Phillip Jones: Ladies and Gentleman, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the A..C...W HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, hailing from Drogheda, Ireland, weighing in at two hundred and thirteen pounds, he is the former ACW Entertainment Champion, and the reigning ACW International Champion… Phillip Jones: DAVE SHADOW!!! "Voodoo Child" hits the speakers, as the lights in the arena go out. As the music builds, several blinding lights illuminate at the top of the entrance ramp. A shadow emerges, the silouette dancing along with the music. As the shadow walks out of the light, we see it's Dave Shadow, with a perverted smile plastered accross his face. He makes his way down the ramp and hops up onto the apron, climbing to the second rope at one of the corners and posing for all his fans. The camera spins round him, as he hops down and awaits his opponent.... Phillip Jones: AND THE CHAMPION!!! Tonight he weighs in at one hundred and ninety five pounds, standing five feet eleven inches tall. He is the winner of the two thousand and eight fallen heroes battle royal, a former international champion and tag team champion. From Washington, DC… Phillip Jones: SENATOR!!! With the grand strains of Hail to the Chief playing, Senator steps into the entranceway, and does a Nixon style Victory pose. He then crosses his arms rapidly as red, white, and blue tickertape shoots into the air from the entrance ramp. The Senator then walks to the ring, staring down his foe before clambering in with the ACW title around his waist. He shadowboxes in the corner, punching the turnbuckle a few times, and then strikes another Victory pose in the middle of the ring before holding his title into the air for all to see. He then passes the belt off to Raymond Allen Fleming, assuming his regular post as the referee for the main event. He shows the belt to Davee, before raising it into the air before passing it off to Phillip Jones who ducks out of the ring. McNally: Two weeks ago these men were partners taking on the team of Dan White and Jack Jefferson, now they are facing off with the grandest belt in the world on the line. Edison: When we return...

Main Event (Credit: Dan White)
Returning from commercial, this hotly anticipated encounter gets off to a flying start, as both men are quick out their blocks. Dave imagines the pair are going into a headlock, but the World champion gives him in a lesson in wrestling, quickly darting to one side, carrying Dave’s arm around his back into a rear armlock. Senator then forces Shadow up off the ground, and the International champion is momentarily under a lot of stress and pain, before Senator releases the hold. Dave angrily turns round, to see a sly smirk on the face of the World champion. They lock up again, and this time Dave is ready to take the advantage, whipping Senator towards the ropes. The veteran rebounds off, and is attacked with a low dropkick to the knee, sending him flying head-first onto the floor. Dave scrambles over to make the first cover of the match, but despite his dazed situation, Phillips is able to raise a shoulder before the three. The duo raise to their feet again, and Shadow is eager to pile as much pressure on as he possibly can. He forces Senator into the turnbuckle, performing a firm knife edge chop to muted woooo’s from the crowd.
But that also proves to be a costly mistake, especially as he pauses, looking around the arena. Because Phillips then takes Shadow, throwing him into the corner and delivering some brutal knife edge chops, some of the best in the business, and the Irishman’s chest quickly reddens as the Senatorial hand lashes off his skin. The champion must delivering about thirteen or fourteen in quick succession, and eventually allows Shadow to stumble out of the corner. Dave looks in a world of pain, falling to one knee as he unsuccessfully tries to regain composure. And the World champion capitalises on this, locking in one of his old favourites, the Rolling Front Facelock. After a bit of a struggle, he manages to lock it in firmly, but the only problem is that Dave’s feet are close to the ropes, and he manages to scramble his feet towards them, prompting the referee to order Senator to release the hold. He does so reluctantly, uttering some harsh words under his breath. Dave slowly tries to get to his feet; he’s already taken some damage, but still looks eager to pull off what would be a very impressive feat, becoming before International and World champions.
They lock up again, but it’s clear that Phillips is in a greater position, as Dave is slouched over. He whips him hard at the ropes, and Dave just hits them, falling to the ground, in what is a rather odd state of play. Curious, the Senator approaches him, but is careful not to become the victim of any foul play. But Dave then slips out of the ring, landing on the floor below. The World champion looks at the referee, who shrugs his shoulders, and he sighs as he begins to follow Dave. He leaves the ring, only to find that Dave has crawled around one side, and is out of sight. The veteran follows, but is then taken by surprise as Dave suddenly launches himself off the steel steps, planting him with a Charging High Knee. It’s enough to generate a pop from the crowd, and Senator looks down and out, as Dave picks himself up, and tries to recuperate. He takes Senator, slipping him into the ring, and makes a cover. The pinfall reaches two, but no more, and this really pisses Dave off, who is convinced that it should have been a three count.
