“This Lying World” begins to play across the audio system. Smoke fills the entrance ramp as the lights flicker between white and off, matching the strumming of the guitar. As the song reaches it’s crescendo, a figure begins to rise from the ground; Scott Andrews. Wearing his black trenchcoat and clasping his baseball bat, Scott waits till he is at ground level before making his way to the ring. He reaches the steps and walks up them at his own pace before entering the ring. Scott had an ordinary childhood and was a big fan of pro-wrestling. But when he got to high school he became one of the popular students and hung out with the ‘cool’ crowd. He was a part of the High School wrestling team, and so was thought of as a jock, even though he was one of the nicest guys you could meet. He forgot about pro-wrestling for a while. But when he got to college he met a guy in one of his lectures whose father was a trainer at one of the local indy feds. Scott was intrigued and this sparked his interest in pro-wrestling again. He joined the fed and became a regular appearance. After a few years of wrestling and finishing his degree in Sports Journalism, Scott was approached by a National fed by the name of FSW. He was given a Lightweight Title shot on his debut where he captured the title against 7 other competitors in a Battle Royal. He went on to become one of the longest reigning Lightweight Champions in FSW history. His friend was also a regular member of the FSW roster and had joined a few months after Scott. They formed a tag team and went on to win the FSW Tag Team Titles. But after an incident with FSW management, Scott was released from his contract. He left FSW looking to continue his wrestling career. After a long look throughout the country he found a fed that suited his style perfectly. He had discovered ACW. He was given an immediate contract and was added to the roster.
==========================
Since his stay in ACW he has risen up the ladder, and on the way he made an alliance with another newcomer, Lex De La Rocha. The two teamed up to create the Cold Blooded Killers. CBK dominated the tag team division, and eventually won the ACW Tag Team Titles from the Deities of War (Cernunnos and Sgt. Pilko). They held onto them for a record 49 days before having them taken by AK and RDK.
After Samhain, NBK had a match with AK to determine whether he would stay in ACW or if CBK would get a rematch for the titles. An argument ensued between Scott and NBK as to whether it was a good idea, but NBK took no notice of Scott's warning, and eventually lost the match, and his ACW contract. So after losing his tag team partner, Scott is out in the ACW world, alone.
==========================
On the first Meltdown in 2006, Scott introduced his weapon of choice to the ACW fans. A baseball bat with the word 'Lucy' engraved in gold calligraphy at the top of the bat. So far he has only just began using the weapon (see Rawt for example), but it looks like he may be using it as an equalizer in many more matches to come.
After a brief encounter with The Only Reds Fan, and a pathetic argument about who should use the colour red, a feud began. Scott and Red would have two matches together, and the result was one a piece. But because of Tornado's interference and brutal attack on Scott in a post match incident, Scott teamed up with Predator to take on the team of Code Red in a tag team match at Ragnarok.
Scotts ribs and abdominal region were still badly injured during the match, but he persevered through it. After a back and forth of momentum, the referee was knocked down by a slight kick to the face (as ya' do). Red hit the Death Wish (Spinning Powerbomb), but no ref was able to count the 3. But at the moment he got up to get the referee, a man in black, his face unable to be seen at this point, jumped the rails and entered the ring. The crowd cheered (of course) when he was revealed as Scott's Tag Team partner, Lex De LaRocha, the NATURAL BORN KILLER! He got Scott off the ground and they hit the One Shot Kill (Double Top Rope Pedigree/Double Team Inverted Pepsi Plunge) on Red, securing the victory as the ref came to. So now that the CBK have returned, it's only a matter of time before they get their hands on Tag Team gold again.
After weeks of comeback matches and destroying many Fallout teams, the CBK looked on form and ready to take the Tag Titles back.
But at Bloody Valentine, something creepy was going on, and the CBK were in the middle of an eerie situation when all the lights in the backstage corridor went out, leaving them in complete darkness. They had no idea what was going on, but refused to be scared or take heed to any warning signs. And after the main event match, Hunter was dragged under the ring by Angelus Kincaid, and it was now clear who was behind these weird happenings.
Scott and NBK now set out to avenge their stable mate's misfortune and at the same time put Angelus in his place.
After this, Scott was booked to fight Torak. A match no-one wants to get into. But after some inspiring words, Scott was able to go out there and take it to him. During the match, NBK came out and talked trash to Torak to try and distract him. It worked initially, but after Angelus came out and "Piledrove" Lex on the ramp, Torak quickly turned his attention back to an approaching Scott Andrews and delivered the MediEvil Driver 05'. And that was that. But the fight is not over yet. CBK want to get rid of the 'freaks' of ACW, a 'cleansing' if you will. But taking on two of ACW's biggest superstars is not gonna be an easy task.
