Segment: True Brutality -- Credit: Steele When two men are tested beyond their limits… pushing each other to the brink, with the intention to cut each other to shreds…
Let them. When the powers that be create an environment so destructive… so violent… so brutal… that no matter who stands tall in the end… no one will be a victor.
Embrace it.A twenty foot high, razor sharp surface, reinforced by steel guardings… not made for the weak of heart, or mind. Not made for men who have the need to add a win to their record book… but made for two men who want to extract pints of blood from each other…
And show no remorse while they do so.One man… once portraying the perfect example of a young up and comer… embodying the flashy attitude, with the means to back it up… Now is a broken man. Losing control of his own mind, growing to love pain, struggling with himself to grasp the concept of destruction.
Accepting the Brutality as his now closest associate for the night, knowing that it will aid him to his Nightmare. Losing a chance at becoming International, watching Jake Cheng walk away with a championship, seeing Jay Zero now hold that title… and realizing that only one man is to blame. The man he vows to rid ACW of tonight, and show him who exactly The Real Deal is…Symbolic blood money falls in this mans favor, as he’ll need both sides of himself to defeat this man…One man… the definition of a cold, calculating killer. Stopping at nothing to fulfill his mission. A true soldier of the ring, a true technician in every sense of the word. He carries his kendo stick with pride, and once the lights go out, he’ll be sure to knock you the fuck out with it.
Also accepting the Brutality, but not as a ally, instead he sees it as another challenge, a simple stepping stone to once again prove to everyone who doubts him, that he deserves to be at the top of the food chain. He believes that he should be in Scott Andrews place, and he’ll do anything and everything to show OCW, or anyone that this will not be his final calling card, and that soon… ACW will be purged, by a tactical Shooter.ACW, it’s coming… Two men enter, one man forever leaves ACW, and the other gets that much closer to the top… what will happen, inside of… BARBED WIRE BRUTALITY!

Match 5: Barbed Wire Brutality "The Nightmare" Jake Steele vs. "The Shooter" Jonny Hughes (Credit: Jake Steele) And the time is now. The fans sit in anticipation as the arena lights now shine upon the brutal lowering cage structure. 20 ft. high, and made entirely of extra-sharp barbed wire the outer layer reinforced by steel. Officially insane or not, there is clearly something wrong with both men as they have no fears of stepping into this structure. Actually… they look forward to it, and so do the fans as they begin to cheer once the opening bell rings. Phillip Jones stands outside of the structure and begins to announce the participants. Phillip Jones - The following match is BARBED WIRE BRUTALITY!! And the rules are as follows: Phillip Jones - Introducing first… from Hartlepool, England… The murmuring of the assembled crowd is suddenly interrupted by the soothingly melodic female vocal that begins Spitfire by The Prodigy. The audience begin to boo as the synthesised beats of Spitfire play over the AlphaTron, the lights of the AlphaTron flash in alternating colours in time with the music creating an impressive visual. Suddenly the music picks up in a heavy drum and base beat and Jonny Hughes makes his way out of the curtain to a mixed response from the fans. In his hand is his signature kendo stick, which he holds tightly in the palm of his hand, looking out into the sea of fans packed into the arena. He walks out more towards the edge of the ramp and raises his kendo stick in perfect timing with a burst of white pyro and the opening lyrics of the song. ‘If I was in World War Two They’d Call Me Spitfire!’ Phillip Jones - …he is weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds… “The Shooter” Jonny Hughes! Now Hughes would usually be confidently making his way down towards the ring, casually slapping the hands of some of the fans who are positioned on either side of the walkway, but tonight is different. The look in his eyes show everything as he doesn’t pay attention to any fans whether they boo or cheer, he just stares at the structure and what he can possibly do to his opponent inside of it. He steps right in front of it, and stares up looking at the sharp pieces of barbed wire sticking out. He then walks up the steel steps slowly and instead of climbing the top rope, he looks around at the weapons all around the cage and smiles, getting even more ideas to what he could possibly do.McNally - That man standing inside of that hell inspired structure doesn’t look intimidated, but instead he looks determined and fully set on ridding ACW of the man ready to come out next. Edison - If I was Hughes I would be scared out of my mind, Steele has gone crazy over these past weeks! Who knows what he may do for revenge! Phillip Jones - And his opponent… The signature sound of money being counted is surprisingly as the fans begin to pour out with cheers, which of course is followed by this…
MONEY!
MONEY!
MONEY!
MONEY!
CAKE!
I need da’ cake nigga…
Pyro. The fans weren’t expecting this with the recent massive changes Steele has done to himself, but they are completely rampaging in excitement as smoke begins to pillar up from the side of the entrance stage, and money flies up into the air. Sooner than later, Jake Steele rises up from the stage as money and smoke surrounds him and he holds his head down. His attire is that of what Steele (or any smart man) would wear in this environment: A black shirt, taped up hands, black southpole jeans and a red and black pair of Nike Air Force Ones. He lifts up his head and we see his signature white and gold Gucci shades as he looks out into the ring at Hughes and points.McNally - The Real Deal is back! I bet Hughes wasn’t expecting this! Edison - The money is flying everywhere McNally, I could probably pay my rent, car note and buy a couple ho-- McNally - Hot damn! Hughes looks like he is about to explode in anger. THIS is the Steele he wanted to rid ACW of, and now he gets his chance to do just that. Phillip Jones - …from Brooklyn, New York and weighing in at two hundred and thirty four pounds… “The Nightmare” Jake Steele! McNally - Steele still seems to be using the pseudonym that The Exemplar gave to him this past Monday. I guess everything hasn’t returned to normal within this man just yet. Edison - It can’t be just gone McNally! No matter what he may be saying, or doing, The Nightmare is just beginning! McNally was right. Steele still stands over the platform he rose up from, but now he takes off his Gucci shades and around his eyes are red and black face paint as Steele begins to crack that evil smile. Tonight, no matter who wins, everything will be put onto the table and it’s clear that Jake Steele understands that. He walks off of the platform and makes his way down the entrance ramp. Hughes holds his kendo stick in his hand never letting his eyes leave Steele as Steele does the exact same with Jonny. Steele then walks up the steps and enters the cage, now staring straight across from the ring as Hughes. Their eyes lock as Referee Keiji Makabe tells Phillip to ring the bell.

Edison - AND HERE WE GO FOLKS!
Steele and Hughes act as if the bell never rang, and continue to look into each other’s eyes. Hughes clutches his kendo stick tightly as Steele snickers a bit, which definitely gets a rise out of Hughes. But still no man moves from their spot, as the tension builds. The fans are more than ready for the match to jump off and they can sense that something will happen any minute. Steele cracks his knuckles and can be seen mouthing the words “Welcome to my Nightmare” as Hughes then explodes and charges straight at Steele with his kendo stick but it is quickly dodged as Steele has become “experienced” with the way Hughes like to his now signature weapon. Hughes doesn’t let up though as he turns around and charges at Steele again with the kendo stick, but it’s once again swiftly dodged! And this time the stick gets caught into the barbed wire, as Steele sees the perfect opening. Hughes quickly tries to pull it down, and after a few twist he does, but as he turns around he doesn’t expect to see Steele coming at him with a Wheel Kick! Hughes is caught beautifully with it, but the impact of it causes him to rise back to his feet as Steele doesn’t back up far enough to fall back into the barbed wire but far enough to get a good running start as he charges at Hughes with a clothesline, but Hughes ducks under it and clutches his kendo stick with both hands, slamming it down onto Steele’s back!
Steele clutches his back from the sharp pain of the wood as Hughes tries to get some cuts opening up early in the match with yet another shot to the back! The wood begins to splinter off of the stick, and Hughes slams the stick onto Steele’s back one more time. Steele drops to his knees from the pain as he begins to crawl to the turnbuckle, holding his back and somehow laughing at the same time. Hughes drops the stick and immediately turns Steele around in the corner, and starts rapidly punching Steele with stiff forearm shots, the stiffest shots he could possibly be hitting Steele with as the frustration from the entire month is finally being let out.
