain his title belt and immediately after winning the Fallen Heroes Battle Royal, to make himself his own number one contender, setting up a definite five star match.
As he walks down the hallway, he’s the epitome of focus, no one is going to knock him off his game this evening. Not Danny Mainer, not TJ, or not the seventeen other men in the Fallen Heroes Battle Royal. The "posse" or hanger-on's are nowhere's near, already set up near the entrance ready to go.
In his mind, it’s his time.
Turning down the hall however, he’s met by a human barricade in the way, an unfamiliar black man, approximately five feet, ten inches and appearing to be just south of two hundred pounds. A lean build with a crooked hat, and shining white (likely artificially whitened) teeth, cocking a crooked grin at Chris Phenomenal.
Obviously some new guy, Chris thinks to himself, but alas as he tries to step by without excusing himself, the black man sticks out his arm and knocks him back slightly in front of him.: Di’n’t yo’ mama eva teach ya sum manners boi! Chris smiles at the ignorance of the man. Though it is not brought public by Chris, never used as a sympathy card, almost every ACW fan has come to learn that Chris was abandoned as a child, never to know who his biological parents where.: Wha’ cha’ smilin’ at boi? Ain’t neva seen a nigga befo’? Again, ignorance. Harlem isn’t the most racially diverse part of the country, African American’s outnumbering Caucasians by a large margin. Also, the vernacular, reminding Chris of his upbringing, or lack thereof. Unrefined, uncultured, an abomination to the English language. The man doesn’t follow however, and now has his hands on his hips, his head tilted back slightly looking up at Chris Phenomenal past the crooked brim of his hat.: So wha’ tha fuck is dis shit? Ya think if ya just ignore a nigga that a nigga just gon’ disappear? We ain’t gon’ be turnin’ out da lights tonight son. The imputence of the man weighs on Chris Phenomenal heavily. Usually, he’d throw down at this moment, consequences be damned but on this evening, there’s so much more to it, a bigger foe to slay than some kid trying to impress by standing up to the biggest dog in the yard.Chris Phenomenal: Alright, what do you want?
: T’ introduce myself Clever, playing on the line to Chris enters the arena said by east coast legend Jay-Z.Chris Phenomenal: This isn’t some Dolph Ziggler shit is it?
: Fuck dat bitch! I ain’t walkin’ ‘round here just ta be jockin’. Chris Phenomenal: Alright then, what’s your name?
: Why da fuck d’ you wan’ know m’ name? Frustration begins to set in on the face of Chris Phenomenal. The arrogance in the tone and the smug smile suggesting this isn’t a Trace Birmingham type incident where the kid simply is delirious. No, this is calculated, strategically situated just to get on Chris’ nerves right before his biggest match.Chris Phenomenal: Alright, I don’t care what Mainer paid you to…
: Mainer, fuck dat white boi! Dis ain’t no shit he got set up to get on ya mind. Dis is all ‘bout cha boi, Laron Xavier, and what he gon’ do in da aye cee dubya! A name, alas a name to the cocksure kid, Laron Xavier.Chris Phenomenal: Alright, Laron. Now that you’ve introduced yourself. It’s about high time I make it to the ring to set “dat white boi” in his place.Chris tries to push past, but instead of the arm sticking out, this time Laron shuffle steps and knocks him back.Laron Xavier: I ain’t don’ wit ‘cha boi! Now the color has risen all the way up in Chris face as he looks down at Laron. Title match be damned, no one gets away with shoving Chris Phenomenal.Chris Phenomenal: Usually this is where I’d turn your nose into a facial cavity, but seeing as how you’re new here, I’ll give you five seconds to get out of my way.
Laron Xavier: Is dat a threat mutha fucka? ‘Cause if you wan’ go nines, I’m ready to go. Punctuating his statement, Laron goes right up to Chris and presses his nose right into the chest of Chris Phenomenal, looking up at him. The two stare each other down for a few moments before Chris decides to be the bigger man in this situation, both figuratively and literally, stepping past Laron knowing he won’t stop him this time as he heads down the hall.Laron Xavier: Dat’s right mutha fucka! Run like tha lil’ bitch ya are ya fuckin’ sellout. Sellout, the word that many have placed on Chris Phenomenal since his partnership with Senator turned him from the cocky kid from the ghetto to the semi-cultured champion with an attitude. The scene fades out to Laron Xavier looking down the hall at Chris, smiling.

*We open the scene sometime between TJ’s match and the Fallen Heroes match. We see TJ in his locker room with Raj. Both bullshiting after TJ’s championship win. The background is filled with rap music, very loud rap music. The door opens but neither Raj or TJ notice. In walks Samuel Hawthorne. He walks right to the stereo and turns it off. TJ’s.Personal.Cameraman Roger.Gings What the fuck!? WHO THE FUCK TURNED- oh. Mr. Hawthorne. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne Roger. Do I pay you to drink? TJ’s.Personal.Cameraman Roger.Gings Ah, no, but I took today off. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne You can’t take a PPV off. TJ’s.Personal.Cameraman Roger.Gings No I can, because I you hired me I asked for Fallen Heroes and Omega Effect off because of my boy, TJ. And you said that was cool. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne You were serious? The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ HAHAHAHA. Sammie, you’re the man. *Hawthorne turns to TJ, who has the Entertainment title across his shoulder. TJ takes a swig of water as he points to Hawthorne.* The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Sammie, long time no see. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne Indeed, next you argue with Theodore Wellington, want to do it not in front of my office? The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Alright. You like what your money paid for? ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne Nothing make me happier when my top stars are comfortable on account of my expenditures. The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Ha, right. But I was actually going to your office with a reason other than mess with Teddy. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne Oh? The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Yes, to show you, I got MY title back and I know how much you love when I have this title. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne You can’t imagine TJ. But I came here to talk to you, alone. TJ’s.Personal.Cameraman Roger.Gings Oh alright. Ah, TJ I’ll see you later one, maybe I’ll check up with some of the other guys, or something. Maybe strip club. The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Alright later dude. *Raj gets up grabs his coat and leaves the room. Hawthorne sits down opposite TJ.* ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne Now that you have the Entertainment Championship again, that list I have of people that want to take this title of you. It diminished quite a bit after that showing. The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Good. It shouldn’t have been that long in the first place. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne But I have a good amount of people that still want to take this title of you. And I am going to help them as much as I’m going to help you. The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ What’s that mean? ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne You will get to pick your first defense of this reign. The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ So am I going to get a look at this list? ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne No, that’s the part, I want to talk to you about. You see, this list, if you pick someone from off the list, I get to add whoever I want to any title defense. The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ So any person I pick, if it’s not going to be a name off this list, it’ll go from a one on one to a triple threat match with a random person thrown in? ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne Not random, I pick it from who I think will put on the best match. The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ In other words, whoever you think has the best chance to win? ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne I didn’t say that. The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ You implied it. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne I did not imply anything TJ. My job is to put on the best product that ACW can produce, if that means you losing the title in a triple threat match, so be it. The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Well then, if that’s the case, Sammie, I’m gonna tell you right now, the day this title isn’t around my waist is when I have the World Championship over my shoulder. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne Whoever thinks you’re not confident is crazy. The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Ha. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne Congrats TJ. The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Thanks. *Sammie gets up and walks towards the door.* The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Oh Sammie, remember that contract you signed last week so I can get this locker room. There was another clause. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne God Damn it! What was it? The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ It said that if I won, I get this room EVERY week. ACW.Chairman Samuel.Hawthorne Damn it TJ! *TJ laughs as Hawthorne leaves the room. The scene fades to black*

