Match 3: Jake Steele vs. Jonny Hughes (Credit: Torak)
Reaching the mid-way point of an evening can be an exhausting milestone. Acknowledging the fact that your emotions and expectations have only so far been half-tested, you gear yourself for a second, more lethal dose of thrill and ferver.
Momentarily plunged into shade is the indication of an imminent arrival. All eyes focus on the glittering entrance of the Warfare set as the first competitor prepares to make his entry.
A startling explosion through the giant speakers causes the inattentive or nervously disposed in the audience to jolt involuntarily. An eerie apocalyptic wail pierces the atmosphere and is opposed by a chorus of jeers from the fans. The big beat rhythm of The Prodigy thumps throughout the arena as “Spitfire” declares the arrival of the much-maligned Jonny Hughes. The Human Hate machine, wrapped in a tight fitting track top, the manufacturer logo patched over due to the stringent advertising laws. However, nobody can censor the Union Jack stitched to his left breast. Pausing on the ramp, the heat machine from the North East of England strikes a pose which is well synchronized with the beat of the music and a burst of white pyrotechnics behind him. Absorbing the contempt directed at him, he continues towards the ring.
The booming voice of Phillip struggles to over-power the thunderous pounding of the music.
Phillip: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Hartlepool, England, weighing in at two-hundred and twenty pounds, “Spitfire” Jonny Hughes!
Arriving at the squared circle, he takes a brief moment to study the ring before making his way up the steel steps. His confident steps would surely be audible if not for the deafening music. Entering the ring he sheds himself of his track top and disposing of it at ringside. He decides to waste no time with showmanship and crowd baiting. He trains his view onto the stage with a focused glare.
The music dies and is replaced with an anticipation building silence.
An ominous fanfare provides the introduction of a hard hip-hop beat. The opening line, laced with profanity draws a familiar figure from the back as Pharoahe Monch flows over his “Simon Says” joint.
The appearance of Steele on the peak of the ramp elicits another rapturous ovation as the returning former Champion bounces in time with the music. Making his way to the ring, Steele interacts with the lucky fans alongside the ramp, high fiving an elated selected few. Phillip pipes up with an enthusiastic tone. Even he seems overjoyed to see Steele back in action.
Phillip: And his opponent, making his return to the ACW, from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at two-hundred and thirty-four pounds, “The Real Deal” Jake Steele!
Jake, sporting his new white trunks trimmed with black, slides into the ring and immediately mounts the turnbuckle, posing with both arms aloft, revelling in the glory of his comeback. He flexes his knees to bounce in time to the beat of the track, much to the annoyance of his opponent, who grows impatient with every second that passes. Reluctant to waste his moment, re-exits the ring and high-fives a few more fans surrounding the ring, educing complaints from Hughes to the referee, who’s attempts to reassure him do nothing to appease the Human Hate Machine.
Finally, after lapping up enough of the euphoria, Jake returns to the ring. The music is cut abruptly and the arena is re-illuminated to its normal clarity. You miss nothing in the ACW.
The two men square up, studying each other’s posture, attempting to predict the first move. They raise their arms with clawed hands, aiming for each others’ shoulders and look to lock into each other – but Jake backs off and instructs Jonny to wait. He turns to the crowd and attempts to get them worked up into frenzy again by waving his arms above his head, a gesture to which the fans respond, agitating a frustrated Hughes. Jake turns to Hughes and surprisingly extends a hand to his rival, offering a hand shake. Hughes ignorantly maintains his glare of disdain on Steele, both angered and perplexed by the gesture. Jake reels his hand back toward him and turns to the crowd with a mocking gesture, bringing laughter from the fans. Hughes sneers at his opponent, but remains focused, not allowing the anger to control him. He claws his hands again and urges Steele to engage.
The two men finally get the match underway, hooking up at the shoulders. Steele has the slight strength advantage, but Hughes is wily enough to counter. They teeter back-and-forth, battling for leverage. Forcing the returning star into the ropes, Hughes breaks the lock and explodes with a tempered knife edge chop to the chest, causing Steele to grimace. He repeats the strike, causing all attending viewers to grimace at the echoing sound of skin on skin. Hughes backs Steele into the ropes and attempts to whip him across the ring, but Steele manages to reverse the force and sends Hughes scuttling across the canvas. Steele buckles, seemingly aiming for a back drop, but Hughes thinks quickly and catches Steele in the shoulder with a stiff kick. Steele staggers backwards and finds himself taken down to the mat with a whiplashing snapmare takedown, which Hughes immediately follows with a reverse chinlock. In the sitting position, the recipient of a chinlock can find it difficult to work his way out of the hold. Wrenching with determination, Hughes vices the head of Steele as the referee supervises the hold, to ensure it doesn’t transform into a choke hold. Steele tries to lever himself onto his feet, against the will of his antagonist.
Working his strong legs, Steele manages to push himself to his feet but still finds himself in the strong grip of his opponent, who has had to adapt the move into a headlock due to the altered position. Steele throws some awkward elbows into the midsection of his opponent, but Hughes puts them to rest with a rising knee to the sternum before bringing Steele back to the mat with a headlock takedown, transitioning into another reverse headlock. It is clear the Hughes is attempting to wear Steele down, curbing his fast paced offensive style. Steele struggles to counter this time, but by clapping his hands in a slow rhythm he is able to coerce the fans into a Jake Steele chant. The support for the former champion manages to break Hughes’ concentration for a brief second, allowing Steele to land some open handed strikes. Just as it seems Steele may battle back, Hughes lands a stiff elbow to the back of the head of Jake. Pulling him to his feet, Hughes directs his opponent to the corner where he lands another knife edge chop to the chest, subduing Steele, whose victorious return may be compromised here. Hughes lands a handful of stiff forearms before retreating from the incapacitated Steele at the request of the referee. He backs into the center of the ring before charging back at Steele and landing a brutal running forearm smash, which dazes Steele. Jake staggers out of the corner and wanders into the dangerous territory of the open ring. Hughes charges at him and assaults him with a sickening lariat which almost turns Steele inside out. Hughes makes the cover, but the damage done so far is insufficient for the three, as Steele kicks out on two.