McNally - This match has been going on for what? Not even two minutes and Hughes is trying his best to make sure that Steele not only leaves ACW tonight, but he doesn’t come back.
Edison - Plus he hasn’t even utilized the environment yet!
Hughes is absolutely brutal on his attack, not just hitting quick elbows to the head, but pulling them back and literally lunging them at Steele. Referee Makabe steps in, making sure that Steele doesn’t have his nose broken in yet. Hughes pushes Makabe to the side and tells him to back the fuck off, reminding him that he isn’t going to let anyone step in between his path to purge ACW. Hughes walks back over to Steele and goes to throw his forearm with damn near full might but Steele quickly took his time to breathe, and did the smartest thing possible to block Hughes… he hit him with a swift kick to the nuts. Hughes reels back in pain, holding his little Jonny’s as Steele checks his already damaged nose and sees that a small bit of blood is dripping from it, this enrages Steele as he is no longer all smiles, grabbing Hughes’ head and throwing his fist continously into the forehead of the Hartepool native. Steele backs off a bit after about six punches, and he realizes that now is the perfect time for Hughes to get aquainted with some barbed wire.
Steele keeps Hughes up by the head and he runs with him, positioning his head to be rammed against the cage, Hughes holds his nuts with one hand, and uses the other to reverse and instead throw Steele into the cage! Steele unexpectedly meets directly on impact with the barbed wire and cuts already begin to open up, with one possible gruesome looking one forming about 3 inches away from his left eye. Hughes could give a damn though as he takes Steele’s head again and rams it back into the cage, then again, and again, before he pulls Steele away and irish whips him into the ropes, holding the ropes on his own side, and meeting Steele with a swift knee lift to Steele’s face! Steele drops to the mat after a brutal combo, and Hughes pins…
1...
…2.kickout!
Edison - Beautiful combo by Hughes there. Steele is more of the flashy type, he’s going to need to really tap into that Nightmare persona if he has any chance of ending Hughes’ rise to power.
McNally - Either way, with Hughes’ relentless fury tonight, it may be a hard task for Steele to truly get an advantage and beat Hughes tonight.
Edison - Harder than getting Train to celebrate Ramadan.
Hughes of course is smarter and more experienced than to let Steele rest even a bit. He picks the “young up-and-comer” by the arm and sets Steele up for a Fisherman Suplex. He clutches his leg and snaps back Steele onto the mat as Makabe makes the pin.
1...
…2...
Kickout!
Hughes gets to his knees and looks behind him at the turnbuckle, getting a idea. He grabs Steele’s leg and drags him over to the corner, placing him on the third turnbuckle, sitting up straight. Hughes gets fully to his feet and walks over to the corner opposite of that. He then runs at full speed and throws his face into Steele’s face!…
NO!

Steele rolled away just in time, and Hughes’ foot went straight into the cage, as he pants’ denim material gets caught in the barbed wire. Steele grabs the ropes to get back to his feet, as he feels his face and sees that the cut above his left eye is bleeding all down his left cheek. Steele doesn’t take kindly to this in the least as he now begins to introduce the next element of this match, the weapons attached to the barbed wire surface. He doesn’t go for the chair, the metal bat, the 2x4, or the STOP sign. Instead he grabs the crowbar, pulling it out of the wire, and looking at it with a determined look on his face, noticing Hughes is having some trouble removing his denim out of the wire. Steele turns into Mr. Mechanic and he rams the crowbar against Hughes’ non-trapped ankle! Hughes drops to a knee, clutching the back of his ankle in pain as the other still remains strapped.
Steele walks over to that leg, and looks down at it, waving the crowbar in front of Hughes’ face, now taunting him with blood coming down his cheek even more. Steele acts as if he is about to turn away and just climb the cage, but he quickly turns back around and begins smashing the crowbar against Hughes’ trapped leg, as Hughes has no choice but to grab hold the barb wire in pain, as he tries to use his other to punch Steele away, but he is literally trapped and unless Steele frees him, he may never be out. Hughes’ face shows immense pain as Steele has backed off, dropping the crowbar and getting that twitch back in his eye. Steele goes over in the corner and breathes in, then out, talking to himself… almost counseling himself, all the while Keiji Makabe watches to see what Steele is about to do as he checks on Hughes and tries to pull him out of the wire.
Edison - What do you think he’s saying to himself McNally?
McNally - I honestly don’t want to know Edison. Thanks to some quick thinking, Steele has gotten the advantage and he literally had to stop himself from breaking Hughes’ leg into pieces! Even Makabe is being cautious of Steele.
Makabe struggles but he gets Hughes out, and checks his leg, asking him if he think it’s broken and if he can continue the match. Hughes doesn’t even give a direct answer as he pushes Makabe away from him and grabs the ropes, letting his bloody palm drag across the ring ropes as he just says fuck it and tries to shake off the pain from the crowbar shots. He carries a slight limp now but his passion to purge ACW is keeping in the game. Steele is still in the corner, talking to himself and now banging his head against the turnbuckle. Hughes mouths the words “Freak” before he grabs Steele by the head and SLAMS it on the turnbuckle, before ramming it into the barbed wire. Steele shows no reaction except for when his face hits against the wire, with Hughes aiming to make that cut on Steele’s left eye even bigger. Hughes begins to wonder why Steele isn’t even fighting back as he stops the ramming and steps back with Steele, picking him up and throwing him down with a spine buster! Hughes slowly drops to his knees, and goes for a pin…
1...
…2...
….No?
Steele didn’t move, but Hughes did, picking his own self up and stopping the count. Hughes picks up Steele’s head and begins to use closed fist, punching his left eye over and over, trying to smear away the face paint and make Steele bleed even more. Hughes stops, looking into Steele’s eyes and whispers into his ear:
Hughes: No more mind games.
Hughes gets up and walks over to the cage structure, and rips off the 2x4 hanging from it. He holds it in one hand, walking to Steele, looking down at the broken man, with Hughes’ eyes now burning to end this man, growing tired of everything he stands for and knowing that ACW will that much better with him gone for good. But he isn’t just gonna use the 2x4 alone… no, Hughes has much more sadistic plans that that… as he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pair of pliers.
McNally - Those are the same pliers he used this past Monday, when he crucified Steele with that barbed wire. He’s looking over at the structure, and I don’t think he’s just admiring the way it’s built here Edison.
Edison - Oh man, oh man, oh man, oh man! I’d advise that you tell your kids to go to bed right now ladies and gentlemen, because things are about to get even more violent!
Hughes takes the pliers whilst keeping the 2x4 in his hand and begins to cut away at the barbed wire, ripping it piece by piece and revealing some of the steel behind it. Hughes cuts away enough pieces for him to wrap around his 2x4 as he does just that. Once he’s done, he notices Steele on the side of the ring now getting to his feet, but positioned on one knee. Hughes walks over to him with a death look on his face, as he grabs Steele’s face and looks closer into his eyes.
Hughes: You’re an imposter. The real Nightmare is dead. You will never be him! Never!
Hughes steps back and lifts the 2x4 into the air with both hands as he leans against the ropes quickly to avoid the barbed wire and comes back lowering it into Steele’s face!....
WAIT, NO!?
Steele suddenly hops up in Hughes' face before he can be destroyed by the barbed wire wrapped 2x4, grabbing his neck before opening his mouth and a large stream of FIRE into Hughes' face!
McNally - DID HE JUST BREATHE FIRE INTO HUGHES’ FACE!!?!?!?!?
Edison - DANNNNNNNNNNNNNNGEEERROOUSS!
Crowd - HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
The entire arena goes NUTS. After a unthinkable act, no can believe what has just happened. Hughes lays on the mat, clutching his face and screaming as Steele drops back down to the mat and grabs hold of the cage, keeping himself upright while smiling in a odd, sadistic way. Keiji Makabe dashes over to Hughes and tries to see his face but Hughes keeps his face covered as he doesn’t know what might happen if he lets go. Makabe finally pries Hughes’ hand off, and Hughes’ face seem to be fine, but the shock factor of it definitely got to him. Steele rises back to his feet and looks pissed that Hughes wasn’t fatally burned by the fire. Steele then looks up at the cage, and even with the barbed wire around it, he climbs the cage through the inevitable pain. After a few painful moments, Steele is at the top and looks to be the winner, while Hughes shaken but not stirred about the fire begins to see Steele up at the top clutching the cage…
McNally - Whatever you’re thinking… don’t do it Steele. It’ll only lead to more pain between the both of you.