Omega Effect 6 Chris Phenomenal
As Hawthorne leaves TJ's locker room, he looks down at his wristwatch and noticing the time, immediately heads to the ring double time. Breaking through the black curtains as his music plays, a simple orchestra concerto, he briskly walks into the ring, before heading towards Phillip to retrieve a microphone. Turning back, he stands in the the center as the crowd is cheering him before he raises his hand acknowledging them before beginning in on what he has to say.
Chairman Hawthorne: I’d first like to thank you for the warm reception, and also for making Fallen Heroes 2010 the success it has been up and too this point. I have recently got our attendance figures for this evening and we have broken Omega Effect III as the largest attended ACW event in history.
This pronouncement brings a cheer from the Dallas crowd. While the stadium is not quite sold out, there appears to be in excess of seventy thousand people, amazing for a wrestling event and even more so when you consider that it’s not ACW’s grand daddy.
Chairman Hawthorne: Looking at where we are now, as opposed to at the start of this year when many predicted our finances would not allow us to make it to Omega Effect is a testament to you the fans, and to the hard workers in the back who come out each week and put on a show. With everyone in mind, it is my pleasure to announce that Omega Effect VI will be held Sunday, June 20th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A cheer comes from the crowd although as expected there are some slight groans from those gathered.
Chairman Hawthorne: Now, while I can appreciate that this is hardly ground breaking, I would also like to announce what will happen on Saturday June 19th and that is the official unveiling of the ACW Hall of Fame. This company has made it nearly seven years strong, and it is about time we recognize those who have made a large difference in making this company into what it has become. Tickets for the Hall of Fame will go on sale on Wednesday, the same time as tickets for Omega Effect does as well.
The Chairman pauses for a moment as the Omega Effect VI banner in the far right hand corner unfurls itself as everyone gasps in awe.
Chairman Hawthorne: Now I can appreciate that no one wants to listen to an old man prattle, so Phillip, if you’d like, let’s get started with our Worlds Title match.
With that Phillip walks into the ring, as Samuel Hawthorne leaves to some fan far as we pan hard once around the arena before the entrance music of Danny Mainer fills the arena.

The weak or the strong, who got it goin’ on? Ya Dead Wrong The weak or the strong, who got it goin’ on? Ya Dead Wrong
“Dead Wrong" begins to play as Chris Phenomenal emerges from the back, in a long boxing style robe, his posse accompanying him out with the ACW World Heavyweight and SLA World Heavyweight Title carried over their heads. Head down covered by the hood, Chris makes the sign of the cross and then kisses his chain, holding it to his lips for a second all while swaying back and forth to the beat of the music. Chris then drops the chain from his hands, throwing his arms outwards as the pyro’s on either side of the entrance ramp explode as he makes his way down to the ring, fully focused the last few words of advice given to him by Senator before they split, to be the best ringing in his ears. Reaching the bottom. Chris climbs into the ring between the second and third ropes and immediately goes into his corner and throws a few punches at the turnbuckle, no gesturing or taunting, focused purely on the ring and nothing else. Finally he drops the hood as he stares blankly as “Dead Wrong” is cut off. Phillip: Ladies and Gentleman, it is my pleasure to welcome you all to Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas and tonight's Worlds Title bout. Now introducing the challenger to my left. The crowd roars as Chris posse heads towards the back, their job done for the evening. Phillip: Weighing in tonight at 215 pounds, he is the King of Vegas, looking to main event Omega Effect in his hometown, Danny Mainer!!!Mainer throws up the X as the cheers continue before being replaced by boos as Phillip turns to his right. Phillip: And now, the champion. Holding both the SLA and ACW World Heavyweight Titles, hailing from Harlem, New York. "The Prodigy" Chris Phenomenal!!!There are more jeers but Chris is unfazed as he looks across at Mainer, silently waiting for the bell.

And here we go. It was the world heavyweight title on the line now as both Danny Mainer and Chris Phenomenal squared off, face to face in the middle of the ring. Chris Phenomenal despite having nearly a week to heal up from his being launched off the stage was still quite bruised and battered however that didn’t matter now. He had to bring his A-game as the hungry challenger was ready to pick apart his weaknesses. Inside their heads their thoughts were racing and as the bell rang the world knew that this truly was a make or break. DING DING DING! McNally: “This is it, this is it! The moment we’ve all been waiting for, the long and painful journey between Danny Mainer and Chris Phenomenal comes to a head and it’s all for the crown jewel of ACW, the world heavyweight title. These two young lions with pure tenacity and ferocity have held in as the numbers dwindled away. They’ve survived Hawthorne’s cleansing of the roster, they’ve survived their lengthy battles in their wrestling careers and now as a result of their hard work they must fight each other to determine who truly is the man! And we were off! Mainer and Chris, the dynamic and charismatic wrestlers that were complete polar opposites in terms of their size and fighting style had one thing in common, the drive to succeed and the fast paced nature of their battlestyles. Though in this case it was different, both men slowly walked towards each other and Mainer rather sarcastically offered a shake of the hand. To the surprise of the audience, Chris took Mainer’s hand and they had a firm, masculine handshake to the delight of the audience. The handshake lasted for several seconds until finally Mainer went to pull away but the powerful ham-fist hands simply refused to let go. Mainer yanked away but Chris pulled harder and attempted to strike him down with a clothesline. Mainer however, quick thinking ducked and twirled behind Chris cinching in a lighting fast Small Package Pin. Edison: “OH MY GOD! THIS IS IT! NEW CHAMPION?!” ONE!
TWO!
THRREEEEEE—KICKOUT!McNally: “WOW! That was nearly over right there!” Edison: “I thought Mainer had it!” Chris Phenomenal quickly rolled up onto all fours, infuriated by what just happened but he wasn’t quick enough on his feet. Mainer sprinted up and kicked him square in the ribs sending him rolling onto his back. Mainer laid in the repeated, vicious stamps onto the chest taking advantage of the downed and angry giant. Phenomenal curled up into a ball and tried to take the kicks as best he could so Mainer ran around and planted a vicious soccer kick right at the base of CP’s spine. CP groaned in agony and Mainer, ever the opportunist dragged the champion to his feet in a front facelock. The problem with that though was that CP was vastly heavier and he could only lift him up to his knees. Mainer figured that would do and slammed CP with a kneeling DDT. CP’s face got planted into the floor and Mainer quickly rolled CP over and hooked the shoulders and leg. McNally: “COVER!” ONE!
TWO!
KICKOUT!Edison: “Oh WOW! What in the Hell?!” Mainer grabbed Chris by his head and hauled him off the floor again but this time the warrior from Harlem lunged forward driving shoulder first into the abdomen of Mainer. He lifted Mainer and drove him straight into the turnbuckle with absolute authority. Mainer drove a knee square into the sternum of Mr. Phenomenal sending him stumbling back a touch, enough for Mainer to attempt a sunset flip but on the over-shoot CP twisted his body and hooked the leg and shoulders in the Schwein position. He turned around and ran to the centre of the ring before planting him straight on the mat with an old school style Celtic Cross to a roar of approval from the audience. He quickly dragged Mainer off the floor before hitting an Inverted Atomic Crotch kneeing The King of Vegas square in the crotch before hooking up the Reverse STO to complete The Harlem Hurt sequence. Another pin ensued. ONE!
TWO!
KICKOUT!Mainer stared straight at the nearest camera, his eyes ablaze with fury with the moment he had to spare as Chris hauled him off his ass only to drop him again with a big European Uppercut. He lifted Mainer again, as Chris began to get over-confident and started toying with the experienced lightweight wrestler. Mainer with a wicked throat-jab caused The Phenomenal One to stagger backwards into the centre of the ring followed by another right hand jab but Chris instinctively caught this and transitioned into an Over the Shoulder Arm Drag Judo throw but Mainer of course upon landing kicked up both his legs and rolled the hunched over Phenomenal into a double-leg hook pin, cinched in tightly as the referee RAF slid to the ground to make the count. Edison: “Another roll-up!” ONE!
TWO!
THREEE-KICKOUT ONCE AGAIN!McNally: “OH wow! This match will continue!” Mainer was on fire once again, there was an adrenaline rush coursing through his body. Mainer kipped-up to his feet as sparks danced in his eyes, an electrical fire was raging inside his body and he was ready and roaring to go. As CP rolled towards the ropes, Mainer danced around in the centre of the ring screaming his lungs out as he was ready to finish the job once and for all and to seal that world heavyweight title. Sprinting back to the nearest corner, he stuck his arms out to the side and bellowed as a dazed and delirious Chris Phenomenal slowly but surely staggered to his feet. Chris turned to see Mainer fly towards him and cameras flash all around the building as The Flatliner cracked The Phenomenal One straight between the eye. Mainer on the fall stumbled towards the ropes and turned to see the referee who to the dismay of both Mainer and the audience was being distracted by none other than the Capitalists who were attempting to climb into the ring. As Mainer’s fist coiled around the rope, he felt his blood begin to boil. McNally: “What the Hell is this?! Senator’s goons are getting involved!” Edison: “Smart tactics, if Mainer loses this match he’s gonna’ have to climb that ladder ALL over again to get another title shot!” McNally: “Dammit to Hell, Eddie! This isn’t fair!” Mainer stared, fury-mode engaged at The Capitalists but before he could do anything about it he felt a hand rest upon his shoulder. Mainer twirled around to see none other than the ringleader, Senator Steve Phillips himself with a devious smirk spread across his face. Danny Mainer: ”No...”Senator: “Yes.” And with that exchange of words, The Republican slammed the centreplate of Chris Phenomenal’s world heavyweight title straight into Mainer’s face making sure that it was the only taste of championship gold that the Vegas wrestler would get. Mainer’s eyes rolled into the back of his head took a few steps back stumbling before crashing flat-out on his back centre of the ring. The crowd were absolutely livid at this as The Capitalists fled the scene of the crime back into the audience while Phillips returned the title belt to its rightful location and made an extraction himself. CP slowly crawled towards the challenger and draped an arm over his chest, too dazed by the Flatliner still to do anything about it. Edison: “It can’t end like this! SCREW THAT!” McNally: “The smarts of Chris Phenomenal have prevailed, good night Danny Mainer!” ONE!
TWO!
THREE!-KICKOUT!

