But you don't write the segments until it's time to write them... a little planning does good and doesn't take that much time. I planned for about a total of ten minutes for my potential year long feud with Agent Amazing, with a hazy idea.

Im trying to figure out if Rep is serious or just flaming when he says three months should be the minimum for a feud. Feuds like that should be rarer, like I can understand maybe like one epic feud like that going on at a time, such as BK/Flamingo. But every single feud going three months? That's ridiculous.
I mean a three month feud could be good, look at WWE. Punk/Hardy was great. Jericho/Mysterio was great. But those were three month feuds built on like three shows a month as compared to ACW's six or so. Jericho/Michaels had a long feud and it was great but nobody wants every single feud to be that long and I dont know if anybody really wants that in ACW. Plus nothing would ever be accomplished because everybody would know that the first two PPV matches dont matter, its all leading up to the third. I can see two month feuds, but one month feuds are absolutely fine.

You're wrong. That's the bottom line. Three is short. Maybe if you watched wrestling that isn't for ADD patients you'd know most feuds and title reigns go for over a year.

Three months ain't short. Especially in the e-fed world. Three months is considered a decent-to-long feud in the e-fed world.

No it isn't. ACW is the only place I've been where three months is even close to being long.

Wow at a year long feud that's absolutely absurd.

As long as it's interesting, I don't see a problem with 3+ months, just if it's the same shit, then its pointless.

You guys are getting awfully heated over opinions. Just agree to disagree.

Wow, this topic took a turn I wasn't expecting. And certainly not one thats helping.
I do think that 3 month feuds are grand in other feds. But with two shows a week instead of the regular one, a 3 month ACW feud could be seen as an equivilent of a six month feud elsewhere, and thats not everyone's cup of tea.
BUT! There is no "right" or "wrong" way to do it, and tbh, I'm getting pissed at seeing everyone claiming opinion as if its fact. There's no one way to run feuds. You run them the way you want them. If Rep wants to do 3 month feuds and can find people to run them with, good for him. If Dan and Freeman think it's a bad idea, they aren't being forced to feud with him (like they would have been in GWF; bada bump ding!). I fail to see why this is turning into such a problem though....

I feel that you write to advance a story, and if you need four segs, use them, other times one is enough. I don't write 4 because I know that if I do they will just be boring and three willbe "am beat you down" promos at this time. On the topic of feedback, I normal post one or two passing comments on the chat, but I aim to try and do more.