Edison - He will stop at nothing!
Hughes shakes his head confused a bit, but before he can do anything… Steele leaps OFF OF THE CAGE, HITTING A DOUBLE SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!!
Edison - He flipped TWO TIMES MCNALLY!
McNally - My god… neither man is moving after that move Edison. This could be serious.

Referee Keiji Makabe watches on as both men lay bloodied and beaten, and pushed to the limit. Neither man shows signs of movement, so Makabe starts the ten count…
1...
Both men still lay down on the mat, with faint chants of "Steele, Steele" begin to start up...
…2...
More fans begin to chant Steele's name as he doesn't seem to be moving an inch...
McNally - They chant his name, but can they will him on?... Can Steele finally take out the man who has so much against him?
…..3
……4.….
………5.….
Steele begins to show signs of movement, somehow mustering up the strength to crawl towards the ropes…
…………6
Steele wraps his arm around the ropes and slowly begins pulling himself up, as Hughes still hasn’t moved an inch.
…………7..
Steele pulls himself some more, the blood beginning to cover the entire left side of his face, and the face paint is starting to peel off. Steele clutches his gut in immense pain, looking back to see if Hughes is gonna come to, but nothing.
Edison - Steele is almost up! Hughes is about to be terminated from ACW!
…………8.…
…………….9.…
Steele has risen to his feet, and he presses himself against the barbed wire, holding the ropes to keep himself up as the final number is about to be counted.
……………..10!
NO! WHAT!
Steele: Stop it…
Keiji Makabe: What?
Steele: This will end on my terms… not yours…
Steele has made it clear that he is far from done with Hughes. The month of attacks, the lost title shots, the temporary title loss, almost sending Steele into the crazy house and calling him a stain on ACW… calling underserving. Calling him not worthy. Trying to kill him. Break him. End him. Steele walks over to Hughes, but more importantly Steele walks over to the barbed wire 2x4 and picks it up, staring into it’s razor sharp yet wooden surface. He now sees that Hughes is showing signs of movement now, and is slowly trying to get to his feet. Steele continues to stare into the 2x4 for a few more moments, giving Hughes time to adjust and get himself steady again. Hughes begins to turn around while Steele takes steps back, his half bloody face symbolizing that Hughes has forced him to use both sides of himself tonight. Sides he didn’t want to use, but he did anyway. Sides that will soon be the downfall of Hughes… possibly.
Hughes turns around and instead of charging at Hughes with the barbed wire, Steele instead throws it to Hughes, who catches it and mouths the words “What the fuck?”. Steele then jumpstarts and begins running, with flashbacks of the past Meltdown running through his mind. Hughes drops the 2x4 and looks pissed, yet tired as he starts taking steps to Steele, but Steele leaps into the air, aiming straight for Hughes and no one else…
RIGHT IN YO FACE!
Hughes is sent back into the barbed wire cage hardly, as unexpectedly a ring explosive goes off on Hughes as he can do nothing but fall to the ring in a bloody mess!
Edison - OH MYY SCCCCCCIIIIIIEEEEENNNNNCCCCEEEEE!!!
Steele lays on his back, looking up at the ceiling. Steele then rolls over and crawls over to Hughes’ completely passed out body. Steele then rolls him over, and throws his arm over Hughes as Makabe drops to the mat and starts the count…
1...
…2...
……3!
Phillip Jones - Your winner… by the means of pinfall, Jake Steele!

Post-Match Segment: The Last Stand Credit: Steele
McNally - Both of these men tonight put each other to the very limit, and I don’t think the ACW fans could have asked for a more brutal, back and forth, and shock match that they’ve received here tonight Edison.
Edison - I’m still in awe from that finish McNally, it was… it was…
McNally - In the immortal words of Dr. Dre, it was Xxplosive. But now as the structure raises back up, and both of the Makabe brothers, along with plenty of other backstage help are attending to these men, despite what the fans may think about his straightforward attitude, his money throwing, cocky attitude, and as of late his off the wall style, Jake Steele has proved that he can go toe to toe with the best of them.
Edison - Yes. Both men pushed each other to and beyond the limit. It was completely back and forth!
Steele lays out in the middle of the ring, taking deep, deep breaths before getting back to his feet as the fans cheer him, even as he is a complete and bloody mess. He thanks the fans, smiling as they chant his name. Steele continues looking out into the crowd, before he slides under the bottom rope and makes his way back up he ramp.
McNally - Round of applause for the winner as he makes his way to the back.
Now that Steele is gone, Mitsuo Makabe (the doctor, not ref) attends to Hughes as him and other backstage EMT’s help Hughes up to his feet. He looks around at the fans, who are giving him a mix of boos and cheers, now with cheers as Hughes is being held up. Not wanting anyone or thing to be his crutch, he tells the EMT’s to buzz off and he limps outside of the ring, creating more of a response from the fans, as Hughes is going through the pain, taking his last stand as a ACW superstar.
He looks out into the sea of fans, and Hughes, bloody and all has to give the respect back as he closes his fist and pats his chest for the fans.
McNally - He was a man on a mission. The fans of Hughes know he’ll do anything to prove a point, but his own plan backfired majorly tonight.
Hughes turns around and makes his way up the entrance ramp limping but still on his two feet, the blood that is streaming down his face creates a Kodak like moment as the camera man follows him leaving to the back, for the very last time…
He steps through the curtain and makes his way to the back, being handed a towel by a stagehand as he begins to wipe the blood off of his face. Various Fallout and ACW wrestlers alike stand backstage conversing and as they see Hughes walking to his room, a few begin to clap, showing their appreciation for Hughes’ craft and the ability he always showed in the ring. He nods his head in respect, and continues heading to his locker room.
Upon reaching the door, he looks at it for a moment before walking in. As he does, we can see that for some reason he already had his bags packed. He keeps his towel over his shoulders, as he heads over to his bags and puts them on, not worrying about seeing a doctor before he leaves the arena. Hughes then heads out of the door, and to his surprise more ACW superstars stand outside, breaking kayfabe for a bit to bid Hughes a goodbye. They all say their goodbyes and Hughes still not feeling up to saying anything, leaves after and heads to his car, as he fades into the dark…
But like all ACW superstars, one day… one day he’ll return, and you better hope you’re not on his hitlist, cause he will make your life a living hell. And he’ll do it with a smile on his face, a kendo stick in his hand, and the passion of a true Spitfire.
So remember this kids, when the lights go out at night, and you hear no sound but you can feel a presence around you, it’s not a monster, not a beast, not the boogeyman…
It’s Jonny Hughes.
Fade.