Edison: “WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAAAAAAAAAT?!” McNally: “And The King of Vegas gets the shoulder up! This is turning into an instant classic! How in God’s name does someone kick out of being damn-near beheaded by a shot like that?!” Edison: “I dunno, but Phenomenal can’t believe his own eyes!” Phenomenal quickly made it up to his knees and grabbed RAF’s shirt, shaking him, BEGGING him that it was a three-count but RAF simply shook his head and told him that the match would still continue. CP grabbed Mainer by his head and went for the first thing that seemed obvious, a Superman Punch but to add a little extra oomf he bounced off the nearest ropes as Mainer groggily staggered in the centre of the ring. CP got some great lift as he launched a heat seeking fist hoping to take Mainer’s head off but somehow Mainer ducked and showed some of his fantastic martial arts skill by performing a 360 twirling jump and launching a massive roundhouse kick straight to the face. The hit connected and CP crashed to the mat completely lifeless as the crowd gasped in awe of the amazing kick. McNally: “Jesus wept! What a kick!” Mainer grabbed CP by his head and with all of the strength he had hauled his ass off the mat, not quite content with having just knocked him the F out with that huge kick. CP needed some lifting and was a heavy bastard to say the least, Mainer used every muscle in his body to haul the big man to his feet and push him into the corner for support. Chris shook his head trying to get some sense back into him as Mainer climbed out onto the apron and hung from the ring-post looking like some kind of sexy pole-dancer. Phenomenal stumbled out of the corner, unsure where Mainer was until the crowd went ballistic as he climbed on the turnbuckle. Danny Mainer: ”HEY ASSHOLE!”Phenomenal instinctively span round to see Mainer leap off the top rope, cameras flashing everywhere as Mainer went to hit a leaping Straight Flush. Mainer grabbed the head but somehow Phenomenal retained his posture and Mainer hit the ground hard. Phenomenal dragged Mainer out of the corner by his legs and did a jackknife pin and as RAF slid to make the count he put his feet up on both ropes. ONE!
TWO!
THR-RAF: “Get your damn feet off the ropes, wise-guy!” Edison: “I KNEW we could count on RAF to make this a fair battle!” The crowd went crazy again as they thought CP would’ve gotten away with the perfect crime but alas RAF was MUCH, MUCH too sharp for that. CP had enough of RAF and his goody two-shoes ways and decided to pick a fight with the stern referee. He got up and walked towards him, menacingly mouthing off about pinfalls that should’ve been and saying that he’s trying to help Mainer. He jabbed a sharp finger into RAF’s chest which infuriated the legendary referee to no end. Chris Phenomenal: ”I am so SICK and damn tired of you trying to screw me over!”RAF: “You should pay attention to what you’re doing!” Chris Phenomenal: ”Hell are you talking about?”Mainer grabbed CP by his shoulders and span him around before leaping up and this time successfully hitting The Straight Flush, the single knee facebreaker damn-near causing CP’s skull to burst out of the back of his head. CP rolled into a picture perfect position by the turnbuckle as the flash of cameras was enough to cause epilepsy. Mainer quickly climbed up the turnbuckle as the end drew near before finally, FINALLY he leapt off with The Double Down double-jump moonsault. The dive connected and Mainer crashed onto CP like thunder, a manic grin on his face as he hooked the leg and the shoulder as the crowd counted alongside RAF. ONE!
TWO!
THREEEEEEEE!
DING DING DING! [/center] McNally: “That’s it! THAT’S IT! The Phenomenal Age is over and we are ushered into a new era. Ladies and gentlemen, on this night, Danny Mainer has won the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE! It’s taken him six, long years but finally The King has reached his throne and what a glorious match! Props go to Chris Phenomenal, he had several near-falls but he simply could not hold back The Sex Tornado who has finally struck championship gold thanks in point to that Crucible contract!” Edison: “That was a rollercoaster of a battle! Mainer pulled out all the stops and came out on top! What a match!” Jones: “Here is your winner and the NEWWWWWWW ACW Woooooorld Heavyweight Champion, DANNY. MAIIIIIIIIINEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRR!” ”Move Any Mountain” hit the speakers as the crowd went bat-shit. The referee was handed the title and Mainer just to rub it into Senator gloriously kissed his title belt. CP rolled out of the ring underneath the bottom rope and crashed to the floor knowing that he had a matter of minutes to straighten himself out for the Fallen Heroes Battle Royal so he was going to let Mainer celebrate with his title. There would be no confetti though for Danny Mainer, but it was enough as the crowd cheered and applauded his valiant efforts. Dropping to his knees in the centre of the ring he clutched the title belt and hugged it tightly, never wanting to let go. However, if you’ve been following up with Warfare it was obvious that Danny Mainer had something to say now...

Proposal Ultimatum Danny Mainer Tired, exhausted and clutching that world title tightly in his arms, Danny Mainer had a microphone now and was ready to deliver a message to the ACW Universe. He was exhausted but he’d claimed his prize and now, he had the Fallen Heroes Battle Royale to take into account but he’d made a promise and he was going to live up to it. He was going to set things straight before he embarked on the true road of a champion.Danny Mainer: ”First of all... I just wanted to say. To each and every one of you live here at Fallen Heroes, and everyone watching at home. My fans all around this big, bass-pumping, booty-thumping bandwagon that we call Planet Earth and all those great people I’ve met in my travels as a wrestler. All the people that’ve pulled me up when I’m down, all the people that put me down when I got too big for my boots. The amazing people, the late Mei-Feng Shinoda, Julia Ramirez, Raymond & Charlotte King, Mikey Badass, Jake Steele, Dave Shadow, Shelton Splash. All those people that I’ve met in my near six year journey I say thank you. I couldn’t have done it without you all!”The crowd whooped in agreement with Mainer’s speech.Danny Mainer: ”With this world heavyweight title around my waist I can now proudly declare myself champion of the people. I want to represent all of my MainerMainiacs each and every time I step inside the squared circle and give you the representation that you, the greatest wrestling fans in the world deserve because without each and everyone of you I wouldn’t he here right now. I will be a champion representing truth, honour, intelligence and most of all? Competition and striving to be superior. I want to become an ambassador for this sport but in order to do so, I need to clear my conscience. This is all but a foot-note in a list of lies if I can’t come clean about the mistakes I’ve made. The people I’ve hurt, the things I’ve done.”The crowd were riled into a frenzy by this until Mainer mentioned coming clean about things, at which case a hushed silence took over the arena.Danny Mainer: ”Yeah, that’s right. I’ve made mistakes. Many. I maybe the world heavyweight champion but I’m not perfect. I’m just like each and every one of you, everyone watching right now can look deep down inside their own hearts and they can pin-point one exact moment in their life and wish they’d done something or wish they hadn’t done something and I’m about to talk about that moment now in my life now. Everyone has had that someone in their lives. To quote a famous band, it was someone who heard their prayers, someone who cared, their own personal Jesus. Well, you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone. I learnt that the hard way. I cheated on the love of my life, Caitlynn Dufraisne with not one, not two, not three but SIX different women. Julia Ramirez my ex-girlfriend from Camden County, the late Mei-Feng Shinoda who took her own life when I showed remorse to being with her, Catherine Gomez, an interviewer from a wrestling tournament I took part in, Suzannah Brixton, a girl from Scotland, Katrina Baird, the ghetto rat sister of Adrian Baird and finally? Our own Charlotte King.”The crowd whistled in approval of this laundry list of women he’s slept with, clapping and applauding.Danny Mainer: ”No, please, don’t applaud it. Because it came at the expense of the one who I truly loved. Tonight, I’m dedicating my victory to Caitlynn Dufraisne and 10 month old daughter Alexa. Caitlynn. Every day I get rocked by the realization that you’re not waking up next to me and I hate every single day that I see that empty space. Please, Caitlynn. I’ve done all this for you. I’ve broken my body and kept sending you my pay cheques to keep you and my daughter well looked after. I know I’ve made my mistakes but so has everyone in this building. I’m only human. WE’RE, only human. DO I not deserve a second chance? I’m a rotten, lousy bastard but at the end of the day there’s truly only room for one in my heart... and that is for you. I’m sorry ladies and gentlemen to take time of your ACW show for this but... I had my stage, I had to do what was right for me. Now, let’s... let’s move onto The Battle Royale!”The crowd whooped and applauded as a migraine-rocked Chris Phenomenal groaned unhappily in accordance with this. Having taken every moment to recover from this epic battle with Danny, Chris painstakingly slowly climbed into the ring to conserve as much energy as possible as Phillip Jones prepared to announce the battle royale.FADE