But the referee stands firm, asserting that Senator managed to get a shoulder up, and Dave shakes his head with frustration. He picks the World champion up, and plants a swift, Spinning Neckbreaker. He goes for another pin, but again Senator kicks out before three. This angers Dave even more, holding his head in his hands as he aimlessly staggers across the ring. The veteran meanwhile, is slow to his feet. He’s had a dose of trouble in this match so far, and knows that he has to take the advantage again. He gets up to his feet, and Dave approaches him. The Irishman tries to plant him with a quick suplex, but the Senator manages to land on his feet, quickly turning around, and planting a Release German Suplex of his own. Dave is totally caught out by this, and flies a million miles before landing with a thud. Phillips gets back to his feet, and nods his head with self-approval, as he readies himself for a Washington Lariat. Shadow slowly gets to his feet, and Senator begins his run up. He swings his right arm around, but Dave is able to duck it, much to the surprise of everyone in the arena.
Senator turns around with bemusement, to see where his opponent went, and sees him charging back towards him, wanting to hit his Rebound Lou Thesz Press. But Senator instinctively manages to duck this, lifting Shadow up and over, so he is teetering across the top rope. Realising the situation he’s in, Phillips takes full advantage, planting him with the AIG Knee, and it connects with full impact. Shadow slumps back into the ring, and Senator makes the cover, earning the 1-2-3.
Philip Jones: Here is your winner...and STILL World Champion.....Senator Steve Phillips!

(Title: Pandalerium) (Credit: Chris Phenomenal, Dan White, The Senator, Michael Smart, Rattlesnake, Dave Shadow) Hail to the Chief begins playing over the arena speakers as Senator Steve Phillips is presented with the title by referee Keiji Makabe. As he goes to raise the title however the grand strains are interrupted for the calls of one thing that Senator can’t stand.
ANARCHY!!!!!!
”Anarchy in the UK” by The Sex Pistols hits, and even as the first “Anarchy” hits, the fans go batshit mental as Dan White walks out through the curtain dressed in business casual wear as he looks down at Senator.Dan White: I’d like to congratulate you on the victory Steve, I had my own selfish reasons for wishing you the best, but of course that’s in the past now. 10 days, isn’t that long Steve and I know as you stand there gazing down on your belt that you don’t want this moment to end because you know that come Heatwave, you’re going to be about ten pounds lighter at the end of the night.
The crowd roars there approval for the welsh challenger who can’t help but grin as he stares down at Senator from atop the ramp.Dan White: I do applaud you for beating Shadow though, after going through more than a few rumbles with him I know just the type of challenge he presents. Sitting in the back though I can’t help but think that Ging’ couldn’t have done me a bigger favor by forcing you to go through with this kind of match so close to our match at Heatwave.
As Dave Shadow limps past Dan White, he takes a brief moment to whisper something into the ear of his former foe before turning his attention back to Senator who now has a microphone in his hand. Before Senator can speak however, Dan White begins again.Dan White: Now I know that over the past couple of shows we’ve gotten into more than our fair share of show ending brawls and I can’t help but think that tonight, we may as well continue that right now.
With that Dan starts to walk down the ramp towards the ring as Senator stands unmoved.
The Senator: I would applaud your panache and courage, for daring to rush to the ring in a pointless display of your hotheaded tendancies, but you do so at your own risk. Do you not believe that I would be standing here, bereft of a backup plan, as predictable as your bursts of violence are, you think I would await your arrival without preparation?
Senator looks down at Dan who has reached the bottom of the ramp with a smile on his face as he falshes one of his trademark smirks at Senator.Dan White: Don’t flatter yourself Senator, you can’t honestly believe that I wouldn’t have been prepared for an assault from your friends. In fact, that’s why I came prepared with some of my own.
Almost as if on cue the Royles and the Capitalists come out from the back brawling already, Ivor Biggin facing off with Kevin Fitsharris while Pat McGroin is duking it out with Anthony Kalb. Senator looks down at Dan White, surprisingly not surprised at the occurrence.Dan White: So now that I’ve finally got you one on one Senator, how about we do this.
With that Dan rolls up the sleeves on his shirt and slides into the ring and promptly is assaulted by Senator with a few stomps before he’s able to get to his feet and fire back a blow of his own.McNally: This is pure and utter chaos.Edison: These two have shown over the past two weeks that they can not be stopped from getting at each other. Both men trying to one up the other heading into Heatwave.
