There's a cheer from the crowd, but there is still a lot more to go, as VorteX manages to get up to his feet. As the only one currently standing, Panther makes his way over, and the duo lock up. VorteX throws Panther at the ropes, and Panther catapults off them furiously. VorteX doubles over, but Panther sees this, being able to jump over VorteX's body, and continue running. He hits off the other ropes, grabbing VorteX by the arm and flipping him towards the ropes. VorteX then hits the ropes, and Panther tries to fight fire with fire, doubling over. However VorteX is one step ahead, running forwards and taking Panther into a Sunset Flip. The cover is made, but the referee only manages to get to two before Panther is able to roll out of it. He goes to low dropkick the seated VorteX, but as he lifts himself up, he's greeted to a higher dropkick, this from the now-raised Criminal, to a huge pop from the crowd. Panther flies backwards and hits the mat with a thud, before rolling out of the ring in a vain attempt to recover. But as this happens, he will be unaware of the goings on in the ring, where Criminal lifts VorteX up. They both grapple, and Criminal tosses the champion to the ropes, before hitting him with a Spinebuster that shakes the ring. He makes the cover, but Wheeler is able to dive over, breaking up the cover much to the annoyance of the rookie Criminal.
Criminal manages to get to his feet, and he locks up with Wheeler. They are both about the same weight, so when they lock up it doesn't look like either man is going to get one up over the other. But one does, and this man is Trent Wheeler. He manages to hit an Irish Whip, and he takes Criminal down with a High Angled Sidewalk Slam. The ring shakes with almost 450 pounds of force clattering the ring, but Wheeler doesn't have much time to react, as he gets up, only for VorteX to beat him to the punch. VorteX kicks him in the gut, and plants him with a Whirlwind of Destruction. However, he cannot make the cover, as he sees Panther rolling into the ring, and knowing that the pin would ultimately be futile. Regardless, VorteX is up and ready, and readies to pounce of Panther. But Panther is smart, rolling out the way of an intended stomp, before kipping up to his feet. He then manages to duck a clothesline, before taking the champion down with a FLYING BACK KICK, prompting the commentators to go absolutely barmy! But before Panther can make a cover, he's taken down with a SEVERING FANG (spear to the back) from Trent Wheeler!! He makes the cover, and despite the best efforts of Criminal, the referee counts to three!!!
Philip: Here is your winner....and NEW Entertainment champion.....Trent Wheeler!!!
The crowd is ecstatic as we finally see a brand new Entertainment champion, 6 months in the making. Wheeler cannot believe it as he rolls off Panther, looking up to the ceiling of the ACW Arena as “Back Burner” by August Burns Red plays in the background. He looks relieved more than anything to be the final Entertainment champion in 2009, and gets to his feet, grabbing the belt and proudly holding it high, before making his way out.
VorteX meanwhile is understandably angry at losing his title, particularly as he wasn't pinned. But he sighs with frustration, as the cameras fade out.

Segment: The Badger’s Dilemma (Credit: Garland) *** What's with the world?
It keeps circling and creating time which passes slowly for the ones inhabiting it... Time keeps on progressing forward, trying to leave the past behind it as it focuses on the future, as it focuses on creating legends that will once be forgotten.
Old heroes of time don't linger in history unless they were truly one of the greats... Ones that are worth the world remembering... That's pretty much how things work in this ever circling universe... That's pretty much the facts that I plan to take advantage of as I look upon this new reality awaiting me!
This place that could become my new prison or my next sense of salvation... It lies in wait as I look upon it in the basking winds and encasing darkness of a winter's nightfall.
This place that I've been to before but never stayed past the welcome wagon... This place...
The ACW. *** The wind blows loudly as a figure makes its way closer to the camera. It's in the shape of a man with a small burlap sack on his back with a worn down looking beanie on his head and a torn and tattered jacket both which can be seen as he becomes more in focus.
The man stands at 5'11 and looks to be around 200 pounds. One could describe him as sort-of stocky but not many would dare to say things like that to his face as the figure is finally revealed to be an old legend of a time far away... The one who calls himself "True Hardcore," "The Badger," and "R.E.D.".
Robert Garland cracks a slight smile as he looks upon the arena from the outside. Robert Garland - You know, I'm not even sure why I keep coming back to places like this. I've been thrown through panes of glass, set on fire, injured my left knee and right shoulder, participated in psychiatric wars with my inner self... I've had heroes cast down and friends betray and not even one person at my side only for half of the locker room to stand up on my behalf... I've already captured top prize and a good number of championships in-between, yet here I am again ready to take on the world with no promises of a return for my pain, agony and self inflicted punishment. But I find myself hungry for the chances that could lie ahead. A shrill squeaking noise can be heard from the sack held over Garland's shoulder as a furry little creature pokes it head out and nuzzles close to Garland's head as if giving him a slight wake up call from his out of nowhere monologue.
Garland instantly perks up and lifts his head back a bit to acknowledge the creature with a slight smile drawn once again on his face. The creature stops making noise just long enough to create a window for Garland's response to its appearance. Robert Garland - Yeah, I know. You're hungry too aren't you my friend?... Heh, I guess that's one reason to keep fighting isn't it? I sort of have a responsibility to keep warmth and protection over my little buddy but I'm having trouble even doing that. What an owner I am... But yet, you still look at me as your master even if I'm incapable of fulfilling that role. That's right Red, you understand me don't you? Well, its not like you're going to respond is it? Red - ... Robert Garland - Heh... Guess it's time to stop procrastinating and get a move-on. It's time to start a war right?! Red - ... Robert Garland - ... Alright then little buddy, you've pushed me over the edge! Let's get in there and see if we can sign a contract to restore a career to re ignite the fires of my fury and agony and to also feed two hungry monsters till a ravaging smile of bloodlust can once again fill my face while that cheery content reaction returns to you. Garland pats his pet on the head as it returns itself back into the sack, Garland heading off closer to the building in front of him with hopes of a new dawn for both himself and the company he's looking to sign to... *** Another chapter is about to start. Another page in the history and the future is about to be written as I walk through these doors looking to start another fire of glory, destruction and another story to unfold with this evil passage of time.
If nothing else, I will get things to work my way, I will create something brilliant through my time... I will feed my stomach as it continues to hound me with reminders of my stomach and my wallet both being empty... ***

Segment: Pregame Ceremonies (Credit: CP, Senator)
As the tension mounts heading towards the main event of the evening, Chris Phenomenal is seen in the Senatorial locker room, taping his wrists as Senator Steve Phillips walks up.
The Senator: You ready for this? You ready to take your spot in the pantheon of the main event?
CP: Yeah, you know it.