Hughes resolutely yanks Steele to his feet and twists him slowly into a slow neckbreaker, jolting Steele back down onto the canvas. Hopping quickly to his feet, Hughes goes to work on the knees of Jake with stiff kicks, attempting to reduce their effectiveness. He bends over and grips the left leg of Steele, holding the foot firmly before twisting his legs around it in a spinning toe hold. Jake winces in agony as his knee and ankle are put under a serious amount of pain. Hughes spins once…twice…three times, inducing a sickening cry of agony from Steele. He attempts to spin around again, but Steele uses his free foot to push Hughes away. Steele hops quickly to his feet as a rebounding Hughes approached. Despite his left knee being weakened, Steele attempts a Shuffle Side Kick, but the impact is avoided by Hughes, who cleverly kicks the standing leg of Steele, sending him crashing to the mat in pain. With Steele face down on the canvas, Hughes places his boot behind the left knee of his fallen opponent and stomps it harshly into the canvas. Steele rolls onto his back, holding his excruciating knee. Hughes pauses for a moment to extract some heat from the crowd before pulling Steele back to his feet. Application of a front facelock is quickly proceeded by a quick suplex, which drives Steele thunderously into the canvas. Hughes jumps to his feet and inspects the situation. He strides to the corner and clambers up the turnbuckle, stopping at the summit to draw some more heat before diving off towards his target with a devastating headbutt. This could be it. Hughes makes the cover but before the three, Steele manages to kick out. The diving headbutt was a gamble, which failed to pay off for Hughes, who starts to display some signs of exhaustion and frustration. The high-risk manoeuver took a large portion of his energy from him as well as his opponent.
Both men get to their feet. Hughes, maintaining the advantage, lands a couple of stiff knife edge chops to the chest of Steele before whipping him across the ring. He sets himself for his Trademark Showpiece manoeuver, but much to his surprise, Steele launches himself into the air and catches the unsuspecting Hughes with a running wheel kick. It stresses his already weakened knee, but the impact on his opponent makes the move worthwhile. Stunned, Hughes rushes to his feet but walks straight into a DDT. A shocked Hughes grasps the back of his head and slowly gets to his feet again as the crowd roars into life for this comeback of Jake’s. Hughes gets back to his feet, slowly this time, still holding the back of his neck. Unfortunately for him, his neck is about to receive more punishment as Steele pulls off a spectacular Swinging Neckbreaker, a move that Steele likes to call Broken Legacy. Hughes fully appreciates the “Broken” moniker as he lays motionless on the canvas. Despite Hughes early domination, the balance of the match is all-square thanks to some high impact moves from Steele.
Steele hobbles over to the corner, still feeling the effects of the prolonged damage to his knee. He begins to climb the turnbuckle, but slowed by the pain in his knee, by the time he reaches the top, Hughes is already beginning to get back to his feet. Steele is forced to improvise, and he does so with a flying clothesline, which knocks Hughes back down to the canvas.
Steele prompts a huge pop from the crowd as he signals for his primary finishing move, the Busaiku Knee Kick, which he refers to in a Hip-Hop Swagger as the “Right In Yo’ Face”. Hughes, unaware of what’s in store, slowly gets to his feet. As he reaches verticality he looks up and sees Steele steaming towards him. He takes evasive action and exits the ring via the space between the top and middle rope and lands on the hard concrete outside with a great relief. He points to his temple and proclaims himself too smart to fall for that.
However, too concerned with bigging himself up, he fails to spot Steele lurking near the ropes above him. Before he can react, Steele launches himself up onto the ropes and in a quick twisting motion, comes down onto Hughes and executes an amazing DDT. Only once has the S-Revolution made an outing in an ACW arena, but never before has a 720 DDT been so spectacular – neither has it been so devastating. Both men lay broken on the concrete surrounding the ring as the referee, still in awe at the move begins to administer the dreaded 10 count, presenting a perfect opportunity for commercials.
-
But this is not the WWE; this is the ACW, meaning no intrusive ads at crucial moments during a match. The referee, making his special slow count, reaches the six count before Steele manages to get to his feet. As quickly as his lack of energy allows him, he pulls Hughes up and rolls him into the ring and climbs up onto the apron himself, breaking the count which threatened to end the bout.
Hughes himself begins to stir as Steele plots his next move. He places some difference between himself and his opponent as Hughes slowly gets to his feet. He looks up, and sees Steele charging at him. He leaps up and appears to attempt the Lion’s Roar, but Hughes somehow manages to grasp the hips of the attacking Steele and convert the move into a powerbomb, utilizing the momentum of the rushing Jake to his advantage, saving him from expending the energy normally required.
Hughes backs off the stricken Steele and poses, dextrously using his fingers to spell out the letter H, surely a pre-cursor of the fierce H Bomb move which Hughes likes to end matches with. He pulls Steele to his feet and places his head between his legs before Underhooking both arms. Steele squirms, knowing that should he fall victim to this move, it is match over. He manages to free his arms and quickly tucks his hands behind the knees of Hughes, bringing him down onto his back. Steele retains his grasp on the legs of Hughes and quickly twists him into the Brooklyn Crab. The crowd go wild as Jake looks to snatch victory.
Hughes squirms in pain; the pressure on his back is unbearable. But a glimmer of hope presented itself to Spitfire in the form of a tantalizingly nearby bottom rope. He stretched an exhausted arm as far as it could reach, but the rope hung just out of his grasp. Steele tightens his grip, compressing the lower back of his opponent. Hughes claws desperately at the canvas, unable to get any purchase. He lurches his body forward slightly, but another stretch of the arm reveals the rope to be still just out of reach. He contemplates tapping, the easy option of ending the surge of pain coursing through his body. Any twist of his body edges him closer to the ropes. He has been in the hold for a long time and the crowd rise to their feet, urging him to tap and complete Steele’s glorious comeback. Hughes stretches, determination painted onto his face. He stretches, and makes slight contact with the rope, managing to claw a finger around the bottom rope. The referee orders Steele to break the hold and he obliges. Hughes scrambles to his feet slowly as Steele backs off, gesturing to the crowd, sparking them into life again. Hughes adopts a look of desperation.
Hughes runs off the ropes as Steele ducks his clothesline. Hughes turns around and grabs the arm of Steele, taking him down to the ground in quick succession. Hughes attempts to lock on The Crossface, but Steele blocks the hold by lodging his elbow in between Hughes' arms. Steele is in a beneficial position, and is able to get to one foot. With his other elbow, he bangs the abdomen of Hughes and unlocks the hold. As he gets to his feet, he hits Hughes with a barrage of rights, as the crowd livens up. Hughes ducks the last punch, and kicks Steele low. He runs off the ropes, and as he comes back, Steele picks him up on to his shoulders...
McNally: He's setting up for Queensbridge Falling!
Edison: Here's the first QBF back from his short vacation!

Before Steele can drop Hughes down, we hear a loud crack, possibly from a Singapore cane. As Steele drops to the ground, the attacker is revealed...
McNally: THE REPROBATE!
Rep tightens his grip on the Singapore cane as the crowd get to their feet in confusion and anger.
Edison: What the hell!?
Rep exits the ring with the cane in hand and goes over to the ACW ring announcer. He grabs his mic, which the announcer objects to. Rep responds by swinging the cane and hitting him right in the temple. He goes down as fast as he stood up.
McNally: Yeez Louise!
