Segment: Last Bump in the Road (Credit: Skurai/BK)
The scene opens with BK London walking into the parking lot with his bag over his shoulder. As he makes his way toward his car a loud crashing sound can be heard. BK quickly drops his bag and looks around.
BK: Skurai! I know you’re here!
Skurai: You’re getting to know me pretty well.
BK swings around to see Skurai leaning on his car.
BK: Haven’t we fought enough for today? I mean your antics are getting rather stale.
Skurai: It’s rather hard for me not to do this. You see this is all I know how to do. I haven’t accomplished anything else besides fighting. My life is just one fight to the next.
BK: Seems like a rather meaningless existence.
Skurai: Oh it is. Knowing that the only thing you can ever accomplish is through bloodshed but I don’t care. If this is the only thing I am good at fine. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. At least I enjoy what I do. For a while I forgot that this what I truly love to do.
BK: Is there a point to this rambling or are you going to just stop mid-sentence and attack me?
Skurai lets out a small chuckle.
Skurai: I thought about doing that at first but then I decided against it. BK at Spring into Hell I had no intent of making a return but the moment I threw you out of that window it all came back to me. The thrill of the fight. BK, I won’t attack you now because I want you at your best for Omega Effect. I want you to show me that I made the right decision by returning. Do whatever it takes to beat me on Sunday as I will do the same.
BK starts to burst out laughing.
BK: Skurai, at Omega Effect I am going to fucking murder you not for me to prove anything to you. I am doing it just to show how much of a failure you are, if it takes my own blood I will do so, I will put my life and body on the line, I will push your body and mine to the limit it has never gone before...you should have given up a long time ago and I am going to show the world that. So now you can just get the fuck out of my way.
Skurai: That is what I want to hear.
With that Skurai steps away from the car. BK slowly picks up his bags as he walks cautiously to his car. As BK is about to leave Skurai knocks on the window. BK rolls down the window as Skurai sticks his head in.
Skurai: One more thing BK. You had better have a fucking miracle doctor because I am going to send you to him on the verge of death.
BK quickly rolls up the windows as Skurai gets his head out. The car backs and drives off with Skurai left standing alone in the parking lot as the scene fades.

Segment: Breakdown (Credit: Rose)
Guilt is perhaps the most painful companion to death --Coco Chanel
The scene opens in the locker room of Alexandra “The White Rose” Kaesar and it looks like she has been in here the entire night. She sits on a chair in the center of the room and looks like a nervous wreck. Her eyes are red with tears and her usual confidence is gone. She is going through something that none of us can fully imagine. She doesn’t even look like she wants this interview, but it was probably thrust upon her.
Rose: I’ve said all I think I can say about what has gone on between us Ridley. I feel…….I don’t really know what I feel now. I feel a tense almost smothering sadness engulfing my soul. I feel that way because I know that after Omega Effect, a small part of my heart will die with you. I have let go of you for some time now, but I can never undo what I felt when we were together.
She puts her head into her hand and just sits there for a few seconds. She is obviously not herself tonight and no one can really make out what kind of mindset she is in. It is the strangest thing that many of the long term ACW fans have seen.
Rose: I feel a great deal of dread now and in many ways I dread my fate. I may have to sin in order to cleanse my soul… to attain my redemption. How very odd that is, we are taught in our early years that two wrongs don’t make a right, but I have learned long ago that right and wrong are in the eyes of the beholder. In the end, only our only judge will be The Lord and he will surely see why I have acted as I have. I have had many, many nightmares about our upcoming confrontation this Saturday and each time, I wake up in a cold sweat wondering if I have chosen the right path and each time I assure myself that I have. I tell my self over and over that I have to put an end to your horrible life….
If the fans didn’t know any better, they would think that Rose was inebriated, but they cannot tell what is wrong with her. It is very probably fear mixed with a great deal of personal sorrow and a great deal of loneliness.
Rose: Then I remember just how you felt and then I slowly cry myself back to sleep. Don’t think I will feel an overjoyed sense of victory when I finally finish you off, because I won’t. I will mourn for you as easily as I hated you and I guess that’s the special part of our hatred. It is a hatred that is still wrapped in the love of the past, we both want those days to return and we realize that they can never be…….
She begins to cry and she speaks her next few lines as she sobs.
