For some odd reason, I've got nothing to do but play Madden today. I think I'm going to tell ACW how I got my start in this little thing we call e-fedding. I remember the date well for some reason. June 16th, 2003. I joined my first e-fed that was hosted on geocities.com. The graphics were terrible, but not as terrible as the roleplays. I remember how I was approached about joining to. I was 11 at the time and I was hanging out in a Yahoo! chat room, because that's what all the cool kids did. Some dude IM'd me and explained to me what an e-fed was. So I joined up. My favorite wrestler, Shawn Michaels, was taken so I decided to join as Test for some God forsaken reason.
My first roleplay was Test coming down to the ring and talking about how ruthless he was because he pump-handle slammed Mae Young. I saw this that night on Raw and decided to do an RP about that. Needless to say, I was garbage. My roleplays looked like a baby typed them. It was equal to a Jake Steele promo. I started fed jumping and getting a little better. I joined places as Maven and did pretty well, winning multiple mid-card belts. It was September of 2003 that my music taste started to change. I was listening to a lot more Punk music (or at least what I thought was Punk) and it showed in my roleplays. I joined an e-fed named CwA (Chaotic Wrestling Alliance) as my first ever created character named Johnny Rotten (not to be confused with Sex Pistols member). I was pretty much just an asshole. It was then that I stumbled upon GWF. Global Wrestling Federation was what made me a decent roleplayer today.
GWF intrigued me. It had awesome graphics and top notch roleplayers. I first joined as Sean O'Haire but later found much success as Balls Mahoney. I learned how to use HTML to code roleplays. I learned how to code graphic layouts. But most of all, I learned how to actually roleplay with some content involved. I began to write Balls Mahoney as a character who was just plain out stupid. It got over with people, but some people didn't like it. I eventually won the tag teams with a friend of mine who played Colt Cabana, while I played Jamie Noble. Jamie Noble and Colt Cabana made up the tandem of Trash & Cash. The guy who played Christian in GWF took me under his wing, so to speak. He taught me everything that I know about RPing now, so I kinda owe him a bit.
I stumbled upon this place by actually using Google. It looked pretty good and I decided to sign up. I didn't think joining would amount to anything and I actually planned on not doing any segments, but ACW enticed me. It was then that I found out that two cool cats that I fedded with before were in ACW. Flamingo and Stark. And that's where I am today. And I'm still bored. And Jake Steele sucks.