The "Deadman" enters the ring with his microphone, and stands over the fallen Steele who reaches to get to his feet.
Rep: Didn't expect to see me, did you Jake?
Steele, back leaning on the ropes, begins to shake his head no as he breaths harder and harder, trying to fill his desperate lungs. After getting a response, Rep swings the cane, hitting Steele on top of the head.
Rep: Shut up! Now judging by the response I received, you people didn't expect to see me here either. Judging by that response, it would sound like you people don't like me!
The crowd begins booing, affirming Rep's theory.
Rep: I'll give you a second chance. We're gonna try this again.
Rep exits the ring and counts to five, and then turns to the ACW ring announcer, who was still on the ground, and whacks him with the cane again. The crowd boo even louder, and Rep enters the ring again, this time getting a running swing with the cane, exploding over Steele's head. The crowd boos even louder than before.
Rep: You've failed me again! That's nothing new. You people have always been failures. You lying, backstabbing, hypocritical tubs of lard couldn't tell the truth if you wanted to. What happened to the welcoming response? What happened to the tears flowing for old Rep!?
Rep swings the cane again, whacking Steele on the back.
Rep: What happened to "Hey, that Rep isn't such a bad guy after all!" ?
Another swing, and Steele takes another hard shot to the back. His back now dons a red streak from the cane, the first shot is now busted open with drops of blood escaping his skin.
Security guards begin filtering out from all sides of the crowd. They enter the ring and check on Steele, and attempt to separate the two men before anything serious can take place. One of the guards tries to get the cane away from Rep, but he refuses to hand it over.
Rep: Get out of my face or I'll take your head right off your shoulders. Jake! I have an announcement to make.
As Steele wakes up from his unconsciousness, the guards pull him to his feet and stand between he and Rep, with each man standing on their own side of the ring. A person at ringside slides a microphone over to Steele.
Rep: Yes, give him a microphone. He'll want to respond to this. Well Jake, it seems as if the news of your girlfriend Rena has gotten out.
The crowd, knowing of Rena's pregnancy, stir. Not sure of what to make of this, they listen on.
Rep: That's right. When I was watching you two on TV, and I saw the pregnancy test confirmed... I was happy.
Steele, out of breath, attempts to fight back verbally.
Steele: You're sick.
Rep: I'M sick? Do you know how it made me feel when I was watching that TV, and I saw the pregnant Rena Matheson? It wasn't the pregnancy that made me sick, Jake. It was you. It was Jake Steele, cradling, kissing and rubbing the stomach of MY BABY!
Steele, shocked, attempts to jump past the guards and attack Rep. The guards dive at Steele and hold him back with all their strength. Meanwhile, the crowd goes in to a frenzy "oohing and aahing" at this revelation.
McNally: What is he saying?
Rep: That's right! I BANGED YOUR GIRLFRIEND, JAKE STEELE. I IMPREGNATED HER, AND SHE IS NOW CARRYING MY DEMON SEED.
Steele starts swinging at the guards to get away, and Rep gets his singapore cane ready for him if he breaks free.
Edison: Oh my god.
The crowd begins a "Let him go" chant towards the security guards, who hear the response. A referee runs down to the ring and slides in, as the guards back away. The referee points to both wrestlers... then to the timekeeper.
Referee: Let's get it on!
Steele runs to Rep, who ducks a clothesline. Rep swings the singapore cane, but Steele ducks that as well. Suddenly, a crack of a steel chair is heard and the camera angle moves to the outside of the ring, where Christina Hernandez stands with a steel chair, after hitting Jake Steele on the back. Cut back to the ring, and Rep cracks the singapore cane on Steele, who is on his knees, over the head one final time. Steele drops to the ground and Rep covers him quickly as the crowd boos even louder.
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!
McNally: Did we just see what I think we saw?
Edison: I would certainly think so!
Christina enters the ring with the chair and looks towards Rep with a confused and angry expression.
McNally: ...My mind hasn't even processed this yet. Rep is the father of Rena's baby!
Rep drops the singapore cane and extends his hands in a hug. The emotional Rep squeezes her tight, and takes her by the hand. He brings her out of the ring and they walk up to the backstage area as Rep explains himself to a confused Christina.
McNally: Rep just got a pinfall victory over a former ACW World Heavyweight Champion!
Edison: He also IMPREGNATED his girlfriend! What a guy.
Fade.
OOC: Ending and post-match credit goes to Rep.

Be Careful What You Wish For Jack Jefferson / Mr. Red
Since the confrontation between Jack Jefferson and Mr. Red on Meltdown there has been a lot of speculation thrown around. Will Red keep true to his word and show up in the ring for an old school showdown with Jefferson? Is Red crazy by going toe-to-toe with the psychopathic Jefferson or is he, in fact, utilising the perfect game plan by stopping Jefferson from calling the shots? Will their history play into things or is Jefferson truly a different person from the time he was known as Tornado and was part of the Code Red tag team? All very valid questions and hopefully ones that will be answered tonight, if Red shows up that is.
True to his word, Red makes his way down to the ring to a rapturous applause and the booming sound of "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N Roses. He looks calm, a slight smile on his face and his posture giving away no signs of being nervous as he casually swings the baseball bat in his hand. He rolls into the ring and a “MR. RED” chant starts up as he is handed a microphone. This brings a smile to his face and he nods his head in time to the rhythm to show his fans his appreciation before he talks.
Red: You all know exactly why I’m here, and that is to bore you all to death with a pointless speech filled with needless rhetoric so I’m just gonna cut right to the chase. I’m here Jefferson, come and get me!
It’s like a vacuum has sucked all the noise from within the ACW Arena as everyone waits with baited breath. This seems to last an age until there is a collective sigh of relief as “Paint it Black” by The Rolling Stones hits the speakers. This has got to be the first time anyone has ever been relieved that Jefferson is showing up. Red, however, breaks his confident facade and for the first time nervousness can be seen in his demeanour. What betrays him is the fact he looks over his shoulder, although you can hardly blame him; it wouldn’t be the first time Jefferson has come through a crowd to blindside someone. This time, however, he has chosen to do it right and he comes sprinting through the curtain at breakneck speed. The boos grow in tenacity as Jefferson rushes towards the ring, crowbar in hand, and slides under the bottom rope. These boos are rapidly converted to cheers, though, when the crowd realises that Red has simultaneously slid out of the ring as Jefferson slid into it.
Jefferson rises to his feet, ready to strike a blow to Red, but finds himself alone in the squared circle. Incensed, he whirls around to find Red shooting him a cheeky grin from outside the ring. As Jefferson scowls and roars out a barrage of expletives Red fixes his face to serious, he means business. Diving into the ring he narrowly manages to avoid being clobbered by Jefferson swinging the crowbar, Chloe, at his head. Red is, luckily able to quickly get to his feet and able to be on a vertical base as Jefferson takes another swing. As Red brings his bat up to deflect the blow the sharp prongs of the crowbar lodge themselves into the wood of the bat. This enables Red to yank the crowbar from Jefferson’s grip. Smiling, he casually tosses it away.
