Well, it's pretty clear that both me and Thunderkiss appreciate the World Title. So either way, whoever wins at Omega Effect will most likely be using your design. Since I don't think tradition should really effect if titles are used or not, especially when it's essentially the champions choice.
And don't get me wrong, Latino's design is nice too and I appreciate him touching it up for me when I asked, but I honestly dig this design more.

Much like Dan, I'm kind of in two minds. I HATE in Indy feds when they just use replica titles but with their own logo stuck on, cause it makes them look inferior to WWE. Thus, I kind of worry when I see old WWE designs having the ACW logo shopped on for the belts.
With that said, I like the World and the ET title designs (Even if the white does like a tad knock-out ish). I really don't like the International one, and there's something about the Tag ones which are off putting to me as well though.
But that said, I think it's up to the champs and the mods to decide which to use.

I disagree, I don't think it's up to the mods at all if Jake wants to use the belt that I made. As far as what belts are displayed on the site, that's up to whoever edits the site... which would probably be the mods.

It is nice to have a set of standardized belts, as most wrestling programs have identifiable belts that all agree on and wear. I think it should come down to a vote also, unless one of the founders wishes to keep the legacy belts.

Alright, first off I will say that I am not a mod anymore and whatever I say is not a reflection of any of the current mods nor is it a reflection of the fed.
Now that I have that out of the way I have to say photoshopping current belts to the point where all it is is just swapping out a logo is... well lazy and un-original. While it's a nice attempt to bring something new I don't think it's the right choice in terms of style. Second, I don't believe it should be the champ's choice of what belt design he/sher wears. If the champ always had a choice of what belt they wanted then there would be no standard and if anything it would cause confusion. There's already enough confusion when new people come to this fed the last thing they need is to see a different World Title belt every other month. I also don't believe that a vote should be done. It's such a small thing that I don't think we should use our resources on that.
Now my personal solution for this title design issue is to create a team of designers. I had this for a while with TNT, BK, and a few other members and it worked out well. So, I say the fed as a whole appoints one person to lead the team and get two to three other designers that work together on all fed design issues. They converse, plan, and decide on where to take the fed as a whole in terms of design. This would range from the boards, site, banners, and titles. The good thing for this is that is spreads the work load and it's not just one person deciding how stuff looks but a team of people that understand what looks good and doesn't look good. If done well it will make for a much higher quality of work and hopefully better designs that the fed as a whole will enjoy. Also, people from the fed should be able to give input on what they feel can change or be different. This way designs are constantly evolving based on the good judgement from the design team.
Now, this is a direct message to Turd. First off, I've seen you in only a few posts and already you seem like someone that is just into stirring shit up. That's fine. That's how you work. But please take this advice. Drop that attitude in this fed and in real life or else you're gonna have a hard life when interacting with any person. As for the titles, while you may think this isn't a mod issue... it is. It's something effects the fed and how people see it. That should be handled by the mods in the way they see fit. Finally, I will say this. Just becuase something is hard doesn't mean shit. If it wasn't hard then it wouldn't be worth it.

Well first of all, I take issue with saying that what I do is lazy. I spend a considerable amount of time preparing each title and just because I didn't use a shape tool to make my own frame, I don't think it's right to call it lazy.
Secondly, if being nice and making banners or even simply stating my opinion is "stirring shit" then I guess that IS how I work. When I tell my opinion I don't really care who disagrees with me, the fact that it's my own opinion should be valued. Everyone else seems to be allowed to share their opinions, but it seems to be convenient to do so only when you agree with each other. To castrate someone for having an opinion and standing by it is simply wrong.
Third, I've had a joyous time when interacting with people on this board. Just because there are a few squabbles on the board, it doesn't mean that I hold any ill will towards any person on here. When I speak to people in private I always have civil conversations. For you to judge me simply based on what few posts you have seen doesn't do me justice. It's not fair.
There is no issue with new people seeing belts. If a belt says "World Champion" you're obviously going to know that it's a World Champion. Proper labeling will end all questions that a person will have. The World Title and the Tag Team Titles that were being used before the ones that I made are almost identical. If that isn't confusion, I don't know what is.
As for the final sentence you wrote, I'm not entirely sure what it means or what it's referencing, and I'd like you to elaborate on that because I want no misunderstandings here.