Senator: More than that, I want to know that your focus is beyond question, that you are not just happy to be here in the main event, but that you are fully prepared to defeat two of the toughest competitors in this era of ACW, two men who at their best, would give anyone in any era of the company a tough fight.
CP: I can and I will beat them.
Senator: You can say that, but can you prove it? I know from our match that you have all the tools, but can you put it together when it truly counts? Not against this old broken down man, but against two younger competitors in their prime? Your best might just not be good enough! You have to dig deep down, and pull out more than you thought you were capable of, more than you ever thought was possible! You have to fight like a man, and trancend your humanity if you are to win this match! Nothing can stand in your way, not fatigue, nor opposition, not the rules, nor the fans! You have to be fully committed, do you hear me? Fully committed to the absolute, cardinal goal of victory! That is all that matters on this day, nothing else!
CP: I know that. This is gonna be my finest hour, not just because I want that belt, but because ACW deserves it...
Senator: Indeed, and that, sir, is nothing, but the truth. I shall leave you alone from here until you are ready. Fare thee well.
Fade Out.

A Championship Carol by Dave Shadow Twas a few nights before Christmas, and all through the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Even Dave Shadow was fast asleep, lying in his bed with the covers pulled up to his chin, snuggling up and trying to keep warm during the cold winter’s night. He dreamed good dreams, of success and of victory, of crowds cheering and hoisting him up above their heads. Yes, Dave slept a good sleep....until a noise started to echo through his room.
Dave’s eyes shot open, always fully aware of his surroundings, ready to tackle anyone who might launch surprise attacks on him. His eyes were also perfectly attuned to the darkness, the benefits of eating his vegetables for all those years as a kid. He glanced around, searching every nook and cranny of the room, trying to figure out where the noise was coming from. Like chains, rattling and shaking.
After a few moments, the noises stopped. Dave continued to look round, and after a few moments more of silence, he resigned himself to the fact that he must have been hearing things. However, nothing could have prepared him for what he saw next. A bright light appeared above his head, blinding him and forcing him to cover his eyes. An echo sounded through the room, a scary voice.
? ? ?: DaVe!?! DAAAAAAVE!?!?! LOOK AT ME DAAAAVE! Dave: I can’t. The light! It’s too bright!? ? ?: Oh right, sorry bout that. Hang on.The light grew dimmer, still remaining but now allowing Dave to look at the source of his voice. Much to his surprise, floating over his bed was a transparent image of a ghost! Even more bizarrely, the ghost was the perfect image of him. The camera cut back and forth between Dave and Ghost Dave, getting the image of both and their reactions to coming face to face,...and also, and this is important, failing to show both Dave and Ghost Dave at the same time. Ever. Almost as if they can’t physically both be seen at the same time....
Dave: You’re....you’re.....Ghost Dave: Yes Dave! I am you, as a ghost! Come from the future to relay a very important message to you!Dave: Oh, great, I'm talking to myself again. Wondering. Wait? From the future? But...you don’t look all that much older than me.Ghost Dave: Um....that is because I am from the very close future! OoOoOoOoOoH!Dave: Does that mean I die soon? OH GOD! Am I dying now?Ghost Dave: Well, I guess I might be a more figurative representation of the death of your career, or the possibility of such a situation, that could occur this weekend at Winter’s Discontent.Dave: OOOH! Wait, no. I’m lost.Ghost Dave: Damn it, Dave. I’m here to show you what will happen if you do not win the World Championship and beat Jefferson and Phenomenal! I am here to show you that a lose for Dave Shadow would be the end of the world.Dave: Wow, that’s a tad overdramatic, isn’t it?Ghost Dave: Actually, no. Come with me.The light behind the ghost flares up again, as Dave covers his eyes. He closes them, trying not to be blinded. And as he does, he feels a change in his environment, his warm, cosy bed being substituted for a cold, bitter winter’s breeze. Opening his eyes once more, Dave stands in the middle of a green field, in front of him the ruins of a building.
Dave: This is.....The camera cuts to show the Ghost of Dave standing in the same field, also staring at the ruins.
Ghost Dave: This is the world after Winter’s Discontent if you do not become the champion. Dave: Really? It looks a lot like the ruins of CIW Castle.Ghost Dave: A mere co-incidence and certainly not a cheap rehashing of sets which we do not have to pay for. It is certainly not CIW Island, however, but the ruins of a once great town.Dave: What happened?Ghost Dave: Following your loss, the World fell apart. People needed a hero to gather behind, a role model they could look up to. They could not find this man in Chris or Jack. They needed you. And when you lost, so too did the world lose hope. This was the last straw for them, and when you were beaten, chaos ensued.Dave: All because I didn’t become the champ?Ghost Dave: Do not underestimate how important ACW is to some people. When you failed to become champ, it started a whole string of events which all led towards what you see before you. People rioted on the streets, looting shops and burning down buildings. This, Dave, is why ACW needs you to become the World Champion this weekend. The lights start blaring again, blinding Dave. The cold wind fades, replaced once again with his warm duvet cover. Dave sits up, a look of serious concern on his face.
Dave: So what you’re telling me is that not only do I need to win the title for my own sake, the sake of the very world and everyone on it depends on my success?Ghost Dave: Yeah, pretty much.Dave: Well, that’s not much pressure on me then, is it?Ghost Dave: Now is not the time to be joking Dave. Joking will not win you this championship. Only determination, motivation and a well balanced diet.Dave: Huh?Ghost Dave: You don’t want to get gas or something midway through the match. So eat your vitamins, say your prayers and keep focused. Do not let Jack or Chris beat you, Dave. The World needs you! You! You!.....The ghost, and the light, fade out, leaving Dave alone in his room again. Dave throws the covers off him and swings his legs out, walking round the room.
Dave: Now I know what I must do. I must become champion. I must defeat Jack and Chris and take the title away from them. Because, quite frankly, the world needs me to. The world needs ME as the champion, and I shan’t let them down. I will safe you, people of Earth. Save you from mediocrity. Save you from egotistic tendencies. I will save you from the clutches of people like Jefferson and Phenomenal. I will save you Earth. And when I do….you will thank me!As the scene fades, Dave stares off into the distant corner of the room, a look of honor and confidence on his face. His is the face of a champion in the making, and he now knows just how important Winter’s Discontent is for everyone. And he won’t let them down.

Segment: A Phenomenal Run in by TJ and CP *We are backstage as we see Chris Phenomenal on his way to the ring. He rounds the corner and walks straight into TJ. TJ isn’t in his gear and seems to be heading out of the arena, heading home. He readjusts the bag on his shoulder.*
The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Chris.