Jefferson’s eyes widen as he realises the pickle he’s in. Red makes the same realisation but his reaction is extremely different, a sadistic smile painting itself on his face. Jefferson attempts to do the only sensible thing to do in such a situation...get the hell out of dodge. Unfortunately, Jefferson isn’t able to move quickly enough and Red manages to clobber him on the back of his head with the baseball bat. Jefferson crumbles under the impact of the blow, blood flowing from a gash on the back of his head. Triumphant, Red stands over the barely conscious Jefferson with a wide smile on his face. He grabs the mic in order to rub in his superiority.
Red: That makes it 2-0!
Leaving the crumpled Jefferson on the canvas Red climbs out of the ring to rapturous cheers. Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N Roses begins playing as Red strides up the ramp and past the EMTs rushing to the ring, a confident swagger in his step. The fans that line the entrance ramp clamour to show their support for Red, leaning over the security railings to get even the slightest contact with him. Red takes his time walking up the ramp, soaking in the adulation of his fans.

The Reprobate We fade in to Alex Storm standing in front of an ACW banner, with his mouth nearly hitting the ground in shock.Alex Storm: HOLY CRAP!As the song begins, we cut to footage of Rep returning and attacking Jake Steele with a singapore cane.Alex Storm: What an insane week! First, we find out that Rena is pregnant with Steele's baby... and THEN the following Monday, it's revealed that NOT ONLY is Rep not dead, but HE is the father of Rena's baby. Rep has destroyed Steele's hopes and dreams of becoming a father! But why? Let's hear it from the man himself. I caught up with Rep later on in the night, and here's what he had to say.Cut to a clip of Alex Storm knocking on a locker room door. Rep opens the door, sees Alex and goes to close it.Alex Storm: Come on Rep! Give us a moment.Rep: Fine.Rep comes out of the locker room, closes the door behind him and waits for Alex's question.Alex Storm: I'm sure this will be a strange question but... where the hell have you been, and WHY did we think you were dead? Were you AWARE that everyone thought you had passed away?Rep: Of course I knew it, nitwit. It's all a part of my master plan, actually. To tell you the truth, I know that my best years are behind me. I know that my career is slowly coming to its curtain call. I have to start getting ready for my rebirth! The Reprobate Redux must be prepared. I have to create a second generation to continue on my cult. Which is why I enlisted the services of that filthy, fertile whore... Rena Matheson. I was going to fake my death and be in hiding as I trained that baby. He was going to be the earner of my skills and psychological prowess. Look what happened. Rena Matheson, the CUNT, in a drunken stupor, destroyed my plans by revealing that I had used her seed.Alex Storm: You really are out of your mind, aren't you?Rep: What the hell is so wrong with preparing for the second act?Alex Storm: Alright, whatever! But why Rena? Why couldn't you just keep it in the cult with Christina? Why did you have to destroy Steele's spirit by ruining it for him?Rep: You are such an ass, Alex Storm. You know damn well that Christina is incapable of having children. She is INFERTILE! I would love for my child to have the physical attributes of her, but it was not to be. I had to find another woman to carry the seed. It's purely business, I have no feelings for Rena and once she pops out my child, I will take it and dump her in the trash like the whore she is.Alex Storm: Alright, but go back to the story. How did Rena ruin your fake death?Rep: I came back for multiple reasons. One... she REVEALED that I banged her! What would happen then? Everyone in the world would then see my child after his training, and know that he is the son of The Reprobate. They would LOVE him! It would ruin my cult! I had to come back and make sure that these idiots hated me again. The other reason why I came back... I saw Jake Steele on TV, cradling Rena. He really believed that this child was his. It SICKENED me. He was going to STEAL my child and start a FAMILY? It made me sick to my stomach. I threw up. I come back for one reason and one reason only. Well... I come back for TWO reasons. One reason is to maintain my image, and the image of my cult. The other reason is so I can take what is rightfully mine... that baby. Leggo my eggo, Jake Steele. Leggo my eggo.Alex Storm: Well what about Christi-Rep slams the door in Alex's face. Cut back to Alex Storm.Alex Storm: I WAS going to ask him about Christina. She didn't look TOO excited to see Rep back. I'm not sure if she was in on this plan, but judging by her response, I'd say she had no idea about the fake death OR the sex with Rena! If I were Rep, I'd be begging for her to forgive me! Well... at any rate, I'm Alex Storm, and this has been the Reprobate Roundup.Fade.

Segment: Twice The Money (Credit: Dan White & Thunder Train)
The camera opens up in the backstage area, to a huge pop, as again we see “The Welsh Dragon” Dan White standing, with his belt across his shoulder. The camera pans back slightly, and we embraced with Charlotte King's presence.
Charlotte King: Hello, ACW, we're here with the ACW World Heavyweight champion, Dan White! Dan, it's always a pleasure to interview you, especially when you could easily have gone home tonight, without having a match.
Dan White: That's all fine, Charlotte. Anything to be close to you.
Charlotte rolls her eyes at Dan's brass flirting attempts.
Charlotte King: ANYWAYS....Thunder Train's attacks on you last Thursday night seemed to have left you in a crumpling heap. But you're back today. Battered, bruised, but not down.
Dan White: No, and I never will be, Charlotte. You see, Train is a monstrous human being. He is a machine. But he's also a stupid idiot. His head is full of crap. And he was unable to finish the job last week. I'm still standing. And yeah, like you said I may not be able to fight currently, and like you said I'm not booked tonight, but I'm still here. And it's a statement to everyone at home, and indeed in this arena, that I'm not going to allow anyone to keep me grounded.
Charlotte King: Well a couple of weeks ago you opened up a challenge to anybody who wanted a title shot. Is this Train's offer, and are you accepting?
Dan White: Well, I don't know, truth be told. Until I hear it from the horse's, or in this case the walrus's mouth, I can't accept a challenge. But if he wants a fight, I'll be happy to give that fat piece of crap a fight.
There's pops for Dan's harsh words, as Charlotte continues.
Charlotte King: And what about EOTR, have you been keeping an eye on things there? After all, the winner will face the champion at Winter's Discontent.
Dan White: Hmm, that's another good point, Charlotte. I've been following it on and off, but I've been focused with other things, of course. Most-
But Dan is unable to finish his sentence. Charlotte shrieks as he's knocked from behind, by a menacing double axe handle from – you guessed it – Thunder Train. Train's eyes are widened as he shoves the camera back, grabbing Dan by his shirt and tossing him over a table laced with electrical equipment and wiring. Dan winces as he's subject to a barrage of sharp corners and pointy ends of wires, but Thunder Train isn't done. Not yet. He picks Dan up, smashing him through the table with yet another OM NOM BOMB.