Segment: The State of ACW Address Credit: Wayde Russeller Emperor of The Ring has already been a great event that the fans will remember for years. The card for the even didn't seem like much but the wrestlers involved all stepped up their game to make this PPV much greater than it appeared. There are still a couple more matches still to come including the EOTR Final Match and the World title Match. The fans are expecting the EOTR match next but instead Philip gets in the ring. He is reading off and index card and you can tell he does not agree with most of what is being readPhilip: Ladies and Gentleman, it is time for a special State of ACW Address, so please give a warm round of applause for The Myth, The Legend......Wayde RussellerThe fans start booing as Wayde is apparently coming out to new theme music. As the music to "Me Against the World" by Simple Plan starts up and smoke fill the entrance ramp. We're not gonna be Just apart of their game We're not gonna be Just the victims They're taking our dreams And they tear them apart 'til everyone's the same I've got no place to go I've got no where to run They love to watch me fall They think they know it all Wayde explodes out of the smoke wearing his white cowboy hat, jeans, and black cowboy boots. He has the Entertainment Title wrapped around his waist as he begins a swaggering walk to the ring.I'm a nightmare, a disaster That's what they always said I'm a lost cause, not a hero But I'll make it on my own I've gotta prove them wrong Me against the world It's me against the world He gets to the ring and slowly climbs up the steps. He climbs in the ring as the fans are really booing now. He walks and climbs to the second rope and stands there eyes closed, smiling, inhaling the hatred from the fans. He climbs down and grabs a mic and stands in the middle of the ring where ACW ring crew has set up a podium. The lights go off and the only light in the arena is a spot light put on him as he begins to speak.Wayde: Boys and girls, I am here tonight to give a State of ACW address. For those VERY few of you who don't know me, I am....Wayde cocks his head back and raises the mic to his mouthWayde: MRRRRRRRR X RAAAA......... Wayde cuts off and shakes his head No.Wayde: Screw that. I am THE One and Only, Wayde Russeller. I am YOUR Entertainment Champion. Tonight, I am here to tell you all what I think about the current state of the ACW product. After all, even though we are a wrestling company, it is still a product we are selling. However, lately I honestly don't know how we sell anything around here. Before I talk about what's wrong with the ACW product, let's talk about whats right. I can only think of one thing that is right, and that's Wayde Russeller. Wayde steps back a little to show himself off. He pats his title belt and spins in a circle before stepping back to the podiumWayde: Yes, you have me as the Entertainment Champion. BUT, let's face it; I have been champion for 42 days now, and I have had ONE legitimate challenger and that was tonight in Red. And as you all saw, I beat him, DECISIVELY!The fans start a quick, but loud "Bullshit" chant. Wayde goes on ignoring their commentsWayde: I've said it for weeks now and I'll say it for weeks to come, NO ONE is getting this title away from Wayde Russeller. I plan on SHATTERING Kudo's 212 day record of holding onto the belt. 170 more days to break his record and you can bet your damn ass I plan on holding this belt for longer, I plan on making people RESPECT this title again. BUT enough about Wayde for now, let's look at the things wrong with ACW. You have a respectable champion in BK London, who everyone knows, I do not always see eye to eye with. However he at least wears the title with honor, even though he hasn't beaten anyone worth mentioning to defend it yet. How can this product survive without any real contenders for the World Title? The crowd now starts chanting "Scott" to remind Wayde that BK has a tough opponent to fight tonight.Wayde: OH PLEASE! We all better hope that BK wins tonight because if Scott Andrews is the World Champion then this company is gonna flat line like his charisma! Next we have the International Champion, Jay Zero. Now before he comes out here and asks, lets just get this out of the way, No, no one loves you. Except for McKaye which is pretty weird BUT whatever floats your boat I guess. Now, Jay Zero isn't the WORST competitor, hell he beat me, which even though I was distracted, is a HUGE accomplishment. But lets face it, he is WHACK-O! I mean if I had to vote for one man in the locker room that would wind up a mass murderer......it would be Jay Zero. No one wants him talking on TV. Let him fight his matches and keep it to that. Every time Jay Zero opens his mouth on TV, ratings drop 2 points. He lowers the mic and chuckles at his own joke Wayde: Speaking of people who shouldn't talk, we have the tag team champion, The Road Steelers. A team that never even defends the belts, consists of The Boogieman AKA Jake Steele, and Fatboy Train. That is all I will say, because when it comes to them, that's all you have to sayWayde walks away from the podium and the spot light follows him. Wayde: I mean look at this mess we call a company! People quiting and getting hurt left and right, an announcer team that is less then stellar, and two co-chairman's who can't agree on ANYTHING! And everyone keeps waiting for something to happen, waiting for people to return. Hey Thunderkiss came back, and that lasted LONG. Who else will come back to save ACW? Latino? AK? The perfect one Yoko? No, No, and......No. They will not be coming back to raise ratings and bring fans in. And as far as Yoko goes, the next time she is around ACW, it will be so I can end that undefeated streak! What ACW needs now is not a hero from the past, it needs a hero for the future. For that to happen, ACW needs to treat people that work here with respect. He walks over to the rope and leans on the turnbuckle with a serious look falling upon his faceWayde: Let's take a stroll down memory lane. When I was head deep in my alcohol problem, did ACW help? Was ACW and its wrestlers there to help me through my hard times? NO. ACW FIRED ME! Segment: The Big Bang Theory Part 2: The Inevitable End/Clash Of The Titans
(Credit: Scott Andrews)
In a last ditch effort to get a hold of Scott Andrews before the biggest match in his career, Kevin Anderson is out to find him. He walks with his camera crew backstage, but it isn’t Kevin who finds Scott, but Scott who finds Kevin. Scott waltz’ straight up to Kevin.
Scott: I’m glad somebody showed up; I have a few things I need to get off my chest.
Kevin: Well, hello to you too, Scott. Can I begin the interview?
Scott: Interview? I just need your microphone and camera man.
Scott swats Kevin away and takes his microphone.
Scott: Thank you, Kevin; you’re done here, you can go.
Kevin looks rather disappointed and tries to take his microphone back, but Scott holds it away from him and pushes Kevin backwards.
Scott: Now...let’s get down to the nitty gritty... All month long, people have been asking if Scott Andrews is ready to take on a big name such as BK London. All month long, people have been asking “why didn’t you cash it in after a gruelling match to take advantage?”. Now, I could stand here all day and talk about everything I’ve done to prepare myself for such a huge match, and to be honest, I’m sick of talking about it, and I’m sick of people asking. All you need to know is that Scott Andrews knows what he has to do to win. Scott Andrews knows how to beat BK London!
The crowd are right behind the number one contender.
Scott: And as far as my motivation going into this match, it’s quite simple; I’ve been trying for several years to get ACW Title matches, and at Seven Deadly Sins I got a Godsend when I won that contract. It meant that I could have an ACW Title match whenever I wanted. I chose BK because not only is he an icon in ACW, but he’s everything I hate about this business rolled into spandex overalls. I wanted to hit two birds with one stone; win the title and take out one of ACW’s biggest names at the same time, defying everyone’s expectations! It’s not impossible; it’s not just a dream or a hope; it’s real. And tonight, when I step into that ring with BK London I’m going to make him realise just how much blood, sweat and tears have gone into my career to get to this point!
Scott removes his glasses and puts them in his jacket pocket.
Scott: You didn’t think I’d make it this far did you BK? You and your little buddies thought you had me all figured out; but you were wrong. You thought that I would break down after only a couple of weeks of gruelling matches, but I kept at it and tonight will be no exception. I’ve got nothing to lose BK, and everything to gain. You on the other hand have everything to lose. What’s an authoritative faction without its champion? Jake already lost his belt to Zero, what’s to stop the trend from continuing?
Scott smirks before continuing his speal.
Scott: I know you’re quietly nervous, BK, and I would be too if I was going up against a man with no quit in him, a man with the wrestling knowledge to take you to the limit, a man like Scott Andrews! It’s about time someone other than Yoko gave you a run for your money, no? And just because I’ve never won the belt doesn’t mean I can’t or won’t; there’s a first for everything. No-one thought Cheng would win the title when he did. Latino struggled to become champion but was at last granted that crowning moment. What about Senator; he won the title after years of trying. Y’see I think the one thing you don’t understand is that it’s not the belt that makes the man, it’s the man that makes the belt, and, BK, you’ve shit all over this place for too long with your high and mighty routine with your sidekicks and your wish master, and now it’s time for you to be dethroned...BK...enjoy your last moments as the champion, because as soon as you hand that belt over to the referee, it’s as good as mine. Tonight, Scott Andrews becomes the NEW ACW WORLD CHAMPION!!!
Scott looks intense as the crowd cheer in the background, fully supporting Scott’s quest for gold. He walks out of frame to get ready for his match as the scene fades out.
Tonight, all his careers work comes down to one match. All his hopes and dreams of being recognized at the top of an organization and doing it on his terms is the best thing that could happen right now. He's full of drive, passion, and fury, out for revenge as well as glory. This match should be one for the ages, and I'm sure that by the time it's over, neither man will be left with an ounce of energy in their entire body, spirit, or mind. It's Emperor of the Ring, and it's the match everyone's being talking about: Scott Andrews vs. BK London for the OCW World Title.