Rose: I feel so odd now and it is something that I am trying to describe, but I just can’t. I am feeling things that have been buried for some time and at the same time I know what I must do.
She pauses, but she does not stop sobbing and stares blankly into space.
Rose: I just wish that I……
She thinks very deeply for a second or two, but then she buries her head in her hand again.
Rose: No, I shouldn’t wish for things that I don’t really want….
She looks at the camera and addresses these next few lines towards Ridley and needless to say, they throw the viewing audience for another loop.
Rose: It’s painfully obvious, isn’t it? I am not as good at my charade as I used to be and I have become such an emotional wreck. You know that I am not sure of anything anymore. I know that it makes you happy to see me reduced to such a weak state. The only thing I have left is to finish what I started and then I have absolutely nothing left in my life. To save my self from an eternity in Hell, I must spend the rest of this life in a Hell of my own making.
Rose’s gaze does not go from the camera and she looks almost like she is saying…..her final goodbye.
Rose: I can’t make any promises about the Industrial Revolution, save for one…. .., but you know what that is, don’t you Ridley. You’ve made the same promise, so it seems that we agree in one area, one of use will die…
Fade out.

Match 9: Wyvern as Special Ref Yoko vs. Mystery Opponent (Ending events credit: Yoko)
The scene returns to the arena; crew are still all over the place, clearing up the massive amount of debris from the preceding match and ensuring that no hazards are missed. After about 90 seconds the team finishes their work, and the fans are mildly impressed as Philip returns to the ring to complete his job for the night.
Philip: This is the second Main event match, set for one fall. Firstly please welcome the guest referee for this match, Wyvern!
”Trip Like I Do” plays once more, as Wyvern walks out; he looks a little sore from the events of his own match, but he reaches the ring in good time and enters to await the competitors.
Philip: The first participant…. from Okinawa, Japan, she is the current ACW World Champion….Yoko Satoshi!
”Flower of Carnage” hits, and the fans cheer Yoko as she walks down to the ring with her belt over her shoulder. She looks a little apprehensive, not knowing who she’s about to face, but her stride is confident and she enters the ring, waving to the fans. The referee takes her belt for safekeeping.
There is a pregnant pause, as everyone waits… and then to everyone’s surprise “Team 2000 Crash” blasts out of the speakers.
Philip: And her opponent, from Upstate New York…….Bladeseika!
The fans aren’t sure at all how to react; it’s been quite some time since anyone has seen Blade in action, and with his ninja garb and mask some people question if it’s really Shade Peacecraft at all. The question remains a mystery as Blade enters the ring and takes up a fighting stance; Wyvern gives both participants a swift reminder of the rules, and then gives the all clear for the match to start as Philip makes a quick exit.
Bell Rings.
Blade moves with impressive speed and Yoko has to react quickly to avoid getting brought down in the opening seconds of the match. Blade commences with a flurry of his legendary snapping kicks, from which Yoko has to retreat; she rolls to the side, Zelda – style, and pops up behind Blade to kick him in the – no, Blade counters and blocks with a roundhouse of his own, entwines Yoko’s leg and then delivers a cracking kick to the temple with his other foot, twisting Yoko’s trapped limb in the process. Yoko stifles a cry and Blade makes a quick pin, from which Yoko breaks free at just before the 2 count. Both are up very quickly, and Yoko whips Blade into one of the corners; she hopes to reduce his room to execute his attacks, and gets in very close, using a series of knee strikes and shoulder rams to work over her opponent. Blade starts a fightback, and Yoko responds by whipping him across the ring to the opposite corner – she follows and comes forward for a running attack, but Blade drops and rolls aside and Yoko runs into the corner. She pulls back quickly, holding her arm, and Blade knocks her down from behind; quickly he sets up the Heaven’s arrow, and Yoko makes a grab for the ropes. She makes contact with her fingertips, but Wyvern wants to see a solid grip before he breaks up the hold, and Yoko looks at him crossly for a moment before stretching as hard as she can to make proper contact. Wyvern now forces Blade to give up the hold, and Yoko jumps back to her feet, knowing that speed is of the essence. She takes a risk and rushes forward, and catches Blade perfectly for the Pop from Okinawa; the crowd cheers enthusiastically for one of their favourite moves, and Yoko makes a pin, 1….2….. Blade kicks marginally after the 2 count, and rises to continue the fight.