The Senator delivers a big right hand to the side of Dan White’s face as on the outside it is Ivor Biggin taking it to Fitsharris slamming him face first into the steel ring post before heading in the direction of his partner who right now is getting caught with a boxing combination from Kalb that inevitably floors him a moment before getting clocked from behind by Biggin as the attention focuses back in on the ring as Dan White goes for a big clothesline in the ring but Senator ducks it and when Dan turns around Phillips delivers a big side knee lift before conecting with his Shining Capitol knocking Dan White flat out as on the outside it is now Fitsharris and McGroin going toe to toe. Eventually it is Fitsharris who gains the advantage firing McGroin into the steel ring steps as Phillips looks on barking orders to Kalb who has steadily worked his way back after the cold clocking, Senator points at the dislodged steps as a platform for Kalb who delivers a big scoop slam onto them as both of the Royles are out. The Capitalists slide into the ring as Senator delivers a stomp to the lower spine of Dan White and is joined by the Capitalists, stamping every part of his body with reckless abandon..McNally: This is a brutal assault on a defenseless man. We need some form of security out here right now or Dan White could be seriously injured.Edison: The Senator knew exactly what was going to happen tonight and prepared everyone for what is was going to happen.
Inside of the ring, Phillips orders the Capitalists to lift Dan White up to his knees before they each take one arm, propping him up as Senator delivers a quick slap to his face before turning back and grabbing his microphone and turning back to his opponent at Heatwave.
Senator: Your arrogance has come back to hurt you in a big way, Mr. White. You dare to speak out against me yet again, you dare to lay hands upon me, but you lack the intelligence, you lack the skill, and you lack one last thing...the ACW World Heavyweight Title, and you always shall remain without it!
Senator delivers a blow to the head of Dan White as on the outside the Royles are still down.
Senator: When Heatwave arrives, you will find that I have taken it upon myself to destroy your career, just as I did to Jason Freeman, just as you attempted to do to me, over a year ago. It will be my honor to drive you out of ACW, continue my mission of delivering the flood as I gather the righteous and the just two by two just like Noah. Watching as those who only serve to damage ACW eventually flounder and drown. It will…
The words of Senator are cut off however as the roar of the crowd drowns it out as running down the entrance ramp is none other than Jonny Hughes, the former Empire Team mate of Dan White. As Jonny slides into the ring Senator and the Capitalists bail out of the way as the Royles begin to get to their feet. Inside the ring Jonny helps Dan to his feet as the crowd applauds as Dan turns and looks at Jonny.

And takes him down with a vicious lariat as the crowd is shocked. Almost immediately the brawl is back on as Senator slides into the ring and the Royles go after the Capitalists outside of the ring, keeping them at bay as Hughes and Senator go to work on Dan White trading stomps and then vicious right hands before they decide to do something a little different. Senator grabs a hold of the leg of Dan White and locks him in the Victory Lock II as Jonny then slaps on a cross face on Dan White, the combined strength of the two men trying tear both his leg and his neck to shreds. Dan tries to fight against it but eventually he is forced to tap but even that can’t save him. Ivor Biggin tries to slide into the ring after slamming Fitsharris face first into the ring apron but is cut off by Senator who delivers a sliding drop kick to knock him back to the floor below.
The reprieve however may have cost him though as the crowd roar again and this time there can be no doubt which side the man is on as Michael Smart slides into the ring and puts a left boot to the back of Jonny Hughes freeing Dan from his cross face as he rolls to the outside to try and recuperate for a moment as Senator turns his attention back to the ring as Smart and Hughes are duking it out man on man with right hands reminiscent of a world championship bout. As Senator tries to intervent though Pat Mcgroin comes in and delivers a big right hand, having shed Kalb after firing him over the barricade into the first row. As Smart and Hughes dole it out, eventually Hughes getting taken over the top by a Smart clohtesline with Smart following the brawl of Senator and McGroin takes over center stage as Biggin and Fitsharris continue their onslaught on the outside, eventually Biggin slamming Fitsharris face first into the ring post again knocking him down as Smart delivers a big clothesline that floors Hughes. Dan White is using the ring apron to recover and sliding in is joined by Smart and Biggin who all focus in on Senator who is taking it to McGroin. Sensing the coming danger though he wisely ducks out of the ring living to fight another day it seems as he backs up the entrance ramp, a minute later joined by Hughes and the Capitalists, both looking up at the team of Smart, White and the Royles who raise their hands in the air looking down on them. Senator however bends over and grabs the microphone previously abandoned by Dan White at the beginning of the brawl.
Senator: I applaud you Dan White, you somehow managed to counteract my ace in the hole, Mr. Jonny Hughes. It appears as if like wine, time has benefited you. I am sorry to say however that although right now you may be jubilant, you have actually put yourself into the age old role of the hunter who became the prey, and as such, I might suggest that you make an about face and stare your predator right in the eye...