It's about now when Ginger's security guards rush to the scene, and forces Train back. But Train looks like a man possessed. His eyes are the size of dinner plates, and his breathing is heavy. He even lets out a sinister laugh, as he watches over the lifeless body of the World champion. Train is escorted away, and this allows an EMT crew to quickly come onto the scene.
Twice in two shows now that Dan's been hit by a Train. Does he have anything in his arsenal to derail him?
Okay, no more cheesy metaphors.
Fade out.

Match 4: Mega Star Alliance Reunion Chris Phenomenal and Jonny Spade vs. VorteX and Jack Jefferson (Credit: Chris P)
Beginning
The match started with Jack Jefferson and Jonny Spade, former adversaries renewing hostilities in the middle of the ring. The two started off with a good ole fashioned collar and elbow tie up, bulling each other around the ring until Jefferson decided to take the early advantage, stomping on the foot of Jonny Spade and then delivering a thumb to the eye before whipping him into their corner. From their Jefferson and VorteX cut the ring in half, delivering quick blows to Spade before tagging out, keeping the fresh man in at all times. With Spade starting to wear down in the corner, VorteX looked to speed up the process, connecting with a round house kick and covering Spade for a near three count. VorteX was quick to his feet afterwards and hauled Jonny back into his corner before tagging in Jefferson who comes in and nails him with a slingshot senton. It is only the ropes that are able to save Jonny this time as he grabs a hold of the bottom rope just before the hand falls for the third time.
The Middlle
Jonny looked to be in the worst way, further controlled by VorteX and Jefferson before capitalizing on a mis placed shot from Jefferson and countering it with an elbow to the head and then swapping places with him before firing a few knife edge chops and whipping him cross ring back into his corner, following him in with a clothesline, and tagging in a fired up Chris Phenomenal. Chris works him over, a couple of chops and then two knees into Jefferson’s gut allow him to take control of the match and puts Jefferson in a wrist lock. A trained professional of the mat, Jefferson easily somersaults his way out of it and rolls up to his feet. There, he puts his elbows to work and exactly two of them later Phenomenal is back on the ropes. Jefferson takes him by the hand and Irish whips him into the ropes. Phenomenal bounces back and Jefferson ducks down for a big back body drop. CP goes flying over his head but amazingly lands on his feet. The crowd awes in astonishment at Chris’ athleticism but he gets a jumping dropkick to the chops for all his trouble. Jefferson quickly tags in VorteX hoping to maintain control.
The End
VorteX looked to end things, almost getting there with a Whirlwind of Destruction as he came into the match, Phenomenal not able to kick out but Spade making the save. This brought in Jefferson who started to brawl with Spade, eventually the refereeing breaking the two of them up. This gave Chris an opening as well as VorteX, distracted for a moment in aiding his partner allowing Chris to roll him up, nearly getting the three count until Jefferson got involved. This provoked Chris enough, him going after Jefferson eventually countering a blizzard suplex attempt on Chris after an irish whip into a Harlem Hurt. Chris lined him up for the Superman punch but was blindside by VorteX, having dispatched of Spade, the referee losing control of the match quickly, trying to get VorteX out of the way. With the attack by VorteX creating an opening Jefferson looked to seal the deal, looking to inside cradle Chris for another near fall, Chris breaking out of the hold. Jefferson finally said enough was enough and looked for another Blizzard Suplex but wasn’t able to get Chris up and the attempt cost him, Chris turning it into a Senatorial esque inside cradle with the overhook and the shock three count with Jonny Spade pulling VorteX off the mat as he tried to intervene.
The Winners: Chris Phenomenal and Jonny Spade.

APOLOGETIC The Reprobate Fade in to a locker room, where Christina Hernandez sits, visibly upset. She wipes away tears as The Reprobate enters the ring, shutting the door behind him. He sits down in front of her, and takes her hands.Rep: Alright, I know that you may be expecting some strange story about this, but I'm going to give it to you straight. You and I both know that you are incapable of being pregnant. This does not upset me, I am still in love with you and I do not look at you any differently. But the fact of the matter is, it is a must that my legacy be carried on. I have to have a child. It has to happen. So I went out and found that whore Rena Matheson. She's a wrestler. She has wrestling genes. Whether she's tougher or a better wrestler than you, that's debatable... but the fact of the matter is, she can fuck. So I impregnated her, and I DID IT. I could have used a syringe, but I want this child to be natural. I don't want it to end up being a robot or part animal. If it's any consolation at all, I did not enjoy banging her. In fact, she did nothing. She laid there like a lump on a log. It was not attractive. But the fact is... the deed is done, and the only thing we need is for that baby to pop out... and then we can continue my legacy... OUR legacy. Are you with me!?Rep extends his hand... and Christina, still upset and visibly shaken, takes his hand. Rep goes in and hugs her tightly, and the camera closes in behind Rep to Christina, who closes her eyes and begins to shed another tear.

Segment: Crazy Train All Aboard! (Credit: Train)
ACW fades into Train being pulled down a hallway by about 7 police officers. Train resists but the cops seem to overpower him. With his arms now in handcuffs, there isn't much Train can do. Eventually they reach the end of the hallway and the cops push open the doors and into the parking lot they go. However, in a last ditch effort, Train grabs one of the cops and throws him into the others. He takes off running trying to get away at any cost he can.
Thunder Train: COME ON YOU BASTARDS!
More cops and security come from the middle of nowhere and try to restrain Train but Train just throws them away and into the wall. Train seems to have sadistic eyes and breaks the handcuffs! Oh my! Train, now with full control of his arms starts using the cops and as battering rams and weapons against the others.
Thunder Train: You are gonna need to do better than that you assholes!
Cop: Sir! You need to calm down right now before we are required to use more deadly means to stop you!
Thunder Train: What the hell kind of cop announces something like that? Try all you can! The Train won't go down without a fight! A fight like you have never seen before!
The cop goes to rush Train like an idiot but Train just uses his momentum to throw him into the other officers that are behind Train. And now we are in a similar situation to Grand Theft Auto. Train going up against hundreds of cops without any problems! He goes toward a police car but another man steps up. Train grabs his head and pushes it down onto the open car door, snapping the mans neck instantly. The cop falls to the ground and Train smirks at the man. Another cop that is down witnesses this and in a last ditch attempt to be a hero limps over to Train and holds up a tazer!
Thunder Train: DON'T SAY THIS OLD JOKE BRO!
But it's too late and the man shoots the tazer at Train. Train twitches a bit then falls to the ground. The giant has finally be silenced as the security and police force drags him into the back of a car. Gingerdude steps out and sees what has happened and realizes that it is one step closer to being the destruction that he imagines. Train has never acted this way and it goes to show how badly he wants this championship and that he will stop at nothing to get it. But how much is too much?

