-I play Def Jam Fight For NY largely because you can throw Bubba Sparxx, Sean Paul and Flavor Flav into cement pillars, into the path of trains, and set them on fire.

Another one:
- Acid Bath sucks dick. The metal extremists overrated them to fucking hell.
EDIT - And Evans is right with Progressive Rock sucking. The only prog rock band I like is Rush, and it's only their instrumental songs.

I hate kiddies that listen to "Guitar Hero / Rock Band" music. When I mention Pearl Jam, the first thing everyone thinks of is "LOL U MEAN EVENFLOW ON GH!". Please die in a fire. Some of the music I like nowadays started by playing a song on Guitar Hero/Rock Band (i.e. In Flames). I will admit that GH III fanboys fucking ruined "Through the Fire and Flames" for me.

Another couple opinions:
- The Used is actually a pretty decent band. It's just that most of their singles suck (The Bird and The Worm is a pretty good song TBH) - Jimmy Paige needs to die a horrible death - Speaking of Paige, Led Zeppelin is the most overrated rock band ever - Miley Cyrus>Radiohead......I'm being serious..... .__. - Keith Moon>Neil Peart - Smells Like Teen Spirit is probably the most popular rock song ever - Blink-182 has the best lyrics out of any band TBH - Despite me utterly hating The Beatles, Ringo Starr is a badass - When making Individual Thought Patterns, the Death lineup was Chuck Schundler on Lead Guitar/Vocals, Andy LaRoque on Rhythm Guitar, Steve Digeorgio on Bass and Gene Hoglan on drums. This was the greatest metal lineup ever.

- Miley Cyrus>Radiohead......I'm being serious..... .__. Ironically enough Miley was willing to give the lead singer of radiohead head in order to meet them and he told her to go blow herself.

-Radiohead are shit. Really shit. -Dragonforce aren't as bad as people say. Just their singles happen to suck ass. -Lyrics aren't that important in music. I'd rather listen to a song with crap lyrics that happened to be fun to listen to, than a song that had amazing lyrics but was average to listen to. -I have little respect for anyone who thinks Kurt Cobain is some kind of god of music. Grunge was a sub-par genre at best. -Punk was better for music than Prog Rock, Pub Rock, or any kind of music scene 1960s-mid 1970s (even tho Pub Rock is the best genre ever) -99% of all guitar solos are pointless -Going further on that, about 95% of all bands are pointless beyond their first hit single. Look at the metal, or indie scene. You'd be better off buying metal/indie compilation CDs because more likely than not, their albums are going to be full of the same song. This can be said for most genres. -Building on that point, pop is one of the most diverse genres out there. -Maybe not unpopular, but I doubt people are brave enough to admit this nowadays: Michael Jackson is amongst the top 5 greatest artists of all time. -I do not believe on all this faff about how many genres there are. I hear stuff like Death metal, Doom metal, Metalcore, and about 30 other metal-related genres. I bet you could condense it all down into three genres.

-99% of all guitar solos are pointless Why don't you just say that 99% of all chorus' are pointless? >_> But I get what you mean with this. Mainly 7 minute songs that have 5 minute guitar solos.

It's more the fact that a lot of guitar solos are so unimaginative that the songs would be better off with just another verse in there instead of the solo.

- On the contrary to what you said, Dan, I can't listen to songs with crap lyrics. As a lyricist myself I have a hard time understanding why bands/artists can't write decent lyrics. Needs good music too, though.
- I love Serj Tankian's voice. Some people fucking hate it but I love it.
- I fucking HATE Beyonce'. She is not hot and she's a fucking egomaniac, diva bitch. Die.
- Some of you may think it easy to chuck bands into 3 categories, but I'm gonna be honest; you're kidding yourselves. There's too much definition in sub-genres to throw bands into one big category; it just doesn't work. Madball and Metallica would both be put under "Metal" or "Rock" according to your idea, which is completely rubbish because they are COMPLETELY different bands. Without sub-genres, music can't expand beyond boring pop-rock, run of the mill, generic hip hop and pop music.