Match: ACW 2010 Fallen Heroes Battle Royale Credit: Senator, Danny Mainer, TJ, Jason Freeman and Chris Phenomenal
Phillip: Welcome ACW to the two thousand and ten Fallen Heroes battle royale! Competitors will enter on a timed interval, and can be eliminated only when both feet touch the arena floor. The last man standing in the ring will earn himself a shot at the ACW World Heavyweight Champion at Omega Effect, or in the case of Danny Mainer, he will be able to choose his own opposition! So, without further ado, let us introduce the first two competitors...this happens to be quite convenient as THE FIRST ENTRANT, CHRIS PHENOMENAL, is right here at ringside! And that isn't all, for the second entrant in the battle royale, to start things off, is none other than YOUR ACW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, DANNY MAINER!
Mainer hands his belt off to a ringside official, while CP enters the ring, wasting no time. Both CP and Mainer walk to the middle of the ring, neither backing down an inch, despite Phenomenal's considerable size advantage, and in fact, Mainer is the first to strike, leaping up with a clubbing blow to the head, and knocking his opponent back. CP answers with a big side knee lift to the midsection, and bounces off the ropes, going for a Partisan Kick, which Mainer easily avoids by swaying back, going for an enzuigiri. Phenomenal parries the head kick away, picking Mainer up, and going for a vertical suplex over the top rope, but the King of Vegas is as lucky as ever, and floats over, landing on the top rope, springing back off with a dropkick as CP turns around...but the former champion is fast on his feet, and meets the current ACW champion with a leaping dropkick, both men clashing in mid-air and falling to the mat.
Both CP and Mainer jump back to their feet, and Mainer does so right into a commando roll, all the better to avoid CP's elbow smash attempt, and jumps up into a hurricanrana attempt. Phenomenal shoves Mainer off into a backflip, and the champ lands on his feet, before throwing out a quick dropkick to the knee, which CP simply steps over, picking Mainer up from behind into a backdrop suplex. Mainer bounces off the mat, but does so right back to his fighting stance, and then sends CP down to the ground with a flying armbar takedown into his Fruit Machine variation on the classic jujigatame, repeatedly sitting up and snapping down to his back to reapply the pressure. It is in the middle of this submission that the first countdown starts for the next competitor:

Phillip: Introducing next, Trance Armstron...er...Trace Birmingham!
Trace Birmingham runs down to the ring in a dash that would make Usain Bolt or even Charles Robinson proud, sliding in under the ropes. Seeing Mainer's armbar, Trace sees his opportunity to get a shot at the champ, and leaps up with a big leg drop...only to land flat on his coccyx as Mainer sits up. CP uses the distraction to break free, and both current and former champ take a moment to look at Trace Birmingham as he stands up, holding his tailbone. CP shrugs, and Mainer smirks for a second, before going back to fighting. Trace, once fully recovered, attempts to join the fray, only to receive two back elbows delivered simultaneously, before Mainer and Phenomenal continue to throw punches at each other. The two are unable to break their stalemate, until Birmingham finally makes his first difference making move of the match, tripping CP up with an awkward chop block, but only moments later, a flying double knee attack lands on the back of his head, courtesy of Danny Mainer. Phenomenal is enraged as he gets to his feet, but Mainer does not allow him his vengeance, instead knocking his foe in the head with a jumping forearm, and then hits a series of roundhouse kicks to the ribs and thigh.
McNally: Danny Mainer won that title, but he's sure not in a good mood.
Edison: Hell no, he's not, he's as ticked as Poseidon was towards the Greeks in the Odessey!
McNally: The Odyssey? Eddie, you never cease to surprise me...
Mainer attempts to throw CP over the top rope, but his strength is insufficient in this scenario, and instead, Phenomenal hoists his foe over the top. Mainer, though, slides right back in above the middle rope, and unloads a flurry of horizontal Muay Thai knee strikes to the ribs. CP shoves his opponent back, and he falls right into a Trace Birmingham school boy cradle. Trace verbally counts his own pinfall...
...One! ...Two! ...THREE!
And as soon as he realizes that pinfalls don't count, he releases the hold and backs away from an irate Mainer, just as the clock counts down for the next entrant:

Phillip Jones: Introducing next, Adrian Baird!
Baird walks down the ring, and Trace panics more and more as the roughneck looms closer to the ring, but something in his head snaps, and he flips a middle finger at Baird. Trace instantly regrets the move, and tries to run away, only to run right into CP, who hits him with a huge O-Soto-Gari Judo throw. Baird climbs into the ring, and makes a beeline for Birmingham, elbowing Mainer aside, and shoving CP out of the way. Unfortunately for the Scotsman, both Mainer and CP don't take well to being shoved around, and the two grab him from behind, right into a double backdrop suplex, saving Trace Birmingham at the last moment before a ferocious headbutt could scramble his brains.
Edison: I love it, Mainer and CP just want to fight, but the other competitors keep getting in their way!
Baird, having only been annoyed, jumps back to his feet, bellowing loudly as he attempts a double clothesline, which both of his targets duck, sending him right into Trace Birmingham for a corner crush attack. Baird turns around, right into a CP Superman Punch which bounces him into Trace again, this time, back first, sending Birmingham slumping down to a seated position. As if that wasn't bad enough, Baird, somehow still conscious, stumbles forward, right into the Straight Flush knee facebuster from Mainer, which sends him dropping straight on his back...and the back of his head happens to land forcefully on Birmingham's nether regions.
Trace: AAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW!
This time, Mainer and Phenomenal can hardly contain their laughter, and each chuckle for a moment, before catching sight of the other, and renewing their violent struggle, Mainer trying for a back switch, but Phenomenal turns with him, and goes for a sprawl. The King of Vegas slides back to avoid being crushed to the mat, and throws a head kick, which CP effortlessly blocks, before throwing him into the ropes, and trying for a flying shoulderblock, which misses due to an extremely high leapfrog evasion. Both Mainer and CP rebound off the ropes again, Phenomenal going for a standard shoulderblock, but Mainer jumps over the shoulder with a flying leg lariat, bringing his foe down.
McNally: These two do not know the meaning of the word "quit." They just went through a grueling World Title bout, and are still itching to fight each other. Rather reminds me of the old days in boxing when fighters would face each other in fifteen round wars, frequently month after month.
Edison: And you gripe at me for using an ancient reference!