A PROMISE [A SEGMENT BY] R e n a M a t h e s o n &T h e R e p r o b a t e Rena sat on the chaise lounge in her office as Steele paced the floors. She didn't look up- the expression across Steele's face was too much for her to bear. She only sat, waiting silently for him to say something to her. minutes passed and she finally opened up her mouth to say something, but nothing came out- no word would be able to help this situation at all. Rena ran her tongue across her teeth and sucked in hard, looking up quickly to notice Steele's pacing had stopped.
He was staring at her. His eyes were not filled with hate, which is what she expected, but of complete loss. Tears stung Rena's eyes as she looked upon his face- the face of someone who had just been emotionally destroyed. Steele had suffered enough loss in his life and with Rena's help he was beginning to gain back a part of himself that he believed was lost forever- but this news brought everything back to ground zero.
He closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose, looking down at the floor. He looked up shortly, opening his mouth before sighing, shaking his head and looking back down. It seemed Steele, too, had nothing left to say either.R E N AJake, I can explain-S T E E L EAfter sitting there saying nothing to me, the only thing you could come up with was some cliche response? He was right. She was stupid to even try to explain- it wouldn't have eased the pain he was feeling right now. She bit her lip hard and sighed, looking deep into his eyes. He only turned away from her. She stood up from the chaise and placed her palm on his right shoulder, only to be shrugged away.R E N AJake-S T E E L EI can't even look at you right now.R E N AHe was nothing to me! We had sex before we started dating, and-S T E E L ENo. NO. I don't want to hear it.R E N AIt's not his.S T E E L EYou don't know that.R E N AYes I do. Jake ...She grabbed his hand and forced it to lay softly on her stomach.R E N AThis is our babyHe looked at his hand, lightly caressing her small bump, and then looked into her eyes. After a moment of silence, he took his outer hand and placed it on the back of Rena's head, lacing his fingers through the base of her hair.S T E E L EOur baby.Rena smiled as he wiped a tear from her face. His lips met hers, and in an instant they had forgotten about the news tonight. They forgot about everything.R E N ANothing will ever change that.S T E E L EIf Rep thinks he can take this kid away from me, he's sadly mistaken.R E N AHe can try, but he'll never take this from us.S T E E L ELet him try. I'll be ready.R E N AKnights don't come any shinier.Rena wrapped her arms tightly around his body, resting her face on his chest. He kissed the top of her head and began to rub her back before looking down with a smile.S T E E L EI feel like there's something between us.Rena laughed as his smile widened, placing his hand again on her stomach. It was a silly joke, but she laughed. It was the first time she's laughed in a bit. She playfully pushed him away and lightly punched him in the shoulder, prompting him to lift her up and carry her around as the scene fades to white.[fade]

The Misadventures of the J.O.B. Squad... By Dave Shadow The wind rustled through the trees, the leaves of which were starting to turn a dark shade of yellow in the approaching autumn weather. On top of a hill, three men stood, examining the ruins of an old castle. It had been hard to make their way to this island ; planes to Ireland, trains to the west coast and then having to row out across the Atlantic waves in order to reach the craggy location. But they were told that if they could accomplish their mission, they would be more than rewarded handsomely.
In the center of the castle, the trio saw their prey. Dave Shadow sat, cross-legged, in the middle of an old, rusty wrestling ring, which had been left exposed to the harsh elements for nearly a year, left to rot and ruin. Shreds of banners still adorned the wall, the letters “C.I.W” still visible in places. Dave visited the castle on a regular basis, presumably to remind himself of how close he came to losing it all.
And there lay the difference between Dave Shadow and the three men who stood on top of the hill watching him now. They had lost it all. They had worked under Dave Shadow for three years. They had invested everything into their lives within the GWF, and when it closed, so too did they lose everything. They spoke softly to each other, making sure their prey did not hear.Thine-eyes: There he is. R-Smith: This is too easy. Shadowprince: We’ve not done anything yet. Be on your guard. He could have back-up in the vicinity. Yes, the three men were Thine-Eyes, R-Smith and Shadowprince. Quite possibly the three worst wrestlers to ever step foot into the ring since...well, anybody. These three managed to lose just about every match they were ever put into, and when GWF closed down, no one had rushed out to employee three useless nobodies. There records in the GWF were infamous, and it made them toxic. The GWF was the only place they would ever get jobs, and even then only because they had managed to secure amazing contracts in the opening of the company. But when it closed, so too did every opportunity they would ever have.
They blamed one man for the death of their careers. So imagine their joy when a phone call came through one day and promised to make them rich beyond their wildest dreams if they could take out that very man. The call had been vague but enough money had already been forwarded to their bank accounts that they could accept the credibility of whoever it was wanted the job done. And thus, they set out. It hadn’t been hard to find Dave. Working in ACW thrust him into the public eye, and it made it pretty hard for him to do anything without someone on the internet knowing. Thine-eyes: Come on, let’s do this. Shadowprince: Yeah. No time like the present. The three arose from their hidden positions on the hill and started to make their way down towards the castle, making sure to keep noise to the minimum. As they reached the large, wooden doors, they noticed that one was already open enough for them to slip right through.R-Smith: Knock, knock. Thine-Eyes: Whose there? R-Smith: Dave Shadow’s worst nightmare. The two laughed, as Shadowprince tried to hush them. They began sneaking through the corridors of the building, treading carefully. Time had not been kind to the halls either, as the floors had massive holes which could easily cause people to trip, and where portions of the roof remained, bricks looked likely to cave in at any minute.
Finally, the trio reaches the arena area, and starts sneaking down through the seats towards the ring. However, as they got close, they realised something. Shadowprince: Where the fuck is he gone? The three looked down towards the ring to find it empty; where Dave was earlier sitting, now there was only an empty ring in his place. The three decided there wasn’t much point sneaking around any more as they started to speed down to the ring. Shadowprince rolled under what was left of the ropes and stood up, looking around for a clue as to where Dave went. Thine-Eyes got on his hands and knees and searched under the ring, while R-Smith scanned the entire arena. But Dave was gone.Shadowprince: God damn it, guys! Where did he go? The other two looked at him and shrugged. However, they weren’t left wondering for long. From the top of the entrance ramp, a voice shouted towards them.Dave: Guys? Looking for me? The trio turned suddenly and looked up at the entrance curtain to find Dave Shadow standing there, his hands on his hip, dressed in a casual t-shirt and jeans. He had a big smile on his face, and this just pissed off Shadowprince even more. Shadowprince: Dave Shadow. Remember me? I told you I would get revenge on you someday. Do you know how much misery you put us through when the GWF closed? Do you know how many lives you ruined? Dave: Yack yack yack. I’m presuming you guys aren’t just here for a nice, friendly reunion. Before Shadowprince could open his mouth to retort, R-Smith let a blood-curdling battle cry out, and started to charge up the ramp towards Dave. His arms outstretched, R-Smith leapt at Dave, trying to grab his throat to strangle the life out of him. Before he could though, Dave managed to take a single step to the side. R-Smith went sailing by him, through the curtain and down a set of stairs, crashing down to what was left of the gorilla position. Banging his head upon landing, R-Smith collapsed on the ground, unconscious.Dave: One down.Thine Eyes looked up into the ring at Shadowprince, fear starting to set in. Shadowprince just nodded in Dave’s direction. Thine Eyes new he was screwed, stuck between a rock and a hard place. Looking to the sky and saying a silent prayer, he began to make his way up the ramp slowly. Dave couldn’t help but grin.