Chris Phenomenal: TJ
The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Man it’s been awhile.
Chris Phenomenal: Not long enough.
The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Oh what? You don’t like seeing an old friend?
Chris Phenomenal: We are NOT friends.
The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Why not? I mean after all we’ve been through? Really man?
Chris Phenomenal: Look I have a World Title to win, something you’ve never been able to accomplish. I guess it is true that anybody from Philadelphia is born a choke artist.
The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ As much as I want Dave to win because of what he has done for me, I hope you win, this way not only will I take the lead in our personal records, I will also take the belt off of you.
Chris Phenomenal: Is that so?
The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ Yea it is. You forget what I can do that no one else here can Chris.
Chris Phenomenal: TJ, I’d love to see you try. No excuse me.
The.Soul.Of.Philly TJ That kid has no idea what’s in store for him
*TJ turns the corner and leaves while CP disappears around another corner.*

Segment: Enter Jujigatame! (Credit: ??)
Outside the Arena, a solitary figure dressed in referee fatigues, and sporting asian features is walking along, staring out into space, as interview man Kevin "The Internet" Anderson runs up.
Kevin Anderson: Hey, Keiji, can I have a word with you?
Keiji Makabe: Yeah, after getting booted out of the Arena, I have nothing else to do...
Anderson: Great! So, Keiji, do you think you have a future with the company now? After all, everyone knows you're in Senator's back pocket, and you're inelgible for main event referee jobs!
Makabe: Aww, go away if that's all you...
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a man explodes into the scene, wearing a black martial arts Gi, and before anyone can react, he tackles Makabe to the ground, grabbing an arm, and falling back into a cross armbar! The mysterious Gi-clad man cranks back on the armbar for a few seconds as Makabe screams in pain, and Anderson screams in horror. The erstwhile interviewer drops his microphone and runs away like a little girl, while the camera zooms in on the mystery man, who has now scooped up the "Scoop's" mike.
??: My name is Thiago Gracie, and all will fear my armbar! Nobody is safe, not anyone, not anywhere! I am here to prove the greatness of jiu-jitsu, of Brazil, of the Gracie family, and of the armbar!
Gracie drops the microphone, affixing the camera with one last deadly stare, before turning away, and leaving the cameraman with a shot of Keiji Makabe, still rolling around on the ground.
Fade Out

Segment: Muted Arrival (Credit: ??)
The segment fades in, although this is somewhat unclear as despite this, we are only greeted to a dark surroundings. There is very little light peering into the area, just an uncomfortable outline of a figure, crouching with his knees pointing upwards to the ceiling, and with his head lowered, in a confused, yet sadistic manner. The human begins to talk, speaking in what would seem to be a accent reminiscent of a former time, but just one that even those with sonic hearing would be unable to decipher.
??: For a long, long time, I have endured under the shadow of another sibling. For years, I was always the one that was overlooked. The one that would really have to struggle for support and fight an ongoing battle just to get by, whilst my older brother would reap in the benefits. Reap in the goods.
The brooding figure lets out a snarling cackle, and those younger members of the audience would cower behind their hands, yet amidst their curiosity open their fingers slightly, as they would continue to watch their television screens.
??: Am I an envious person? Well, one might assume so. But I just want a fair break. Ever since i first stepped foot in a wrestling ring, I knew it would be all him, and not me. And that is NOT fair!! All I want is a fair chance to show my worth! And I finally have this chance. I finally have an opportunity to show my worth. And believe me, I am not going to let this go by lightly.
The person begins to stand up, and stands with his arms by his side.
??: But I am not a dark, demonic creature, like this monologue may suggest. I just want a fair break in life. I just don't want to see my brother taking all the chances he can get, while his family have to fight for every pound and every dollar. And with my brother no longer around, ACW are finally going to see the real me. The me that is going to show what he can truly do.
The lights switch on, and we see Sgt. Pilko standing, his Royal Army beret on his head, and a rifle in position. He gives a formal salute, keeping his eyes straight ahead as best he can, in a truly professional manner.
Sgt. Pilko: Sgt. Pilko, reporting for duty.
Fade out....

Match 3: ACW World Title Match Jack Jefferson(c) vs. Dave Shadow vs. Chris Phenomenal (Credit: Chris P) With the ACW year nearly coming to an end, it is only fitting that the three breakout stars end it, fighting for the biggest prize in the industry. As we fade into the arena for the final time, only one thing is certain, fireworks are about to go off between the three men who have gotten into each other’s way every step of the year. For Dave Shadow, it’s about finishing off his legacy, for finally achieving the goal he set for himself upon entering the company. For Jack Jefferson, it’s about finally getting the big victory over the two men he’s been unable to stop all year long. Finally, for Chris Phenomenal, it’s a chance to once again steal the championship from an unsuspecting victim and deliver the final dagger in the heart of Dave Shadow. The Entertainment Championship, The International Championship and now The Heavyweight Championship, the trifecta all coming with pin falls over Dave Shadow! Finally reaching the ring we’re greeted by Phillip Jones for one…last…time. Phillip Jones: Ladies and gentleman, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a triple threat match for the ACW World Heavyweight Championship. The weak or the strong, who got it goin’ on? Ya Dead Wrong The weak or the strong, who got it goin’ on? Ya Dead Wrong Jones: Introducing the first challenger. Tonight he comes to the ring weighing in at two hundred and seventy one pounds, hailing from Harlem, New York. He is a former ACW Entertainment and ACW International Champion. The crowd begins to jeer rising up to their feet as the harsh melody of the Notorious B.I.G kicks in. CHRIS PHENOMENAL!“Dead Wrong" begins to play as Chris Phenomenal emerges from the back, in a long boxing style robe with Senator coming out behind him, his signature cane aiding his gate, and standing at his side as he stops at the top of the entrance ramp. Head down covered by the hood, Chris makes the sign of the cross and then kisses his chain, holding it to his lips for a second all while swaying back and forth to the beat of the music. Chris then drops the chain from his hands, throwing his arms outwards as the pyro’s on either side of the entrance ramp explode as he makes his way down to the ring, fully focused as Senator whispers a few last minute words of advice in his ear. Reaching the bottom. Chris climbs into the ring between the second and third ropes and immediately goes into his corner and throws a few punches at the turnbuckle, no gesturing or taunting, focused purely on the ring and nothing else. Finally he drops the hood as Senator ducks in to the ring from his corner, patting Chris on the shoulder as the jeering is replaced by cheers as the next set of music kicks in. Here comes the drums, here comes the drums. Phillip Jones: Introducing the second challenger. Hailing from Drogheda, Ireland. He weighed in at two hundred pounds. He is a former ACW Entertainment Champion, ACW International Champion and is the reigning Emperor of the Ring Baby, Baby, Baby. You are my Voodoo Child, My Voodoo Child DAVE SHADOW!As the opening to Voodoo Child builds, several blinding lights illuminate at the top of the entrance ramp. A shadow emerges, the silouette dancing along with the music. As the shadow walks out of the light, we see it's Dave Shadow, with a perverted smile plastered across his face. He makes his way down the ramp and hops up onto the apron, climbing to the second rope at one of the corners and posing for all his fans. The camera spins round him, as he hops down and awaits his opponents. McNally: Listen to this crowd Eddie!