Fade Out.

Match 6: EOTR Final Jay Zero vs. Dan White (Credit: Dan White) Philip: The following match is scheduled for one fall, and is the Emperor of the Ring 2008 Final!Pop from the crowd.McNally: Well, here it is. The final of the Emperor of the Ring. Both men have had to come through some stiff competition to get this far. But who will walk away with that elusive title shot, and more importantly, the crown of Emperor of the Ring 2008?Edison: It's anyone's guess, Max. Both these men are going to be well up for it, and ready for a fight. They'll give it absolutely everything they have in their system to win.Philip: Coming first to the ring, from Portland, Maine, weighing at 197 lbs....he is the ACW International Champion, Jay Zero!!”Unbroken” by Monster Magnet hits, and the fans go nuts as Jay Zero is about to make his way onto the stage. The lights dim as electric blue and white spotlights shine through the arena giving the arena a very flashy look. Jay then steps out onto the stage wearing white and black boas. Normally he would walk down with a look of confidence and arrogance, but now after his sudden change, Jay seems more "involved." He barely even looks out into the crowd, instead, he just stares forward and walks to the ring, sliding in underneath the bottom rope. Finally once he's in the ring, the crowds attention starts to hit him. He knows that he's got to win this match, and it'll be one of the biggest matches of his short career.McNally: Our International Champion. He had to beat Wayde, Thunder Train, and tonight Henry McKaye to get to this final. And he looks like he's up for it.Edison: He's had the longer break than Dan, and that could prove vital. But I just don't know! He looks good though, but McKaye would have been such a tough fight.Philip: And his opponent, from Cardiff, Wales...weighing at 240 lbs....”The Welsh Dragon” Dan White!!ANARCHY!!!!!! ”Anarchy in the UK” by The Sex Pistols hits, and even as the first “Anarchy” hits, the fans go batshit mental as Dan White walks out through the curtain. He claps his hands, ready for action, and walks down to the ring, with a pretty simplistic light show, and no pyros. He walks down the ramp, and close to the fans, not shaking their hands, but close enough so they have the chance to touch greatness. He enters the ring, where he warms up at the ropes, and climbs a turnbuckle, throwing his arms in the air and beating this chest. He knows that this is one of the biggest matches of his career, and it could well be his last, as he jumps down and gets ready.McNally: Danny Richards, Thunderkiss and XS3 have fallen to this man. And he looks like an absolute mad man.Edison: You'd be foolish to think he can't do the job, but his career is potentially on the line in this match. The mind games will be clicking there. It's anyone's game!Bell Rings

This match is a big match. Both men really, really wanted this tournament to add to their accolades, and they now finally get that chance to. But it'll be interesting to see whether Zero's advantage of having the earlier match will pay dividends. Dan and Jay leave their corners, and circle the ring a couple of times. This is one of ACW's biggest matches in general, and they're both full of anticipation as they lock up for the first time. Neither man can break the hold, and eventually they're forced to break away from each other. The crowd are hotly on the back of both men, with half chanting for the International champion, and the other half chanting for the Welsh Dragon. Anyways, they both look at each other, and after their first initial lock up, know that now it's going to be for real now.
McNally: Well they've taken a while to circle the ring, and this crowd is hot! I really don't see a difference in them wanting either man to win. Edison: It's still tough to call, Max. But I gotta go with my man Zero. He's had the longer break, he's had the chance to rest.
They approach each other, and Dan isn't cautious. He throws several open hand punches into Zero's face, with the crowd going nuts at the general bluntness of how he approaches him. He forces Zero into the corner, with the punches rapidly firing in his direction. Dan then pauses, walks around the ring, throwing his arms in the air like a lunatic as the crowd goes mental. He returns to Zero, hand at the ready, but Zero grabs Dan by his neck, and throws him into the corner. He begins to fire his own open hand shots, and the crowd take the side of Zero as he doesn't go easy on the shots, and Dan is at the back of about 15 punches to the face. Zero ends the punches, but grabs Dan by the hand and whips him into the opposite turnbuckle. Dan clashes into it, bouncing and stumbling backwards, and Zero catches him and rolls him into a reverse Drop Toe Hold, taking Dan down on his back. Zero then jumps up, flying at the ropes and targeting a leaping knee drop, but Dan manages to roll out the way. He leaps to his feet, and the two glare at each other, with the crowd still hot on both men, chanting their names.
McNally: ...Wow. I've never seen a crowd more up for an Emperor of the Ring fial i 5 years. Edison: It's mental, Max! They're going to tear into each other!
Both men can't help but smirk, and they realise that they're in this for the long run. This won't be an easy ride. They lock up again, and Dan manages to slip behind Zero. He kicks him in the lower back, jolting the Portlander forwards and into a doubled over position. Dan grabs him and plants a Bulldog. He rolls Zero over and makes the first cover of the match, but it's not even close enough to finish the match at this point. Dan doesn't fret, instead picking Zero up and looks to grab him by the neck. But Zero counters it with a quick Hip Toss, sending Dan to the floor, which he hits with a bonk. Dan's quick to get back to his feet though, and walks straight into another lock up. Zero attempts a whip, but Dan manages to reverse it. They collide in the centre of the ring, with Dan taking Zero down with a diving Clothesline, which garners a sizeable pop from the crowd. But both men are again quick to their feet, which shows that the two matches both of them were in earlier on didn't take much out of them. Either that or they shot up heavily on speed before this match.
McNally: A lot of energy shown from these two. Surprising, considering the two competitors they had to beat to get this far. Edison: True, but they'll be running on pure adrenaline off those two matches.
They lock up once again, and Zero gets the upper hand this time. He manages to block Dan's hand away, and thumbs him in the eye. Modest indeed. He follows this up with a hair toss, flinging Dan to the ground. Clean fighting, it ain't, but Zero doesn't particularly care, and his fans have come to accept the manner of his fighting at times. I mean so long as it gets results, who particularly cares? Not the International champion, that's for sure. Dan's on the floor, and Zero goes upon ways of trying to hurt Dan some more. He decides to use the good old fashioned method of stomping, and tries to paste Dan into the ring mat with numerous stomps to the chest area, using the ropes as leverage to gain even higher stomps on the former Tag Team champion. Dan endures the stomps, but manages to get close enough to the ropes to force the referee into gear, and he steps in between the two, forcing Zero back. Zero protests, citing Dan as a coward for using the ropes, but the ref has none of it, as Dan gets back to his feet, and Zero immediately rushes him. But Dan responds with a Roundhouse Kick to the chest, which knocks Zero to the floor, and Dan falls on top of him, only to get a 2-count.
McNally: Ooh, Dan was almost lucky there! Edison: The best wins are the ones you don't know about.
Dan didn't exactly mean to make the cover, instead just keep Zero down, and admittedly just happened to fall on him. It would have been nice for the fall to result in a cover, but alas it didn't and Dan climbs to his feet. Zero follows, with his chest still a bit red as a result of the kick, but he seems pretty ok and not injured or anything as they look over at each other. They both get cracking, and lock up once again. Zero tries to fling Dan at the ropes, but Dan reverses it. Dan doubles himself over, but Zero goes to kick him in the face. But Dan is two steps ahead! He darts back a step, grabs Zero by the ropes and plants his trademark Dragon Screw. The fans pop, as they know that this means Dan is fully in his game. Zero sprawls to his feet, but this is Dan's game now, and he boots Zero in the mid section. He grabs Zero by the neck, and plants him with a Face down DDT. He then leaps to his feet, throwing his arms up to the crowd, most of whom respond positively, knowing that this could very well be his last match in ACW (if he fails to win, that is).
McNally: Dan's bustling full of energy here. Edison: He needs the win, and the crowd are like his extra trainer.