Phillip: Coming to the ring, VorteX
As VorteX comes down, Mainer turns his attention to Trace, going after him with a sick smile on his face. It's time to for things to get serious...sort of, as Trace begins to run away around the ring as VorteX slides in the ring and Mainer instead gives up his chase of Trace and instead goes right after VorteX, the two begin to brawl as Chris Phenomenal gets to his feet and with Trace's back turned taps him on the shoulder. Trace turns around and seeing Chris, memories of his fist slamming into his face three weeks ago, Trace runs, trying to throw himself over the top rope but CP grabs him and pulls him back in. In the meanwhile, VorteX has backed Mainer up against the ropes and connects with a big chop, only to be caught by a launched Trace missile by Chris Phenomenal.
All three men crumple in the corner as Chris turns his attention to the back Scotsmen, just recovering after being nearly knocked out by the Superman Punch and then the Straight Flush. Baird looks at Chris Phenomenal and tries to bully him, but Chris wins out, forcing him against the ropes and then whipping him across. On the rebound, Chris looks for a big back drop but Baird connects with a jumping knee to the face, sending Chris stumbling. Baird turns around towards the corner with the three car pile up and eats a massive kick from Mainer, sending him into the ropes before Mainer connects with a closing, sending the big fella to the floor below as the countdown begins.

Phillip: And from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in 224lbs he is the NUMBER 6 ENTRANT... THE CRIMINAAAAAAL!”
Criminal by Eminem hits the sound system and the man himself sprints out of the curtain looking to get right into the thick of it. Sliding under the bottom ropes he’s immediately confronted by angry lookin’ Danny Mainer who starts to kick the mess out of him still buzzing off of eliminating Scotsman Adrian Baird. Criminal however is fresh for the fight and quickly lunges with an uppercut cracking Mainer in the jaw. Mainer stumbled back and fell, as Criminal made it up to his feet and started to stamp on the ribs of The King of Vegas. Mainer shielded up and quickly rolled out the way while Birmingham took five in the corner and CP and VorteX sparred exchanging shots.
Meanwhile, on the outside, Adrian Baird is going ballistic kicking steel steps and shouting at random members of the audience completely livid that he is the first one out.
Edison: Look at Baird, he’s going psycho over there!
ADRIAN BAIRD: ELIMINEEERTED?! I’LL SHOR YEEEW FUCKIN’ ELIMINEERTED!
Baird pounces on the referee that made the decision and starts kicking the snot out of him while back in the ring Mainer’s getting whipped across the ring by Criminal only for the dangerous jailbird to receive a knee in the face from The King. There’s a quick shot of Birmingham scratching his ass with a look of pure relaxation on his face while CP is using his size to push VorteX into a corner and repeatedly punch a hole into his face. Back to Criminal and Mainer it seemed that Mainer is backed up against the ropes and Criminal is trying to lever him over the top rope and to the floor. It seems like he’s actually doing a good job too, despite his protests and just when it seems like Mainer’s gonna’ bowl over CP leaves Vortex to make the save.
McNally: That was a close call for Mainer but CP made the save in a rather bizarre move, I have to say.
CP slams a fist into the back of Criminal’s head and pulls him away from Mainer saving his skin somewhat. Mainer sighs a sigh of relief as now it’s time that CP gets to wail on a fellow wrestler with a rapsheet. With Mainer by CP’s side they both take an arm each and whip him only to yank him back into a Double STO slamming him on his neck on the mat. Maybe in some other world CP and Mainer could have been brothers that worked together great, ran an apothecary in Verona and married the village twins but it was in this world that they were bitter enemies working together to defeat a common nemesis in the form of Criminal. Once again the countdown is beginning and it was time indeed for the next big entry.
Edison: Here comes number 7, things are already getting crazy in here and we’re only six people in, I wonder who it’ll be!

Phillip: Introducing Next, Sachiele Willows
McNally: Yeah! Sachiele Willows, a beauty to behold is as tough as she is smart and she’ll certainly make an impact here. The smart man wouldn’t bet against her, even if she’s the lightest person in the ring!
And of course, as women do she takes her time walking to the ring until about halfway at which point she sprints and slides in underneath the bottom rope immediately going after the still ass-scratching Trace Birmingham. Seeing her run towards him in an attempt to face-wash he quickly rolls out of harms way and bounds up to his feet but even still a big right hand palm slap to the face is enough to send Trace reeling. She grabs his head and drags herself into the corner, keeping him too close to strike by planting her face into his chest and starts to ascend the turnbuckle before hitting some violent fore-arms to the back to weaken the goofball by adding some knees into the mix and keeping him pinned into the corner. While this is happening, CP is taking advantage of the downed Criminal by getting into a full mount position and slamming fists into his face in an unsportsmanlike and vicious way, hoping to dent his skull with the impact.
McNally: Jesus! This is absolute brutality, Criminal is getting thoroughly worked over by that absolutely insane Chris Phenomenal, he WANTS his title back.
As this is happening, Mainer and Vortex have taken centre stage in the middle of the ring as the two high-fliers chase each other around in an epic lightweight collision. Mainer slaps on a headlock which Vortex counters into a Back Suplex but Mainer lands on his feet and cinches in a full nelson. VorteX jumps and slips out Mainer’s grasp and attempts a Heel Hold but Mainer drops to his knees and attempts a Kimura by switching to the side. However VorteX is once again too quick and brings up the knee into Mainer’s side and soon both of them are back up to their feet. Mainer slaps on a clinch and drags VorteX into the opposite turnbuckle to Sachiele who now has Birmingham in a tarantula, the closest he’ll ever get to touching a woman intimately no doubt as Mainer slams knees into VorteX’s ribs rapidly.
Edison: Things are hectic as Birmingham is tangled up in that tarantula!
McNally: I’ll say!
Sachiele breaks the tarantula and allows Birmingham to slump to the floor before climbing back into the ring to apply a rear naked choke just for funsies despite the fact he can’t tap out in this match. CP has had enough of Criminal now and quickly flung him over the top rope onto the apron deciding what to do with him as VorteX now is hitting rapid fire mudhole stumps hoping to break ribs or bones or do whatever damage he could to the new world heavyweight champion. Meanwhile, Baird on the outside is still going psycho and security is peeling him off of the referee who is now a viciously bloody and battered mess. He quickly lifts the top of the ring steps off and yanks out what appears to be a vodka bottle with an oily rag pressed through the mouth. Drawing a zippo light from his ring trunks he lights the bottle and waves it around warding off anyone who would dare oppose him. With his one free hand he draws out a table and sets it adjacent to the ring before running up the entrance ramp throwing his Molotov at the steel stage ramp to create fire to stop security chasing after him.
Edison: MOTHER of GOD! He’s just thrown a Molotov cocktail at the security staff! That Scot is TITS crazy!”
McNally: WHAT?!
The security team are stumped as some fire department workers quickly put out the flames while Chris Phenomenal hits a big time Superman Punch and sends Criminal crashing to the ground outside in a big bloody-nosed heap.

Phillip: Coming to the ring, TJ
As TJ enters the ring, everyone takes notice and Chris Phenomenal goes right at him, everyone seems to stay in their respective battles as TJ goes sliding in. CP and him lock up and begin to just throw bombs, wasting no times on pleasantries as they exchange blow after blow. Chris eventually wins out with a knee to the mid section and delivers a clubbing overhead elbow right to the base of his neck, Chris looks to rebound with a big boot but TJ rolls out of the way and gets to his feet and on the rebound the two take each other out with massive double clotheslines.
Mainer is now taking it too Birmingham in the corner as VorteX and Sachiele are trying to make waves in the corner. There's a lot of dirty boxing going on until TJ and Chris get up to their feet and again lock up, this time collar and elbow trying to bull each other into submission. Chris looks to get the advatange with a go behind and pushes TJ off, but on the rebound TJ side steps the lariat attempt and drags Chris into a corner as the countdown begins.