Edison: There’s in no doubting that Dave Shadow is the fan favorite in this. He’s worked his tail off to get this far, was nearly killed by Chris Phenomenal and now he’s within one match of achieving his goals. The opening chords of Paint it Black replace the ending of Voodoo Child as the crowd shifts again, from cheers to jeers Phillip Jones: And introducing the champion.I see a red door and I want it painted black No colors anymore I want them to turn black Phillip Jones: Hailing from Manchester, England. Weighing in at two hundred and nineteen pounds.Paint It Black” by The Rolling Stones hits the speakers and Jack Jefferson emerges through the curtain, the wall of boos from the fans strengthening. JACK JEFFERSON!The jeers don’t seem to faze Jefferson as a big smirk grows on his face whilst he looks out across the sea of fans in attendance. He then takes his time as he cockily struts to the ring, apparently oblivious to the booing he is receiving. As Jack reaches the ring he quickens his pace so that he is able to slide straight in. He climbs onto the turnbuckle to his right, placing his right foot on the top rope whilst leaving his left on the middle rope and smirks at the audience below. He slaps his hands on his pectoral muscles and holds his arms out wide, forming a ‘gun’ with his index fingers and thumbs. He then hops down, dropping his jacket over the ropes and stretches, awaiting the call for the bell from tonight’s referee Raymond Allen Fleming! Edison: Here we go, the final match of 2009 for Alpha Championship Wrestling.
McNally: We’ve seen Jay Zero, Jake Steele, Senator Steve Phillips, Dan White and Jack Jefferson as champions up and too this point in the year, will Dave Shadow or Chris Phenomenal join the ranks here?
Edison: I honestly don’t know, this match is far too close too call, all three men would be worthy champions. It’s an honest to God crapshoot. As Senator takes his position at ringside, RAF looks at all three competitors, Chris bouncing back and forth, Jack Jefferson staring down both and Dave Shadow’s uppper lip curling slightly as Jack Jefferson standing in the middle of the three spins on his heels and calls for the bell, backing away as the roof near blows off the place with an opening roar.

The three men begin to circle each other before both Jack Jefferson and Chris Phenomenal spin on their heels and slide out of the ring both men looking to let the other tire themselves out with Dave Shadow and pick up the scraps. Realizing what has happened though the two men decide to start the match off against each other by throwing down, Jefferson looking for the first right but Chris weaving below it out to his left and popping Jefferson with a jab and another, the hand speed of Chris Phenomenal impressive, the training with Senator paying off as Chris spins back around as Jack Jefferson keeps his hands up waiting until both men are taken down to the canvas by Dave Shadow, not willing to stand idle in this match going flying through the middle rope and taking both men out with a suicide dive right off the hop.
Dave is the first up with Chris a near second so Shadow grabs him by the long shorts and throws him into the ring underneath the bottom rope and tries to follow him in but Jefferson puts an end to that, grabbing hold of Shadow and throwing him off of the ring apron and into the barricade and following Chris Phenomenal in. Chris is up though and stomps Jefferson before he can get to his feet, eventually knocking him back outside into a charging Shadow who knocks him out with a clothesline, the champion not getting off to a good start in the match. As Shadow pauses for a moment Chris backs away before sliding under the bottom rope and connecting with Dave’s sternum with a baseball slide, knocking him back and stumbling over Jack Jefferson to the protective matting as Chris Phenomenal looks down at the both of them trying to get up.
McNally Not necessarily the start the champion was looking for here. He’s sent a message to both Dave Shadow and Chris Phenomenal, knocking them out with the tile and Chloe respectively.
Edison: Definitely. There’s no way Jefferson wanted to come out here and have both Shadow and Phenomenal get the better of him off the bat.
Shadow and Jefferson are both up to their feet and Chris looks to take them both down with a clothesline but they both duck it and as Chris turns around there is some semblance of team work between the two as they both connect with a toe kick. Shadow looks to suplex Chris but Jefferson get’s in the way, knocking Shadow off and looking to take Chris down with a DDT but Shadow comes back, not taking lightly to the interjection and pulls Chris out of the front facelock and gets in the face of Jefferson. The two jaw for a second and this time Chris doesn’t miss with the double clothesline, taking both men down to the canvas with a clothesline.
Senator orders Chris to pick up Jefferson which he does, pulling him up and dropping him across the ring apron chest first before picking up Shadow and using him as battering ram slamming his skull into Jefferson’s before sliding into the ring and looking down at both men trying to shake the cob webs from their skulls. Chris beckons them to come in, giving them free passage and they take it but once they get in the ring he ducks out, the cat and mouse game continuing. Shadow and Jefferson look at Chris and Shadow takes the first step in going after them and this gives Jefferson the opportunity he needs as he clubs Shadow in the back of the head with a forearm shot, causing Shadow to spin around and Jefferson to fling him with an arm drag sending Shadow to the mat. Jefferson quickly springs to his feet and once Shadow gets up he hits him with a dropkick sending him spilling between the second and third ropes to the floor below. Chris Phenomenal wastes little time in coming in, reading the action and as Jefferson gets back up Chris whips him into the ropes and on the clothesline looks for a clothesline but Jefferson ducks it and holds on to the ropes as Chris looks for his high elevation dropkick on the rebound. Landing splat on the mat Chris is left wide open for Jefferson who grabs hold of Chris legs and tries to turn him over for his high angled Boston Crab. He can’t get him over though as Shadow slides back into the ring and takes the back of Jefferson and slams him into Chris Phenomenal with a Russian leg sweep, his face splatting right into the floor. RAF slides into position with Jefferson pinning Chris but Shadow doesn’t allow that count as he rolls Jefferson off of Chris and pins him. RAF can’t make that count however as Chris knocks Shadow off of Jefferson.
McNally: Nice little exchange their, everyone getting a few licks in.
Edison: It’s always tough to get some good offence going in these triple threat matches however. You can’t just be focused on the opponent in front of you but also the one behind you.