Amongst all of this, Scott and NBK were awarded a Title Shot by Gingerdude for there recent hard work. They told the world they were ready, and by God they showed the world and captured the ACW Tag Titles for the second time. So will they have trouble with Torak and Angelus in the future? And how long will this title reign last? Only time will tell.
49 Days. And now after defeating both Angelus and NBK in a grueling hardcore match, Scott seeks to capture a singles title to prove his worth to the Senatorial Stable.
After a disappointing loss in his first true singles match, Scott snapped as the fans broke down his usually cool, calm, and collective nature, and he snapped, as has been seen in the past on numerous occasions (see BK London @ Thanksgiving Show). Will Scott be able to keep his anger under control, or will he snap once again?
Yes is the answer. And after a mystery run-in during his encounter with Tornado, it happened once again, but in losing his cool he was able to lock in the Scarlet Fever and make Tornado tap out. Could his temper tantrum's become a winning formula? Who knows?
In actual fact, Scott has been a lot more calm as of late, but that could change at any moment. And after he committed to a quest for the Light Heavyweight Championship, and a brief feud with Santiago Rivera, it wasn't long before his temper came out again after having his girlfriend, Jessie Young, tortured by his opponent. But this may have proved to be in Scott's favor as he went on to win the epic triple threat Weapon of Choice match at Omega Effect II. His accomplishment is memorable and is one that he personally will cherish forever.
After gaining the Championship, Scott was out to find challengers for his title. He issued an open challenge that was taken up by a new face to ACW; Vince Hall. Scott's immediate reaction was to dismiss this non-worthy opponent, but with some convincing, Scott gave in and Vince gave him a run for his money in some memorable matches.
But after a heated feud a bitter taste was left in the Assassins mouth when during their LHW Title Match, the referee, Jacob Jones made a false call and gave the title to Vince after he had clearly tapped out. Scott was furious.
This led to many events in which Jones was brutally beaten, including a very over the top beat down on an edition of Warfare where Jacob was hospitalized.
After sorting out the vengeful referee, Scott was focused on gaining back his title, which he did with purpose and pride at Emperor Of The Ring 06' in an Ultimate X match dubbed the "Assassin's Playground". Scott made sure the whole world knew how good he was and how much of an asset he was to the Light Heavyweight Division. But upon finally winning his title belt, one Kudo Yasuda appeared on the entrance ramp, applauding the new champion. Neither Scott or Jessie could make sense of this sighting, but only time will tell why he appeared.
It turned out that Kudo was impressed with this young stallions work as a Light Heavyweight and that he was interested in recruiting him for the Armada.
After many failed attempts and blatant acts of disrespect from an arrogant Scott Andrews, Kudo was given a title shot at Samhain in a Pure Rules match.
The match was even the whole way through with neither man getting a clear upper hand on the other, but at the end it was Scott who ended up winning via dirty tactics, a blatant spit in the face to Pure Wrestling. Kudo was adamant about getting a rematch, and eventually it was set in stone for Winters Discontent.
Scott thought he could get out of this ordeal by approaching a dodgy law firm known for creating illegal false documents for a hefty price. He had the money, so why not? Turns out it was the wrong move. Scott was found out and forced to reveal who supplied him; Ivan Carter.
The powerful firm owner was well gone by the time police arrived and it was now Scott who had to watch his back as he found a threat note in his office explaining that there was a bounty on his head.
Scott was constantly on the run throughout the month of November, eluding the gun men and bounty hunters by traveling to remote locations and sleeping in his car. It wasn't the most comfortable of journeys, but when your life's in danger, it doesn't matter.
Nearing the end of the month, Scott received a phone call from Jessie, or so he thought. He actually revealed his bus details to Ivan Carter who had kidnapped Jessie and used her to ask questions. Once Scott found this out he was on a mission to get her back, but at the same time keep himself alive.
At Winters Discontent '06, he finally reached the ACW arena, but it wasn't without it's difficulties. Inside, Scott was apprehended by a gunmen who forced him against a wall and fired a round directly at his face. Fortunately for Scott, Kudo saved the day by hitting his Knee Strike a second before the gun went off, causing the bullet to hit Scott in the chest which was protected by a bullet proof vest. The two had a good hearty talk and Scott managed to swallow his pride and agreed to take Kudo on man on man, without foul play.
The match turned out to be a thriller, and it was topped off by an Armada Headband being offered to Scott, who accepted the generous gesture. But Ginger came out soon afterwards and requested Scott come with him, as they'd found Jessie.
Scott was forced to talk with Ivan, who had Jessie at gun point on an upper floor of the arena. They talked about the situation and shared their views, though Scott was trying his best to persuade him to release Jessie. It wasn't long before Ivan snapped and attempted to kill Jessie, but a lucky and very well timed shot from a sniper in the building across from them saved the day. Scott had a change of heart that day, with all the true emotions running through him it wasn't a surprise that a new Scott Andrews has been born, but only time will tell how he will fare in ACW in 2007...