Philllips's smirk doesn’t dissuade Dan from turning around and seeing the blur that is Chris Phenomenal as he delivers his devastating running shoulder tackle that nearly breaks Dan White in half as the brawl is back on, Hughes Senator and the Capitalists slide back in as Chris Phenomenal in the full mount raining down heavy punches despite the attempts of Smart and the Royles to pull him off before the Capitalists and take a Royle and Hughes goes after Smart as Senator looks at Chris delivering blows, coaching him on as the brawl takes a turn for the worst it appears for Dan White, the five on four advantage appearing to be too much. Chris draws blood with a big right hand and despite the best efforts of Dan the strength of Phenomenal and the fighting experience over powers Dan until the lights turn black.
Don’t fear the reaper, fear the rattler.
The lights come back on and standing at the top of the entrance ramp is none other than Rattlesnake. Immediately Chris forgets about Dan White and takes up the entrance ramp as the two brawl about half way up the ramp as Senator goes to work on Dan White the brawl reaching a fervent pace as there is now a heavy mosh between the other six men, Smart, the Royles, Hughes and the Capitalists, twelve fists flying in every direction not certain who they are hitting.McNally: This is unbelievable Eddie, I don’t think we’ve seen anything like this in a long time. Not with the Mega Star Alliance, Double Deuce and the Road Steelers. You’d almost have to look back to the entire OCW era for this type of brawl.Edison: Don’t you love it though Maxie, it’s a total display of pure pugilistic intentions! Each man trying to pulverize the other!
As Senator and Dan White take center stage in the ring once again, Rattlesnake and Chris Phenomenal eventually brawl back through the curtain. The mosh has broken up a bit, but that’s aided by the security force who is able to get to them first as now Chairman Gingerdude is standing atop the entrance ramp, surveying the scene.
Chairman Gingerdude: Enough of this. The words of the chairman fall on deaf ears as the men separated by security try and break free as Senator and Dan are still going at it not willing to back down. The blatant show of disrespect to his authority causes his face to turn a nearly identical shade of red as his flaming hair.
Chairman Gingerdude: God damnit, I need all security, road agents, everyone in the back to get out here and stop this.It takes a moment but eventually a number of extra security guards come out from the back as well as a few of the road agents, and even a couple of the fallout wrestlers to help break up the brawl, providing support for the already controlled brawl and a dozen sliding into the ring to separate Dan White and Senator as the Alphatron flickers to life and shows Chris Phenomenal throwing Rattlesnake across the top of the car and following him.
Chris Phenomenal: I warned you Rattlesnake that if you were going to show up that I’d make you suffer, that I’d make your life miserable yet you decided against it. You figured once again that you were a deity, but I’ll have you now that I’m the tonic that could stop even the Egyptian sun god Ra in his tracks. With that Chris picks up Rattlesnake and throws him face first through the windshield of a Red Shelby Mustang parked in the back and as we come back to the arena the expression on Gingerdudes face can only confirm that it is his. As we focus on the ring the security having finally gotten control of the situation allowing the chairman to finally address the masses.
Chairman Gingerdude: Seeing as how nothing I can do can keep you apart from reaking havoc on my show, I’ve decided on a main event for next week. We’re going to have a ten man tag team match. On one hand it’s going to be Team Senator consisting of him, Chris Phenomenal, Jonny Hughes and the Capitalists. They will face Team White consisting of Dan, Rattlesnake, Michael Smart and the Royles and to make things more interesting, I’m going to make the match no disqualifcation, meaning you can do whatever the hell you want to each other, I don’t care.McNally: What a main event for next week.Edison: All I can say is that the road to Heatwave just got a little more interesting.
With that Thursday Night Meltdown begins to fade away as Chairman Gingerdude surveys his empire nearing the brink of catastrophe.
End of Show

- Did Phenomenal just refer to Emperor of the Ring as King of the Ring? - Phenomenal has really been reading up on his ancient egyptian history. That or playing Yugioh. - I like Smart's promo about him not being sure if Panther is Vishis or not, but I don't like the whole - I'm talking to someone else and now I'm going to break the fourth wall and speak to the camera sort of deal. - Great ad for the radio show, for some reason I thought something like that would happen. - Thunder Train's segment with Jake was hilarious. Reminded me of Angelo in a Chef hat. Or was that Santiago? I don't remember. - Dan White's promo with himself in the middle of the ring going through his entire career was a fine promo which he should be proud of. I'm not too fond of long LONG promos (right Freeman), but when it has substance in it - I can't help but enjoy it. If he wins the ACW title at Heatwave, he's going to damn well deserve it. - Rep's funeral could've used Big Show body surving on a casket while it's being pulled away. - Main Event should've been a full match. I was looking forward to reading it. - ...I liked the ending though.

Sorry BK I got an urgent call requiring me to be 200 miles away when I was going to write the match, only leaving me something like half an hour to write it. Apologies also to Shadow and Senator.