Shadow and Chris are up too their feet, Jefferson near their as Shadow and Chris lock up, eventually Shadow ducking around with the go behind right into the grips of Jefferson who goes for a release German but Shadow flips in mid air and lands on his feet as Jefferson is quickly pulled to his feet by Chris Phenomenal who pops him with a quick European uppercut that knocks Jefferson back into Shadow who delivers a European uppercut of his own sending him back into Phenomenal who spins him on his heels and fires him into the ropes and looks for a big back body drop but that doesn’t work as Dave Shadow looks to quickly rolls Phenomenal up but doesn’t hold the count as Jefferson’s strategy of holding onto the ropes doesn’t work this time as Shadow gets to his feet and as Jefferson comes off the ropes Shadow is able to plant him with a front falling suplex, spinning around one hundred and eighty degrees and planting Jefferson onto Phenomenal again.
McNally: That appears to be Shadows strategy at least early on in this match, hurt both of his opponents with one attack.
Edison: It’s a great strategy, especially with the aggressive bullish natures of his opponents. Getting twice the result for his effort.
RAF goes to again count the fall but Shadow doesn’t let that happen, picking Jefferson up and throwing him into the corner with an Irish whip before coming in and connecting with his charging high knee, staying in the corner for a second posing for his fans before grabbing Jeffersons head and as he comes down planting him with a bull dog. Dave spins Jefferson onto his back and holds him down with a lateral press.

Chris Phenomenal comes rampaging in and stomps Shadow in the back of the neck breaking the fall. That out of the way Chris picks up Shadow and throws him into the corner as Shadow takes the back bump and Chris comes charging in looking for a clothesline but Shadow dips out of the corner, rolling to the outside as Chris takes the turnbuckle in his chest stumbling back as Shadow climbs back up onto the ring apron and leaps onto the rope looking to springboard for the hurricanrana but Chris ducks out of the way at the last second as Shadow is forced to land on his feet right in front of Jefferson who’s using the ropes to get to his feet, as he turns around, Shadow instinctively ducks as Chris Phenomenal come barreling through looking to take him down with a clothesline. Jefferson instinctively ducks out as well, pulling the rope down with him as Chris goes tumbling over the top and falling to the floor below at the feet of Senator who looks down at his fallen pupil and back up at the ring at a smiling Jefferson. Senator doesn’t retaliate however, instead smirking as Shadow goes charging in looking for a clothesline of his own but again Jefferson pulls the ropes down ducking out of the way as Shadow goes tumbling over the top rope as well landing on Chris Phenomenal’s back as he tries to push himself up.
McNally: Jack Jefferson get’s both men with the same move, the second time without even looking at Shadow coming in.
Edison: That’s ring instinct Maxxie, something you can’t teach to someone, it’s just naturally there, you’re born with it. He could sense Shadow was coming and pulled a counter out of the book.
Jefferson looks down at both men struggling to get to their feet and backs away as they look at each other and Chris shoves Shadow in the chest and Shadow reciprocates with one of his own and that’s enough to set Chris Phenomenal off as he throws a right hand at Shadow’s head that connects and Shadow decides to oblige Chris and the two begin to throw down, the flurry of fists nearly indistinguishable as Jefferson looks on with a sick sense of pleasure, content to let the two beat themselves silly.
Chris eventually takes the advantage from Shadow, a haymaker backing him off and allowing him to connect with a quick left jab, an overhand right and spinning through with a discus right that floors Shadow on the outside, the tide slowly shifting as Chris turns and looks at Jefferson and tells him to come down and fight while Jefferson just smirks before pulling apart the second and third ropes, ushering Chris into the ring like some common bitch as the crowd picks back up, roaring as the two begin to jaw at each other. Chris nearly jumps up but Senator comes over and holds Chris back, saving him from Jefferson who looks down and shakes his head at Chris.
McNally: Smart move by Senator that holding Chris back from Jefferson and preventing him from blindly walking into the Lion’s Den.
Edison: That’s the one major dis-advantage Chris Phenomenal has in this match is his anger issues. Both men have gotten the best of him at one point or another and Chris isn’t going to just forget about that, at some point in this match he’s going to seek some form of retribution.
Senator whispers into Chris’ ear as RAF waltzes over and tells Senator to back off and let the three men settle the score themselves. Shadow getting to his feet looks at Chris who just slowly walks away, following Senator’s lead as they head up the entrance ramp.
McNally: What the hell is going on here?
Edison: I really don’t know but it appears as if Chris Phenomenal is walking out of a championship match?
McNally: I know we’ve seen this from champions before to save their titles, willing to take a loss in battle to win the war, but a challenger?
Edison: I’m as perplexed as you Maxxie.
McNally and Edison aren’t the only ones as both Shadow and Jefferson look on stunned for a moment. Shadow stares on for a second longer however as it costs him as Jefferson ducks out of the ring as Chris ducks behind the curtain following Senator’s lead as the crowd is in shock. Shadow turns around and all he sees is the big right hand of Jefferson which connects square on his nose, sending Shadow stumbling back and Jefferson takes the advantage whipping Shadow into the ring apron, his kidneys getting crushed between it and his body, the collision forcing the air out of his lungs. . Jefferson quickly goes right at Shadow and drives his shoulder into the gut, expelling any left over air in Shadow’s chest cavity. Pushing Shadow into the ring, Jefferson crawls in after him and hooks the leg.
…1 …2
Shadow kicks out relatively easily but that doesn’t stop the crowd from letting forth a small sigh of relief as Jefferson rolls off of Shadow and pulls him up to his feet, or tries to as Shadow on one knee delivers a punch to the sternum and then quickly pulls Jefferson into a La Magistral Cradle.
…1 …2
The quick counter fall isn’t enough for Shadow as Jefferson pulls his arm out and flicks his shoulder up, this time the sigh is not one of relief but despair, the crowd thinking Shadow had pulled a fast one on Jefferson. The two get up to their feet and circle each other before coming together in a collar and elbow tie up trying to bull each other around. Not working, Jefferson decides to pull out another one of his tricks, stomping on the foot of Shadow who pulls it out for a moment, wincing at the sudden burst of pain. Thrown off balance this allows Jefferson to throw his arm out and take down Shadow with a deep arm drag and after the flurry of fast pace action, Jefferson slows down the match with a simple chicken wing, pulling the arm of Shadow thru his own and exerting the pressure right onto the AC joint and shoulder capsule of Shadow.
McNally: Couple of quick fall attempts their from both men coming off the shocking disappearance of Chris Phenomenal.
Edison: I’m still stunned at that. Chris has worked so hard, gone through so many obstacles, invoking Senator’s rematch clause to backdoor his way into the match to just walk out like this? It’s mind boggling.