Yoko is finding her stride now, and she counters Blade’s next attack into a swinging neckbreaker of considerable force. Blade rolls aside to avoid another pin, and manages to roll right out of the ring; Yoko’s reaction is immediate, and she runs across to spring from the ropes into a plancha, dropping down on to Blade – but Blade steels himself, catches the diminutive Yoko, and powerslams her hard on to the thin outside matting. Yoko gets up holding her back, and Blade launches a fresh wave of offense, hammering Yoko with kicks and then whipping her into the barrier. The fans recoil, and Yoko is in trouble as Blade closes the gap, lifts her up, and performs his Dragon suplex. The fans are divided over who to support, and a mixture of chants are heard; Blade pulls Yoko to her feet and drags her toward the steel steps, but Yoko regains her composure and resists before he reaches his destination. Yoko succeeds in pulling free and then dropkicking Blade in the chest; Blade staggers back and falls on to the steps awkwardly with a bang. The referee’s count is at eight and Yoko re – enters the ring; Blade follows her, and beats the count to keep the match going. Yoko runs at him again, not wanting to give her opponent excess recovery time, but her move is perhaps a little rash, as Blade counters into a backbody drop and spins around to kick Yoko again as she is falling. The fans wince, and Blade pins, 1……2….. Yoko gets her arm in the air, but this was a closer call than last time. Wyvern watches the match carefully; the fans can’t fault him on his fairness, but it’s clear that he’s learning from this experience, and it’s unclear as to how this might affect the situation come Saturday night.

The competitors get up and advance to grapple once more; both are becoming more tired now, but they still put heart and soul into their efforts, and Yoko gets the upper hand from this engagement with a swift kick to the abdomen and a DDT. She tries a rapid pin, but Blade’s too savvy for that and powers out before 2. He responds with a burst of punches, a deviation from his usual style, and delivers his wristclutch Brainbuster suplex, straight into the pin; Yoko battles out at the 2 count. The minutes tick by, with the combat remaining fierce; both contestants are skilled and resilient, and they use a large proportion of their repertoires looking for that one move which will finish the job and secure victory. Though Blade seems to be scoring more direct hits, Yoko’s attacks now focus on Blade’s knees and lower legs, and a few of the crowd can see where this is heading; Blade’s defence is strong but not impenetrable, and Yoko finds a gap to produce a snap suplex, requiring considerable effort but catching Blade on the hop. As soon as Blade hits the canvas Yoko springs into action – she moves as fast as she can and gets the Ol’ Ball and Chain applied before Blade can get up and clear. When he feels the move being applied Blade tries to get away, and Yoko loses a couple of feet before she can get the hold locked down. Wyvern moves around to monitor the situation, and Yoko’s fans scream at Blade to tap……but Blade’s will and courage is immense, and even though the effort clearly shows on Yoko’s face, Blade will not give in. The crowd watches with admiration as Blade tries to focus; his eyes close, and then with a mighty burst of energy he rips himself out of the hold to a big response from the crowd. Blade’s on his feet in less than a second and prepares for the Ki Krusher – but Yoko is already on the move herself, and running for the ropes. Taking a huge gamble, Yoko springboards and twists in mid air into position for the Flying guillotine, and in his rush to finish the match Blade is too close to escape. The move connects with full potency, and Yoko makes the pin with the hooked leg as Wyvern counts along with the crowd for the 1,2,3.
Philip: Here is your winner……..Yoko Satoshi!
The crowd cheers the victory; Blade and Yoko are both up quickly, and though Blade’s voice is muffled his body language tells everyone that he thinks Wyvern’s count was quick. An argument breaks out; Wyvern refutes the allegation, only to be shoved by Blade. Not at all impressed, Wyvern pulls himself up to full height; Blade shoves him again and also takes a pop at Wyvern’s face with his fist, and with his temper fraying Wyvern pushes Blade back forcefully – so forcefully, in fact, that he pushes him into Yoko, who is standing close by waiting to have her hand raised. Yoko is unbalanced and falls on to her behind; Wyvern fails to notice this and continues to enforce his authority, ordering Blade to the back. Blade glowers from his mask but complies; Wyvern keeps his eyes on him to see that he is leaving, and so misses Yoko getting up, evidently angry and believing that Wyvern’s actions were deliberate. Yoko takes aim, and the crowd cries out as she goes for the flying guillotine, but their noise alerts Wyvern, who turns and counters the move by grabbing Yoko’s leg and producing a sort of powerbomb variation. Yoko just gets more angry; she shouts at Wyvern to come forward and then trips him, intending to apply her Ol’ Ball and Chain. As she tries to run him over, however, Wyvern powers out and instead reverses the move into his own sharpshooter. The crowd is amazed; Wyvern doesn’t keep the hold on for more than a few seconds, his point made. He lets Yoko go and leaves the ring.
