Real Main Event: Jake Steele and XS3 vs. Jay Zero
Credit: Chris Phenomenal and Jay Zero for minor edits and ending.
Returning from our final commercial break of the evening, we're ready to see this contest in it's entirety! With the three men now in the ring, RAF is ready to get this one underway!
With the stunning revelation that Jake Steele and XS3 was no more, being replaced by a handicap match with the two former opponents teaming against the ACW Heavyweight Champion in Jay Zero, the parties stared at each other as Jake and XS3 quickly talked strategy. XS3 ducked out of the ring and it was Jay Zero and Jake Steele to start the match. The two circled each other, their hatred for each other seen in the other’s eyes. The two lock up in an aggressive collar and elbow tie up, trying to force the other back and gain the advantage. Zero gains an inch or two, but Steele takes them back and gains an inch of his own before Zero takes it back. The two coming to a stalemate Zero breaks the hold and slaps Steele in the face. This infuriates Steele who charges in and is caught with a hip toss, Zero capitalizing on the recklessness of Jake Steele. As Steele gets up Jay Zero backs away grinning at Steele, re emphasizing that he got the best of his former partner. Jay Zero and Jake Steele circle each other and once again lock up, but his time Zero breaks it with an eye rake, and follows it up with a knee lift that doubles Jake Steele over before knocking him over with a standing Zero-Sen kick. Jay poses over top of Jake Steele as ThunderTrain at ring side claps his hands and the sell-out Meltdown crowd jeers.
Maxwell McNally: This isn’t the way Jake Steele and XS3 wanted this match to start.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Yeah, Jake Steele has come out flat after his time away from the ring.
Jake Steele tries to get to his feet but Zero takes the toe of his boot and uses it to shove Jake Steele back to the canvas. Steele turns over and looks at the man he once called a friend and slowly gets to his feet, waiting for Jay Zero to make a move. As soon as Jake gets to his feet Zero comes in and looks to nail him with a clothesline, Jake Steele however ducks out of the way and Jay Zero hit’s the ropes. On the rebound Steele leaps into the air and connects with a heel kick to the face of Zero knocking him down. Steele lands on his feet and quickly tags in his partner XS3 as Zero gets to his feet rubbing his jaw. XS3 wastes no time in going on the attack, as he enters the ring by spring boarding off the top rope and levelling him with a flying forearm. XS3 covers Jay Zero without hooking the leg.

NO! Jay Zero rolls a shoulder off of the canvas and as XS3 climbs to his feet, Zero rolls out of the ring.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Let’s take another look at that forearm from XS3[/I]

Maxwell McNally: Two great moves by Jake Steele and XS3 have caused a momentum shift.
Back at ringside Jay Zero standing beside the gargantuan Thunder Train look up at XS3. Zero takes his time, climbing back up the ring steps and ducking between the ropes as XS3 looks on. XS3 extends a hand high, challenging Jay Zero to a test of strength, Jay Zero feigns taking the hand and instead kicks XS3 in the gut before throwing him to the mat by his hair face first. With the agility of a cheetah Zero stomps the left leg of XS3, before stepping down onto it as he rolls the other leg over and falls back, propping XS3 into the air in a Mexican surfboard stretch. XS3’s face contorts in pain as Jay Zero relaxes the hold a slight bit, only to rear back even harder. RAF is in position ready to end the match at any point should XS3 decide to give in. Zero appears to have the match in his hand with no escape rout until XS3 tries throwing his hips to the right, this creates a little bit of slack in the hold, and as Zero tries to adjust XS3 seizes the opportunity and rolls back to the right. This frees his right hand enough that with a small push he is able to grasp the ropes.
Maxwell McNally: Jay Zero almost had the match.[/I]
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Cagey move by the veteran XS3 to escape that devastating hold.[/I]
XS3 uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet and Jay Zero looks on and as XS3 stumbles away from the ropes Zero lifts him up into a fireman’s carry and looks for the Zero Darkness. As he starts running XS3 is able to slip off his back and pushes Jay Zero adding to his momentum. XS3 hit’s the ropes looking to finish the match with a Shadow Step but with RAF’s attention focused on Jay Zero Thunder Train grabs the leg of XS3 tripping him up. This draws the attention of Jake Steele who jumps out of his corner and goes after the large behemoth Thunder Train. This draws the attention of RAF who jumps out of the ring and gets between the two superstars, this distraction also allows Jay Zero to take advantage of the match stomping Jay Zero, over and over and over until he crawls into the corner to escape the assault. This however does nothing as RAF crawls back into the ring and Jay Zero attacks charging into the corner and connecting with a Broncoblaster, slamming him with his heavy duty cup once, twice and three times before somersaulting out of the corner as XS3 flops over onto his face.
Maxwell McNally: XS3 had the match in his hands, but Thunder Train stole it.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: That’s why the authority is such a great team, they are always looking out for each other, having each other’s backs.[/I]
XS3 once again is slow to his feet but isn’t there for long as Jay Zero lifts him up and connects with The Crucifixion and covers him

…with the match looking like it was going to end Jake Steele entered the ring and put a boot to the back of his head breaking the pin fall and saving the match. This caused Thunder Train to jump onto the ring apron and trying to duck in before RAF got in his way barring his path as at the same time he ushered Jake Steele out of the ring. The outside interference provided a small reprieve for XS3 but wasn’t enough to shift the momentum. Jay Zero got to his feet as XS3 did and fired a stiff right to the head, and then blocked the counter attempt before returning fire with a right of his own. A third right knocked XS3 back before he finished off The Head Butt, delivering a knee to the gut and then dropping down with a face buster right onto the plated cup. Jay Zero covers XS3 once again.

…NO! XS3 was able to get his hand on the ropes breaking the pinfall at the last possible moment.
”Fast” Eddie Edison: Jay Zero has executed his game plan perfectly. Cutting the ring in half preventing XS3 and Jake Steele to tag in and out.[/I]
Maxwell McNally: Having Thunder Train at ringside has aided him as well.[/I]
XS3 looks exhausted, he tries to roll out of the ring but the imposing Thunder Train is there grinning at the fresh slab of meat. XS3 then grabs a hold of the ropes and tries to pull himself up as Jay Zero looks on ready to end the match with a Zero Darkness. XS3 get’s to his feet and once again Zero picks him up for the Zero darkness, he lifts him up in the air…