In the ring Shadow clutches his shoulder whilst slipping his feet out from under him making him able to push himself up and fire a reverse elbow to the head of Jefferson which knocks him back but doesn’t break the hold. The second one loosens it enough however to allow Shadow to try and pull the arm out and force Jefferson to readjust, spinning Shadow into his body and looking for a northern lights suplex but Shadow blocks it stepping through the legs of Jefferson with one foot before hooking it around his calf, Jefferson lifts up a second time, again to no avail and as he tries to free himself from the block, Shadow takes the advantage with a spinning neck breaker out of nowhere, snapping Jefferson down to the mat. Shadow then puts him in a chinlock of his own, keeping the pace at a minimum as Jefferson claws at his hands.
McNally: Little bit of a pause here after we’ve seen nothing but fast paced action from the get go.
Edison: I think both of these men realize they still have a lot left in the tank but would prefer not to expend it at the moment. If they can take the wind out of their opponents sails while picking up a strong wind from the back for themselves they’ll take it.
Trying to pry the grip of Shadow didn’t work for Jefferson so he tries the same escape as Dave used earlier, using his opponents body for leverage as he tries to work himself up to his feet. About halfway up however Dave simply walks away from Jefferson, letting go of the chinlock but also leaving Jefferson in no man’s land as gravity takes hold and forces him back down to the canvas, the crowd popping with pleasure at the result. An embarrassed Jefferson is quick to his feet and stares down Shadow who let’s loose with a small smile and a shrug of the shoulders, infuriating Jefferson who blindly charges in and for his efforts is taken down by Shadow with a drop toe hold and spins onto his back and again slaps on the chinlock but only for five seconds as Jefferson pushes off the mat and reaches out for the ropes, latching on as RAF jumps into action as Dave comes off with the rope break.
Jefferson is slower to his feet and is this time more calculated in his approach as he comes at Shadow and the two remaining men in this match stare down each other before throwing their hands up in the air simultaneously, latching on to each other and then bringing the second one up and engaging in a good old fashioned test of strength. Dave gains the early advantage forcing Jeffersons arm back into his body before spinning his arms into a downward wristlock, Jefferson grimacing in pain as he tries to stamp on the toe of Shadow who steps out of the way and as Jefferson tries to step on the other Dave bounces back as well, yanking on the arms of Jefferson who closes his eyes for a brief moment. The two continue around the ring, almost as if they’re waltzing, the crowd enjoying Dave one upping Jefferson, before eventually he is close enough to the ropes to duck between the two and force another break from RAF.
McNally: Dave Shadow is definitely not the strongest man here in ACW but I think he is the quickest on his feet bar none.
Edison: I don’t think many people would argue with your there. He doesn’t necessarily fit the high flying role we usually associate with the smaller wrestlers, especially those with the agility of Shadow, but what he does suits him just fine.
The two look at each other as Jefferson shakes his hands trying to get some blood flowing back into his wrists as Shadow raises his arms in the air in mock victory, drawing Jefferson out of the corner and going right after him. Shadow tries to weave out of the way but eventually is backed into a corner and Jefferson blocks him with an elbow and then a kick to the sternum before whipping him across the ring and following him in with a clothesline and backing away as Shadow looks stunned for a moment. Jeffferson grabs hold of Shadow as he comes out of the corner and puts him into a front facelock before snapping him down to the mat with a DDT and rolling Shadow onto his back and covering him with a hook of the leg.
…1 …2
Shadow kicks out at two as the crowd cheers on Shadow and Jefferson wipes a stray piece of hair out of his eyes getting to his knees and pulling Shadow up and throwing him into the ring ropes and on the rebound knocking him down with a shoulder block and covering him again.
…1 …2
Another kickout and again Jefferson gets up and throws Shadow into the ropes and on the rebound this time slams Dave Shadow down with a flowing Samoan Drop, a thing of beauty as Jefferson ducks down hooking Shadow up into a firemans carry on the rebound before falling back and crushing the ribs of Dave Shadow. Thinking he’s got it this time, Jefferson simply reaches back and hooks the legs of Shadow trying to throw them over his head and keep as much weight over his shoulders.

... Shadow kicks out again, this time the fall nearly there, RAF at about two and a half before the shoulder comes up. Jefferson looks back at his foe and sees the resolve, the fire burning in his eyes. Letting go of the legs Jefferson gets to his feet and decides to extinguish the fire, putting the boots to Shadow, one after the other in rapid succession as he first tries to get up and then with that not going anywhere, fights his way to the ropes, eventually getting their but that does nothing to halt the onslaught of Jefferson. …1 …2 …3 …4 It is only the impending five count of RAF that can slow Jefferson down as he backs away from Shadow who winces in pain, his shoulder having been worked over by Jefferson throughout the entire match causing him problems as he pulls himself up using the ropes. Coming away from them he looks at Jefferson who wastes no time in shooting in and grabbing hold of Shadow with a double leg and is able to plant him on the ground in a dominant position, Shadow taking the fall hard on the left shoulder. McNally: Nice bit of freestyle wrestling there from Jack Jefferson, going right after the base of Shadow to take him down.
Edison: And you’ll notice too that he didn’t go and just slam him right onto his back, instead getting a little bit of angle and dropping Shadow right onto that shoulder he’s been working over the entire match.Jefferson goes to work with some elbows and open hand chops, not using any illegal blow to give RAF an opportunity to force him off. Eventually Shadow rolls over to try and protect his head but that gives Jefferson the opportunity he wants as he forces his way up higher onto Dave’s back before slipping off, giving Dave a brief moment of reprieve and an out, which he tries to take, and falls right into the plan of Jefferson who grabs hold of the arm of Dave and throws it over his own head and then hooking his arms around the face of Dave in the cross face before pulling up, the pressure going immediately to the Lattisimus Dorsi and Trapezius Muscles, as Jefferson’s Border City Stretch is sunk in deeply as Shadow buries his face in his chest, trying to be stoic in the face of pain. McNally: This does not look good for Dave Shadow at all.