Zero is in a bit of a bad place at the minute, as Dan lifts him up. He hoists Zero into a neckbreaker position, and the Triple Take looks on the cards. But Zero is able to elbow and force his way out of the hold, and force Dan back. Dan stumbles to one side, giving Zero the opportunity to plant him with The Crucifixion, a Canadian Backbreaker into an Ace Crusher. The move crunches Dan onto the floor, and is certainly enough to knock a lot of HP off the Welshman, if not potentially end the match. But Zero doesn't cover. Instead, he looks around the arena and points to the top ropes, to which they respond positively. Zero lifts Dan up, and takes him to the turnbuckle. He lifts him up so he's seated on it, but facing away from the ring. Zero climbs up in an attempt to hit the inverted Frankensteiner, but Dan manages to struggle away and push Zero down to the ring. Zero lands on his feet, but the amount he falls sends him sprawling to the floor. Dan responds by flying off, with a knee stretched out, targeting and planting Zero's chest firmly. He doesn't make a cover though, still trying to keep his head straight after the Crucifixion from before.
McNally: Nice flying knee strike there, by Dan Edison: I was hoping to see the Corkscrew Moonsault, but maybe next time!

Dan holds his head, but tries to shake off any potential damage and focus on getting the win. He cares not about the future consequences, just to get the win, keep his job, and be known as the fifth ever winner of the Emperor of the Ring. He picks Zero up, and focuses on Zero's chest, which was just pierced then by Dan's knee. Dan jabs a couple of punches to that direction, but is warned by the ref to keep his fists open rather than closed. Dan loses concentration on what he was doing, throwing some expletives in the direction of the referee, and this allows Zero to break from Dan, and push him back. Zero fires some punches in Dan's direction, and forces him into the ropes, trying to cover up his face and body at the same time, and pretty much failing on both fronts. Zero manages to get Dan in an extraordinarily vulnerable position, and follows it up by lifting Dan up and dropping him on the ropes, winding him. Dan sinks back into the ring, and is suddenly in a really bad state, as Zero looks to end the match as soon as he can. He picks Dan up and goes for the Zero Chance, but Dan manages to evade it, and plant Zero with the Brighton Rock kick, which knocks Zero out for 6.
McNally: What a kick!! Oh my, that was brutal! Edison: Jesus!! Zero's dead! He has to be! Oh man that was bad!
The kick was certainly enough to keep Zero down, and he begins to bleed from his nose. That brutal snap kick could decapitate a man, but Dan is also down, as previous assaults have taken a big chunk out of him. The match is certainly living up to expectation, and the fans, to be frank, are loving it. A chance to see a new Emperor crowned, and two men giving it absolutely their all, and with no cheating involved to boot. Dan slowly manages to get to his feet, and Zero is stirring, but his head waves about like a kite in the sky, and it's almost a medical worry to his current attributes. But he's at his feet, with the aid of Dan, who promptly delivers a crushing forearm, sending him back to the floor. Dan gets the crowd cheering again, before picking Zero up again. He does the same, this time an open hand punch, and Zero is back to the floor. Dan picks him up a third time, and winds his right hand back. He then goes to punch with his left, but Zero manages to block it. And swiftly, Zero turns, grabbing Dan's neck and bringing him literally down to earth with the Zero Chance. The crowd goes ballistic as Zero rolls Dan over for the easy pin:
1...
...2...
...Kickout by Dan!!
McNally: DAN KICKS OUT OF THE ZERO CHANCE!! Edison: OH MY GOD!! Has anyone ever done that before?! Mental!
Zero looks absolutely mortified as he glares at the referee, but he doesn't protest. He realises that Dan fairly kicked out of the hold. He just can't quite believe it. He gets to his feet, still pretty bemused, as Dan suddenly seems to appear fresh as a daisy, as though the kickout gave him a second wind. He leaps to his feet, and forces Zero into the turnbuckle, a reminiscent of the beginning of the match, and with Dan's energy it's as though the match had just started again. He walks out, bringing Zero with him, and lifting Zero into the Spinechiller, which delivers a lot of pressure on Zero's neck, possibly ultimately setting up for the Stunt Bomb later on in the match. He gets to his feet again, picking Zero up, and attempting to lock in the Fujiwara Armbar. But on this occasion, Zero manages to avoid it. He uses his caught arm to fling Dan towards him, and uses his other arm to clothesline him, bringing Dan to the floor with a halt. Zero uses this time to catch his breath, crouching down, but getting back up and wiping the blood from his nose. He picks Dan up, and lifts him onto his shoulders, where another pop sparks....
McNally: Ohhhh here we go, Dan's up for it and are we going to see the Zero Darkness...?
But he's unable to plant it, as Dan manages to struggle and get to his feet. Dan then grabs Zero and puts him in the Stunt Bomb, but likewise Zero escapes with the help of an elbow. He then tries a Dropkick, but Dan steps backwards and Zero hits the ground. He gets up, and walks straight into a Jumping Armbreaker. But this is more than a weardown move, as Dan follows it up with the Fujiwara Armbar, locking it in and getting a pop to boot. They're near the ropes, but the ropes are on Dan's side, and as long as he can keep it that way, he'll become the next Emperor of the Ring. He applies the pressure, but is unable to lock in the leg lock around Zero's leg, which would surely be the end of the match. Instead, Zero uses his free hand to thrash around and try to evade Dan's legs, most punches missing but enough to avoid the headscissors. Dan begins to get frustrated, desperate to fully lock it in, but in that casualty concentrates on the arm, pulling it far back so it's at a right-angle from the socket. Zero is screaming, writhing in pain, but has enough in him to start pushing towards the ropes.
McNally: He's got it locked in now! This move is such a painful one! Edison: Zero's not giving up without a fight though, Max
Dan's not being lenient in his punishment, and he lets out a war cry, showing his determination to keep the hold locked in place. But Zero's face, which is now pretty bloody from the nose, pouring up over his face from the numerous positions it's been in. He inches his way towards the ropes, but he's still got a bit to go. There are ropes just about 18 inches to his left, but the problem is they're parallel to his body, and in between lies Dan. Dan keeps holding on, but Zero's progression is getting pretty strong. Dan attempts to roll over to the middle of the ring, which would surely end the match once and for all. But as he does this, he makes the mistake of leaving the ropes close to him exposed, and as he attempts to roll over, Zero is able to force his leg forwards, hooking the ropes. There's a mixture of relief and frustration echoing around the arena, making a similar sounds throughout, as Dan breaks the hold and lies on his back, absolutely shattered. He knew that the match could have been won there and then, but he also knows that keeping the hold locked in could have damaged his chances as much as Zero's, and he just wasn't prepared to take that risk.
McNally: Dan had to do it, it was simple as that. But he could so easily have broken Zero's arm there.

Both men manage to get to their feet, and it's safe to say that they're absolutely knackered. They lock up, and Dan shoves Zero back. But Zero responds with a Headscissors Takedown, and Dan flies across the ring, colliding with the bottom of the turnbuckle. He doesn't exit the ring, setting the fact that nobody has yet to leave the ring in this match, and he rolls back into the centre of the ring. Zero lifts him up, and plants three jabs to the face, followed by a knee to the gut. He finishes off the “Head Butt” move by Facebusting Dan into his protected groin, and conks Dan out. He makes a cover, but annoyingly for him, Dan's able to kick out before three. Zero grimaces, wiping some more blood from his face and lifting Dan up. He chucks him at the ropes, and uses a leaping knife edge chop to take Dan down again. He pauses, assessing his options, before pointing to the ropes and quickly hitting the Zero Gravity Lionsault. He hits the ropes, bouncing back, and connecting firmly....with Dan's knees. Zero bounces off, clearly winded, and staggers around the ring holding his gut. Dan capitalises struggling to his feet, and catching Zero in the Stunt Bomb, connecting with full force to the hysterics of the fans.
McNally: Stunt Bomb! Stunt Bomb! Stunt Bomb! Stunt Bomb! Edison: ...DAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNGEEEEERRRRRRROOOOOUUUUSSSSSS!!!!
But Dan collapses to the floor. The “Head Butt” and the knife edge, combined with everything else, has rendered him pretty much legally dead. But he's still fighting for this match, and for this title, and he's determined to prove the doubters wrong. He stirs, and rolls up, resting on one elbow. The referee's count doesn't phase him, and he looks over to Zero, whose flat out, like he's been shot. Dan swallows heavily, and drags himself over using just his elbows. He collapses, with just enough over Zero to warrant a count, and the crowd all chant along with Dan:
ONE...