Wyvern heads up the ramp and checks his nose for blood, as Yoko gets back to her feet in the ring. Everyone, especially Yoko, is shocked at Wyvern escaping her finishers so easily.
As soon as Wyvern heads through the curtain, he immediately backs out for an unforseen reason. Mercer Stanton then emerges from the back with a microphone.
Mercer: Wyvern and Yoko. I knew if you two just got together in the ring, sparks would fly.
Yoko exits the ring and comes up the ramp with Wyvern, facing Stanton.
Mercer: Yoko, I bet you just want to tear him apart for what he just did. That's why I've been trying to think of a suitable gimmick for your match this Saturday. Something where you can destroy each other.
Yoko: That was just an outburst, I don't want to hurt Wyvern. I told you, I don't want to hurt people anymore.
Wyvern: And I was just defending myself, we don't have hard feelings with each other, Stanton.
Mercer: Then you should be able to handle the match without getting emotional.
Yoko: Please, don't do this. I'm sorry if I offended you.
Stanton turns and points to the curtain. Elias steps through it now, with a chain in his hand. As he comes further out, we see the other end of the chain. A metal ball dragging across the ground. Elias lifts it up and swings it a couple of times, giving a small chuckle.
Mercer: I figure we'll have a Yoko style chain match at Omega Effect! We haven't had one of these since Heatwave, I believe.
Yoko grabs her head as if in pain.
Yoko: No!
Mercer: For the unknowing, this style of chain match works like any other match. The difference is, the competitors are chained together by a rather long length of chain. At the middle of this chain, there is a second length of chain ended with a metal sphere, which is what Elias here is holding. The object is to unhook it and use it to bludgeon your opponent to speed along the pinfall or submission.
Neither Yoko or Wyvern respond.
Mercer: I'll take your silence as a sign that you've now accepted your fate. Good day to you.
The haunting notes of Moonlight Sonata begin to play, and he and Elias turn and leave Wyvern and Yoko on the ramp, now looking at each other uneasily. The staredown is the final shot of the show, a perfect metaphor for the uncertainty of what lies ahead on the greatest stage of them all.
As they continue to gaze, all the lights in the arena fail, and the sound rises. All is darkness for several seconds…. And then a clock appears, in simple white text.
4 days, 21 hours, 30 minutes……… and counting.
The crowd cheers with amazing fire as the reality starts to sink in; the waiting is almost over.
The time for talking has ended.
Come Saturday, careers will be made and broken, legends born……and destroyed.
Fade to Black.
End of Show.

Oh man, it's so close to Omega Effect, but there's still time for one more installment of... [glow=red,2,300]The Senator's Moment of the Show![/glow] The crowd erupts into fresh cheers as AK steps onto the ropes separating her corner from Kiji's and runs across them with almost preternatural agility. She leaps as though for a Hurricanrana, but, astoundingly, Kiji holds her in place. Legs trembling violently with the effort of holding her up, he half-powerbombs, half-throws her away from him, down onto the outside--and through the table that she herself set up earlier in the match, which collapses readily. Kiji keeps his balance for perhaps a half-second afterwards, then plummets forward like a ragdoll, falling down through the sea of noise emanating from the fans, and landing painfully on top of AK in the mangled wreckage of the table. The ref, professional as always, immediately comes forward to check on the situation; then, without a second's hesitation, drops to the floor and begins to count. 1! 2! 3!
Philip: Sweet Mother of… - Er, here is your winner, Kiji! ....................................................................................... Crowd: A-C-Dub! A-C-Dub! A-C-Dub!
"Fast" Eddie Edison: DAAAANNNNNGGGEEROOOOOSSS!
That was a PPV quality match...