Philip: Coming to the ring, Dave Shadow
As Dave Shadow sprints down to the ring, TJ notices his former team mate coming in hot and gives Chris a good, hard right hand that leaves him groggy on his feet. In the other corner, Danny Mainer is giving it to Trace Birmingham whose trying to fight back but is severely out classed, the ACW champion showing the new comer what exactly it takes to reach the top of ACW. Dave slides in and starts to throw some punches at Chris, who after the first two punches starts to throw some of his own. The two begin to exchange one for one as the crowd pops, the two in the center of the ring renewing hostilities that have existed since this time last year when they were members of rival stables, Dave in Zero Tolerance and Chris in Mega Star Alliance. In the corner, VorteX has Sachiele in a clinch but isn't able to do much with it, merely throw a couple of inside elbows. All the action is on the center as now Dave and Chris have each other by the necks and are throwing from any angle possible.
McNally: Well, these two picked up right where they left off, didn’t they Eddie?
Edison: It seems so. This is going to be interesting as these two have basically battled each other for their entire ACW tenure.
Dave forces Chris into a corner where he begins to unleash all the anger that Chris has caused Dave in the last year or so. TJ watches this happen before turning around and noticing Sachiele finishing up, throwing her mounted punches to VorteX, having escaped the clinch with a kick to the calf and then a heel trip. TJ stalks her as she gets up to her feeting, backing away from VorteX and turns around as TJ wraps his enormous hands around her neck. He laughs as she tries to prevent the inevitable as TJ lifts her up and sends her over the top rope with a Impact Bomb (Two-handed Choke bomb).
-- (Elimination--Sachiele via TJ)
McNally: There’s the third elimination. And a violent one at that.
Edison: If that’s signs to come, I think TJ is going to be a force despite coming off that match against Criminal tonight.
As the refs attend to Sachiele, Dave and Chris continue to battle, but it is Chris who has fought out of the corner and now the fight is in the middle of the ring. Mainer has abandoned his efforts to eliminate Birmingham, unable to flip him over the top but doing considerable damage and heads after VorteX, down on the canvas. TJ sees Chris getting an upper hand and goes to help his former tag team partner but is cut off by Trace. Trace orders him to a halt and TJ merely looks on, slightly amused as Mainer looks at VorteX getting to his feet and merely punts him in the gut, sending him closer Chris Phenomenal and Dave before heading after TJ. The two men force TJ into the corner and attempt to get under him and throw him over but TJ fights them off using his strength and size to his advantage. Trace comes back, looking for Mainer but TJ merely bats him away, knocking him back into Mainer, who turns him around and the two begin to brawl, leaving TJ and a recovered VorteX to fight in the corner.
Edison: They almost had TJ there.
McNally: But TJ’s too fresh to get eliminated like that. They need to wear the big man down first.
As the three pairs continue to brawl, Chris and Dave take their fight to a new level as Dave begins to club Chris down to a knee. Dave keeps applying the pressure

Philip: Coming to the ring, Tim Dwight
Edison: He’s still alive?
McNally: Tim is known for putting on quite the show in this match. The near 30 year vet is sure to make some sort of impact.
Tim slides in the ring as he is met by Chris Phenomenal, who during Tim’s entrance, managed to work himself up to his feet and shoved Dave into VorteX and TJ, hoping to get a break, only to see the wily vet and former ACW Head Trainer as an easy opponent. Brief memories of last years Fallen Heroes come across Tim's face as he heads right for Chris, the man who eliminated him last year. Chris's thoughts of an easy elimination quickly corrected as Tim comes in guns a-blazing. Chris is taken by surprise as he is again forced into the corner. On the other side of the ring, Mainer has now went from Trace to Dave Shadow, pulling him away from VorteX and TJ, TJ trying to bull VorteX over the top as the smaller man looks to use TJ's momentum against him to flip him over top. As the two superstars who have had the most battles with Chris Phenomenal in the last year face off. They begin to trade blows, each one knocking the man on the receiving end back more and more.
Trace, left without anyone to fight with merely retreats into a corner and yells at the popcorn vendor in the second row to pass him something as he watches the battles go on. Surveying Tim taking it to Chris with a few body blows, Mainer and Dave fighting for position against the ropes and TJ trying to force VorteX over the top rope, Trace sprints over and tries to scoop TJ over the rope and in the process eliminate VorteX, but the moment he grabs TJ’s leg, he struggles to pull the tree trunk off the mat. Unable to score the elimiation, Trace appears to have provoked the giant as TJ then turns his attention to the man grabbing his leg. TJ stops pushing VorteX, who falls over the ropes, but hangs on and rolls back in, skinning the cat and moves to a safe corner. TJ turn looks at Trace, who has yet to notice that TJ has noticed him. Trace looks up and sees TJ and like an 80’s cartoon, fixes TJ’s ring pants and smiles. TJ throws a right hand that connects on Trace’s face. Trace is knocked back and stumbles towards the middle of the ring where TJ lifts him up and slams him to the mat where he hits a quick leg drop. In the far corner, we see that Chris has turned the tables on Dwight. Chris drives his knee into Dwight’s mid section. Dwight drops to the bottom buckle as Chris shoves his foot into Dwight’s throat.
McNally: Oh, that’s great Chris. Abuse a 60 year old man.
Edison: This is the Fallen Heroes match Maxxie. Dwight knows what he gets into every year, this is nothing new. Just who is administering the punishment.
McNally: Still, just doesn’t seem right. Look at Chris he is smiling as he cuts off Dwight’s air supply.
As the countdown hits 15, Dave and Mainer start to punch each other to the ropes, each time stopping and shuffling towards the other just to use the momentum and deliver another punch. Mainer almost falls out of the ring, but stops and runs at Dave and hits him with so much momentum, it sends Dave out of the ring through the second and third ropes.

Philip: Coming to the ring, Buddy Ghee
McNally: ONE BAD MUTHA-
Edison: Shut your trap Max. Really, that’s kinda old already. I know the focus should be on Buddy, but look at Chris!
As Buddy came down the ramp, Chris slides under the bottom rope and starts to brawl with Dave, not allowing him to rest at all on the outside of the ring. Buddy slides in the ring and goes after TJ and shortly after is joined by VorteX as the two beat the big man down in the corner. Mainer picks up Trace, having dispatched of Dave for the moment and begins to try to eliminate him again but just like last time Trace fights him off, taking every blow and not doing damage of his own but absorbing every blow thrown at him. The two then fight in the opposite corner of Dwight and Buddy, Ghee having abandoned VorteX's pursuit of TJ to go after the elderstatesmen. Mainer scores with the Clinch kicks and then finally finsihing off the Russian Roulette with a massive Superkick right to the face of Trace that sends him slinking down along the turnbuckle.
Outside the ring, the refs try to separate Dave and Chris and are successful for all of 4 seconds as Dave fights through two groups of refs and security and tackles Chris into the barrier. Chris clubs Dave’s back, which makes him back up. Chris throws some punches over several men trying to break them up again, but this time, it is Chris, who runs up the steel steps and across the apron just to jump off and splashes onto the crowd of security and ref’s holding Dave back. Chris punches some of the security before attacking Dave. The two continue to brawl outside the ring for a bit until the security and refs pull them apart. Dave says fine and rolls back into the ring and runs to the opposite ropes, bouncing off them and suicide dives THROUGH the middle and top rope, taking out Chris and his “security”. Like Chris did to him, Dave attacks some of the security guards and then focuses on Chris.
Edison: Oh my!
McNally: I don’t know what was more impressive, the move or the ability to perform that move without eliminating himself!
All this time the counter gets closer to the 10 final seconds. Inside of the ring, TJ is still being worked on by Buddy and VorteX but at this point in time, are joined by Danny Mainer, all three grunting as if they're try to expel a large load from their posteriors instead of the ring. Tim Dwight and Trace are in side by side corners, both having been knocked out with devastating blows. With fifteen seconds remaining until the next entrant, Chris hops the barricade, hoping to gain an advantage in moving through the crowd, maybe even getting a good spot to jump Dave as he follows him.

Philip: Coming to the ring, Senator Phillips!
Edison: Just in time to see his protégé run from a fight.
McNally: Oh how ironic, just when help comes for Chris, he is not around to get it!
As Senator slides in he takes notice of the gang of men around TJ, the gang includes VorteX, Buddy and Mainer. Senator joins in. But eventually, a missed punch that lands on someone other than TJ causes the gang to break down, fracturing off into different brawls, Senator takes on Buddy as Mainer and VorteX take each other on. Meanwhile in the crowd, a circle of fans have moved their chairs and created a fight circle, which isn’t good for Chris as he attempts to get out and away from Dave. He moves towards a woman and tries to move her out of the way, but she slaps him across the face which makes Chris angry and he turns around into the first of Dave Shadow. Another attempt to get out fails when Chris is punched by a male member of the crowd. As Chris backs up, Dave throws his knee into his mid section and pushes into the wall of fans who push him back towards Dave who throws another punch, this one drops Chris.
McNally: Ouch, not only is Chris fighting Dave, apparently he has to contend with the crowd too.
Edison: Brings a new meaning to “hostile crowd” doesn’t it Max?
McNally: Have to agree with that Eddie.
Dave goes on the offensive as we refocus on inside the ring. We see Mainer vs VorteX, Senator vs Dwight, and Trace vs Buddy. The group having down a switch around as Trace and Dwight recover from their respective beat downs. TJ is backing away, trying to maintain as much stamina as possible for later in the match. VorteX has Mainer in the corner as Dwight is taking it to Senator in a battle between the Senior Superstars of ACW. On the other side, Trace has Buddy almost over the ropes, but Buddy uses the ropes to push off of and send Trace back a bit. Buddy is now leaning on the ropes as Trace runs at Buddy. Buddy dips his should and sends Trace over the ropes. Trace lands on his feet and throws his arms in the air, almost as if he tried to stick the landing.
-- (Elimination—Trace Birmingham via Buddy Ghee)
Edison: Tooda-loo Trace.
McNally: Well, he gets a 9.5 from the German judge for that landing.
Trace: Wait. NO! LET ME GET A RETRY!
As he pleads, the ref’s show him the ramp and force Trace to make his walk of shame. Trace continues to talk to himself, trying to convince himself he didn’t get eliminated but the replay of him sticking his elimination is shown as he looks up. He turns around and Buddy is laughing. Trace walks back behind the curtains but then sneaks back in, thinking he's outsmarted the officiating crew. They've seen it coming however, as Joey Reynolds and Keiji Makabe escort Trace back to his locker room, leaving RAF all by himself at ringside.

