A DVD for Morrison already? This is ridiculous!
Sure, they're probably planning to push him to the moon but a DVD at this stage of his career would be totally pointless.

I can't remember an exact time, but both Cena and Lesnar had DVDs far, FAR quicker into their WWE runs. Remember that Morrison has been with them for 4 years, has a Tough Enough win, ECW title wins, multiple IC and Tag title wins. It won't be a 3 DVD classic, but there's plenty of great stuff there to put on the DVD

They should at least wait until these guys are over enough to warrant a DVD sale.

Morrison IS over enough with the WWE crowd. The DVD will sell well, he may not be a legend, but fans will buy.

Don't know why u guys are surprised, WWE.com had a survey on some ideas for dvds they had. The options were a jericho dvd, jomo, Punk, Orton, another Cena one, one about Giants, and I think one about the history of the women's title

And the reason why DVDs like this never sell well (they don't, unless they chronicle a big star) is because they put them out too early and too often. Some of the highest selling DVDs like WrestleMania 20 and One Night Stand or Rise and Fall of ECW are high selling because they chronicle things that have staying power... a relatively new wrestler shouldn't get a DVD until they at least hit the five year mark with one gimmick (Morrison as Johnny Nitro doesnt count because he wasn't successful and was only in a tag team, Morrison thus far as been more successful but has only been going for about 2 years)

JOhn MOrrison Use common sense.... THAT'S common sense? Excuse me for not fucking knowing a stupid nickname that for some reason only includes the first two letters of each name... of a guy who's had about three name changes since his career began. I mean, holy shit. In no way could I have known that.

I mean don't get me wrong, I love Morrison and am glad they're bringing out a DVD for him but that's a terrible nickname. xD