...TWO...
THR-KICKOUT BY ZERO!!!
McNally: Would you believe it?! Edison: Oh my! Oh my oh my! Oh my oh my oh my! This is more exciting than anything ever!
There's absolute pandemonium. Uproar. Dan rolls onto his back, and just looks up at the sky. If there was a god, he's certainly got something against Dan. The referee count starts again, but Dan musters something up to roll onto his side, and grab the ropes next to him, pulling himself up. Zero is the same, and the ropes soon assist both men to their feet. They stumble forwards and just sort of walk into each other, with no damage. They break apart, and Zero throws a punch. It connects, but Dan just retaliates by throwing one himself. Zero then throws a second, and ducks Dan's attempt. He whips Dan at the ropes, and takes him to the floor with an Arm Drag, although the momentum sends Dan up onto his feet, although a bit groggy. Zero rushes towards him, although I say rush, it's still more of a stagger. He grabs Dan and kicks him in the gut. But Dan responds quickly, lifting Zero over his shoulders and down onto the mat. Zero's down, and Dan hits the ropes, performing a baseball slide and attacking Zero's side, anything to keep him hurt and to increase his own chances of winning this tournament. And Zero looks hurt, but he doesn't look out of it. Not yet, anyways.
McNally: Well, both men have fought tooth and nail here, and still we have no winer. Edison: It's anyone's game now, Max!
Dan rests at the turnbuckle, and he seems to have one last trick up his sleeve. He lifts Zero up, and fires a couple of shots to the ribs. He then plants a Snapmere to a seated position, and Zero still sways about. Dan smirks, readying up his foot, and bouncing back off the ropes. There's pops from the crowd as he darts forward, and the 75MPH Kick is about to connect. Only it's not, because as Dan swings his foot, Zero suddenly falls, laying down perfectly still. Dan's momentum swings him round and he falls backwards onto the ropes, looking like an alcoholic who's had a little bit too much, with one hand hooked on the ropes keeping him up. Zero rolls to his feet, looking to have appeared possum throughout that time, and he smirks as he walks up to Dan's face.
Zero: Do you love me now?
Zero smirks, as Dan scrunches up his face in disgust. He manages to unravel himself though, and closely goes up to Zero's ear.
Dan: Mate...piss off, you whiny slag.

Dan now smirks, and Zero's eyes widen, furious with Dan's taunt. But Dan really doesn't seem like in any position to retaliate with violence, and Zero lifts him up onto his shoulders, and promptly plants the Zero Darkness 2.0, adding a Leg Drop to the original move. The ring shakes as he hits it, and the fans are going absolutely mental. Zero is almost at the point of passing out, but he retains enough to hook a leg, and hear the referee slamming the mat:
ONE...
...TWO...
...THREE!!!
Philip: Here is your winner, and EMPEROR OF THE RING 2008...JAY ZERO!!!
McNally: He's done it! Jay Zero has done it! Edison: ZERO'S THE EMPEROR OF THE RING 2008!!
”Unbroken” hits again, but it can hardly be heard as the fans cheer for Zero's tournament win. He rolls off and just sits there next to Dan, trying to take it all in. Jay Zero. Emperor of the Ring 2008. To add to the International title he recently won, it's been an awesome last couple of weeks for the man who only made his début 18 months ago. And there's a great future for this man, who now owns a title shot whenever he sees fit, and there's surely only one title that he's going to be eyeing up. Whoever is the champion when Zero cashes in is going to have to watch their back, because this is surely a man who, be it in a month or in a year, will one day be ACW World Champion.
For Dan, this drops him in a pit of uncertainty. Will he stay? Will he join Fallout? Will he quit forever? It seems that the wrestler's poll is going to come into action after all, and it's going to be interesting to see which way they voted. But he came so close, after a month of really trying to motivate himself up to the point where he could stand up and stake his claim as one of THE wrestlers of the federation. He was unable to win the tournament like he promised to, but he did come so damn close, and surely that has to be good enough?
There are a lot of questions, but this night is Zero's night. He gets to his feet, his arm thrown up by the referee, who also hands him his International Title. The fans give him a standing ovation as he wipes the remaining wet blood from under his nose. He walks towards the ropes, climbing through and making his exit. He doesn't look at Dan – after all, he was just an opponent in this match, not a foe – and makes his way up the ramp, arms aloft, as the Emperor of ACW 2008.

Match 7: OCW Heavyweight Championship BK London vs. Scott Andrews
Phillip: This main event is scheduled for one fall, and is for the OCW Heavyweight Championship...
Quite a reaction from of the crowd, one of the few contests besides the EOTR that they have been looking forward to all night.
"Anasasis/Xenophontis” begins to play across the audio system. Scott Andrews walks out to a roar of cheers from the fans. He strolls onto the entrance ramp with a look of intensity on his face and raises his arm as Philip mentions his name. As he continues walking just past the main part of the ramp he stops and performs a Goldberg-esque ramp taunt, throwing air punches and kicks while white and red pyros boom behind until his flurry of shadow strikes end. Scott keeps walking until he reaches the apron. He slides in under the bottom rope and immediately gets to his feet. Climbing the turnbuckle, he looks into the audience and raises one arm rapidly whilst yelling inaudible, yet obviously 'psyche up' comments. He jumps down and punches the air a few times before taking off his jacket and waiting for his opponent - the opponent who he has been looking forward to facing since August 2nd.
"Hello Goodbye" by Lupe Fiasco hits the sound system at full force and the ACW fans boo the once fan favorite from the borough of Brooklyn. Sure enough, the OCW Champion makes his way through the curtain and onto the stage where he surveys the thousands of fans in the arena - all insulting or jeering him in one way or another. He chuckles to himself a bit before making his way down the long ACW ramp, returning insults to the fans ringside. He finally makes his way to the ring where he slides in before perching himself up on the middle rope and hitting a pose for the thousands of fans in the audience. As the flashbulbs go off all around him, they still continue to boo the OCW Champion - but BK London takes it all in stride. He hops down from the middle turnbuckle and look across the ring at Scott Andrews. Mr. Andrews shows no fear in returning the glare back to the OCW Champion, and BK London simply smirks.
BK hands his belt over to referee Raymond Allen Fleming, who now makes his way in between the pair. Phillip steps to the middle of the ring as well.
Phillip: The challenger, weighing in at 233lbs from Tampa Bay, Florida, he is a two time Light Heavyweight Champion, two time Tag Team Champion, and the winner of the Seven Deadly Sins match 2008 – “The Scarlet Assassin” Scott Andrews!
Andrews raises his arms as the crowd showers him with approval and praise, and he now returns back to staring at BK London from across the ring.
Phillip: And his opponent, weighing in at 243lbs from Brooklyn, New York, he is the first ever Grand Slam Champion in ACW history – AND the current OCW Heavyweight Champion, representing OCW, BK London!
Not even raising his arms to the crowd, BK London continues staring across the ring at Scott Andrews – who is looking at BK London’s title. The crowd showers BK London with the complete opposite reaction, massive heat and jeers.
RAF holds up the OCW Heavyweight Champion, signifying it’s for the belt, and after displaying it to all four sides, he hands it over to the timekeeper so this battle can commence.
The Bell rings
The two bulls make their way to the center of the ring, and quickly the two lock up in a fierce and aggressive collar elbow tie up. Attempting to push one another to the other side of the ring, while BK London does have a small weight advantage of about 10 pounds, it’s an absolute stalemate between the two. Both men release their collar elbow tie ups, and briefly stare at each other again before locking up once more. This time, BK London latches on a side headlock, which is countered into a rear hammerlock by the Scarlet Assassin. Attempting to take him down with a snapmare, BK reaches for Scott’s head – but the in ring veteran manages to pull his head back from BK’s reach. London now looks to sweep the legs, but once again, they are two far for London to grab to get himself out of this maneuver. Scott now latches on a side headlock and looks for the takedown, but BK London blocks it by placing his leg in front of Scott’s. Pushing Andrews into the ropes, the challenger comes off and attempts to take BK down with a shoulder block but neither man is knocked down. BK now bounces off the ropes and he attempts to take Scott down with a shoulder block, but Scott manages to keep his footing. Both men simultaneously bounce off opposite ropes and look for shoulder blocks, and knock each other down in the process.
