Brian Nicholes Position: Play-by-play commentator of SLA Overdose Height: 6'0 Weight: 195 pounds. Age: 38 Hometown: Sacramento, California Play by: Tony Shivone History: There is not a wrestling hold this man does not know, and if it is new, he will be the first to give it a name. Schooled by the great Gordon Sully, Nicholes has been a natural since the first day he slapped on a headset. He later polished both his game and Japanese with a stint with NJPW in the late 90's. Nicholes calls the action fairly and never has an agenda behind the microphone. His only concern is to make sure to deliver the best broadcast possible. With “Fishsticks” McGavin by his side, that is sometimes easier said that done. A lifelong fan of this business, he has 15 years experience of calling the action for various federations, most notably Ken Davis’ Empire Wrestling. Known for never have making a mistake during a live broadcast for 11 years straight, several fans tune in each week just to see him slip up and ruin his streak. One would think that he would crumble under that kind of pressure, but it seems to perfect him even more. Even when a crazy heel comes breathing down his neck, Nicholes keeps his cool.