Shadowprince moved towards the ropes, realising that two heads were better than one. However, as his feet touched the ground after climbing through, he heard another scream. Not a battle cry; more of a yelp for pain. He had only taken his eyes off of Dave and Thine for a few moments to get out of the ring, but apparently that was all Dave needed. Thine Eyes lay in a heap at Dave’s feet. Dave, on the other hand, was still in the exact same pose, as if he hadn’t moved a muscle.Dave: Two.Shadowprince: What the....how did.... Dave: I’ve been training since GWF closed. Shadowprince: Screw it. Those two were only lackeys anyway. I’m the real threat to you Dave. Dave: Sure you are. Look. I’m quivering in my boots.Dave started to make his way down towards Shadowprince, who stood at the bottom of the ramp. He wanted to move, but fear was slowly taking over, freezing his feet to the ground. That hadn’t stopped him running his mouth however.Shadowprince: Don’t you want to know why we’re here? Dave: Aside from the revenge you’re seeking for what happened in GWF and afterwards? Shadowprince: Yeah, that’s right. Dave: Let me guess. Someone offered you quite a big reward if you could come and take me out?Shadowprince’s eyes opened wide in shock. He opened his mouth, but no words came out. Dave decided to peak instead.Dave: What? How did I know? See, I’m guessing you presumed that whoever called you was the same person behind the recent attacks on me. Unfortunately, you were wrong.Sensing a chance to prove the “infallible” Dave Shadow wrong, Shadowprince snapped back.Shadowprince: Actually asshole, I had no clue who asked me to attack you. I could care less. He was willing to cover our expenses and then some for something I’d been wanting to do for quite some time. I don’t care who asked me to do.... Dave: I asked you to do it, you idiot!Once again, Shadowprince found himself unable to speak, his tongue firmly glued to the top of his pallet. Dave: See, I figure that the real attacker could strike at any time and I need to be ready, to be constantly vigilant. So I rang up three guys I knew would love to get some revenge and told them to attack. Didn’t tell them where, didn’t tell them when. Didn’t want to know. Just that it was coming. Just that the threat was real and could happen at any stage. Just like how I feel all the time in ACW at the moment. Of course, you should know the offer still stands. You take me out....the money is yours. You want to take....Shadowprince knew that he wouldn’t get much more of a chance to strike. Dave’s weakness was his fondness of monologues, a weakness he was currently indulging in. Pulling his fist back, Shadowprince swung, looking to try and put all his power into this one shot. He may have cut Dave off midsentence, but Dave still seemed more than prepared for this.
Dave ducked his head as the punch sailed by. Shadowprince had fully committed himself though, and could only watch as Dave jumped up and grabbed his head, before pulling him down to the concrete floors hard and fast with his famous reverse leaping STO. Shadowprince felt his nose break and blood pour out of his nostrils for only a second before blacking out. He would wake up six hours later in an Irish hospital, after an “anonymous source” tipped off the services to the bodies of three men on a remote castle island. =========================
Dave clambered back to his feet again and looked down at the body of his former employee. He looked up at the fallen body of Thine Eyes as well. Both were breathing. He considered momentarily going to check on R-Smith as well, but he was sure he was alive, if not necessarily well. Brushing himself off, Dave walked towards the ring barrier, hoped over its remains and started to make his way up towards the exit.
As he did, he thought to himself. These three may have had the opportunity to stalk him and try to surprise him, but whoever his attacker was.....well, he’d be a far bigger threat. He’d have to remain constantly aware of his surroundings. Another attack could come at any time from any angle. And no amount of training like this would ever prepare him for such an attack.
Constant vigilance. That was all Dave could hope to achieve.Fade.

Match 5: International Title Match Michael Smart vs. Dave Shadow (c) (Credit: Red Panther)
Philips: Introducing first, the challenger, from Chicago, weighing in it 228 pounds and standing at six-feet one inches, with Daniel Smart.... MICHAELLL, SMARTTTTTTTTTTT!
Live to win" by Paul Stanley starts playing. White and blue lights start flashing in the arena as Michael Smart comes out, wearing a white vest. Close behind him is Daniel Smart. The two make their way to the ring, Michael looking around the crowd at the fans. Daniel stays at ringside as Michael climbs the stairs and steps inside the ring, climbing a turnbuckle and raising his arms up in the air triumphantly. The lights stop flashing as Michael jumps down and starts pacing around the ring, waiting for Shadow.
Philips: And the champion, from Ireland, weighing in at 213 pounds, standing at six feet, DAVEEEE SHADOWWWW!
"Voodoo Child" hits the speakers, as the lights in the arena go out. As the music builds, several blinding lights illuminate at the top of the entrance ramp. A shadow emerges, the silhouette dancing along with the music. As the shadow walks out of the light, we see it's Dave Shadow, with a perverted smile plastered accross his face and his belt on his shoulder. He makes his way down the ramp and hops up onto the apron, climbing to the second rope at one of the corners and posing for all his fans. The camera spins round him, as he hops down and awaits the bell after handing off the belt.
RAF raises the belt then hands it too ringside.
DING DING DING!
The two men pace around, Smart staring down Shadow while Dave just laughs. The two run in and lock up, but pull away. The two pace again before locking up again, this time staying close. Smart ducks behind Shadow and grabs his waist, but Shadow spins round and grabs Smarts waist. Smart pulls Dave's left hand off and spins away while twisting Daves arm. Shadow counters with a kick to Smarts knee, dropping him down to one knee. Shadow then pulls away his arm and clotheslines the kneeling Smart. Shadow covers and gets a one. Shadow raises Smart and pushes him to the ropes and then Irish whips him across. Shadow looks for a backbody drop, but Smart counters with a sunset flip, holding on for a one count.
Edison: Even match so far.
Maxwell: I can't see this ending soon.
