BK smirks at the crowd’s reaction and slaps his own chest to try and get a chant going in his honor, but the deep chorus of boos is all that’s there to greet him. He says something to the fans at ringside about having bad taste before turning to lock up with the Senator as Stark finds his spot in the corner. They grapple for a few seconds before Senator gains the upper hand with a Side Headlock, but BK is more impulsive than the other former champion and backs into the ropes to shoot him toward the others to rush forward and drive a shoulder into the other man’s. Neither budge, though BK has the obvious weight advantage, and he challenges the other man to do the same off the other ropes. He is obliged, and they collide again to the crowd’s approval. They try once more, but as BK goes for a Back Body Drop Senator kicks him in the chest and then catches him on the upswing with a big elbow to the side of the head. London staggers a bit, enough to make distance, and Senator uses that to his advantage and follows his move up with a Judo-inspired Shoulder Throw that he rapidly attempts to swivel into a Cross Armbreaker from. BK sees this coming a mile off and turns to his knee to get out of it, he stumbling back and cursing under his breath before letting Phillips back to his feet, the crowd cheering for the hero. BK tags in McKaye then, having had enough for the time being, and the God of War hops into the ring over the middle rope to face the Senator himself. They circle, but McKaye will have none of that and just knees the older man in the gut and then tosses him over with a Gutwrench Suplex. He floats over to one knee while Senator’s trying to get his bearings and gives him a stiff slap to wake him up, moving to stand as the crowd boos soundly. Senator blinks, then glares for a second and storms to his feet to go after the back of his opponent to push him into the enemy corner. He tags in Zero, who comes in and teams with his teammate to sling McKaye into the ropes and deliver an impromptu tandem Back Body Drop as if to show BK how to do it. McKaye comes to a seated position, and Senator tees off on his back with a stiff Soccer Ball Kick that sends him rolling to the side holding his spine.
Zero pursues him to haul him to his feet as Senator finds the apron once more, and Jay doesn’t waste time in getting as much capitalism into place as possible by going for a Suplex. McKaye counters it and lands back onto his feet, stalling it out again and then pulling out of it with an arm captured to bring him down with an STO. He follows that with a quick pin attempt that only barely makes it to two, he then yanking the kid up by his short hair to go for it again to make due with what he has. Zero drops out of the attempt, McKaye stumbling before turning around straight into a kick flush to the face that sends him to the balls of his feet with his head thrown back. Zero takes off, coming off the ropes with a thunderous shout to leap through the air and bring McKaye down but good with a snapping Neckbreaker Drop. He goes for the pin himself, it also barely getting a two, McKaye sitting up and trying to shake the cobwebs loose as the young’un pulled a fast one on him that he didn’t expect. Zero knows he rang the veteran’s bell pretty well, he then sizing him up as he goes to stand.
He locks in a tight Cravate hold that he wrenches for all he has, but McKaye being the crafty vet he is simply backs toward his own corner and Starkweather makes the blind tag before reaching in himself to pull Zero over to him even as he still has the Cravate attached. He elbows Zero in the side of the head, hard, and the hold is released as Zero clutches the side of his head and turns flush into a knee to the stomach and a Guillotine Drop that bounces him back to land hard on the mat. Starkweather calmly steps into the ring after that, the crowd’s boos drowning out most anything to be heard at the moment. As Jay comes to one knee he receives a well-sized knee to the temple that sends him sprawling, and Senator shouts and attempts to help his teammate. BK shouts and points the ref at the distraction before hopping into the ring himself and helping Stark to deliver a tandem elbow to the sides of the head, and then a tandem Chop Block to hobble their opponent. BK rolls out of the ring in time for the ref not to catch him, and all the official sees is Starkweather then applying a rather deep Fujiwara Armbar.
He looks pointedly at Senator during this, for reasons obvious to longtime watchers, and Senator’s thinning patience snaps apart and he charges into the ring before the ‘good doctor’ can injure another wrestler with that hold, stomping him in the chest and then laying into him with a short series of forearms. Zero manages to get out from under them as Andrews comes in as well to deal with McKaye and London, who come in to defend their own partner. There’s a brief crush of bodies together, but eventually it gets sorted and Starkweather is made to break the hold. The parties are forced to their corners, and Zero is left with Stark once more. He shakes his arm loose and tries to find some way to attack his opponent who even now stalks him toward a neutral corner. Zero tries to feint and deliver a kick but it is caught and pulled forward to shove him into the turnbuckle. Stark climbs up, clinches his arm and then swings out to deliver a hard Tornado Armbreaker that sends Zero rolling for the ropes. Before he can leave his foot is caught, and he is pulled to his feet to be shoved into the OCW corner McKaye is tagged in. They work on Zero with chops and kicks, the crowd loudly jeering and booing, and they whip him into the opposite turnbuckle. McKaye charges in first but doesn’t react quickly enough to the more aerial Zero to bounce off the second rope and turn mid-air to plow him almost inside-out from his momentum with a Spear! The crowd jumps up as he does, Stark growing incensed and coming in himself at a rising Zero who ducks a knee to the face from his position. Stark stalls out with his chest to the turnbuckle, and he turns just in time to catch Zeros legs around his head that turn and fling him head-first into the second turnbuckle with a Flying Headscissors!