Edison: This is one of the more devastating holds in ACW today. The pain throughout the entire upper back and with the way Jefferson hooks that arm behind him the shoulder as well is excruciating. It’s pure torture in that hold. Dave looks up and sees the ropes about four feet from him and using his war arm begins to try and crawl his way over, sliding like a commando in a battle field, six inches at a time as Jefferson pulls back on the hold and tries to raise Dave up to as large of an angle as possible to prevent him from escaping. Dave manages to get his arm within one foot of the ropes as Jefferson pulls back as far as the human anatomy will allow, his face contorted with the effort as Dave Shadow reaches out for the ropes but is less than six inches away and Jefferson manages to pull him back slightly as Shadow looks up and sees the ropes getting farther away. Stunned, his head drops as he tries to endure as much pain as he can but it’s starting to become overwhelming, his shoulder ready to burst, his upper back screaming uncle. Dave looks at the ropes and tries to push but Jefferson puts a hold to that. Resigned with the face Dave raises his hand looking like he’s about to tap as Jefferson looks down at him at the same time Dave turns and their eyes connect. In that brief moment Dave drops his hand to his side but not to tap. In Jefferson’s eyes he sees everything that it has cost him to get here. Starting with being bludgeoned by Chris Phenomenal and spending three weeks in a coma. Awaking for nary a week before his brother suffers a similar fate. Yet he persevered against it all, defending his title against Jack Jefferson and Jason Freeman then watching Alicia be abducted because of him right before Emperor of the Ring. The pain in his heart as he looked down at Ricardo and Helena nothing compared to what he is experiencing now. From there he managed to beat Jack Jefferson at Emperor of the Ring to earn this shot but somehow Jefferson managed to finagle his way into the title before him. Coming out of the trance for a moment Dave uses the momentum, the energy of everything he’s gone up against to make it this far to propel him the one foot remaining as he clutches onto the ropes, the roof of the ACW Arena nearly blowing off as the twenty thousand plus in attendance roar, RAF trying to pry Jefferson off as he looks down stunned at Dave Shadow and his hand on the ropes. Once RAF gets him off Jefferson doesn’t relent, throwing the hand of Shadow off the ropes and pulling it back over in a modified chicken wing, using the ropes as the post as he pulls back with all his might, the feet of Shadow slamming into the mat in pain as RAF counts him off. …1 …2 …3 …4 Jefferson relents and lets go of Shadow but doesn’t back off in the least waiting for him to rise up right into his waiting clutches as the crowd roars causing him to turn around. WHAM!

Standing in the ring is Chris Phenomenal, Jack Jefferson having been knocked clear out of the ring by a massive Superman Punch from Phenomenal who looks down at him and Shadow at his feet.
McNally: I thought he’d quit this match? He walked out just minutes ago with Senator and now he’s back?
Edison: Senator has done it again. He knew that as long as these three were around that no one would be able to take a break and let the other two beat on each other, they’re all two bright for that. He outsmarted both Shadow and Jefferson though, making them believe Chris Phenomenal had given up and now look at him, these two have been going at each other for the last ten minutes while he’s been resting.
McNally: Shouldn’t he have been counted out already? Disqualified?
Edison: That’s what makes it work there. There’s an implied no count-out rule in all triple threats because who are you going to call the winner of the match? With disqualifcation it’s a bit different, someone had to be on the receiving end of the blow or negatively effected but here, RAF has literally nothing he can do.
As Shadow turns over and looks up into the face of Chris Phenomenal his face goes from pale to ghost white as Chris smiles and mockingly waves his hand before putting the boots to Dave Shadow eventually knocking him out of the ring too right onto Jefferson as Senator limps over the barricade finally, Chris having sprinted at full speed down into the ring. Chris raises his hands in the air as Dave Shadow appears to be finished, the Border City Stretch having taken nearly everything out of him and the Superman Punch having knocked Jack Jefferson out of commission. Done with his posturing Chris ducks out of the ring and grabs hold of Shadow trying to get up to his feet and whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps, dislodging them as Shadow goes spilling over to the other side of the ring, before going after Jack Jefferson blinking rapidly, trying to get his wits about him after the Superman Punch. Chris picks him up and throws him into the ring and slides in after him as Jefferson tries to get away. Seeing this Chris avoids going for the pin instead getting up and stalking Jack Jefferson as he crawls to the middle of the ring and then towards the side, having taken the longest route possible to his destination. Eventually he pulls himself up, Senator slamming the canvas telling Chris to get him. As Jeffferson turns around Chris springs into action leveling him with his Filibuster, not as refined as Senator’s but possibly more deadly with the added strength and drop attached to it. Jefferson is done as Chris Phenomenal rolls him over and hooks the leg.
…1
McNally: We have a new champion here.
…2
Edison: Chris Phenomenal played it perfectly with a little help from Senator. He let Jefferson and Shadow beat each other up and came in and picked up the scraps and the title belt.

The hand of RAF strikes the mat for the third time but there is no toll of the ring bell and no signal as to why from RAF. In the meanwhile Chris falls over onto his back, his hands over his chest in ecstasy at finely having won the title. The crowd on one side of the arena is shocked, confused at what is going on until the folks on the side of the arena nearest the fall roar, the Alphatron showing Dave Shadow in a last act of desperation pulling the far leg of Jefferson on top of the ropes, preventing the fall.
McNally: Dave Shadow just prevented Chris Phenomenal from winning the title there, he stole in from him.
Edison: What a smart move by Dave though. He knew he couldn’t dislodge Chris Phenomenal from on top of Jefferson, knew Jefferson’s hands and near leg was bound so he did the only thing possible and that was forcefully move the other leg on top of the bottom rope.
Wondering what the hell is going on Chris sits up and seeing the foot of Jefferson on the ropes and Dave Shadow sprawled over the canvas puts two and two together and immediately springs into action with both men on the ropes. Chris pulls Dave Shadow into the ring over top of Jefferson’s body and whips him across the ring and on the rebound takes him down with a running elbow smash to the face, dropping Dave like a sack of hammers. Chris changes direction and hit’s the ropes running before coming back and connecting with a senton splash on Dave Shadow and stays down on it for the pin fall.
…1 …2 …
Shadow with another kick out as Chris looks back at him without the least bit of surprise. Getting to his feet he uses Shadows white locks to pull him to his feet and whips him into the corner. Dave takes the back bump and sticks as Chris comes in and lines himself up before burying his shoulder into the abdomen of Dave with a massive shoulder thrust. Slowly Chris pulls out until he’s almost allowed Dave’s chest cavity to resume it’s normal size before going right back through it, a faint “oof” coming from Dave’s mouth. Chris backs out again, turning his head back to Jefferson just trying to shake himself back awake after the two massive blows from Chris Phenomenal, who in turn goes right back into Dave Shadow for the third time, Dave immediately going to clutch his ribs and as Chris backs away Dave drops down to one knee and can be seen heavily breathing, his chest rising quickly and falling just as fast.
McNally: Chris Phenomenal has come back in to take full control of this match.
Edison: High impact, instant offence. It’s tough to beat at full strength but after having already been pummeled by an opponent while he just sits and watches.