Both men stand, the crowd chanting "Smart" over and over, led by Daniel Smart. Shadow goes for a standing rana, but can't pull Smart over. Shadow punches Smart a few times, but Smart manages to slam him back first into the corner. Smart chops Shadow and shouts "One". The crowd then count out the chops until nine, when Smart backs up and lariets Shadow for ten. Shadow stumbles out to Smart who hits him with a belly to belly suplex and then covers, with Shadow kicking out at two. Smart doesn't seem to annoyed, lifting Shadow up and locking him in a standing sleeper. The crowd cheers on Smart as Shadow throws his arms around all over trying to escape. Out of no were though, Shadow sticks his leg up, kicking Smart with a low blow! Smart drops to his knees and Shadow simply smile innocently at RAF, who gives him a "I'm VERY suspicious of you" look.
Edison: Smart could have won right there if Shadow had not cheated!
Shadow then runs at the ropes and on the rebound kicks Smart square in the chest and then mockingly yells "This. Is. DROGHEDA!!!" to torment the fans further. Shadow stomps onto Smarts chest twice and then drops an elbow, staying on top of Smart for the two count. Shadow argues with RAF a bit, allowing Smart to get up. The crowd all do that "wooo000OOO" build up as Smart goes for a clothesline, tipping Shadow off and causing him to drop to the mat, forcing Smart to lay out RAF. Smart is shocked and kneels down to check on RAF, allowing Shadow to get onto the apron. Smart stands up and turns around right into a springboard cross body from Shadow, flooring him.
Maxwell: RAF is down!
Edison: This could get interesting.

Shadow taunts Daniel Smart, who doesn't dare try to help his cousin. Shadow rolls out the ring and grabs a chair from ringside, throwing the camera man on it into the front row. Shadow rolls in as Smart uses the corner to stand up while RAF is still down. Shadow raises the chair up and as Smart turns *BOOM* brings it down onto Smarts forehead. Dave discards the chair as RAF begins to stir and lifts Smart, pushing him into the corner. Dave backs up, taunts the crowd and then hits Smart with a charging knee strike. Dave pushes Smart to the mat and then covers him. 1...2...KICKOUT! The crowd goes crazy for Smart, while Dave goes crazy in general, yelling at RAF. Smart stands up behind Dave and hits him with a big German suplex, smashing him down onto his neck. Smart then climbs to the top rope, looking down at Dave. Smart stands up, points to the sky, and then dives off, hitting Shadow with a diving headbut.
Edison: Meeting of the minds!
Smart covers but only gets two, to the crowds disappointment. Without skipping a beat Smart lifts Shadow up, pulls him to the middle of the ring and hits him with the Torment Theory (STO backbreaker). Smart again covers but gets two. Smart seems to be getting a bit desperate, locking in a single legged crab while yelling "TAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPP!" and screwing up his face. The fans are at this point chanting "Tap, Dave, tap, tap, Dave, tap", the noise now deafening. Smart wrenches back at Shadow, looking for the tap, Dave still far from the ropes. Out of no were Dave pulls his leg free and rolls out from under Smart. Smart turns and is hit with a rana. Dave then boots Smart straight in the side of the head then rolls him onto his front, the fans still chanting Smarts name despite it looking futile. Dave steps over Smart and grabs his leg, putting him in the Shadow Lock #2 (Brock lock). Smart tries to tough it out, but his head rules over his heart, and he lives up to his name. When he realises that there’s no way out of his predicament without risking serious injury, he makes the decision to tap, doing so with control. The crowd is booing their hearts out, and Smart knows he’s won the moral victory. Too bad it doesn’t come with a shiny gold belt.
Winner and still IN champ: Dave Shadow
Shadow stands up and holds his belt high as it is returned to him. The crowd recognises the skill of the two men in the ring; but Shadow’s arrogance means that they’re a long way from warming to him. Smart stands up as well, sending a clear signal that he may have lost this particular battle, but the war is far from over. A chant of “Smart, Smart, Smart” breaks out and gains pace; Shadow scowls and turns away, which brings a small smirk to Michael Smart’s face. He’s starting to make himself a fixture in the ACW main event scene, and every match is bringing him closer to a breakthrough which is becoming increasingly likely.
He’s fighting the people that matter. It’s only a question of time before he starts beating them. ACW had better wise up.... and it’s Smart who looks as if he’ll be giving that lesson.
Warfare ends with a shot of Shadow hailing the crowd from the ramp, as Smart looks on. Shadow still has his title, but it sits ever heavier on his shoulder.
Fade to Black.
End of Show.

Bored Now This has to be one of my favorite segments of the night. It shows both the playful and dangerous side of Flower Power. I hope someone steps up and creates a nice feud for the titles. Public Service AnnouncementUnfortunately, this one was way too short. I'm eager to see more Winner / Panther interaction to determine why exactly Winner is face now. I see the makings of something interesting here, however the storyline is still way too rushed. Back in my Day...I liked this segment a lot as well. More than before Smart seems to be standing out to me, and Shadow is just as cocky as always. I liked the inclusion of the history between these two as well. Good stuff. Ticket Tape Parade
This one didn't have as much 'impact' as the last "TK destroys ACW" segment. I just couldn't get into the whole play atmosphere, I enjoyed it more when the segment was directly to the point. Be Careful What You Wish ForNever bring a crowbar to a bat fight. I like the choice of weaponry here, although I've personally never followed Red's storyline I get a sense of his character through the writing. When these two finally have a match I think only the fans will win. Jake Steel vs. Jonny Hughes (ending)Swerves are always interesting, but this one lacked the impact it could of had. I would like to have seen far more of a buildup to this, maybe a bit of Rep stalking Steele / playing mind games before revealing the shocker. The invasion aspect / color reminded me a lot of TK's last segment though. Reprobate Round-UpI'm glad this segment followed soon after the other one because at first the whole 'Rep comes back from the dead and assaults Steele who comes back to ACW randomly' just seemed...random. This segment did a good job of explaining some of the motive although I still wish this would have been split up over the course of a couple of months. Twice The MoneyThe thing I enjoyed most about this one was the puns ("eyes as big as dinner plates", "derailed"). Even though I'm sort of getting into Train as a heel, he just seems to be too happy to be a heel. The battle sequence at the end was cool, Train sure has a lot of aggression nowadays. Feed him! ApologeticI really hope Christina has a bigger reaction to this news in the future than this. Coming out and helping Rep after hearing that was only mildly believable, I was expecting a 'blow up' from Christina but we received only silence. I'm guessing that silence will turn to rage and Christina will go after Rena creating some crazy love quadrangle (or whatever describes a heated situation between four people). Crazy Train All Aboard! This is what I imagined heel Train as. I look forward to this feud, and Train is really setting himself up as WHC material. A PromiseI must say that I liked the way Steele spoke before, it seemed more authentic to the character. As of now Steele seems to lack the 'meat' of his character and really only remains a shell to be toyed with.
