Entrance Music: Pray For Villains - Devildriver
Entrance Description:
The arena lights fade to darkness, as the thunderous opening riff of "Pray for Villains" tears through from the speakers. The audience immediately erupts in a roaring chorus of boos.
Bitter Blood on the blood-stained highway
We're brothers in arms 'til we get it right
You're gonna want it your way
It's gonna be done now
Don't take it too far, gonna get it right
Move on from the past
Agree to disagree
Pyro explodes as Ford appears on the stage, the boos intensifying as he makes his way to the ring, jaw-jacking with anyone close enough for him to verbally abuse.
Every sorrow has its source
And your conscience isn't free
In the dog days of Summer
On another sober September
This was meant for you
Ford slides into the ring, immediately going to scale the turnbuckles, facing out at the crowd, arms raised in preemptive triumph.
They pray for villains
When their heroes let them down
They pray for villains
When their heroes let them down
Let them down!
Ford dismounts the buckles, moving to pace in his corner, awaiting the ring of the bell, smirking all the while.
History: Former and longest reigning XWF Xtreme Champion, former XLW Television Champion, one of the original members of the New Authority, founding member of the original XLW. Ford has been involved in professional wrestling since the age of 13, and is widely considered one of the most talented..and ruthless workers in the world today. Worked his first professional match at the age of 17, then spent the next year and a half working the independent circuit before spending the next two years in Japan. He returned to take the XWF by storm, winning the Xtreme Championship in his debut match and going on to become the longest reigning champion in the history of the company, and a perrenial World Title contender. He then jumped ship to the rival XLW, where he was the company's first and only Television Champion, also capturing the World Heavyweight title before returning to his independent work before making his way to the EWF, where he immediately achieved stardom, first as the EWF X Division Champion, then more recently as the Trifecta Champion before the collapse of the company just a few days later. His unnofficial "debut" in EPW was an inauspicious one, assaulting an already injured Dave Briggs before being hauled from the arena by security. Soon thereafter Ford revealed his allegiance with the Enemy Club, teaming with the Methodical Madman to take on the Tag Team Champions at Date With Destiny. Meth and Ford were unsuccessful in unseating the champions, however, and both men left the company in disgust as the Club imploded around them, only for Ford to return later, capturing the Primetime title in his next run. Ford then took out on his own, soon overtaking the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, which he carried with him for several months before finally being unseated by Fanboard's Zero, the very same man he'd defeated for the EPW Primetime title mere months before. At the closure of Fanboard, Ford found himself in the WWF, where he took the federation by storm, winning the King of the Ring tournament and challenging for the World Heavyweight title. A booking change saw Ford grow unhappy and leave the company, however, moving onto the pastures of ELITE, where he found himself re-embroiled in a bloody feud with Zero. He now seeks greener, and far more compensatory pastures elsewhere...enter ACW.