Philip: Coming to the ring, Thunder Train!
|
|
|
Post by Kim Jong CP on May 2, 2010 17:05:28 GMT -5
The gargantuan Thunder Train comes down to the ring and immediately makes his present felt as he goes right after TJ, the two behemoths making their acquaintance with each other. They take center stage for a moment as the two brawl in the center, big right hands exchanged before Thunder Train scores with a big blow, knocking TJ off balance so Train can score with a big clothesline.
Thunder Train: OM NOM NOM!
On the outside of the ring in the stands Chris and Dave are giving each other what for, making sure that the other is incapable of making it back to the ring. Chris manages to duck a blow by Dave and looks to slam him to the ground with a basic power slam, doing so and begins to kick Dave in the ribs with soccer style kicks. Back in the ring, Vortex nearly has Mainer out, pushing him up against the top turnbuckle whilst Senator has Dwight locked up and connects with a Polarizer, drawing a big roar from the crowd as he turns his attention to aiding Vortex in getting rid of Mainer, failing earlier in the evening but hoping to succeed here. Buddy, having stayed on the outside goes after Senator and pulls him away, likely saving Danny Mainer as the countdown begins. Train goes over towards Buddy and Senator and merely bats the smaller Ghee away, wanting some of that Washington style beef.

Philip: Coming to the ring, Jason Freeman!
There’s no rush to the ring for Jason Freeman, the man returning to in-ring action tonight. In fact, he walks down the ramp at an extremely leisurely pace, eyeing the action in the ring, seeming to scout out the match in front of him. Inside the ring, things have switched around a bit. VorteX still has Danny Mainer in the corner, and is attempting to lift him up and over the ropes instead of forcing him over but Mainer is still holding on. TJ lifts Buddy Ghee, having gotten to his feet and avoided Thunder Train again, in a military press slam, looking to bring him over to the side of the ring and throw him out, but Buddy desperately gets off of TJ’s shoulders landing behind him before it’s too late. Buddy bounces off the ropes, and charges forward but TJ spins around and almost decapitates him as he explodes forward with a huge clothesline at the same time as Thunder Train connects with an OM NOM BOMB on Senator, nearly breaking him in two but Senator manages to reverse it into some form of hold armbar. Senator lets go quickly however as he scrambles away, sensing TJ coming in, more than willing to allow another man to do his dirty work. TJ has already wrestled once tonight, but he feels some momentum at his side, and pauses, allowing Thunder Train to get to his feet as the two men stare each other down, this time properly as the ring is all to themselves.
McNally: Well, this should be interesting!
Edison: If there’s anybody who can take down Train, it’s TJ!
McNally: Tell that to Train.
Edison: I think I’ll pass…
The fans begin to cheer, as these are the two biggest men in the match right now, and as a result the fans cannot wait to see them tear it up. In the corner, Mainer breaks free from VorteX, and now has reversed their positions, and VorteX is the one in danger of elimination. On the outside, Dave and Chris have managed to work themselves free of the fight circle but are now nowhere to be seen, the standing crowd providing shelter, or quite possibly having fought somewhere onto the concourse away from camera crews. Buddy lies on the ground clutching his neck, and Senator is in the corner now grappling with Tim Dwight, the sparring between the two friends now on a much larger stage with much greater stakes. Then, to the crowd’s delight, TJ begins unleashing punches to Train, and Train begins returning them, the two monstrous forces attempting to gain the upperhand and push the other to the side of the ring for a possible elimination. The crowd completely eats it up.
And where is Freeman during all of this? Good question. He had made his way to ringside, but never entered the ring. His sly eye recognizing that the competitors were a bit too busy to think much of him, he doesn’t bother to enter, and he leans against the barricade over at the side of the ring, watching the action in front of him, scouting out his opponent’s further. He eventually has made his way around the back near the announcer’s table, where he remains relatively unnoticed, just watching in front of him.
Edison: Now that’s strategy!
McNally: Strategy? That’s cowardice.
Edison: I doubt Freeman is very afraid of anybody, but why enter the ring and risk elimination when you don’t have to? It’s strategy! He said he was going to outsmart everybody tonight didn’t he?
Edison: Well I hope he’s proud of his strategy…what’s the point of winning if you don’t do it by playing it fair?
McNally: Either way you get a title shot, and he’s not going to take risks he doesn’t have to!
Indeed, it’s not cowardice that keeps Freeman out of the ring precisely, but he still bears the memory of the three times prior he had been thrown out of that battle royal in previous years…and he has no intention of risking that happening again. Inside the ring, Train has gotten the upper hand, and TJ is against the ropes, as Train begins hitting him with some hard shots to the head, but then on the next one, TJ ducks quickly, and gets around Train. Now it’s TJ’s turn to nail Train with some shots against the ropes. TJ tries to clothesline Train over, but Train is not leaving his feet. TJ attempts to get a running start, but when he bounces off the ropes, Train has revered and he charges forward as well nailing the Full Steam Ahead on TJ, their battle not disappointing the fans at all.
Train stands on his feet, looking around the ring for a new victim. He sees where Mainer and VorteX have been brawling in the corner this whole time. They have switched momentum, but at the moment it is Mainer attempting to eliminate VorteX once more. Train backs into the opposite corner, the fans cheer, as Train runs forward, looking to squash both of them! VorteX’s feet are on the floor, and because he is facing towards Train he sees him coming, and in desperation sinks down to the floor just as Train collides with a huge body splash to Mainer’s back! VorteX is able to avoid the shot, and now Train looks around once more, feeling the momentum and ready to throw somebody in. That’s when he sees Freeman leaning on the barricades outside the ring. The two men have had quite the history together, and he is looking to get his hands on him once more. He doesn’t see however, that as soon as Train walked away, VorteX quickly climbed to the rope. Normally this is a dangerous move but there is nobody able to currently throw him outside the ring.
Just as Train is about to step forward and go outside the ring towards Freeman, he is blindsided by a huge Blackout Dropkick from VorteX! The fans cheer what was a pretty big risk to take (considering how huge Train is) and perhaps it was just because he was completely taken by surprise, but Train topples over to the ground, as VorteX lies taking a minute to regain some energy. Tim Dwight is on the ground, and Senator is on his way over to Danny Mainer who is getting up slowly after being attacked by Train, and then Senator and Mainer begin brawling. The focus is on Mainer and Senator until…