They two spring back to their feet almost instantly, and Andrews looks for a clothesline – but BK London manages to duck under it. Turning around, BK laces Scott with a slap across the face that’s heard throughout the arena. BK smirks, but the smile is slapped right off his face once Scott responds with an open palm of his own.
BK holds his cheek in pain, stumbling backwards into the ropes, and Scott continues to pummel the champion with a flurry of rights before whipping him across the ring. London comes off the ropes and Andrews attempts a hip toss – but BK manages to shift his body to counter it into a Monkey Flip. Andrews however lands right on his feet, in a Shelton Benjamin esque manner, and once BK gets up and turns around – he’s surprised when he sees Scott right there in front of him.
In that moment of surprise, Andrews takes advantage with a drop toe hold and he quickly goes for The Scarlet Fever. He manages to get BK’s leg in the maneuver, but once he goes for the face lock – BK blocks it and quickly thrashes around while making his way to the ropes. BK grabs onto the ropes as if it were a life saver, and quickly RAF pulls off Scott from BK London – and the champion rolls under the bottom rope to escape the onslaught. Holding his nose, checking if there is any blood from the drop toe hold and the submission attempt, BK keeps his distance from Scott – but not for long. Not wasting any motion, Andrews catches BK London from behind with a Baseball Slide. The Grand Slam Champion is launched into the barricade at a very high velocity, and connects sternum first. Andrews rolls out of the ring and picks up BK before dropping him chest first on the top of the barricade, putting him in a whole new world of hurt. BK London holds his chest in pain, and he now attempts to create some distance between himself and Andrews – but it’s not happening at all.
The Scarlet Assassin tosses BK London back in the ring, and slides back into the ring himself but is the recipient of a stomping from the champion. BK, who managed to muster up enough energy to get up, proceeds to kick the living hell out of Scott – and then gets down on his knees to clobber him with a flurry of forearms. Getting back up, BK London bounces off the ropes and plants him in the chest with a massive elbow. Getting back up again, BK bounces off the ropes one more time to go for the elbow, but BK London is tripped once more and the Scarlet Fever is once again attempted. Looking to get in the Cobra hold, Scott pummels the back of BK London’s neck, but BK fights back with some huge elbows to the jaw as well. BK eventually makes his way towards the ropes again, which forces Andrews to break the hold.

For the second time early into this match The Scarlet Fever has been evaded by BK London, and it’s not exactly something that Andrews is too crazy about. Going over to BK, he delivers a few elbows of his own to London and now picks him up. Whipping BK into the corner, Scott races towards him to follow up with a clothesline, but BK springs out of the corner and manages to catch the challenger in a huge Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker. Screaming out in pain, Andrews clutches his lower back while rolling around on the mat. Seeing his open opportunity, BK quickly makes his way onto the apron and ascends the top rope from an impact maneuver. London dives off for a massive elbow drop, but Andrews manages to get his knees up and it connects with the elbow of BK. BK rolls around, screaming and holding his arm in pain, and with his back still injured – Andrews knows he has to take advantage. Andrews makes his way back up and he begins working over the arm of BK London, holding it in place on the mat before driving his knee right into the joint. Andrews hits it repeatedly until he now looks to lock in the Fujiwara Armbar – but BK manages to roll forward and out the move.
Both manage to get up at the same time, but it’s BK London who makes the first move and takes Andrews down with a double leg take down and goes for a jackknife pin.
ONE . . TWO . KICK OUT!
Andrews frees himself, but once he gets up he’s brought back down to the mat with a Step Up Enziguri that was too quick for him to see coming. Both men fall to the mat, and BK favors his arm but doesn’t at all forget about the back of Andrews. Picking up Andrews, he irish whips him across the ring into the corner – and his back hits the turnbuckle quite hard. The Scarlet Assassin groggily walks out of the corner, and BK thrusts him back into the unforgiving turnbuckles with a spear. Continuing to deliver shoulder thrusts to the abdomen, BK now sits Andrews up on the top rope to further bring an end to the match. A extremely stiff blow cold cocks Scott Andrews for a moment, and BK now ascends to the middle turnbuckle. Putting him in the suplex position, BK looks for the high impact maneuver but Scott doesn’t exactly see things his way. Andrews manages to grab the top rope and he begins connecting with punches to the ribs of the current OCW Champion. The crowd begins cheer for Andrews, and after a few punches to the grill and a major headbutt – BK London drops off the top rope down to the canvas below. Holding his back in pain, BK London slowly begins to get up and Andrews now positions himself up on the top rope. Holding his back momentarily, he shows he’s still in pain, but he throws caution to the wind and looks to fly high thus far.
He goes for his Heatseeker, a move that has cost many their matches against Scott – but BK London has managed to scout that move and he evades it at the last second. Like a cat, Andrews manages to land on his feet upon landing – but tweaks his knee upon hitting the mat. The No.1 Contender turns around, only to receive a kick to the abdomen and BK goes for the move that has ended many a match – The Revolver. Andrews counters it, pushing BK London into the turnbuckle – but BK London manages to stop himself before he collides full on with the turnbuckle.
London turns around and now Andrews races towards the corner, looking to connect with a move, but BK London launches him in the air. However, in one leap, Andrews manages to jump to the top rope and he scores with a Suisalt. It takes down BK London, and Andrews hooks both legs.
ONE . . TWO . . T-KICK OUT!
Scott can’t believe that wasn’t a three, but instead of arguing with the referee, he returns to the match at hand and begins pummeling his opponent with a set of right hands. Picking up BK London, he rests him on the ropes and wraps his arm around it – applying pressure to the injured arm. BK screams in pain, but eventually uses his free arm and manages to deliver a punch right to the nose. Stumbling away, Scott Andrews holds his nose in pain, but as BK London approaches him, Andrews decks him with a huge right hand that sends BK London stumbling out of the ring. The crowd cheers for Scott, and now Andrews looks to exit the ring – but smartly BK sweeps the legs from right under Andrews. Scott’s back hits the apron, and BK takes this time to catch a much needed breather. He now pulls Andrews down to the ground with him and holds him up in a scoop slam position. Slamming him hard into the mat below, BK London continues to work on the back of the champion. A smile breaks across the face of BK London, but it quickly turns into a much more serious look as BK London picks up Scott and tosses him back into the ring. A series of elbows are planted square into the back of the challenger, continuing the lower back assault, and now London hits another scoop slam in the center of the ring. With Andrews down, and not moving a lot, BK London makes sure to position himself in the corner.
To the crowd’s dismay, he begins stomping on the mat – using the famous HBK’s tuning of the band, and the fans know what is coming. It’s very apparent now that BK London wants to end the match up right here, so he continues to tune the band. Scott Andrews slowly begins to get up, a bit wobbly, and holding his back from the pain. With Andrews to a vertical base, BK London launches himself out of the corner to hit the Shades of Michaels – but Andrews delivers a drop toe hold and he once again goes for the Scarlet Fever. He’s got the legs locked in, and now goes to latch in the Cobra Hold and he gets it in for the first time in the match thus far after two previous attempts. BK London flails around, trying to get to the ropes – but he looks to be fading out due to the submission maneuver. The crowd is going absolutely bananas, and Scott can feel the match in his hands. London uses his one free hand to pull him, and Andrews, towards the ropes – and he manages to grab onto it surprisingly. This ignites quite the amount of boos from the fans in attendance. Andrews is forces to release the hold, but he pulls BK London right back into the middle of the ring to attempt to latch in the move one more time – but BK London rolls on his back and kicks Andrews right off. Andrews offense is negated at this time, and BK manages to roll under the bottom rope right onto the apron. Using the ropes to help him up, BK hopes to think of an opportunity to regain the advantage in this match – but he is hit with one of the more surprising high impact moves of the night.