So from what I'm reading in Latino's post, you're basically saying other people can choose the design of the belt... but the actual champion can't? Wow.

You have to have standardised belts you can't just change them when you feel like it.

You really don't...
I actually even made a World title from scratch that was basically almost the same design as the one I posted, I sent it to Jake and he never even used it, so I deleted it.

Please try to listen Turd. I call it lazy because that's what it is. You just altered an existing image to have a new logo. You didn't take it any step further beyond that. Do I think think you need to use the shape tool no. But I believe you need to do more than just say "oh I love that old wcw belt let me take out wcw and put acw and BAM i'm done." That's the cheap way out. Now as for your opinion. Yes you can have one but frankly you lose your right when you fail to listen to anyone else's opinion and quickly disregard. It's kind of like watching Bill O'Reilly having a "discussion" with a guest on his show. Third, a simple label is not going to fix things. People are still going to be confused and just be thrown out of their element. They'll look on the board and be like why is this belt different every month. Why doesn't look like what is on the site? Like I said it's the last thing we need. As for the world and title looking the same... well guess what they were labeled. Labeled on the belts and the site. Shouldn't that solve the problem? I'm only using your advice. Finally, my final reference is to this. Also... the main reason why I wouldn't make them from scratch is that not only are they harder to make like that and have them look good, but the finished product just looks way too cartoony. My statement means this. If all we ever did was take the easy way in life then we'd never get anywhere. It's through the hard roads that most people would never want to take where we find true joy and success in life. The fact you chose to take the easy way just because the other was hard shows me what kind of person you are. You can make anything in photoshop from scratch and have the result be realistic. It merely depends on your skill level, willingness to try something new, and your style.

So from what I'm reading in Latino's post, you're basically saying other people can choose the design of the belt... but the actual champion can't? Wow. Jake I'm sorry but you may have read my post wrong or I conveyed my message incorrectly. What I meant by the statement is that when the belts are created everyone, champs or non-champs, can give ideas and feedback to whomever is design the belts. Once those belts are finalized then it's kind of done. There shouldn't be any more big changes to those belts besides minor edits such as what I did for you. Everyone should be able to give their opinion on how to improve the title but the champion should've have full say. Or else one month you could have a belt hat is red and another month you have a belt that is bright pink.

Your comparison to Bill O'Reilly doesn't make sense because EVERYONE has a right to state their opinions, and they are doing so. Bill shouts over his guests and cuts them off, meanwhile I'm not stopping them, they have every right to continue stating what they believe, but I will damn sure continue to state what I believe as well.
Guess what, I labeled the titles on the actual title. It's the same thing. If someone is really confused about a title changing they must have ADD. The titles you created have barely visible labels, mine on the other hand are clearly visibly a World title.
Your logic is bizarre. As I said before, I made a belt from scratch and Jake never used it. Guess what? I happen to think that belts "made from scratch" suck. They're cartoony and foolish looking, so I chose to make a title with some actual substace and judging by the response from two main eventers, I think I did a good job, regardless of what people who are disagreeing just to disagree think. The people who are going to use it like it, and that's ALL that matters to me.

It's such a small thing that I don't think we should use our resources on that. The funny thing about this statement is that both me and Thunderkiss have pretty much agreed that between the two of us, we would use the new design. And seeing as how we're anything but easy competitors to beat, I don't think the design would be changing "every other month." Also, there is such a thing as custom belts. Even if you don't want to change it on the site, or acknowledge it officially, people have had custom belts before. Yoko has had one, Train almost had one and I'm sure there are others who have had ones in the five years ACW has been around. I see this new World Title design being no different, honestly.

What I did isn't lazy at all. That comment really ticks me off. I spent all morning making the belts because I thought it would be a nice thing, and then some guy is gonna come on here and call me lazy?
Guess what? You made a cartoon. I can do that too. But I didn't, because it's cheesy.