Philip: Coming to the ring, Claude LeBatard!
The crowd boos as the Frenchman makes his way out from behind the curtain. It has been a while since he’s been on TV, but in this case absence has not made the heart grow fonder. It doesn’t sound like he has many fans out in the audience tonight. He seems eager to get down to the ring, and as soon as he enters, he runs over and instantly begins stomping on Tim Dwight, who was already on the ground.
McNally: Look at him…going over and attacking the opponent who would present him the least challenge. He wasn’t even standing up!
Edison: Leave it to the French!
McNally: To any French viewers at home, I truly apologize for that…
VorteX has stood up in the ring, and so has Buddy Ghee, who had been biding his time for a while and now the two of them advance towards each other. Train has begun to stand up…and TJ is beginning to move as well, but the attention comes away from the ring and towards the barricade…the camera focuses now on the crowd, where Chris Phenomenal and Dave Shadow are still brawling, having reappeared right at ringside! As heads slowly begin turning, Dave Shadow hits a clothesline on Phenomenal, sending him right over the barricade! All eyes are now on these two, as Dave Shadow slowly makes his way over the rail, seeming to be a bit worn out. Much of their battle was not shown but it is obvious that it has taken its toll on both of them. For Phenomenal, this is especially taxing, being that he had already wrestled tonight and was not even in 100% condition then, after falling off the stage on Warfare. Chris Phenomenal is lifted up by Dave, and Dave rolls him back into the ring, and now the two of them have entered the ring once more!
CP is trying to get to life, as now that he’s in the ring, he is in danger of being eliminated. This draws forth new energy from him as he begins to stand up, and as Shadow enters the ring, CP stands up quickly, almost losing his balance as he is weak. The other members of the match have shifted around and most are brawling in pairs, but all attention is on Shadow and the former world champion, Chris Phenomenal. CP has obviously rushed to his feet to quickly, and is spending much of his effort on remaining on them, and Dave attempts to capitalize, running forward looking for the Blink, but CP is in reaching distance of the ropes, and he grabs them, holding them tightly. As a result, Dave falls but Cp remains on his feet. Dave quickly rolls over and attempts to stand up, and CP tries to explode forward with a Superman Punch, but Dave is able to duck out of the way.
Edison: This is awesome!
McNally: These two truly do know each other so well that any time they face off it’s bound to be exciting. Neither of them can hit their finishing moves!
Most of the attention is on Dave and Chris, even the wrestlers have stopped going after each other for a moment. After ducking the Superman Punch, Dave takes off towards the ropes, and rebounds, looking to attack CP and possibly knock him out of the match, but CP sidesteps, and attempts to toss Dave over the ropes using Dave’s momentum against him! CP collapses down and crawls forward towards the center of the ring, as Dave hangs onto the ropes, and lands on the apron. Dave has more in him right now than CP does, and since Dave was in control at the end of their brawl, he has enough energy that when CP stands up and turns in the center of the ring, Dave is able to leap and go for a springboard crossbody! CP once again throws himself out of the way, and Dave connects with canvas. Attention is momentarily drawn to the side of the ring where Claude LeBatard has ended the brief pause in action by attempting to throw Dwight out of the ring, but as Dwight lands on the apron, attention goes back towards the center of the ring where Dave and Chris Phenomenal are now starting to stand.
It’s Dave who moves first, once more jumping for the Blink, as CP has no more ropes to grab onto, and perhaps it’s nothing but desperation but CP is able to grab Dave right as he begins to jump. And instead of letting Dave pull him down into the Blink, he uses Dave’s own jumping momentum and a perfectly timed grab to nail him with a sloppy albeit brutal Filibuster!
Edison: He got him!!!
McNally: That may have been desperation, but Chris Phenomenal was able to get the best of that exchange!
Now that that fight has ended, the attention can return to the other various brawls going on in the ring. Everyone pairing off again and the one most significant out of it all, is the one between Danny Mainer and the Senator.Danny Mainer had attempted to throw Senator out of the ring, comeuppance for the assault with the strap earlier in the evening that had nearly cost him the title but Senator had grabbed onto the ropes. As Senator attempts to get his balance on the apron however, Mainer kicks Senator’s legs out from under him, and taken by surprise, Senator almost falls once more, however he has the ropes held tightly, and with tenacity is able to remain in the match, as he holds the ropes, and attempts to get his feet steady on the apron as Mainer attempts to stop him from doing so and tries to get him off the apron. It is then when out of nowhere a shot nails Mainer from behind. Chris Phenomenal has come to the rescue of Steve Phillips, and he begins beating on Mainer, as Mainer backs into the corner, and now the two men who faced each other just earlier tonight are going at it, as Senator gives a look of gratitude to Phenomenal. Then Senator enters the ring once more, and now Senator and CP both attack Mainer. TJ has been fighting VorteX, but he drops him to the ground with a sidewalk slam, and then goes to join the brawl, hitting CP from behind, and now we have a two-on-two…CP and Senator taking on Mainer and TJ…Then…

Philip: Coming to the ring at number 16, XS3!
The crowd seems to erupt for one of their favorites, as XS3 charges out from backstage, eager to get into the ring, and win looking for one more shot at the gold. But strangely he goes not into the ring, but around it…right towards Jason Freeman! Yes, Freeman still was leaning against the barricade outside watching everything unfurl, but he looks up and before he can do anything, XS3 grabs him and throws him into the ring! Freeman gets up quickly, and before he can do much of anything XS3 has entered the ring. The two men go to blows quickly, Freeman realizes there is no getting out of this one, and XS3 determined to do some damage. Both men are completely fresh, as neither one has been in the match yet. Freeman is getting into his first match in months, and XS3 is fired up with the chances of a title shot possibly less than 30 minutes away, and so both men are running high on energy. XS3 gets the upperhand though, however, and a hard shot from him sends Freeman to the floor. Freeman is up quickly, but is sent down once again. XS3 attempts to hit him again, but this time Freeman grabs XS3, wrapping his arm around XS3’s neck, and attempting to knee him in the ribs, the two continuing their fight.
The attention is mainly right now on the XS3/Freeman brawl, but there are other things to watch in the ring as well. The Mainer/TJ vs CP/Senator brawl is in the upper left corner, and they are going at it without signs of stopping. In another corner, Claude and Train are going at each other…or rather, Train is going at Claude. Claude was able to handle Tim Dwight, but Train is a harder opponent to knock down, and Claude is not exactly fit for fighting larger opponents. It seems that the only French things that Train likes are French Fries, because he seems to hit Claude with even more ferocity than he was when fighting TJ. The third corner has Buddy Ghee and VorteX going at each other. The fourth corner has Tim Dwight, catching his breath after the assault he suffered at the hands of LeBatard.
Edison: This ring is getting filled up!
McNally: And you have to realize how much harder this match gets. The more wrestlers in the ring, the more you have to watch your back. Edison: There are twelve wrestlers in the ring right now!
McNally: Exactly. That’s twelve people you have to try to watch out for at the same time. It’s extremely hard for any wrestler in this match.
Edison: Hard for the WRESTLERS? What about for the commentators! I can barely keep track of what’s going on in there! Oh man! Buddy Ghee almost just threw out VorteX!
Indeed he did. Buddy Ghee attempted to get VorteX out of the ring, but VorteX landed on the apron. Buddy Ghee had turned away after throwing him, thinking that he was eliminated…but when the crowd reacts he turns around and sees VorteX on the apron. Ghee approaches, and VorteX attempts to thrust his shoulder through the ropes planning on hitting Ghee, but Ghee sidesteps just in time. In a quick thinking move, Ghee bounces off the ropes, and since VorteX’s upperbody is still in the ring over the second rope, Ghee hits VorteX with a scissors kick! Ghee gets up celebrating the genius move, but unluckily for him, VorteX falls into the ring and not out of it.
In the corner, Claude is attempting to get away from Train, as he hits him with an eyepoke. Train is stunned for a moment, and Claude, having nowhere to really go, reaches back, and uses the ropes to help him sit on the turnbuckle, hoping to at least have better shots at Train from higher ground. Train is stunned from the eyepoke, and as he approaches Claude, Claude begins hitting him with hard punches to the head. It seems to be working actually, as Train sinks down a bit, causing Claude to grin and pose to the fans to some boos. He gets overconfident however, as Train reaches up and grabs Claude around the throat! The fans erupt as Train gives Claude a choketoss that throws him all the way across the ring, causing him to roll into the complete opposite turnbuckle…the one that Ghee and VorteX had been fighting in just moments before.
In another corner, the two on two brawl continues. It does not come close to any eliminations, however, because every time for example, CP tries to eliminate Mainer, TJ is always there to stop it. So the two impromptu teams just continue to beat each other down. All of these men are well equipped for brawls, but perhaps the two with the biggest advantage in this situation have to be TJ because of his size and strength, and CP because of his background. Throughout all this, the XS3/Freeman fight has not lost any momentum at all, and neither man has yet to attempt an elimination or get the upperhand.
Throughout the space between XS3's entrant and the next one, all of these brawls continue. Then as Buddy Ghee attempts to lift up the now motionless VorteX and get him out of the ring, the countdown begins once more.