Chris turns his attentions towards Jefferson who is trying to get up using the ropes, and Dave Shadow still down on one knee. Having to make a quick decision, Chris decides to go after Dave, pulling him up and sending him into the ring ropes all the way across the ring and looking for a back body drop but he telegraphs it and Dave counters with a big kick to the front of his face, knocking Chris back a step and turning him around right into Jack Jefferson who musters up his strength and lifts Chris up from the side looking for a Uranage before shifting him back and slamming him down onto one knee with a massive Uranage backbreaker, Chris immediately clutching his back but Jefferson isn’t able to keep his offensive assault going for long as Dave Shadow hits him with a forearm smash as he tries to get to his feet. This doesn’t deter Jefferson for long but Shadow grabs him with both hands and uses his head for a weapon, slamming the front of it into the front of Jefferson’s. The concussive impact causes both men to stumble around slightly to get their wits about them before Shadow hit’s the ropes first and coming back clocks Jefferson with a running enziguri that sends him toppling over. Dave is quick for the cover.
…1 …2
Jefferson kicks out, throwing the shoulder up as the crowd sigh again, the faint glimmer of hope dissipating. As Jefferson starts to get back to his feet, leaving Chris on the ground, Dave charges at him from behind, clobbering him over the back of the head with a strong forearm. Jack goes down, but being the fighter he is, immediately tries to get back to his feet. This just gives Dave the chance to grab him by the hair, run him forward and throw him out through the ropes. Jack crashes to the ground outside, smacking his head in the process, and leaves Dave and Chris alone in the ring.
Dave walks over to Chris who is also trying to get to his feet, and grabs him by the head. Dave looks out into the crowd, a little smile developing on his face.
McNally: Dave has waited a long time to have Chris in a position like this. And with Jack out of the ring, Dave has free run on what happens to Phenomenal now.
Dave helps Chris back to his feet, and makes sure that Chris knows what is about to happen. He looks Chris in the eyes. Chris is in pain, but as he realises whats coming, his eyes open wide. Just in time, as well, to see Dave pull back and drive a hard right fist straight into the face. Chris goes down hard, and tries to get back up. Dave has another punch ready though and smacks him again in the head. This happens again, before Chris decides to roll over to the ropes, seeking protection. Dave follows him over though and picks him up again, pushing Chris back into the ropes. He whips Chris across the ring, and goes for a clothesline on the return.
Chris ducks it, thinking he’s missed the worst of the damage, but as he turns back to face Dave, he finds Dave dropping and connecting with a dropkick to his knee. Chris feels like his leg is exploding and as it disappears out from underneath him, Chris falls to the canvas, face first. He tries to push up from the canvas, but in the process, moves his head right into position for another dropkick, this time to the face. Chris rolls over onto his back, staring up at the lights.
Dave jumps back to his feet, and the massive smile on his face makes it quite obvious he’s loving being able to beat the crap out of his arch-nemesis. Outside the ring, he spots that Jack is getting back to his feet, so Dave drops out under the bottom rope and grabs him by the head. He runs Jack forward and throws him into the audience barricade, Jack hitting it with such force that the noise of impact echoes round the arena. The entire crowd cringe, but Dave has managed to buy himself a bit more time with Chris.
Dave slides back into the ring, just as Chris is getting back to his feet. Dave moves in behind him, and takes his time sizing him up. Just as Chris is back to a vertical base, Dave lunges at him, wraps his arms round his head and brings him crashing back down with a picture perfect bulldog, Chris’ face once again eating the canvas. Chris rolls over onto his back, clutching his nose. Dave walks over to the ropes and climbs out onto the apron, taking his time telling the crowd to stand and cheer. He grabs the top rope, pulls back and launches himself over and back into the ring. He rolls in midair, and connects with a rolling senton onto Chris Phenomenal, driving his full body weight into the abdomen of his opponent.
Dave rolls off, and Chris tries to roll out of the way, but Dave gives chase. Dave puts him on his back and goes for the cover attempt.

…
No! Chris managed to roll close enough to the ropes that a recovering Jack was able to slip in and drop an elbow over the back of Dave. Jack gets up slightly and drops another one across the back of the head of Dave, as Chris rolls out onto the apron to try and recover.
McNally: Another close call their for Dave Shadow.
Edison: Dave Shadow seems to have stolen the momentum from Chris Phenomenal here.
Jefferson pulls Shadow up and throws him into the ropes and on the rebound he takes him up and sends him crashing to the mat with a back body drop. Shadow arches his back in pain for a moment but Jefferson goes right after him picking him up and throwing him back into the ropes and on the rebound leaps into the air, sticking the leg out and connecting with the throat of Dave Shadow with a leg lariat. Jefferson hooks the legs as RAF slides into position to count the fall.
…1 …2
NO! Dave kicks out at two as Jeffferson looks down in a little bit of surprise and gets to his feet as Dave rolls off and Jefferson eats a forearm smash from Chris Phenomenal, not willing to rest a minute, especially with his opponents back turned to him. Jefferson turns around and Chris latches him in a side headlock and starts to wrench the neck, trying to suck all the wind out of Jefferson. Jefferson tries to back out but Chris snaps that shut and also blocks Jeffersons attempt to push him off. In a last ditch effort Jefferson tries to scoop out Chris’ leg and fails before suffering from Chris’ headlock driver, sending him crown first into the canvas. Chris quickly presses down with a lateral press.
…1 …2
NO! Dave Shadow comes flying across the ring and slams his fist into the back of CP as Jefferson rolls away for a moment. Shadow pulls Chris up and delivers a swift knife edge chop as the crowd delivers a loud “woo.” Chris however is unfazed, having trained with the Senator and his vicious chop Chris eats a second one from Dave but comes back with one of his own which backs Dave off clutching his chest. Deciding that standing and trading blows with Chris isn’t going to work, Dave comes back and out of nowhere delivers a big dropsault that connects, catching Chris off guard.
McNally: Dave Shadow catching Chris there while he was out for a moment.
Edison: Momentary lapse in focus there and it could cost Chris Phenomenal the match and the title.
Chris is down as Shadow gets up to his feet and begins stalking him, Jefferson still in the corner after the Headlock Driver looking like he’s done for the evening. Chris slowly gets up to one knee and puts his right hand down to push himself up and takes a moment to gather himself. Looking at Senator who’s trying to say something but Chris can’t focus on it and turns around right into Dave Shadow who leaps up and plants him with the Blink! Quickly he covers him, stealing a glance at Jefferson still out in the corner as RAF counts the fall.
…1
McNally: We have a new champion!
…2
Edison: Dave Shadow has finally accomplished his goal…and over Chris Phenomenal no less.
